The FitMIND FitBODY Podcast

Episode 120 - Running is my antidepressant - as long as I run I’m happy :)

In this episode we talk to Felicity Hoy about her running journey.  In her early 20s it was the idea that she might join the police force that actually got her running, even though she didn’t become a policewomen she did keep running!  She found that running was her happy place and as she ran longer and longer events, she was also quite good at it. Felicity credits running with all the good things in her life including overcoming an eating disorder and meeting her husband (and all the things that came after that :) ).   The independence, self reliance and empowerment that running provides Felicity flows into the rest of her life when she’s working with her husband and raising their 2 young boys.   Felicity’s Running Tips - couch to 5k, don’t compare to other people or your old self, run for the fun of it and don’t quit (be consistent) . https://fitmindfitbody.co/podcast/
