Limerick may have to consider the banning of lighting solid fuel fires as new research shows how bad air quality can be in some cities.

It's been suggested “no burn night alerts” could be put in place at times when air quality is expected to be poor.

Professor John Wenger from UCC, who was involved in the research, joined Joe.
