The Senate voted largely along party lines Thursday to advance Hagseth with the final vote of 51-49. Republican Senators Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins voted against him, with Murkowski saying she cannot in good conscience support his nomination. President Trump says the inflation crisis is the worst in modern history. He addressed the World Economic Forum virtually as it took place in Switzerland today. "The entire planet will be more peaceful and prosperous as a result of this incredible momentum and what we're doing and going to do." It marked Trump's first major speech to global economic leaders. The 17-year-old who fatally shot a student at a Nashville high school live-streamed part of the crime. That's according to Kick, the streaming platform the shooter used. The company says the account that posted the video was quickly banned. A federal judge is rejecting former New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez's latest bid for a retrial. Kristen Marks reports, "Menendez's lawyers argue that his conviction on federal corruption charges should be dismissed because the jury was given a laptop that contained material that was supposed to be excluded from trial." The judge said the defense either chose not to inspect the laptop or did review it and failed to call attention to the evidence. Menendez was found guilty last summer of accepting cash and gold bars and acting as a foreign agent for Egypt. Two businessmen were also convicted and Menendez's wife is awaiting trial on similar charges. The 71-year-old is set to be sentenced January 29th, prosecutors are calling for a 15-year prison sentence. Nora O'Donnell says anchoring the CBS Evening News has been the honor of a lifetime. A new study shows those with ADHD have a shorter life expectancy. Research published by Cambridge University Press found that men with ADHD were likely to live seven less years than those without ADHD. For women, it was likely to shorten their lifespan by eight years. One of the former stars of the Staten Island-based reality show Mob Wives is safe after her mom reported her missing. Natalie Migliore reports, Natalie DeDonato's mother filed a missing person's report with cops in Las Vegas after her daughter missed two flights home, saying she hadn't heard from her daughter since January 14th. Hours later, DeDonato called her mom telling her she was safe. With TMZ reporting, she was not injured, but her purse was stolen, and she didn't have identification. fellow Mob Wives star Trita Devanzo also expressed concern about DeDonato's whereabouts, but later shared she had talked to DeDonato's mom who confirmed DeDonato was home safe.
