G'day friends, it's BlisterGuide and this is episode LEAT of Walk to Work and Mobile Master in Podcast, the first day in Paradise. Now if you got that reference there, the LEAT the 1337, it's time to take you back pain medication for the day. I'll explain it in a moment if you don't. Yes, 1337, first day in Paradise, we've got the expansion in live yesterday and all that stuff. I've just realised looking at my phone, that I didn't do a patron thank you yesterday when I recorded the episode. That's a terrible podcaster. So we're going to thank, first of all, Drimsdale, thank you Drimsdale for the support and then also King of Garai. I think I pronounced that right. I almost never do, right? I'll get it right one day, maybe, maybe if we're lucky, but perhaps also not. Anyway, LEAT. So back in the early days of the internet, we used to say, you know, and I've had fun trying to explain this to my daughter as well, emojis didn't used to exist. Like we had to make them with text, ASCII stuff. And then also people would be trying to be cool by replacing letters with numbers that were similar. And you could spell elite sort of. But with, let's see, it was 3, 1, 3, 7, 1, I think. No, no, I had to be in the, anyway, but if you spelled it L-E-E-T is in short for elite, it was 1337. And so you'd be like, yeah, I'm totally elite. And you'd type 1337. So the funny thing here is that weeks ago, I think, someone said, we're coming up to episode 1337. Are you ready for it? Have you prepared for it? I said, not yet, but I've got tons of time. And last night and around, help us 10, because on expansion release day, right, you want to play a lot of Hearthstone? And I spent 90 minutes assembling the most convoluted flat pack I've ever seen. I don't understand. So I didn't get to play very much last night. I did play some. But anyway, as late as I was preparing the episode, I saw the episode number. I was like, oh, oh, no, I'm not prepared at all. Whoops. So that's a bit unfortunate, but never mind. So, no, I'm not prepared for this. I wasn't two weeks ago. I thought I would be and then still wasn't. So never mind. I'm just realizing I'm holding the recording device without the cover on it. You don't have to cover on it. Oh, well, anyway. So first day in paradise, what we do yesterday, I had work obviously. I probably didn't do as much work as I should have, but also I did still have to do some work. So I didn't get to play very much. I know some people played a lot, which is cool. I opened the rest of my packs. Now, this is interesting. As we heard on the episode yesterday, my golden pack pity timer as it were, that's not a good word for it. But, you know, once you've opened 10 packs of the first pack of an expansion, you're guaranteed to get a legend or if you haven't already, as opposed to the usual, which is like on average, every 20 packs. But if you've been unlucky, it'll at least pop on by 40, that kind of thing. So we went fully to 10 with the golden packs. I think overall, my golden pack opening after that wasn't too bad. It's really hard to look at the regular pack opening though when you can use mass pack opening. Like I used to account how long it was between each one measure the timers. And it may just be observation by us. Also, I've just dropped mongers to school obviously and I'm about to cross them right away. But I'm sure you would have figured that out from the sound. At least we don't have the loud road works right under us. Although it kind of sounds like they're there, that is not a check-out ring today. Okay, good. Anyway, when I was like, oh yes. So I used to measure the timers. I think observation by us perhaps. But I had observed a thing where if you have too many timers that go long, that you start getting short ones to make up for it. So I think there is an overall rather banding thing to keep you on average over a longer period of time, which doesn't surprise me. It seems like the kind of thing they would code in. Like the timer isn't just hit legendary reset to 0 if hit 40 go again. Like I think there is some kind of larger thing there. And when you hear the team five talk about how MMR is more complicated when people think it wouldn't surprise me if the way pack timers work is more complicated than people think as well. So mass pack opening means it's really hard to pay attention to that because you don't know what number it is to pack you up in a legendary. I opened my first pack of 40 yesterday and I was like, okay, so I got two legendaries. That's one on the first 10 and then one on the next 30. That seems like worse odds. Then I opened the rest of my packs off here and I can't remember having their god. I could probably look it up, but it just doesn't really matter anymore, I think. So far I've opened a bunch of packs. I have almost everything from the set except for Insendius, which is apparently kind of cool and fun although I don't know how competitive it is. That's okay. I'm sure I'll get it in no time. I'll be coming up on another free legendary on the rewards track before long. Mostly I just want to get to the golden marron because then I can stop having a non-golden marron in my deck. Anyway, overall my pack companies were fine. One thing that was frustrating me was like I opened a bunch of packs earlier in the day and I wanted to open some more later that evening when I had the opportunity to get one of the bundles. But under the stars, sleep under the stars or whatever the seven mana epic druid spellers. It's one of the last epics made open, either copy of. It wasn't the last, the natural talent or whatever the shaman one was the exact last. But second and third to last were the two sleep under the stars and I was like oh well I'm down to like four or five epics left and I still haven't opened two sleep under the stars and I do kind of want them in golden. So let's just wait until I get paid tonight and I can spend my pocket money on the golden pack bundle and that'll get me what I need. And so I did and I got the sleep under the stars although not before I got the other two epics I didn't have which were like some death knight thing. I can't remember what it's called but it took and I got those two first and I was like oh really and then you know then I got the sleep under the stars and then it was fine. So that's all good. So I've got almost everything I need. I have played a little bit of druid but not much. Mostly yesterday I experimented with playing fatigue demon hunter. So I mentioned yesterday that I opened a rounder well was given a rounder trailblazer. No thrill seeker that's what she's called as my bundle signature. And so I tried the fatigue demon hunter that Vicious Syndicate had theory crafted. I saw Clark Alscream was playing a different version as well so I tried that. It's a terrible deck. It really is like the first game I played it was going so poorly. I was like there's no way I'm winning this at all and then I won. And I was like oh okay the second game I played my opponent was a warrior splashing druid because they coined out U Horizons on turn two and then I can't remember what they did on turn three but turn four I think they had ham. So it might have been trail mix they did and ham ate my orana while there are other minions in the deck and I was like oh okay now I can't win. The combo there by the way is that orana is a five mana five six that says whatever you take damage during your turn redirect it to an enemy. And so the plan is you just draw a lot of cards while clearing the board a lot you can play a runner at some point. They'll probably kill it then there's some pre-spell which is resum your highest cost minion that's died this game where both players do and so that's three mana to bring back your orana and then basically you're in fatigue and you just go I'm going to draw a ton of cards and fatigue okay thanks and then orana just does a whole bunch of damage to everything in play and their face. So you can't do anything without a runner. So ham eating the orana despite there being a bunch of other minions in the deck well then might next game. Then I played another game I was like no this deck really is terrible it's not going well oh I won again okay weird and then I cued into a few control warriors who are running un-kiliacs and you know look I understand how the deck can beat that it maybe but it just really can't so I didn't win those but it was still fun to be playing with it was especially fun to go I'm losing there's no way I can win oh one okay so that was neat. After that I played some dragon druid because I had that that was like a druid list that could run it didn't run sleep under the stars and that seemed quite good as well. I'm trying to think what else I did I tried playing some rainbow death knight it didn't work very well. Overall the meta people trying how much things there's a lot of sentiment around un-kiliacs being terrible for the meta like warrior now being able to bring back more un-kiliacs than ever thanks to hydration station just seems like a point of like oh everyone. The lamplighter rogue I touched on briefly yesterday we saw in Thralleman playing it that apparently is actually quite good and as you can see from the graphic we're going to play it today to try it out. I have played against it I've lost to it a couple of times I've also beaten it and like the draw on which I beat it it just seemed like it didn't draw the lamplighter and that probably is going to be the key like if you look at the list it has some card drawing but it doesn't have anything that specifically tutors for lamplighter so like it's kind of awkward to make work but when it works it works and it's one of those things where it can just kill someone over the top of un-kiliacs if it needs to well as long as I can do it all in the turn before the un-kiliacs just get to do things but that's a different story. I really think that deck is hard mulliganing for the lamplighter and just trying to play as many garbage elementals in a row as it can before it starts comboing off. Pirate demon hunter apparently is quite good I assume it's flashing for priest if I remember correctly so that's a way I could be running around in a less combo centric manner which I haven't tried yet and that's apparently doing quite a ride as well. The mage paladin combo decks the paladin rogue combo decks people have been playing them but they also don't seem as strong as people feared they would be. The druid mage combo deck with concierge doesn't seem as strong as people thought which is not surprising good aggro decks will punish that kind of thing and not to mention like lamplighter being a kind of like a combo ceiling as well like if it can just kill you by turn seven you've got to be able to kill them by turn seven and it's going to be pressuring you so I don't know so overall that's kind of what it looks like I think people are really not liking the fact that control warrior is still good and the fact that it has even more unkiliaxes than ever I don't know if ziliax needs another nerf for power level reasons but I think it kind of does for sentiment reasons and I suspect the key thing that's I know causing grievances to borrow vicious syndicate term is the the virus module again. Do you make it more expensive? I think you could make it more expensive and I think that wouldn't change very much because it'd just be slightly more expensive but then you'd still end up in the same position which is like oh there's a wall of them and I can't deal with them or you can't really change the perfect module I thought maybe you could but then I thought about it's like no that's what the original ziliax did so you can't really remove lifestyle from it but you can make the module smaller without removing the abilities and the virus ziliax you can move remove things like reborn I think reborn is very very very much carrying a lot of weight there and so is elusive elusive is probably the biggest pain point because even an aggro deck if it's not elusive can technically try to deal with the elusive unkiliax whereas if it's elusive you've got to trade into it which means they're definitely healing which means but I also think quite an effective enough would just be to make it less attack like unkiliax having four attack is it adds up right again four and again four also I gained four if that was I gained three and I gained three and I gained three like nine is a lot less than 12 right like it starts to to compile uh compound anyway I think that that's the kind of thing that might see a nerf early on although I believe the plan is not to nerf that earliest to see how things shake down which will be interesting because a lamp lighter looks like it might be like a hard cap on what people can do unless they're going to be gaining a whole bunch of armor and stuff to survive it I don't know oh that's the other thing I played yesterday I played some excavate rogue I remember now I saw an excavate rogue list that had both the rogue legendaries so it had maestra and having maestra meant you could play the party do I don't know what it is the one mana one one that summons two more one ones the thing that I said was like a kind of worst flame it may be a better flame it apparently just running that rogue is really solid and so that was enjoyable I worked that it was fun without I played a version I saw that had your door in at first discovered a couple of treasures once um it was cool then I saw another version without your door and I had grifted I was like I think grifted might just be better and I played grifter a couple of times I played grifter in the um fatigue demon hunter as well that was fun uh the excavate rogue gave me some truly bonkers games that I did not expect there was a game where yeah I played frostlets jana which is the old school mage hero card and then test grey mane and repeating whole bunch of stuff and that was a game where I managed to outlast and beat a Reno priest who had played a lease of the badlands that's the five five that summons whole bunch of five five in the decks like three times they played creation protocol uh forged to get two copies of it and then played another one later and I managed to battle through each one of those even though two of them had found amontals and yogs like it was I think there was a yog in each one actually but I managed to get through them all somehow it was it felt truly absurd uh also I think in that game no there was a different game against demon hunter no death knight sorry where I had oh that's right what did they do it was mosh pit they had somehow had a mosh pit and they played they activated no this was an arena oh my goodness so I'm already getting confused I played about a arena yesterday as well I didn't play as much as many people but I did play more than I thought I would because I stayed up late I stayed up late I'm not gonna lie I stayed up late expansion day good games I also enjoyed watching hat stream I played some arena I opponent and arena played Eliza Goreblade which is the new legendary death knight minion that when it dies gives you minions plus one takes the rest of the game and they activated mosh pit on it to give a reborn I was like oh so unfair I'm gonna lose and I remember complaining about it in chat and and uh ridiculous hat stream and so I was like well did you lose I'm like well I haven't yet but I think I will and then a bit later somehow I was able to play factory assembly bot on an empty board and I was like oh apparently actually I'm gonna win and so I did anyway the yogg games with excavate rogue there was one where I played yogg activated it and it played at eat the imp one of my reveal cards on the yogg I thought was pretty funny I feel like I lost that game I can't remember why some games you don't win right but just the absurd game where I won against the priest was just hilarious so much fun it has been a fun expansion day like I don't want to say mired by unkili X unkili X is what it is and it would be perhaps good for a lot of people sentiment if it wasn't as good as it was I do feel like it's the it's the thing that's kind of keeping warrior afloat right now if you were to make zili X worse to the point where it's not really worth playing hydration station in warrior to be bringing it back I'm not entirely sure what warrior does anymore is it going back to like boom boss throw ground which to be fair is a reveal card of mine haha I don't know like but right now what it does is it does unkili X and all manner of other taunts are just not worth trying because unkili X is better so I don't know we shall see but overall like I think it's been a pretty positive launch day there's not been any bugs that seems any game breaking bugs I think there probably are a few little bugs I think there are versions of amalgam that can crash things ridiculous that was playing a whole bunch of people's different decks including one that was a hunter amalgam deck with always a bigger jaw monger oh yeah that's another one of my reveal cards I guess when they give you like five cards per expansion to reveal like what is there well we started with the festival festival yeah all right so at this point if we had four or five cards per expansion or to the fifth expansion of the year we've done that like there's over 20 cards in standard that that had been revealed by my daughter and I hadn't thought about that that's really cool anyway um always a bigger jaw monger is the one where you attack a minion and the XX damages out to the hero's face uh and doesn't hit the neighboring I mean maybe they had a way of making it cleave I don't remember but uh ridiculous hat missed lethal because he didn't think of playing uh Leroy Jenkins and then the adaptable amalgam on adaptive amalgam no maybe that's not what it's called anyway I think it is a amalgam and then it would have always a bigger jaw monger into one of the one ones from Leroy and that would have given him lethal and he missed it and then the priest summoned unkili XX next to me he's like well I guess we don't win now shame but like a lot of cool things that people are trying which is always gonna be what happens with expansion day and that's cool and that's fun anyway I think it's time for me to get into the game and try out this lamp lighter rogue now one of the reasons for this and I've touched on this let's just unmute the phone turn the volume up while we open it up one of the reasons for playing it here because I don't think it's necessarily the kind of dick I like playing it's a very one note combo thing it is a lot like a shock spitter rogue from whenever it was a thing or hunted it was hunted wasn't a shock spitter hunter hunter had a lot of ways of getting it back and playing it in um it's one of those decks where it's very one note in what it does it's fun to one with it oh hey arth I had the volume up higher than I thought um and then but it's also a little dry to play because after a while you just like okay but I'm bored of this now and lamp lighter rogue will be like that but I think there is some things to know about it nobody can just pick the stick up and expect to succeed with it I think you have to know what you're doing and I think step one is probably hard mulliganic for lamp lighter and if you have lamp lighter mulliganic everything else for elementals everything else is designed to bounce lamp lighter or to draw more cards but it's not going to do very much for you if it breaks the element to change so lamp lighter is it's like a three-minute three-two deal damage it says deal one damage improved for each turn before this you played an elemental so if you played elements with four turns in a row and then on the fifth turn you play lamp lighter it's going to deal five damage and so that's obviously pretty good if you do it and then show to step it and do it again if you play son your water dancer a shadow step it then play the lamp lighter as a one-man lamp lighter you're getting another lamp lighter hand that's going to add up really quickly and also five damage is not what you aim for you want like seven damage right we saw and throw them and do seven damage with it so the key is lamp lighter if you don't draw a lamp lighter you're just a bad elemental beatdown deck which is not actually very good if you don't keep enough elementals then you're going to be playing some elementals then breaking the chain if you want to get up seven like you kind of need to be playing up to like turn seven or eight and an elemental every single turn to get there so I think the mulligan is really difficult to pull off and there are going to be times when you're playing this you're like well I missed on an elemental on turn one am I now only doing five damage on turn six or something like is this actually going to be good enough and then you start having to worry about how much scrappy extra damage you're getting from your minions attacking are you actually having to trade things to survive it's not going to be as easy to do as it sounds so I think the important thing here is that we play the deck and we see what a fail state looks like I'm not going to say that I'm going to lose on purpose but I bet it's going to be harder than it sounds because it always when you lose to a deck like this it feels unbeatable it feels it just does what it wants every single time and the times you don't remember the times where they didn't get what they needed you're only remember the times where they lamp lighter you in the face repeatedly which has happened to me so I think it's going to be important to play this deck to see how it goes where are we we're wild oh yes I played some pretty oh my gosh before we even get started I played an absurd game of wild last night trying my spell demon hunter deck with the parachutes the sigil of skydiving I'm not a hundred percent better convinced that it is better than a taste of chaos but it is a new card so I'm sitting with it I played against a Reno an excel Reno druid last night so they're starting on 40 health on turn two they played a plate plated evidence no buried it no planted evidence that's the one it's the one mana spell that discovers an age spell and if you play it let's turn across two layers they discovered a tree of life so they did some ramping I got them down very low they played tree of life which restores all characters to full health okay then a bit later I get them down very low they play Reno Jackson we're starting into full health okay so I do like another 20 damage to them in the next turn while also removing Reno because I did keep kurtress demon render in my opening hand which is the hero card knowing that having a hero power that was repeatable every time a minion attacked and having since look I don't think I was going to get lots of damage like when the Reno came down it was like whatever the warband spell is that does four damage in someone's four one lines of rush like I was just cracking back for 20 and flaring the Reno and stuff every turn and then they after the Reno they played the bitterness flute which is the four mana three four that copies the last minion you played so that's a second Reno so basically they healed to fall three times and still we killed them with spelled even hunter so that felt amazing probably not for the opponent dude for me anyway we're changing out of wilds I'm back into standard uh where are we I love lamp is what I call the deck I'm apparently platinum seven now instead it's up to a bit of climbing I'm gold five still in wild to make sense but overall things can be better I did fall to back to diamond five and and twist because it's like trying to clear some cliffs yesterday half that is going to be I was not focused at all because I was actually still trying to work and things but still quest we cleared rewards track was a traversed good times anyway let's queue up I love lamp and see how we go with this we don't have incentives in the deck which we heard yesterday enthrall among saying he put in and was really enjoying we don't have incentives in the deck because we haven't opened it one car they haven't got get a point out you'll be all good here we go I think it's in this is a neat addition because you like if I didn't get my lambladder maybe I get that that's us that's a warrior you still they want pressure pretty much so maybe we can just get a lot of damage in the light game we should see we have an opening hand with a breakdance a task line and a preparation how many of those a lamp lighter not one one of them is an elemental but it doesn't mean very much or does it it's a one minor elemental if I mulligan the other two cards away and we know that as a warrior we may just draw into what we need when we need it I still think we hard mulligan I think at this point something like neck and neck shack is actually probably better because that'll draw us a lot of cards and we'll get that uncertainty but it's just hard mulligan probably the correct thing the key thing we got all gavel here is that they're going to go ban it gain a bunch of armor and it might make us hard for them to kill them we got back dig for treasure shadow step and zilly axe now this is a perfect ticking zilly axe first thing we drew was shale spider this is a two-mana three-two spider battle crafty played an elemental last turn draw a card turn one we're playing dig for treasure which is not an elemental a juris Sonia water dancer good card are we really playing a shale spider next turn without an elemental before it there's a razor fin rock star there's a quick pick so we could play we could play an elemental that's not going to draw us a card to turn or play the quick pick and just go face with it which I think it's what we're doing razor fin rock star is a one-mana one three whenever they gain armor they gain an additional two on that's going to be bad for us so we do want to take it off the board but also priority one is drawing cards but so far we're up turn three without having played an elemental year they're forging a card they could have gained forearm with this turn they didn't find by me great there's a firefly so we're going to attack with a quick pick face draws another card it's a neck neck check I want to play the neck neck check this turn but that would mean that we are behind on the elemental chain let's play a firefly and then dagger up so what do we have in hand now we've got a shadow step shadow steps quite good with the firefly because it just gives you endless uh elementals to keep chaining but neck neck check we'll play it next turn on foremana along with the flame elemental that's a second elemental in the road they turn after that we're going to use neck neck check which is the three mana three three location draw card and if you play it reopen it and we're going to hopefully chain through a lot of drawers to do that so razor fin rock star they they armored up this time so it's time to gain fore armor we go face with that flame elemental we'll play for that dagger we play neck neck check we play flame elementals and now we're up to two elementals in a row the shadow step i had in my hand that i said would be good with the flame elemental fire elemental if i want to keep repeating elemental draws we got to save that for a shadow step here especially given we have saw in your shadow dancer do you have to play the lamp lighter and then a one mana lamp lighter after shadow step you're getting an extra lamp lighter like that's pretty key well there's a shield block there's getting them seven armor here apparent another four but after 13 armor and 28 health oh the razorman rock star goes face we don't care here's a shale spider so it's lit up because we played an elemental last time but let's start with a neck neck check oh it's got four durability they drew us a lamp lighter hmm i guess it does three damage so we just kill the rock star because it's gaining a lot of health and we might as well play it because if we play it we get to reopen the neck neck check so we kill the razor fin rock star because it could have been three damage faced but that would deny us now we get to use the neck neck check again that draws a dubious purchase which we clearly don't want we definitely do want this lamp lighter back in the hand so we're either shadow stepping it or we're break dancing it now we played an elemental this turn so we don't need to play another elemental so let's just break dancers go face with our fire elemental and flame elemental and then we face the dagger note face of the dagger as well okay so we take the warrior back down to 38 but lamp lighter is now at four damage for next turn so yeah four damage so we've got a few more turns before we're getting really wrapped up something else we have in hand which is quite nice is bounce around three minor return or friendly minions to your hand they cost one this turn okay there's the the weapon it's attacking into the the thing from the breakdance so there are 38 still there's another shadow step so our neck neck check is not until next turn we want to play an elemental this turn we're gonna play multiple elementals probably we could just play lamp lighter and shallow step at this turn and then like shale spiders next turn dubious purchase is the four mana draw three cards combo for random destroy random any minions not sure what we need of that anyway is it lamp lighter for four this turn and shallow step it i think we start with a shale spider it draws us a card that's a dig for treasure i mean we can draw another card with another shale spider but i think we want to err on saving that for next turn and we go dig for treasure first there's a glacial shard well i like glacial shard when they have a what is the weapon called again our craftsman tamar and then we go face with our minions we got two mana left so we dagger up and go face with that and we'll attack them down to 35 and next turn lamp lighter is up to five damage now we have two shadow steps and a shot sauna water dancer and a lamp lighter so we can play sauna lamp lighter and then get like a total of five more lamplighters it's pretty gross that's like 25 damage so it probably doesn't cost a lot there's marron dig into this marron as they did not gain the arm of this turn that was just their six-month turn they coined out marron shuffling in the treasures this is kind of doable okay there's uh-huh great there's a sandbox scoundrel we have seven mana i think we do do sandbox scoundrel because it probably allows us to win next turn we've got nine cards in hand do we start with nick neck checking let's do that there's another glacial shard you like to see that because they have a craftsman tamar we'd rather they didn't gain three armor from it so let's start with the glacial shard on the marron i'm sorry on their face now we play and uh that reopened the nick neck shack nine cards in hand let's draw another card that's a prep i mean if we draw with that it doesn't really matter because their uh borders uh uh well the nick neck shack's gone so maybe we're dubious purchase now we would have to prep dubious purchase and play something else so prep sandbox scoundrel let's play the ziliacs i guess and then uh we just go face with a bunch of stuff actually we're going to trade into the marron is it blazes most board space like like things almost run out we're not bouncing around we pass turn we do play an elemental this turn which is good they're on 29 they can't attack with a craftsman tamar they've got seven mana they have got a treasure in hand from marron they've got nine cards so if it's wondrous one they want to play a card first there's a blade storm it kills a glacial shard there's a wondrous wand lamp later is dealing six next turn so let's see we don't have the manners to go lamp lighter and there's a yog yog for zero mana take control of my ziliacs it's going to heal them a little bit there's a standardized pack and a trail mix oh i see that's what yog cast so it put some uh standard cards in the hand the ziliacs is going to run into my uh what i was thinking about running into my scoundrel it did it traded with the scoundrel so that heals them up to 30 so only getting plus two so i'm 31 they've got two mana left they can heal to 33 so we can't play sauna lamp dancer shadow step lamp dancer shadow step lamp dancer but we can play lamp dancer shadow step your turn which i think is probably pretty key for setting up the sauna turn the following turn there's a prep as well oh nasty so jubias purchase on the yog seems good we've got a bunch of cards in hand oh no wait we've got a sandbox scoundrel sand box scoundrel seems like it might work very well here so sauna sandbox scoundrel give you another sandbox scoundrel the first lamp lighter is free let's just do six of the face now we shadow step it now we're gonna have to run our minions into the yog so we have board space of this we'll play the second lamp dancer on face with six that gives us another zero one on one hand we shadow step it again we're another one so we've got let's put them down to 14 okay so we've got one board space and we're going to want to play two lamp dancer that's fine we trade our two one one part of the metals into yog we play lamp dancer on face with seven we play lamp lighter on face with seven and they did here i'm saying we can't do sauna water dancer and lamp lighter shadow step this turn we just but we can play lamp lighter shadow steps up from following turn i forgot that last turn i'd played the sandbox scoundrel which gives us the setup we need to do that this turn there are a couple ways to do that you can make sauna one mana would be uh what's it called turn the volume back down on the thing where are we now let's put us up to platinum six you love to see it you play the sandbox scoundrel on sauna or you can play the sandbox spounder scoundrel on the lamp lighter it doesn't make much difference you do want the lamp lighter to be one mana at some point which involves shadow steps so the combo is really sauna water dancer shadow step and lamp lighter and that's why you need things like knick knack shack and just various things to draw your cards to help you get all that together all that breath from walking uphill and killing the control warrior you may notice that uh what was it the res of in rockstar probably gained them a good eight armor that's a very solid one drop but we uh weren't faced by that we knew that once we get the chain going we were online and also it being a control warrior gave us the extra time to be able to do it interestingly what would have caused us more issues is if they had played free no loan ranger and that i guess took everything in play but limited the board space to one which meant we have to play an elemental that turn and the only thing we can play to keep the chain going but overall it's fine i think that was a relatively typical draw of the deck it can go a lot worse i've definitely beat it getting a lot worse and because sometimes it does go like that and sometimes you get a higher all better than that and it really just completely tanks what the opponent's doing so good times is this a deck that he's nothing i'm not sure i think it's inconsistent but i can imagine that it's still going to be another sentiment outlier the same way and kill yaks is and the people i just not going to enjoy it's like what can i do they just played arena level elemental cards and i died anyway we're on the train platform we're over 30 minutes and there's a train pulling up so i should get on it so time to sign off follow me on twitch twitter and youtube address to go follow the podcast walk to a case just on twitter and
