This is your 24/7 news update, the latest news this hour at just four minutes. Israel is not allowing Palestinians to cross over into the northern part of Gaza Strip unless one condition is met. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's spokesperson says Hamas is holding civilian hostage, Arbel Yehud, and Israel is demanding for her release which was initially planned for today. The times of Israel says the announcement means that the Israeli Defense Forces will not be withdrawing from a corridor under the Israel Hamas deal. Israel was supposed to withdraw from the corridor on day seven of the ceasefire to allow Palestinians to return to North Gaza. Earlier today, four soldiers who have been held captive by Hamas for 15 months were released and are now back in Israel. The Trump administration's borders are says they planned to use military aircraft every day to carry out deportations of illegal immigrants. In an interview Friday, Tom Holman said using military aircraft to transport migrants back to their home country will be a daily occurrence. On Thursday, the U.S. military flew more than 150 illegal immigrants to Guatemala on two separate flights. Holman said the deportations are prioritizing public safety and national threats. A disturbing end to an argument in the Bronx Friday over a barking dog. Andrew Whitman reports. A man was walking his dog near the Bodega at the corner of southern Boulevard in East 178th Street in the West Farm section of the Bronx around noon Friday. His dog began barking at another man who police say didn't like it. He got so angry, they say the man pulled out a machete and tried to attack the dog. The dog's owner stepped in front as the man swung the machete, slicing four fingers off the dog owner. Machete man ran no arrests. Witnesses say they think three of the four fingers were located. A 2.4 magnitude earthquake struck northern New Jersey Friday afternoon. The United States Geological Survey says the quake was centered just north of Pyramas. They say it happened just after 1 p.m. Hundreds of users on social media reported feeling the shaking throughout northern New Jersey. I'm Rob Martier. The CDC is releasing new flu data. Jim Forbes has the details. That despite the Trump administration putting a halt this week on virtually all scientific communication coming from the federal health agencies. The new data was not reported as it usually is on a CDC webpage called flu view. Instead, the latest flu numbers are in a section that focuses generally on respiratory illness. The data shows flu activity remains high and is on the rise in many parts of the country. Earlier this week, the Trump administration instructed all federal health agencies to temporarily stop public messaging pending a review. An arrow Mexico flight at Miami International Airport was emptied by a phony bomb threat. Officials say the note received Friday carried the message there was a bomb on board the flight that was headed from Miami to Mexico City. A bomb squad investigated the airplane and the flight was cleared to depart a few hours later. The Gulf of Mexico is now called the Gulf of America. Brian Schook reports. The federal government is implementing name changes under a directive from President Trump. That includes reversing an Obama-era decision to rename Mount McKinley in Alaska to Denali. Denali is the name that local natives used. Meanwhile, former President McKinley never visited Alaska. American Madison Keys is the 2025 Australian Open Women's Tennis Champion. The number 19 seed from Illinois outlasted top-seated and two-time defending champion Arena Sabalenko in three sets Saturday at Rod Lever Arena in Melbourne. Keys defeated four top 10 players on her way to her first-ever Grand Slam title. She's the first American champion since Sofia Kennan won in 2020. The NFL's championship Sunday will determine which teams will face off in Super Bowl 59. At 3 p.m. Eastern, the commanders will take on the Eagles for the NFC Championship.
