Have you heard of Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or COPD?

Well COPD is not one single disease but an umbrella term used to describe chronic lung diseases that cause limitations in lung airflow and can be life-threatening disease in advanced cases. 

1,769 people from Limerick Hospitalised due to COPD between 2016 and 2018 and it is estimated that almost half a million people aged 40 years and over in Ireland have COPD.
