Hey guys, this is Ricky Stewart. Let me make it very clear. I do not endorse the Raiders' review with Blake and the Pork podcast. Go to the mighty Raiders. Hello and welcome to Raiders' review with Blake and the Pork. And Matt, I am the Pork. I'm Blake. And look, we've looked from here, there, everywhere. We looked in an atoll in the in the Pacific, but we don't know where Matt is. So we're actually new contests for this podcast, formerly known as the third most popular Raiders podcast on the internet. Who can find Matt? Who can find Matt? Anyone gets a identification of Matt anywhere. Let us know, owners are fretting reward off it. I'm sure I'll turn up again soon. He hasn't permanently left the show. Rumors up his demise are greatly exaggerated. He will be returning hopefully next week. Should we get into the news? Yeah, why not? For a week in with atoll Raiders, all us true green followers here. You're here, you're still playing attention in spite of how griment looks at times and how demoralizing depressing it is. Come on. Come on, I'm feeling a lot better after the performance. I took a lot out of that performance. Yeah, true enough. Well, let's get into the news now. We can dissect. Vegas, baby. Yeah, we're going. It's locked in. It's announced. It's happening. I'm pretty sure at least one of the we'll have our representative at Allegiance Stadium on game day. It probably might be either of us, but I imagine a lot of Raiders fans will start saving, start planning, you know, this team just sort of downsizing McDonald's meals between now and then you're the money will probably just, you know, accumulate no time. You'll be able to get a Vegas. It's not going to happen. It's not going to happen. And you know, what the good people from ACT McDonald's fantastic sponsor of the Camberators and the local rugby league may well sponsor the pork to go over there and speak. Sprook, the great news of Australian McDonald's over there. But, you know, didn't you a while back have a beer company reached out to you about us, you know, joining them on the podcast, you know, they did. It was bug-wise, but they thought that we were, we, they thought that we were a Las Vegas Raiders podcast. Well, we are now. Yeah, let's go back to them. We can, we have a, like I've said, many times I am for sale. I happily will speak enough of the sponsors, enough of the sponsor. One of the advantages of this show is we don't actually bang on about sponsors. So let's, let's keep it that way. Money we would. Good point. Good point. Or beer? Totally. Yeah, absolutely. In contract. I'm totally for sale. They will make me an offer. But yeah, so, so it's confirmed right as that guy. Now be one of the home teams. Who are we playing? Is it either Panthers? No, I'd, Panthers are the other home team. So we can't play the other home team. Oh, okay. So, so who do we give it up? Sorry, we give it up and go. But I, I don't know, but it's not the size. It's a great research. Yeah. Well, I've done a magnificent job here. I did hear the four sides and I know it was the Panthers and the Raiders, right? Those are the two things I do know. I don't know the other side. I know the storm isn't coming that much. I do know I'm pretty sure it's not going to be the roost and it's not going to be Manly again. It's not going to be the Broncos. So maybe Parramatta would be good. I don't know. One second. What's going to appeal to the good people of loss? The Sharks Raiders Warriors. So we're either going to play the Sharks or we're going to play the Warriors. I'd say we played the Warriors. It's a possibility. It sounds likely. They're the sort of side that would like to win on a forward pass and a really bad bunker decision, wouldn't you say? Oh, no, AFB is going back over as an easy as he's leaving them back to the Panther. They wouldn't be there to get a nice forward pass and score a winning try, would he? He's going to the Sharks, mate. I thought he was going to the Panthers. Someone's going, James Fish Harris is leaving them. Oh, no, they haven't done it yet. James Fish's Harris is going to the Warriors. That's right. They haven't been able to, Blake, is going to the Sharks. Yeah. And who knows who's Emera Goula might be going to the Panthers. And of course, Brent Reed has given us hope by Lincoln. It's both Stefano, Utokomano and Daniel Sypheding now. So much. I never saw he didn't. Lincoln's to Daniel Sypheding. Well, he should. If he hasn't, he should buy now. No, I think it's only, I think it's, I think it's only your mates that are trying to link his to Daniel Sypheding. I wouldn't be, he's on 800k. I wouldn't be touching that. And I wouldn't be, he's 28 years old, Pete for a book. Yeah. He's a captain. He's a leader. He's a good player. He's very inconsistent, very inconsistent. And I wouldn't be in the market, but I know we need to hook up, but I wouldn't be in the market with Jane Braley at 800,000 either. I mean, he's pretty, he's pretty ordinary, I reckon. I think he's, he's overhyped and overpaid. And you look at, he's fallen behind. I mean, Phoenix Crossland. Oh, yes. But, I know, so we'll get to this. I know Phoenix hasn't managed to get himself against you this weekend, which is very disappointing for those of us who like more. He's not going to scour a try. Not going to scour a try. But Tex Hoy all say nowhere to be seen. Tex Hoy is in the UK. But well, that's why he's not been killing it. He's killing it superly. So, so what news have you got for us apart from that? So, I guess, here we're going. So that's exciting. Great, great. I mean, there is, I guess, you know, some people might say that you look at the teams that went this year and did it potentially adversely affect the start of their years. It's hard. It's hard. It's hard to say. None of them performed super gravity. The Broncos have been, you know, have been pretty much ordinary all years, so they can't really blame that all on Vegas. But I don't have any crucial injuries. And, yeah, and the roosters were slow starters. Not anymore, though, aren't they? No, but that's, that's, that's the classic, um, robo thing is he, he sort of times his run, doesn't he? Well, it's all the time, it's time to like, if they can keep their players on the field, though, they've got to be the leaders because the top of the ladder. If they can sign a few more from rugby union, well, we'll do, don't you? Wherever they want, wherever they want. Have you seen that? They sort of, they sort of said, okay, we're going to allow this to happen this time. Yeah. Moving forward, we're closing that loophole so it can never happen again. Yeah, right. Until uncle Nick needs to play a loophole. He's always smart. He's always out smart. And he's always moving, always, always posing the question. It's like a shark. He's just got to keep on moving. Otherwise, he'll buy. So you already sort of mentioned it. And look, it was, it was Brent Reid was one of the people. I don't know if he was any people, but has said, um, as linked as to, and apparently, you know, Don's been contacted and he said, yes, we're definitely, uh, in the Stefano Utukumano business. And, um, reportedly, we've put in an offer, um, five years at 900,000, uh, I think he's a good player. Look, he's 24. He is great. Yeah, I think he's, I think he's a good player. And, and it's good that we're interested in, and maybe this is the, the, the feeder money we had set aside that now we're just trying to, you know, whether he's manager or who else we're trying to then offer that to Stefano, but it's, it's, it's, it's a gamble. I mean, to get a big name, play, contract is a gamble at any time. Yeah. I mean, there's a big name playing down, stung by the camp. Oh, five year. Baby, that hurt. That hurt. Outside of outside of DCE. I don't think there's been a, um, DCE has argued, has argued, he actually turned out to be a better deal in the long run at the start. People thought it was crazy, but in the long run, it's turned out to be a pretty good deal. DCE is the only one that's really lived up to a 10 year. Yeah. He's a, he's only turbo has barely played since he got his, but DCE, look, Jason town will always still playing. I mean, he's got three years, but he's not, he's not a million, he's not a million dollar player anymore. He's, he's a handy player off the bench now. Really. I mean, until he comes and plays us, then he'll have a man that match performance obviously, but you know, you know, only we can truly play. That's car felt, car felt. It's got the lock on the man and match performances against the Raiders. He just, he winds back in the clock every time he's places. Um, but look, we, one of the things Matt and I have been saying on this show and one of my observations I'll league this year is that you build your team around a seven and a prop. And obviously to a certain extent, you know, Pupa's pretty much at the end of the road. Um, Joe Tapity is still going strong, but you know, he's only got really probably a couple more years at his, at his peak and maybe the club have identified, you know, Stefano is the prop that we build this side around, this side that has. And he's also in the keyway to Joe. So that, that's probably a very good link to actually attract Stefano because he knows his, his keyway breadth run. Do you want me to edit this bit out? Are we going to leave it in? What's wrong? He's not in the keyway team. He played for New South Wales last year, Tim. I swear he's born in New Zealand. Well, he may well be born in New Zealand, but it doesn't mean he's played for New Zealand. He's, he, he played for the boys. I did do some research. I, yeah, he did. Oh, you did too. He has played for New Zealand. He can play as a junior. I mean, they've been heaps of, you know, James Tom, I was born in New Zealand and he played for the blues. There's, there's a million examples, but he's not a keyway. He's not in the keyway team with Joe Tapity and he never will be. But I think that he could be the one that they want to move. They want to, they want to, you know, have as the prop to, to, to with the standards, with the strange, with the Chevy Stewart, with the KO weeks moving forward. So it's, it's good that we're in the market. Ultimately, we sort of said last week, I don't think our chances are massive of signing him. I mean, the pitch the club would make to him is the same pitch that you're still trying to check the paper, New Zealand. No, he's quite the, he's played for Samoa. Well, that's a tier two nation. It's different. Yeah, I know. But anyway, what in Auckland, New Zealand? Yeah, it doesn't matter. Well, it should, it shouldn't matter. It doesn't, but it should. Yeah, we've established that just just as long as New Zealand. But the pitch they would be making to him, what's it doesn't matter? The pitch they would be making to him is the same pitch that they would have made to David Fieder. Hey, here's a place where you can come and develop as a player, you know, away from the distractions. We've got a great young group building here. And in the meantime, as well as having a great young group to build with, you can learn off properly. You can learn off Joe Tappany. Yeah, I mean, there's, there's definitely, there's a case to be made, but I don't think he's going to take it. I look, I think there's a good chance that he will. I think it's a good prospect. I think it's good target 24. We've seen what we like. We like him. He's good value. I think he's worth the risk. I prefer it was four than five, but five is probably what it takes to actually do it. I think the Tigers have offered four at 800,000. So we've actually upped. We've gone an extra year and another 100,000. And look, if he lives at the Eagle Hawk, it's really only two hours back to there, you know, hopping the car and you're there in a, in a mud. I actually listened, I listened to, I think it was like in the bar and they had junior Paolo on there. And he was talking, hey, he rooted his back because he was had some car already, little car and was driving up and down, you know, twice a week back to Sydney. And it stuffed up his back. So yeah, I don't advise it. No, no, no, no. Once you get over a certain kilogram weightage, your lower back really does get fun. It's a big boy. Yeah, but he's not big boy like me or to the Paolo, you know, where it is. He's not carrying a keg off the front end. Anyway, so yeah, maybe we'll sign him maybe, you know, we spoke about Big Papa and maybe he was a bit of New Zealand. Who knows anything's possible. Who's born there? So it's half the real team. Yeah, I know, I know, I know, I'm just like, I just, I'm constantly amazed at state of origin, picks people who aren't from there, but you know, because it's where you played your first life, junior ref football or whatever, you know, so he's come over here. Anyway, it comes down to your allegiance in the end. You can play your first duty there, but if you're born there and say that's who I am, that's who you are. Anyway, there's more money to be made playing state of origin and more profit. Big Papa, there's talk that he could be playing his 300th game. Because I think it was going to be a home game and then he got suspended. Yeah. And now, where is he due to play? We should look this up. It's a way. Now I've looked at this before. It's an away match and they are talking about delaying it and haven't been against South Sydney. So was what I was thinking in that. Hang on. What's the away game? The away game. I can't remember which one it is. Like he's he's got six to go. So we've got like three home games coming up. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So we've got I think it's the bulldogs match that is. Oh, Belmore. Yeah, that's sick when it's done, which is round 22. So they're awesome. They might be if it would, but it's at Belmore. So I think they might wait and have it on Saturday 10th of the August in round 23 against the Seagulls. And that's a Saturday day game. Yeah. So that's really appropriate. But you know, he's going to have to kick up a knock, isn't he? He is. He is going to pick up a knock or yeah, I don't know. Well, I'm just going to pull someone's hair or somehow get suspended. I don't want him to be interested in that. I'd prefer he picks up a knock. It's definitely a possibility that he could pick up a knock, but the way things we're going with our front row stocks really don't want to be. What game do you want to be missing publicly for in order to know that? So we've got the lights this weekend. You don't want to pick up a knock for that. Then we've got the Warriors at home. Don't want to pick up a knock. Definitely can't have an offer. And then South Sydney, well, he wants to play that game. Yeah, he'd want to play. So it would have been the South Sydney one if he hadn't got the way to the Bulldogs. And, you know, I guess that's the match he'd pick up a knock. That's the one. That's that's the one. Yeah. Yeah. There's a strong offer. Whereas we're going down, you know, they're in fifth, we're in 12. So yeah, we're going backwards. We are. No. Well, rather, we're standing still and people are going past us, I'd imagine. Yeah. What other ones have we got for? We're just drowning in quicksand. I read this thing once it was online and I was like, you know, my childhood, I was just so worried about quicksand. Remember when you're a kid? Was everyone quicksand? It really, really hasn't come to fruition the whole thing as a really, it really isn't a threat. It's hard to rattlesnake. Like, I haven't seen them. I said brown snakes and we read Billy Black's and few tigers, but I've never seen me rattlesnake, which I prefer the rattlesnake because they're far less venomous. They are. And they warn you. Yeah, they'll give you a venue. They're rattlesnakes. So you can bite you and kill you. Exactly. They just need to scratch you with their thanks. Other bit of a proper news. He is the Raiders nominee for 2024. Ken Stevens' medal for all his wonderful work he's doing off the field. And he is just such a great member of the community. I mean, I'll tell a little story that when we were at, was it last year, we were at Kip-ax watching this year's Cup and it was the day after we'd lost the dolphins and all the first-grade team were there. We were just sitting there with the two boys who were sitting next to us. Papas just come up and just go over and settle later them, shook their hands, you know, they didn't even need to approach him. I mean, Matthew wasn't even really sure who it was. Yeah, no, he didn't realize it wasn't later figure it out. It was papa. It might have been when he might have been when he had his hair cut. But no, he's just when you're around him, he's just such a cool, he's just a mellow dude. He's got such a good presence. And yeah, it would be great to see him pick up this award. I mean, I think of the 2019 Grand final line. There were highlights and there were low lights. But when Sia got up and accepted the Ken Stevens award before the game, the reception that the Raiders fans gave him was incredible. That was one of the greatest moments I think I've been. There were many great moments that night and obviously some not so good ones later on. But him getting the award was huge. So it would be great if all the Raiders fans could get behind big publicers. Raiders fans are known to be quite good at getting behind certain polls and supporting their players. I mean, we probably, as a whole, probably Raiders fans are a bit more sort of computer savvy and literate and you know, know how to probably vote on something. Although sometimes some of the comments you do read on Facebook would go against. No, that is true. And look, we're not out here to bag any other Raiders fans already came or proclaimed one group of people, a true supporter and another group. That's right. No, you're a supporter, right? But Brad the Ripper, you're close to getting banned. I'm just going to say that now. Not by me. Not by me, Brad. That'd be on our page. You can't be using other Raiders fans and calling them nasty names, Brad. So just just rain it in, buddy. But are they nasty names? I mean, I can never tell what he's saying one way or another. So it could be, they could be compliments. I mean, he does sell, he does spell the C word with a K. So that's right. You know, that's right. Could be anything. I'm missing to everything. Next bit of news. It's not so good. Corey Horsbrot. You know, we heard the rumors that he was unsettled. His manager came out during the week. Have you seen his manager? You replied to his manager on Twitter during the week. Did you know that? You don't even know who's managed it. No one knows his manager. He's some guy called Jeff Girot. He's on Twitter with that 50 followers. And he just tweets constantly saying that Corey Horsbrot should come into orange in game three. It's not going to happen. It's not going to happen. Well, it can't. Hey, like he's had the most frustrating season. First of all, you had the shoulder charge suspension carry out from last year. Then he finally came in the side, did his groin. Then he's gone back through New South Wales Cup, then got sick. Then back in New South Wales Cup in the weekend, flew a bit of Auckland. And then brain explosion, not only did he throw a punchy match through a headbutt as well. And he's banned for three weeks. Look, and he had to take an early guilty plea to get that and quite. You got to fly. I mean, Tom Arlay isn't an annoying person. There's no question. But at the same time, look, I actually think the stupid people in that wasn't so much the horse, because you know, he loses the plot every now and then he goes wild, and he goes, well, it's the two warriors that have come in throwing punches, especially the last guys. Like, what the hell did you do that for? He just got himself suspended, sent off. But no party, good reason. And let the rate go back. This does lead to the most popular segment of the week, Tim. Oh, it's cloud off the week. Big red, it pains me to say it. But this week, Corey, you are my last plan of the week. I mean, I know you're frustrated, like, get it. But, you know, yeah, it's supposed to be a little bit older and a bit a little bit wiser. And we really had hope that you put that sort of hotheadness behind you, because, you know, it'd be in the team. I think he was probably, I think he was probably, we would be bringing sexy back. I think he was probably frustrated last week that Jordan Martin got the nod ahead. And Paul Jordan Martin, that is one of the shortest debuts you'll ever see. It is. But, you know what, he was trying. That's why he gets his head in the wrong place. I know. Yeah, he was fired up. And the few moments he was on there. He looked great quitting himself. Well, the fly down. He had, he had, well, it's, it's the mullet. It's got cut. And it's also, not only is it good to get cut, it's also got some other challenges. So enjoy it. Well, he's got to make the most of it while it lasts, because I get a feeling it's not going to be around for, you know, it's, it's, his mullet's here for, it's for a good time. It's not here for a long time. It is magnificent. I mean, what do you care to call it? A scallop, if you prefer. But I prefer to call it mullet of Australis, you know, because only the Australian's really featured that particular sort of thin, wafting drapery at the back with the spikiness and the shortness of the front. They don't mind, they don't mind it in Canada. They call it hockey hair. But yeah, the poor, like, I think the only sort of debut I could think of that in recent times, in a Raiders context, anyway, that Shorter was, um, savour savage against the dragons when they thought that he was, oh, yeah, yeah, what they thought he was gonna go on as the agent, man. It wasn't officially debut in the end, wasn't it? Hey, and it was lucky we lost, wasn't it? Because if we had, it was a good thing we lost, we lost two points because we lost the two points anyway. But who's your last plan this week? Well, look, I actually don't know who, um, the ask lady is. I, I don't know who it is because I don't know who the video ref was last week, right? But I just want to raise three incidents with you. And I know we're not meant to be ref's faulting here, right? So it's, um, it's not particularly ref's faulting. It's more, um, what the F faulting, because I don't understand what happened. Right. Incident one, a tri was called back for the Melbourne storm because in the background, it was seen the Jordan Rabiner had been taken out both high and late. So they didn't, they took the tri back in order to do that. But in taking it back, they didn't give the raiders a penalty. Odd. I'm not sure how that occurs. Second, Jerome Hughes is tackled, doesn't go back in the end goal and he's tackled and it loses the ball. Now, it's either a penalty to Melbourne for the second tackle and bringing the ball free, or it's the Raiders possession. But then Jerome Hughes plays the ball. What the F then last of all, and this is the third one, Katoa goes up to knock successfully the ball back, which he does. And as he goes through with a cocked elbow, hits Jordan Rabiner in the head. I'm sure accidentally, some people say it's not, I think, accidentally. Yeah, it was actually now. It's definitely high. And then Raba goes from HIA. But there's no penalty. And you've got to wonder how those things actually occur. Different rules apply for Jordan Rabiner. You're allowed to, you know. And that's OK. And maybe different rules for Jerome Hughes in the fact that he's allowed to lose the ball and still retain possession. I mean, it's because it was Raba who was taken out. We don't get a penalty. I don't know. But I want to see some explanation of why those but fuddling decisions were made. So until such points, I do, whoever the mystery bunker person was, is my ask plan of the week. Jerome Hughes has done a great job of taking over the mantle of from Cameron Smith as the refs whisperer. Oh, he's fantastic. He really is. He's very good at it. I mean, the two best I've seen in my lifetime are Cameron Smith and Jonathan Thurston. But, you know, look, Dylan Ed would actually backed off his style of constantly just yelling at the ref the entire match. I think he must have been given a warning. But while it wasn't whispering, it was yelling. It was quite effective. Yeah. I like Ellie Whitehead's approach. I mean, it doesn't really work, but, you know, but Whitehead's not too lack of trying. No, Whitehead's approach is, you know, off page one of Cameron Smith's book. My side shagged. They need a break. I'm going to come up and talk to the ref and slow down the play to give them a little bit more time. He knows half the time is not going to be successful. He is just trying to buy them a little bit more time. And that's what he's doing. Whereas Jerome Hughes, like he's building for the next piece of advantage you can get. Oh, what about that? What about that? What about that? But, yeah, no, Jerome Hughes, he was a special in that. We had a bit of feedback. I'm sorry, before you do that, we had a bit of feedback from last week. Hong Kong Raider. I enjoyed this episode. The player that played all three grades on the same day is Chris Geider of St George on grand final day in 1985. It played against his in reserve grade. So that was the first time the camperator has made a grand final of any sort of, you know, major thing. It was almost 25. And we were winning with about, I don't know, minutes ago. And it's George scored off a forward pass. And I remember being absolutely shattered as a 14-year-old. He played against his in reserve grade. He won two, but ultimately lost first grade academy seven to six. So there you go. Listen, over the top of the man playing the ball of the score, there's no way will that be allowed as a try now. Listeners are our best researchers. But I never got a guy at my school who was in George's board, Darren Kalman's 20 bucks at the Raiders reserves of beat the St George reserves. And that was a bit of pill to swallow, having to hand that money over that mongrel. You're out there, Darren, you're an arse hole. Ass clown, please. Okay, yeah. No, I go with the first one. One of the kids on the street saying, the Giat. Is that the term we're hearing on the spot? Yeah, it's but. Yeah, it's but. Yeah, there we go. But there was something on the media with skippity toilet. Skippity toilet. Yeah. No, you got, you got no riz. No, I've got no riz whatsoever. I think we've established that whatsoever. But there was something that annoyed me on the weekend in the match. And you might say it grounds my gears. You know what really grinds my gears? You know what grinds my gears? Like it's going to be something about the referees or something like that. No, it's not. What is it? Could we catch a bomb or a short dropout? Could we could we catch a bomb or a short dropout? I mean, at the moment, you can go into a match against the Raiders and say, oh, it's okay. We're under pressure. We're just hanging on here. What should we do here? Oh, we'll put up a bomb or we will contest a short dropout and we'll get the ball back and we'll probably score because we can't seem to diffuse. Tough emissions. They were tough conditions, but it has been. It's not just on the weekend. No, it's been extreme matches. It's like, oh, it's it's been it's been worse in recent times. I mean, Rapper was very safe at the start of the year. For a long time in the season, Xavier Savage didn't look like putting one down ever. And then, I think he dropped at least two on the weekend and then the car wicks catch a kick. I maybe he did. Maybe he did sort of catch one, but actually look at the kick diffusal rates from that game on the weekend. I think we were like 20, 25%. So three quarters of the kicks we dropped. That is the diffusal. We were 24%. Of the bombs that came our way, we caught three of them, and we fielded two of the grubbers, whereas the Melbourne storm, they had an 86% diffusal rate. And right there, I would argue very strongly is where the game was won and lost. Oh, absolutely. If you think about a couple of the drop bombs, I mean, they only got in field position right at the end of the first half to score that try, because we gave them the ball close to our line. The defense held so well for so long. We had fought it in position in the match. Going to the match, though. And look, it's very easy like I was going to all doom and gloom, right? Because what are we doing? I'm not doing the gloom at all. I mean, I don't want to be the matrilinevors. Everything's great. But I took so many positives out of that game. I was so happy with the effort. And it got to half time. And I went, you know what? No matter what happens from here, the team that showed up is the team that I wanted to see. It was. It was. And it should be named showed up. It was us. It was us. That was us. And look, you know, Jordan Rapper personifies us. He's all left fit. He's got some areas in him. He's got some brain explosions. But as long as there's effort, I can go away. Happy. I mean, people go, oh, you didn't even beat the Melbourne storm. And they didn't have Pappanow's and they didn't have Cameron Munster. Cameron Munster and Pappanow hasn't haven't had a huge sort of influence on the storm season. This year, it's mainly been a last round years. Yeah. And and look where the Melbourne storm are without those guys playing a significant, you know, part of the season on top. Yeah. They're on top. They're on top. Two points above. So I don't think that we should have thought that I am, you know, as a weak storm sign and we should automatically win. I mean, I admit some of those storm players, if I walked by on the street, I wouldn't recognize them. Well, I will recognize Grand Anderson going forward because what a pillock. I mean, if there's a man out there, we've been searching around for all the player, all the divisive players on other sides that people love to hate. We talked about Carl Felt. We talked about Dwz, of course, our own rapper, right? Well, Grand Anderson, after that performance, has to be right up there because he's a dick. Okay. He's a dick. And look, I am dying for the moment where someone absolutely pasted him because he's really asked for it. He's just a pure stone cold dick. And if I wanted to say a beat, but look, some great stats from us for the weekend. Do you know how many more tackles we made than the storm on the weekend? 100? 200? 154 more tackles. 154 more tackles. Yes. Because we kept on dropping the ball, as Ricky said. We did. But they had 17 errors as well. I know, I know they made a lot of errors as well. It was a tricky night. Probably the highlight, actually, as well as the improved defensive performance, the other highlight for me was that the continual shots of just bellyache, just losing his mind, pleasing mind in the cage. When he gets up and he disappears at the back and then he comes back down. And to the last minute, he was just ropeable. He was, he's always rope. Well, that's why they play so well, because they know they've got to go back in the dressing room face here, man. I'd be scared as well. But, you know, Ricky went out and was talking about them guessing. Look, the penalties and the infringements on the sticks against women, as marked as they were against the West Tigers. There was only one. There was only, we only had one more six again go against us than we went against them. No, no, no. We had six rucks and infringements and one inside 10 meters, so seven, and they had four rucking infringements and no inside 10. So there's basically three more and one more penalty. So it's four overall. Okay, there is, there isn't imbalance there. But also too, we need to see the H against the West Tigers. No, and also when you consider that if we were making that many more tackles, you know, they had the ball in an offensive sense, so many more times. It's going to skew. We're just by the law of averages. We're going to have more. But it is, it's seeing as the law of averages. Yeah. Well, anyway, it is, they have times that can come up tails every time there is no average to that. That is true. They, they are quite ambiguous at the times. It is unclear what the continual six agains are for. Yeah, look, because look, it was my mate, Grandak. And so, you know, he's not going to be biased against the Raiders. He's just not, you know, because he values my friendship above that. He'd make sure he played a cleaner than game at all times. Yeah. You know, so I'm not saying that. We just, we just don't want him to be the ref when we play the Panthers. Just saying the boyfriend. A lot of, he is from that neck of the woods. But I've never seen that in how I've seen it. I've seen it. It's a thing, Tim. Look, he's the man of the ref you want, because at the moment, because he's the person who controls the game, he doesn't give a crap who's playing on either side. He controls the ref like the game like he does. That's why I talk about refs anymore. Let's talk about the Raiders. A much better performance. I thought the defensive effort in the first half. I mean, a lot of it, we saw Tom's, there were changes to the team. It was galore. They were pretty much all the ones last week. I said, I'd hoped we'd see. And look, Adam Cook came in. He did cook and he did a great job. The team looked a lot better with him as a sort of a calm, controlling seven. His kicking game in the first half was very good. In the second half, he had a couple that he kind of miscued weren't so great. But also in the first half, some of his defense. Yeah, his defense was good. I mean, a guy that was not known, really noted as a strong defender. He did some great one on one. Completely. They completely targeted him. They are absolutely focused. And gee, they were good at it. They got him one on one that many times, the lads. And I don't think he was the reason anyone went through for a try. He was six runs for 64 meters, 18 post contact in there, which seemed bad with a tackle break. But his tackling stats was he made 22 and missed three. But he didn't see the line. But there was some great, there was some great one on one tackle. And look, we were calling from him to come back in the team. And straight away, we looked a much better side. Really do. With him at seven and Kowigs at fullback. I mean, Kowigs wasn't great on the high ball. Hopefully he does a lot of practice during the week. But just his speed out of the back is such a weapon. He got quite really fast. That was the other thing too. So he wasn't just running straight back at the line. He was running on an angle and then doing that swerving run where he could actually get out to the center's and second row spot, bringing his play with him, which made him extra damaging. So the speed was quite phenomenal, but it wasn't just blood I'm running straight into line. He was able to really get it going and focus at a weak point. And very quick. Yeah. I mean, we've seen that he can do that sort of wash thing where suddenly he goes from the inside shoulder to the outside shoulder of the defender and really, really stretches. And it just opens up, you know, so many more opportunities for the sides. I really liked him. They are really tiny tackles. Predator with zero miss tackles. That's pretty good. I really liked, well, you don't make that many, I guess, for like, they didn't make that many line breaks. I really liked to cook at half like the Adam Cook story is phenomenal. It is. He played his first one and only prior first grade going for the Raiders in 2020. He was part of the baby raids against the sharks with Sammy Willie against the sharks. Yeah. He was the fullback. So in his previous life as a Raider, he was a fullback, then he left, I think the end of 21 or 22. I remember seeing that play back. Very same match you were talking about. Well, we were sitting at Kip Aks. We came up. We were sitting right next to his family yelling out, go Adam. Remember, he was in there and he was like, how was he before, I think? I wasn't 19. It was 20 or 21. Couldn't have been 20. That's the COVID. It has to be 21. 21. I think that was his last year. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think it was 21. Yeah. No, that game with Papa one, that was after the Dolphins, the Dolphins I joined last year. Yeah, yeah. Okay. But it was, it was a couple years back. He was definitely quite full back. Yeah. No, and look, he looked a good player, but obviously, you know, the other players coming through and the club sort of said, thanks, you know, but we'll see you later. And so he went back up to Queensland where he's from and he floated around a few different queue cup sides. And then he only came in to the Raiders squad. He wasn't even on the top 30 of the start of the year. Post Christmas after the sad passing of Troy Dagen. Yeah. So if Troy Dagen doesn't have that terrible accident, you know, he's not back in the Raiders. He's not playing half back. If the shoe man doesn't go to the UK again, you know, he's probably not here playing half back. They brought him in. No, absolutely no disrespect to him and Cook. And I know that's not what you're saying. Jeez, I wish he hadn't come in because Troy Dagen was buying seven for us at the moment. You know, anyway, but that's awful. But, you know, it's incredible. And look, they brought him in as a stopgap seven. And then he's been, you know, we've said it a number of times. He's probably been the form seven and he's just the Wales couple of years. He has. And there's no question we've lost the matches when he hasn't been playing. Yeah. And he's, you know, he's come back in and into first grade and look, he's kept his spot this week and presumably he'll keep his spot, you know, up until Jamal returns, which may, may only be a couple of weeks away. But, you know, I really thought seeing him play again and do well. A couple of other players would sort of be in the line who I thought had good performances against the storm. I thought Hudson Young was a lot better. Both in attack and in defense. His defense was a lot better. Yeah. Tom Starling was brilliant. I mean, the guy pound for pound, you know, you could say the toughest player in the NRL is Cameron Guinness. Tom Starling would be right behind him. Very similar he was toughest players. Heads only mothers could love, you know, and that gash on his eyebrow. That would have required a lot of span. That was deep. And he didn't miss a beat. Another big one across his nose. But defensively, we just looked so much better with him there. Oh, look, they were so much there. Look, and they do the same thing. They're taking, I was just waiting for Big Nelson to try and go over the top. Well, Big Nelson was trying to go up top him. And the other guy though, I think that some people more line because you could sort of say that he let in the first two tries of the storm. But I thought Ellie Whitehead defensively was great. And he and Tommy did a great job on Nelson of South, South of Solomona. Look, you know, he was started the game and with Big Nelson, he's got 20 minutes in him. His second stint is nothing, but he absolutely rips and tears for that first 20 minutes. And we did a damn good job and contain him. Yeah, I think they did too. Look, look, in amongst that, when we're making 154 tackles, when you got a 34-year-old second rower standing out there who has to make well over 40 tackles, well over 40 tackles. I think you made 46. The fact that he missed four, that's completely excusable. You know, he's one tough pompt to quote Coach Ricky Stewart, he said to me, one of his one tough pom. And he is. And look, I think the side's better. Can you imagine the scores that have been put up against the city? Wasn't he out there? I know, I know. And look, Zach Hosking will be back, hopefully, after the boys, well and soon. And then at that point, maybe there's an argument for Zach Hosking to go back to that spot and Elliot to go to the bench and share minutes at 13 or whatever. But in the meantime-- Or the front row rotation. Yeah, of course. But in the meantime, you can't call for Elliot Whitehead to be dropped. I'm sorry, people call for Elliot Whitehead to be dropped. All sorts of stuff, because they're living in Madison. You can only drop someone, if there's someone waiting to do a better job. And, you know, like I was saying, Zach Hosking is like, who are you bringing in? Who's coming in? That can moderately compete with him for everything where it is a club. It's a ridiculous thing. But, you know, look, I think, you know, Whitehead has his deficiencies. And you know, like, when you get to his age, you know, what is it? Obviously. You know, he's more than seven now. Well, he's played like a spell. You're miles in the clock. The amount of games he's played. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, over 400. Yeah, it is. And he's doing normal internationals and everything. Yeah, he's doing very well for his age. You know, he'll be on 4th of September. He'll be 35 years old. Now, that still makes him young enough to be my son. Which is really, really scary. But yeah, the lad from Brad was doing all right. Look, put amongst all of that while we're talking about it. There are, in fact, reasons to be cheerful. Reasons to be cheerful. Part 3. And those are the players. So you've already said one that I named, which is cookie. I think Cookie is doing really well. He's got nothing to lose. And so he's playing like it looks good. Elliott White. He was remarkably calm for that. For someone to just come in, you know, presumably he knew earlier than an hour before kickoff that he was playing. I presume he knew he's playing on Wake. Look, there was a Ricky Smokes fan. And it was funny because people were going, Adam Cook's been named at center. He's not going to be playing center. You know what Rick said to him. You absolutely know, go play your game. You know, that's what he said. And he's just said, just do what you do. And that's exactly what he like. But that's what we've missed since Jamal's gone. That's what we've missed. Yeah. But he's not trying to pretend missed that call else. Yeah, because weeks is a fight, they come full back, come where it comes center. He's not and he did a good job at center. Strangers is it is it is it five eight. But interesting thing that happened as well, they would with Cook coming in and playing on the left that actually enabled Ethan Strange to go back to the right. Yeah, which is where he has generally played at center and at half before. I'd actually love to see Strange with a little bit more width. And you know, he killed it in the under 19 New South Wales side playing at center and a little bit more room. He like Chica Ferguson before him, he beats the first tackle. Everybody time beats the first tackle. He's got that step and then that powerful drive. Yeah. He's strong. I just want to see him with a bit more space and he is going to make things. But the other reason to be cheerful, right, is Hopperwater 200, you know, meat and potatoes right here. He is. He's how many knee operations he had now. Twenty five three three. Right. You know, the name is Adam Dewey. Yeah, right. Yeah, that's right. But not as fast as I'm doing. He's not as fast, but he gives it as all 270 meters, 207 meters. Sorry, one line break, one line break assist to try three tackle breaks and incredible tri-saving tackle and dropped a lot less bombs than the other people back. Yeah, he probably would be a safer option back. Right. Try saving tackle on Will Warbrick. A couple of times at center, there was one where he got really caught out. Yeah, yeah. But they luckily didn't wrap a sort of scramble than that. They didn't. No, they didn't. But look, I thought it was real positive. And the other one I want to bring up and I know that he wasn't right in the teeth of the gal that they didn't even came on a bit later was Trey Mooney. Yeah. A lot of people, they get their re-sign and they go back a little bit, you know, the pressure's not on to perform. Not him. Come on, he makes 31 tackles, which in comparison to the other, we had five players he made over, you know, 39 and over. Right. Other week, it's amazing. But in his time, which was about half, what they did, 31 tackles and zero misses. Eight hit-ups for 80 meters. Yeah. Like I said to your teammates, it's easier to not miss tackles when you're in the middle and they're just big blokes running straight out here than everyone was missing tackles. He missed none out of 31. That's a very good ratio. He's a big upside. He's getting better and better and the bigger he gets, the more confidence he gets, the more of a weapon he's going to be because he's got a little leader all through him. He's a big unit. I saw him at one point up against Nelson the softest Salomona. And look, he's not as big as big as NAS, but you know, no one is. But he didn't look, he didn't look that small. No compared to it. He's a big unit. Yeah. He's good. But I still think if we're going to give the land speed records $10 raised review with Blake and the pork man of the match to it, personally, I'm voting for weeks if and nothing else that incredible turn of pace where he goes around the Salomona logo and it was brilliant. There's an argument for weeks, but you know, there's also like three drop bombs or whatever it was. There is. Adam Cook was probably my pick with an honorable mention to Tommy Starling just for his effort and his toughness and look, Tommy, you know, he has his limitations, but he's, he's, he's all effort and he's, he's in my best 17 one way or another every week. All right, let's flip the difference. So we'll give it to Tommy. Five dollars each. Now we'll give it to Tommy. There was his 100th game. Well, let's give it to Tommy. We're the thing saying to KO weeks, that was good. You know, oh, yeah. Catch the bomb, my friend. Catch the bomb. But keep running the ball back like you did because it is the sort of thing where it's exciting. Well, it is. And you don't want to wish this on someone, but someone's going to panic and hold an army and get themselves sent off. And that's sort of the way we might actually have a chance of winning matches. So, you know, I don't want you to be a crash destiny, Tommy, Mr. Weeks. I don't want you to be. But having said that, they'd have to catch him. They'd have to catch him first. We should have a look at, we should have a look at the teams. We should. We should. Okay. Well, the game's coming against the Knights. And once more, this isn't brought to you by anyone because no one has paid us off. Oh, we don't want any sponsors. Yeah, we do. If you're going to give us money, I have some on the on the benefactor. But you keep giving the money away to charity. Anyway, it's no fun. Oh, by the way, you go come out there to rugby league merch and get you if you hate Jordan Raff. And I hate you T-shirt, absolutely selling gangbusters and all the profits that we're making going straight to this is the mental league foundation. It's family league now, family league. But now it's men and bleeds more. Yeah, they do a great work and helping families and people around the game that are doing it tough. So yeah, buy a shirt, make a donation to them. And making it very clear, we here, raised through Blake and the Pork and Matt, actually aren't interested in really making the money. We just want to have a good laugh. And that's what that T-shirt's all about. Have a good laugh. Absolutely. Actually, there's another T-shirt. No, no, no. You've got to release the new T-shirt. Look out for it, people. It's funny. I liked it. I still think it needs a plastic chair on the backside, but more expensive to do backprints. Yeah, I know. But you can see where I'm going from. Yeah, you're a customer. You can get yours customized. Scotty at rugbyleaguemerch.com. If you want something, he'll do us some shirts. He doesn't. And what's more, the T-shirts are actually decent quality. They're heavy cotton. No, they're really good ones to grab. So they're going to last more than two washers. So at the back, we've got Kayo Weeks in the number one. On one one, we've got Jordan Rapin, on the other one, we've got Harvey Sivaj. In the centers, we've got Matt Timiko and Albert Hockawate. In the centers, in the hearts. Now, straighten your halves. For your halves. Matt Timiko has to be long lines to play. I think he does. And Pork. Yeah. Smoky. Is Sheila's going to come in for that spot. With a slight chance of Seb Chris making. Seb Chris. Yeah. So we don't really know if Seb Chris in the reshuffle that happened last weekend, if Seb Chris dropped. Or he picked up a knock. He definitely put him at training. Captain's run. Captain's run picked up a knock. Yeah. He was reaching for the remote in the hotel room. Well, he could do what I did one time when I was sitting on the bed trying to do it in my shoelaces. And I sneezed while twisting and put my back out. And then while trying to correct it, I dropped quite a big fart. And that finished it off. And I was completely crippled for the rest of the day. But that's what happens to men over 50. There's no right barcode. I wouldn't know. You wouldn't know. You wouldn't know. At least I made my free ability. And then Seb is savage. He's on the other wing. In the house. We've got even strange at six. We've got Adam Cookie. Actually, we're in the seven Jersey this week, Cookie. And he is so much of a blow in on the NRL app. He is just a black silhouette for all Cookie. Why are we going to call him Cookie Monster? Cookie Monster. Cookie. I don't know, Cookie. Our Cookie. In the front row, we got Papa Lee and Tarpone with Tommy Starling reprising, the man with the head, the head tape all around and more. He almost played the whole game. He almost played the whole game. So he played, I think, 68 minutes or something. And he, there was at one point when Matt Spann, Danny Levi came on the field. Tommy was just playing 13. Yeah. Well, he did a very good job. In the second row, we've got Huddah Young. We've got Elliot Whitehead and Captain Morgan Smith. He's in the 13 on the bench. Leave Eye Island. Once more, if you see Matt, if you have any leads for us, let us know. We're owners of Threading, reward offered. Adam Mary Otar, obviously past his concussion protocol because he's in the 15th, Trimini in the 16th and Simee Sasagi is coming to replace Jordan, the mullet from Naruma Marson who has got a cat one. So he's gone off. I've got a question for you. I've got a question for you. What does Hohepapoo have to do to get a game? Do not know. Do not know. It's one of the great mysteries. I really thought this, I thought this is the week. They're dropping like flies. Surely this is Hohepapoo's week to come in and play a bit of 13. And look, and he's been playing nine in Cup as well. Well, so that's only the last couple weeks they've played nine, which makes me think that they long term probably seem as having 14 utility value. And who said that? Having said that first. Now you said turning me to a nine full stop, but 14, 14, maybe like the modern day Saliva Habili, but yeah. Saliva is still playing in Afghanistan. I know, I know, I know, the podiatrist. Yeah, I love, I actually love Saliva Habili. I loved him too. I loved him too. But he just got more money and can see us and I'll let him go. They've had a bit of shuffle for the nights and some bloke like strawberry milkshakes has come back, a captain, Kalam Pongar, the number one jersey. And if any side can play a player back into full, it's the camper age. How do you know he's not in full? How do you know he's not in full? Well, he's been injured for ages then. They got an eric toilet in the two jersey. And on the other one, they got Greg Marzu, Radman best, who's back in full. Kalam Ponger plays his best games. When he plays a Queensland or he plays the Raiders. Yeah, that's right. How many times has he just had absolute blinders against us? Well, pretty much every time. We've taken on one in Wagga twice and he's ripped us a new one twice. Did he play, when we played them in round one, he was playing, but he was. Did he get injured in that match though? Did he go off like did you pick up a knock? Can't remember. We did beat them, but we played well in that match. They got Dame Gagai's the other centre. Then we got Will Price. Do you remember the days when we were talking about getting Will Price? He was talking him up and there was a link to Elliot. What? Because he's dad. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Did you see his dad being interviewed post-match? No, I did not see that. I think I know he's looking good. Well, I think it's only appropriate that Elliot should go and absolutely work him over in this match. Like just absolutely take him out in every way possible. Like just give him the real, welcome, welcome here son treatment. Then they got talking about people who needs a good welcoming. They got Jackson Hastings in there. You will note that that young man who usually plays number six that we don't like with the dreadful haircut came down from Brisbane. What the hell's his name? Oh, you know the guy. Even his teammates don't like him. Tyson Gamble. Tyson Gamble. The guy that did the said the Jack Walton beat him. Yeah. I mean, I only bit him a little bit. I think he really made a meal of it. I think he did too. Like, if he bitten him properly, give him how far the guy shut this up. Then he got soon to be right at Daniel Syafeti in the 8th jersey on one side with Leo Thompson. I still don't even know which one's which. Which one played for New South Wales? They both have Jack given Daniel. I don't know which one's which. Daniel's the senior of the two. Leo Thompson. Which one's better for the riders? Daniel. They're both good. Leo Thompson was the greatest sort of player. Then he got Jaden Braille in the centre. He's got some shops, but not according to you. I wouldn't pay $800,000 a year for him. I know we need a hookup, but I don't think he's the I wouldn't be throwing the bank at him. So there is Blake Smock for the week. So they get your money on Jaden Braille as an any time tri-scorer right now. I don't think he's barely played this year. He's barely played the last couple of years, I think. I don't think he's got a license for a cell, the old man, and then the young man, Kai Piers Paul in the second row. And then how we miss him? Number 13, three legs, Adam Elliot. Yeah. Good old three legs. The boy from Tathra. Great player. Love him. Wiss him. Have him back any time. Fletcher Sharp in the 14 liked what I've seen of this young lad. Liked a lot. Jacob Syafeti, Daniel's brother in the 15th jersey. Brody Jones, the well-grudential Brody Jones in the 16th. And then Dylan Lucas, who has been playing a little bit of, he's been playing second row, hasn't he? He's been good. He scored a few tries, I believe. Look, them getting ponger back and him playing one. They got their tails up. They faced a challenge last week from Parramatta, and they met that challenge and overcame it and ended up running out 34-26 winners. On the back of a couple of Brad and Bess, like the field intercepts. Good tries. Yeah, but they were good because they were having to catch up. Look, Bess puts it away and gets them out to the atmosphere in the ground. The crowd absolutely got them home. That's true, but Bess gets them out to the 28 points to 20, and it looks like they've won. And then Junior Palo scores on the 75th gets converted by Mitchell Moses, but then as they're going to see it and trying to get over the top of them and do whatever they could. And I think they probably could have got a penalty and taken the golden point. Well, you know, if you watched the game as well, that so after Brad and Bess scored one of those intercepts, then the eels took a short kick off and regathered the ball and never went 10. And then they regathered the ball and that was off that set. That's how I scored the try. Yeah, yeah. Look, but you know, let's say they're guessing, they're guessing. It's all over the top. They're guessing. That's what ricks this. I don't know, I think that's true. They're guessing. Look, but they put up a good account on themselves and it wasn't so long ago you would think and go, "Where's this side going?" You know, the nights, you know, they fall in the way. They're in a complete wreck. I've got bad news, Tim. I don't know if you know this, but Jared Sutton's the referee. This Sunday? No. Gary. No, Jerry Sutton's the referee. He's coming to camera. No, it's true. It's not. It's true. I wouldn't do that to us. I wouldn't do that to us. It's true. It isn't enough that he took the 2019 Grand Final Office by yelling out to Ben Cummins to reverse the decision. Isn't it bad enough that he did that? There was a fair bit of fuss made in certain sections of the media about the team allegedly getting booed at halftime in that game against the Cowboys. I think it was. They were booing Chris Sutton. That's what I thought. Certain they were booing Chris Sutton. People want to say they were booing the side, but they were booing the rest. Because the commentators, the commentators said, you know, "Oh, then listen to reception the team's getting," and then they've just cut straight back to the studio. And so it was implied that they were booing the players on the field. And the boos happened right on halftime. And then traditionally, if you're going to boo a team off the field, you wait until they're heading up the tunnel. And then you booed them. I thought they were booing the referee. No, no, look, but not that there was anything wrong with that referee performance in the game. I've been advised by my representation to make that effort to comment along those lines. So I can't respond to that. But both of you are on that tunnel. And from what I've heard from the two people, I know that was definitely aimed at the referee. My good mate, Nugget, right, who sits in the corner, and it's been well known for being one of the more colorful characters. His character is at camera stadium over the years, said it was 100% the referees. And I wouldn't doubt his word for a second. No, no, no. His solives are off. He can take his word to the bank. Absolutely. Absolutely. He's been the more games of Bruce than anyone. I know. And he's got more Raiders jerseys than anyone I know as well. So I'm going to take his word over anyone else's. Well, the nights have been going back. The nights have been on a run. So they beat Parramatta, like they had to do it. They didn't lose to the Panthers by two months in round 15, 1826. I think they made a good counter themselves. They only just lost to the storm down there. And I think controversially, then 3628. So they got points in them. So the last really bad loss they had was at home again in May and around 13, where the Bulldogs put 32 on them, you know, 32, too. For that, they accounted for the Titans only just up there. They accounted for the West Tigers. They beat the Warriors. They beat the Dolphins. They actually got flocked by the Bulldogs twice. So they don't like that. But their record isn't that bad. There's been a few floggings there that the Bulldogs would have parked from that. They kept the games close. When they've lost, they haven't lost by much with the exception of round one against us, where they lost by, you know, 16. And the two match that the doggies apart from that, they've all been close results all day for one. So, you know, give them Carl and Pong it back, settle aside with their tails up and, you know, we're at home, we're at record this season. Well, they've done dismal. Oh, it's, it's, it's horrific. It is. I hope, I hope the team is not staying in the bipartale again. It's the Eagle Hawk or bust. Is the Eagle Hawk a sponsor of the Camberators? Is the vibe of sponsor of the Camberators? Of course, they're a sponsor of the Camberators. How do you know for the guys? You know, so therefore, they are, we support them. And it's a great place to stay. It's not so much where they were staying. It's the attitude to which they took when they were staying. No, it's the environment. It's the environment. They need to stay at somewhere tough like the Eagle Hawk. The vibe I tell man, it's like, it's too up market is what you're saying. No, it's too steady for them. It's so well appointed with fantastic service. They were taking these. Is, is there a TAB inside, inside the bipartale? No, there's not, but there is one at the Eagle Hawk. Case closed, Your Honor. Well, look, I'll have words to people of the club going, going to the Eagle Hawk. But, you know, look, the issue is we've got to, we've got to turn this thing around. The only match I can think that we've won, this parameter, is, parameter Titans. Yeah, we beat the Titans just. And the Tiger Matter by a lot. And, Tigers, that's the only three I can think of the Tigers. And then since that point, we've lost everything, you know, at home. We got flogged by the sharks, flogged by the sharks, annihilated by the roosters via here. But, Lisa, you know, humiliated by the cowboys, humiliated by the cowboys. And so, we're coming back now for the next one at a row. You know, what can we do against the Kennegets? There are the $64 to win this one away. When was the last time that they would have been the favorites going to Game Against Us when we were in the final last year? Oh, the final last year. Oh, no. Out of our home. Oh, God knows. Yeah. Probably when Joey Johns was playing, you'd imagine. You'd think so, wouldn't you? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's been a long time. It's been a long time. Look, we've actually got to get out there and says the blokey won't be there. I'll be down in Melbourne. We've got to get out there. Yeah, following another code. Your turn, Kate? Yeah. Yeah. That's very, very true. But look, once more showing our pooling power, because, you know, we are, you know, the podcast, formerly known as the third most popular Raiders podcast, once more black. I believe you've gone out and had success and got all the winscreens again. Is that right? Well, I popular demand. I mean, he's one of the most requested guests. You know, we've had on the show. People say, when's he coming back? Well, here he is, folks. Yeah, good day. It's Newcastle Mites, head coach Adam. Don't you know who I am, winscreens, O'Brien. Yeah, great to be back on again. Yeah, just really looking forward to the Joel Edwards Cup on Sunday. He was a great servant to both clubs and it's about time. The great man was immortalized. Hopefully, we can get a bit of revenge for what he did to us up at our place in round one. And the reality is, you know, for our guys, that was about 15 halves combinations ago. I can't even remember who we had playing six and seven for us at night. For all I know, it was a couple of little drunks I plucked out of the muscle broker or cell club, but we got real price here at six now. He was great last week. But yeah, we'll give him three or four weeks and he fully shoots the bed. I'll be fucking him off as well. Don't worry about that. We've got kaolin back for this one. You know, a couple of strikes there, bravin best, dang gay guy. But yeah, apart from that, there's not a lot else doing. I mean, bench is dog shit. I mean, fours aren't great, but I mean, let's be honest, you blokes aren't exactly pulling up trees yourselves. So I just had them his fortune of sitting through your game against the storm last week and fuck me, what a panty shot was. Talk about putting it in some, the act, that's a sweet man. That was a tough gal in that first office. So they both saw just struggling a bit. It's probably going to be a shit game. But I think there'll be a bit of field now, some goals on each team that, you know, applied for both clubs that should add to it a bit. So both clubs around each other on the ladder. So it's important one, and you know, the best to get the chockeys. I can't wait, boys, I'm pumped. So yeah, I bring that shit on. Well, once more, you know, we come through with goods, we get the exclusive from, you know, the opposition coach, you know, who are the podcast gets this sort of access? None. Now it's time, nothing, nothing outside of the major networks. No, that's right. But we get it, because, you know, they know us. They know we've got credit, you know, gravitas. We have gravitas. That's what everyone says. But now it's time for the most popular signal on the show. The extended badge is on the extended badge. I thought we'd, I thought we'd done it already. No, we haven't. We haven't. We've done or smokey. But in 18, we've got Seb Chris, you know, picked up a knock last week. We've got Zach Wolford in 19. We've got Emory Galmer in 20. We've got Jimmy Sheila, who's poor, smokey, to come onto the bench and come into the store. Emory links to the Bulldogs during the week. Really? There you go. I don't think, I don't think he'll be at the club next year. By 99% sure he won't be at the club next year. Well, look, like I said, it all took a man who comes, then I won't be surprised about that either. Straight swap. He's, Emory is on about 800, isn't he? A little bit less. Well, I couldn't comment one way or the other about it. He's, he's money's business between him and the club. But like I said last week, I think when you ask for a release, it's a pretty fair indication that there's interest elsewhere. I'm sure no other club, you know, has broken the anti-campering rules by offering, putting a contract in front of him to sign. But there's been some pretty clear indications that either Bulldogs or South Sydney where he was at actually previously. Yeah. As a junior, we'll be interested in having him. Well, you know, if his dad was walking down the street, you know, punch bowl at Kenba, someone happened to say, "Oh, what's Emory doing now?" I'd be lovely to see him in the jersey. You know, that's, that's very, it's not tampering. That's just a conversation. And they wouldn't have to wait. They could actually go into the kebab shop. Yeah, there's some good kebab show here, my friends. You want kebab. No, no, his, his family. I'll do that. Yeah. What's up, brothers? Really? You guys heard about that? No, no, I haven't. Do I stop on the way back from Sydney Games in the bus? No, I love me kebab. Ask, ask any part, like, just tell you what's about there. Look, 22 makes up our bench with her hepapura. Again, like the sooner we see him in a much lower number in the first team will suit me. For them, they've got 18 as Matt Croker. 19 is Jack Heatherington. What's the brain explosion now, Jack? Yeah, and apparently one of the players, one of the three players, they want to move on. Yeah, right. Yeah, because it's the brain explosion. So I don't think he's, I don't think he's delivered a lot of value for money. Well, then they've got Jack Cogger in the 20th. They've got the Mapapolangi in the 21th. And then Thomas Can't in the 20th. Unfortunately, no, no. Well, yes, he either means he won't be able to do it or I don't know, look, yeah. Quite frankly, there is a lot more first grade players, first grade games in the Raiders extended bench. What's what's right, Jimmy Schiller? They've all played first grade games, right? So there's grand finals. Yeah, that you've just got to give it. You've just got to give this one to the Raiders. But pork smoke you there is Jimmy Schiller coming into the sanders. But if not that, if a puller coming onto the extended, coming onto the actual bench in place of Sydney, so I reckon, I wonder if, yeah, we don't think Matt Tivikaze got me right, because he did his shoulder. And then why's he keeps going, he keeps bringing up. Oh, I looked horrible when he stuck his arm out in the water. And they say, I want to pass this pass that, you know, when a bloke's in pain. And he was definitely in pain. So look, I, I give the extended bench to the Raiders on that one, which is good, because we needed it too. Just want by, by how many hardwigs by half hardwick or? Oh, no, full hardwick. Oh, we're a full hardwick better. Yeah, nice. I've fought a full hardwick, but now it's time for us to discuss. Okay, for me, it's the entire back three. And it's in terms of catching bombs. So like you said, if we're going to just constantly drop bombs, well, pretty, pretty simple way to beat the Raiders, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. Put up a bomb. Put up a bomb and they'll drop the ball 10 metres out and you know, you'll score. And everyone's so involved to go and test the kicks, because they know they have like got this 75% chance of getting the ball. You know, it's crazy. The more we drop them, the more they're emboldened. So yeah, look, I think yeah, definitely they've got to take those, those kicks. And if they can't, then maybe get Albert Hoppe one day back there, because he's been so good taking those, those bombs there. Look for mine, even said Chris was actually a lot safer than I will. Yeah, well, he's picked up a knock. Yeah. And I don't know, in attack, obviously, you know, Kaya weeks off is so much more. I know there's sort of, you know, people sort of have scenarios. And you do see it from time to time in games where someone will go to fall back when we have the ball and someone else will be at the full back when we don't have the ball. That's a possibility. But I think you've got to sort of lock in you, you fall back. A lot of people too, actually were calling for Chevy Stewart, maybe come in this week. But I think he's still, I think he's still got a little way to go. Yeah, he just needs, look, given the rest of this season, at very least, in which he can get used to it, because we see it's there. Let's not rush him in getting smashed around. Look, we almost lost half a year doing that. Yeah. Let's not do that. Let's not make that a mistake here. Look, my who's got to lift. And this is said with the greatest of love, because I say it in respect to the plug, who can make the difference and take us from hard efforts to actually winning matches. Dr. Strange, keep backing yourself, Dr. Strange, lift, get through those lines, score those tries and set them up. I see greatness in that kid. I really do. Undoubtedly, there is greatness in him, but he's, you know, he's young and you're going to, you know, absolutely. He is young. But I still believe that if he can lift just that, extra cog and make those breaks that score the tries, it will be the difference between us being a struggling side who, you know, hangs on with effort to being a side that wins matches, because I think he's, but he has, as a young player, he's played every game this year. Oh, he's been, you know, he's been, you know, he's, he's had, he's had, he's had far more good games than bad games. He looked after our game against the Tigers, you know, a camel town, Locky Galvin's stock suddenly had rocketed right up. And then did you see how he went against Maristas on the weekend? You know, it's, they're going to be inconsistent these young guys, and I don't want to over-hype them so that one week they're the greatest team in the next week. Oh, gee, he was no good this week. No, no, no, no. Look, he's long-term prospect, and I haven't been angry with him at all. What I'm saying is keep going, because he's not far off. You can see it. He's so close all the time from making the breakthrough that line where he's got them at six and seven of scores. He just needs to get that little bit more blood, you know, in his nose. It's interesting he has gone back, though, to the right, because it did look prior to the, the, the Hudson combination on the left. Was looking good. Was looking good. And, you know, playing with Elliot, Elliot's got some craftiness, but he's a bit of different sort of role. Having someone for strange to pass to that hits the line in that way and can run a line and change angle until the last minute. If he's got that, it makes him doubly dangerous, because how do they cover both of them at the same time? But look, Elliot scores a few tries. No, he's been good. He's been very good. But look, I generally believe this, this season, we can still make finals, and we can still do stuff in the finals. And even strange release for me is a key, because I can see so much in attack and defense, but particularly in attack, he can spark things where everything else might not look, be looking like great in the back line moves. He can spark something himself. And if they follow him, you know, anything can happen. Anything can happen. But we've got merch, right? We do. We kind of discussed it already. We did the, there's a new shot coming. Very exciting new shirt. There's, we're very excited down here. Yeah. Stay tuned. And there's still some, there's still a handful of Raiders by 56 beanies left. You notice how there's been a handful of Raiders by 56 beanies left for most of this season? That has been, you can fit quite a few in your hands. So just getting a smaller, and there's still some stickers as well. Oh yeah, everyone wants the stickers. Yeah. It's all the hearing from the kids. Yeah. It's all you hear. Whatever platform you're listening to is on, subscribe, rate, review, you won't miss an episode. We'll appreciate it. And yeah, we've got to be awesome. But look, we haven't done a listener the week for quite a while because we couldn't be asked. The accent segment. Yeah, we did accent assessment. But look, I just want a special call out here. And, and to Lampus Troutman who through thick and thin supports us. And we just want to know, we appreciate you, Lampus. We appreciate you. It is. It is. Even when we're wrong, even when we're dicks, even when we should have shut our mouths, you're still on our sides, even when we do that sort of stuff, because you understand that we just don't know what we're doing. Through thick and thin, you know, through thick and thin. So next week, coming up, we have the buy. So that's when Matt will be back. Matt will be so happy about the buy. Yeah. And reasons to be cheerful. Hopefully after that buy, we may well see Jamar Fogarty and say Costing's return to the side. But we're going to do a biowake, another biowake special. His last biowake special was pretty good. We had a special guest. So I'm just lining up. I've got a couple of special guests in the pipeline. So we'll definitely have one. But I just want to say 100% who it is in case, you know, it doesn't come to fruition. But it'll be someone from the inner sanctum with some interesting insights for us once again. No, no, that'll be absolutely fantastic next week. And then after the buy, we have the Warriors at GAS Stadium on Friday, the 19th. That's an 8pm match, not the 6pm, not the COVID and 6pm, but the 8pm match. And then around 21, Sunday 28th of July is versus South at 615, where we can just one return returns with, of course, South Sydney now in form. So that'll be fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Look, you have been listening to the podcast, formally known as the third most popular Raiders podcast on the Internet Raiders Review, Blake and The Pork and Matt. I'm The Pork. I'm Blake. And once more, we have no idea where Matt is. If you see him, let us know. There's a reward offered, own as a fretting. But until next week, we'll talk against it. We're just on the wrong side of the guessing game again. They're just guessing. Those six against, I just guess. Oh, do you want to wait here or do you want to wait there?
