Confidence Through Health

Gardening is a metaphor for life

Our society has advanced in technology, allowing for processes to get quicker to the point of instantaneous. We must remember though that our physical body is still the same body it has always been. The cells still act the same and take time to produce the healthy results we all desire. The process to being healthy is not always a quick one but it’s a process you must trust.

Growing vegetables in your garden takes time. No one with any understanding of reality would plant a seed in the ground and expect to harvest produce the next day or even that month. Most seeds take 7-10 days to emerge from the ground as a plant and then an additional 4-8 weeks to start producing vegetables, which might take another 4-6 weeks to ripen. That’s a long time.
