Local news reports show four female hostages in IDF uniforms waving to the crowd before boarding Red Cross vehicles in Gaza. The four will reportedly be swapped for a number of Palestinian prisoners as part of the Gaza ceasefire deal. The Trump administration is putting a stop to all new foreign aid except for Egypt and Israel. The State Department announced a temporary freeze on Friday. An internal memo at the State Department said no new funds shall be awarded until each program has been reviewed and approved as consistent with President Trump's agenda. The temporary freeze is scheduled to last 90 days. Vice President J.D. Vance is confirming Pete Hegseth as the Secretary of Defense. On this vote, the yays are 50 and the nays are 50. The Senate being equally divided, the Vice President votes in the affirmative and the nomination is confirmed. Hegseth is a former Fox News host. A tense vote in the Senate Friday night ended in a 50/50 tie after three Republicans voted against his confirmation. Vice President Vance had to act as the tiebreaker. This is only the second time in history that a Vice President has had to act as a nomination tiebreaker. The Department of Justice says it will largely stop prosecuting people who stop women from accessing reproductive health care. Brian Shook has more. It's currently illegal for protesters to block entrances, damage property, or threaten patients in front of reproductive health clinics. On Friday, the DOJ said it will now reflect President Trump's position on abortion access and will reduce efforts to charge protesters who stop women from going into places like planned parenthood. There has been an arrest in the killing of a U.S. Border Patrol agent near the Canadian border. Officials announced 21-year-old Theresa Youngblood of Washington State was arrested in connection to Monday's fatal shooting at the border in Vermont. I'm Rob Martier. Monday marks 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp in Poland. Survivor Michael Bornstein, who is returning to Auschwitz for the anniversary, was just four years old when he was held there. I seem to remember the smell, the foul, disgusting smell that I found out later is the smell of burning bodies. More than a million people, including Bornstein's father and brother, lost their lives at Auschwitz. Roughly 50 survivors, along with delegations from dozens of countries, are expected to attend the commemoration ceremony. A 2.4 magnitude earthquake struck northern New Jersey Friday afternoon. The United States Geological Survey says the quake was centered just north of Parramas. They say it happened just after 1 p.m. Hundreds of users on social media reported feeling the shaking throughout northern New Jersey. There have been no reports of structural damage or injuries. Rock musician Marilyn Manson won't face sexual assault charges in California. Los Angeles district attorney Nathan Hawkman made the announcement Friday after a four-year investigation. The DA said we have determined that allegations of domestic violence fall outside the statute of limitations, and we cannot prove charges of sexual assault beyond a reasonable doubt. Actress and Manson's ex Rachel Wood and four other women came forward with allegations of abuse in 2021. Morgan Wallen will hit the road this summer for a stadium tour. The "I'm the Problem" tour will kick off June 20th in Houston. He'll visit 10 cities and play two night stands at most stops, including Phoenix, Seattle, and Cleveland.
