Removing yourself from a stressful situation can be very beneficial to your long term health. One of the most stressful areas of life revolves around our careers and work life.

In this episode, I discuss how following your passion in your work life plays a large role in your long term health. Understanding the effects of stress on chronic health issues typically leads to finding ways to reduce stress. Vacations and holidays are a great start because they are ways to remove the work stress from life.

For self-employed individuals, small business owners, and commissioned sales representatives, career stress can become a 24/7 issue. Finding a career that aligns with your passion often allows these individuals (and others as well) to be flexible with scheduling work around the other areas of life that are important, such as health, family, fun, etc.
