Yesterday, we heard from farmer Tom O'Donnell who suffered a brutal attack. The 60 year-old was punched and left unconscious after coming across a trespasser on his land in Kilmallock.

Donal O'Brien heard the interview and got in contact with the show. He says that this isn't just an isolated incident and that gangs of men are targeting farmers in the Pallasgreen and Askeaton areas. Donal believes farmers have no option but to take on the trespassers themselves.
