Did you know that cardiovascular disease is the single most common cause of death not only in Ireland but across the western world?

Heart disease is becoming more and more common in today's society and is something that is likely to affect at least one person in each of our lives.

Well the Munster Heart Foundation are looking to raise funds for cardiology unit in UHL through their glamorous annual New Year's Eve fundraiser ‘Casino Royale’, in a bid to improve the services in the region.

The event will be taking place on New Years Eve from 8pm at the Savoy Hotel.

Dr Samour Arnous, Mario Beck and Barry Long joined Joe in studio.
