University Hospital Limerick has recorded the highest-ever daily figure of patients waiting on trolleys for the third time this year

University Hospital Limerick has recorded the highest-ever daily figure of patients waiting on trolleys again this week.

According to the INMO, 81 patients were recorded to be waiting on trolleys yesterday. This is the joint-highest number ever recorded in any hospital and the third time this number has been reached by UHL this year.

Over a thousand patients have been forced to wait on trolleys in UHL this month, making it the worst September on record for the hospital, with a week still remaining.
