Daniel Martindale reports specific details about Trump's visit have not yet been released to the public. Trump spoke about the deadly fires during his inaugural address on Monday. Trump has been highly critical of Governor Gavin Newsom's handling of the wildfire situation. Earlier this week, the President told Fox News he doesn't think the federal government should give California anything until the state changes certain policies. I'm Daniel Martindale. Trump told reporters he'll first be stopping in North Carolina where tropical storm Helene caused billions of dollars worth of damage last September. The state of California will provide two and a half billion dollars in wildfire recovery funding to Los Angeles County. Governor Gavin Newsom signed a package of funding bills in Pasadena on Thursday. Newsom state lawmakers and city leaders say the money will help speed up rebuilding efforts, fund cleanups, and help issue legal protections and other relief for wildfire survivors. A federal judge in Seattle used a temporary restraining order that prevents President Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship from taking effect. Mark Mayfield reports. Washington Attorney General Nick Brown led three states in the lawsuit. He says the 14th Amendment to the Constitution was meant to reverse the Dred Scott decision by the U.S. Supreme Court that upheld slavery and denied citizenship to black people. It was put into effect to reaffirm what it means to be an American. And so that's why this case was so important. Oregon, Arizona and Illinois joined Washington in filing the lawsuit. The judge ruled the lawsuit would likely prevail. The 17-year-old who fatally shot a student at a Nashville high school live stream part of the crime, that's according to KICK, the streaming platform the shooter used. The company says the account that posted the video was quickly banned and the company removed it. The shooter killed a female student Wednesday at Antioch High School before wounding a second student and then committing suicide. I'm Michael Kastner. In downtown Dallas, President Kennedy was shot today just as his Medicaid left downtown Dallas. What we know at the moment is that Senator Robert Kennedy was shot at his headquarters at the Ambassador Hotel shortly after making a victory statement tonight. Trump signed the order Thursday promising a release of information on the murders. Trump said many people have been waiting for decades for this information and added that everything will be revealed. A new study finds smartphones could be making teenagers more aggressive and causing hallucinations. The study from non-profit Safian Labs found that the younger person is when they start using a smartphone, the more likely they are to develop psychological problems. A majority of teens polled in the U.S. and India said they had feelings of hopelessness, guilt, anxiety and unwanted strange thoughts. The study also found that the problems are more common with girls than boys. Spirit Airlines is implementing rules for passengers regarding offensive tattoos or sheer clothing more from Brian Schook.
