Episode 100 - The drive it takes to reach the top…

24 year old professional middle distance track runner, Matthew Ramsden is our guest on the podcast today.  He was born in South Africa, lived in New Zealand for a bit as a child and then moved to Western Australia when he was 9.  Matt shares the drive that it takes to reach and run at the top.  He is also about to finished a law degree, so he is a multi-talent bloke :)  His running goal this year is to make the Commonwealth Games and be in the top 5!   “When you jog on your own you think more deeply about things.”  ~ Matt Ramsden ~ Matt’s Running Tips - Start easy and make sure you’re enjoying it.  When you’re just starting, try twenty minutes of one minute run/one minute walk.  And start with a lower heart rate and try and keep it down, this will help prevent you from over doing it to begin with.
