Confidence Through Health

Fashion and Exercise

The word fashion might bring up visions of a model on a catwalk or a clothing designer in New York or Paris. You likely won’t think of exercise when you hear the word fashion, but fashion (or proper clothing attire) is extremely important to proper exercise.

In this episode, I share my thoughts on proper exercise attire. Why you should consider making some changes to the outfits you wear to exercise in based on proper function and not based on how they look. I get made fun of often for the short running shorts I wear when I run in warm weather, but that doesn’t stop me from wearing them. I’m not running to make a fashion statement, I’m running to get the most out of my training. To do so means proper resistance and range of motion while running. Other sports have the same needs but often times we see athletes wearing clothing to be “cool” or “hip” instead of peak performance.
