Episode 178 - Peace is when I’m out there running - Michael Jr Rowcroft

Just a year ago 22 year old Michael Rowcroft was on drugs and homeless!   Luckily he found his way into rehab (Tumbelin farm) and there he discovered running!  Michael has since run a couple of trail ultras and has decided to challenge himself with a very long run as a charity event to raise funds for Tumbelin farm!  He plans in April to run a fastest Known Time (FKT) on the Lavender Federation Trail which is 325km starting in Murray Bridge going to Clare, South Australia!  If you can support this young man to complete this challenge and raise funds and awareness of this fantastic service that would be amazing - here is the fundraising page: https://gofund.me/6683ff0d A promo video for the challenge - https://youtu.be/4wPPqD2gDmoMichael finds that running helps him to quieten his thoughts and ultimately find peace and serenity - he can’t imagine not running now! Michael’s Tips - choose a distance and then run/walk, find your groove and get a decent pair of sneakers and blister socks.  Remember that in trail running its not about coming first. https://fitmindfitbody.co/podcast/
