A federal judge in Seattle issued a temporary restraining order that prevents President Trump's executive order on birthright citizenship from taking effect. Washington Attorney General Nick Brown led three states in the lawsuit. He says the 14th amendment to the Constitution was meant to reverse the Dred Scott decision by the U.S. Supreme Court that upheld slavery and denied citizenship to black people. He was put into effect to reaffirm what it means to be an American. And so that's why this case was so important. The judge ruled the lawsuit would likely prevail. A federal judge is rejecting former New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez as lead a spid for a retrial. Kristen Marks reports. Menendez's lawyers argue that his conviction on federal corruption charges should be dismissed because the jury was given a laptop that contained material that was supposed to be excluded from trial. The judge said the defense either chose not to inspect the laptop or did review it and failed to call attention to the evidence. Menendez was found guilty last summer of accepting cash and gold bars and acting as a foreign agent for Egypt. I'm Lisa Taylor. He went on to say he was most inspired by Owens and right-wing influencer Nick Fuentes. Owens responded on social media casting doubt on the manifesto's authenticity and criticizing her opponents for using the death of a young 16-year-old girl to try to quickly score political points. The budget airline has previously banned barefoot passengers or offensive clothing. Nosferatu Director Robert Eggers will write and direct a labyrinth sequel.
