Norman Bowie, A Kantian Approach To Business Ethics - Organizations As Moral Communities
This lecture discusses key ideas from the 20th Century philosopher Norman Bowie's article "A Kantian Approach To Business Ethics"
It focuses specifically on his discussion of the third formulation of Immanuel Kant's categorical imperative, which deals with the kingdom of ends. He applies this to business organizations and companies and draws out some of the implications of applying Kant's ideas for the workplace and decision-making.
