Brad Ford reports. The judge ruled the lawsuit by Washington, Oregon, Illinois and Arizona would likely prevail. Washington state attorney general Nick Brown said the unconstitutional and un-American executive order will hopefully never take effect. Brown says it's been recognized by generations of jurists, lawmakers and presidents until President Trump's illegal action. Millions of Americans are dealing with another day of frigid winter weather. Those from the Midwest East Coast and down to the Gulf Coast are dealing with freezing temperatures. Tens of thousands woke up without power on Thursday and a lack of snow removal equipment in southern areas where snow is rare could lead to treacherous road conditions for days. When Trump says former President Biden took bad advice when he didn't pardon himself before leaving office, while speaking on a number of topics from the Oval Office, Trump said he's open to inviting pardoned January 6 defendants to the White House. The president signed a number of executive orders, including one that will look into the creation of national digital assets stockpile. Purdue Pharma and the Sackler family are agreeing to pay more than $7 billion to resolve lawsuits related to the opioid crisis. California Attorney General Rob Bonta laid out the payment process. This will be followed by $500 million after one year, an additional $500 million after two years and $400 million after three years. On Thursday, the Sacklers increased their proposed settlement contribution to $7.4 billion after the U.S. Supreme Court rejected a previous settlement last year. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones gained 408 points to 44,565. The S&P rose 32 points to 61,18, and the NASDAQ was up 44 points to 20,053. I'm Brian Schucht. A new study shows those with ADHD have a shorter life expectancy. Research published by Cambridge University Press found that men with ADHD were likely to live seven less years than those without ADHD. Natalie Di Donato's mother filed a missing person's report with cops in Las Vegas after her daughter missed two flights home, saying she hadn't heard from her daughter since January 14. Hours later, Di Donato called her mom, telling her she was safe.
