More from Mark Mayfield. The order was signed on Thursday. That's a big one huh? A lot of people are waiting for this for a long for years, for decades. He's promising to release information on the murders of former President John F. Kennedy, Senator Robert F. Kennedy, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Trump said many people have been waiting a long time for this information and added that everything will be revealed. I'm Mark Mayfield. Millions of Americans have been dealing with another day of frigid winter weather. Those from the Midwest, east coast and down to the Gulf Coast have dealt with freezing temperatures today. Tens of thousands woke up without power on Thursday and the lack of snow removal equipment in southern areas where snow is rare, could lead to treacherous road conditions for days. Flight issues remain with over 2,700 delays so far today and over 600 cancellations. House Republicans have passed what they call a born-alive abortion bill. That story from Brian shook. The bill requires doctors to provide the same degree of care if a child is born alive during an attempted abortion as they would a normal childbirth. While Republicans frame the bill as not being anti-abortion but anti-infanticide, it's been largely criticized for its redundancy. Although a rare occurrence it's already illegal for doctors to allow infants to die if they're born alive during an abortion attempt. I'm Brian shook. The best picture field at this year's Oscars has a very musical feel. Nominees include wicked Amelia Perez and a complete unknown. The nominations were announced Thursday morning after being delayed multiple times due to Los Angeles area wildfires. The 97th Academy Awards will take place March 2nd in Hollywood. I'm Tammy Trujillo. President Trump says former President Biden took bad advice when he didn't pardon himself before leaving office. Lisa Taylor reports. While speaking on a number of topics from the Oval Office, Trump said he's open to inviting pardon January 6th defendants to the White House responding to whether or not he consider recess appointments to get confirmations of appointees over the line. Trump deferred to Republican Majority Leader Senator John Thune, the president signed a number of executive orders including one that will look into the creation of a national digital asset stockpile. The president also again called for the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates. I'm Lisa Taylor. Costco's rejecting any efforts to reduce diversity equity and inclusion in the workplace. A conservative activist group recently sent Costco a proposal saying they should conduct an evaluation to see if DEI policies pose any risk to the company. On Thursday, Costco's board of directors voted it down, saying the company will defend respect and inclusion as there are nationwide efforts to strike DEI practices. Travelers can now use Venmo to book a flight on JetBlue Airways. Matt Mattinson has more. The company announced that it's the first airline to accept payment via Venmo when buying flights directly on the carrier's website. The new feature is expected to roll out soon on the airline's mobile app JetBlue says it's part of its goal of using digital technology to simplify and customize people's travel journey. I'm at Mattinson. US Patent and Trademark Office has refused the moniker Utah Yetis for Salt Lake City's NHL team. According to KSL in Salt Lake City, the office denied the nickname due to a likelihood of confusion with brands such as Yeti Cooler's LLC. The team is currently playing as the Utah Hockey Club.
