G'day friends, it's BlisterGuy and this is episode 1336 of Walk to Work mobile hostile and podcast, Perils and Paradise is live, feels like forever since we last talked and that's because I didn't record yesterday on recording today, although really you're not going to get this episode much later than normal because usually I post them in the evening once I get home from work, I used to edit them and post them at work right and like that just involved carrying two laptops to work and that you know in retrospect was not great for my back, I was technically sneaking away from my desk to do it or doing it in my lunch break and it's just made the day harder to manage and I was like you know what posting it so that like as I posted at my lunch break it arrives for a lot of people in the US 7 p.m. in the evening, people aren't generally listening to podcasts in the evening, they listen to them by the commuting, I can wait till I get home and I post it, it's probably around 9 p.m. in my time which is US somewhere between 4 and 7 a.m. it's probably going to be ready for them for their commute regardless right and that's just a much healthier way for me to approach this so I started doing that so I will have posted this episode if I'd recorded it yesterday, 11 hours ago, yeah about 11 hours ago and so I'm going to record this one now, I'm going to get home and post it immediately because I'm working from home today and it's release day, we can do that so it's not just too bad that it's too late, it just feels like forever since we chatted you know it's just but anyway again I thought recording yesterday wouldn't be nearly as fun as recording today, it's not like there's not things I could talk about, it's the 24th of the month, I've been meaning to do that right, July 24th today, 23rd in the server, I shouldn't do that, I shouldn't be like two dates because different time zones but 24th so it's release day, I haven't gotten legend in any format, I'm diamond 3/4-ish in twist which means diamond 3 and no stars, I got to diamond 3 and then lost a game so you know so that's going okay but also I'm like silver or something and standard and wild or maybe gold, maybe I climbed a little bit, I don't remember but not much, I wanted to wait for the expansion, I know some people like I wanted to get legend out of the way for the expansion just in case it's all uncertain and weird, I don't know, I love that so I like waiting for it but it's a short month if we look at it that way, especially if I also want to finish twist, part of me's like maybe maybe I don't get legend this month at all, is that okay and I think it is, I think it's totally okay, I haven't talked about this much at length but I touched on it occasionally, that's of course that's totally okay, life does things, I've done a lot this month, I cleared molten coal with madress lover in Warcraft Rumble and also almost cleared it with with hydraulist like that was some pretty good progress for us all, they've released moonglade in that game and I've cleared that on heroic as late as last night, that's been a lot of fun and you know obviously if I'm diamond 3 and twist I've also been playing a bunch of Arthur and it's not that I've done nothing this month, just having got legend and that's okay, it's been fun, I've done a lot of gaming and it's been fun, not to mention of course I had a reveal, the reveal did technically air right at the start of the month, so you say well that's not a good excuse for not doing very much this month, but that is a lot of work to begin with and so there's all those, hangover from it, I've published it and now I'm tired, I just want to sleep, that kind of thing, so you know that all carries over, anyway today, it's live, I have opened the client already, I've seen what my bundle legendaries were, if from memory I got a signature orana, the trailblazer, that's the one which is a demon hunter legendary, makes it a priest tourist, I think, listening to coin concedes from their their crafting, they're like it doesn't do very much, but also it might still be good, you never know, Vicious Indigo have a sort of turbo list that runs it that aims to just play it while going into fatigue and then just like doing a ton damage so on, that does sound like the kind of thing I like, I like Questline Warlock and Wild, if a run a trailblazer or whatever, it's a thrill seeker, it's right, I run a thrill seeker, it's like that, instead it has signed me up, especially since I had the signature, my golden legendary was Rayla, the mage legendary that's a paladin tourist, not usually a fan of paladin, but I do like the direction that car is taking, there's a Vicious syndicate list that's all about playing sea chanting, so I'm crossing the motorway, you can hear like we're right under some roadworks, right now, right above, sorry, right above some roadworks, but that'll pass, and then there's traffic, and then it'll be quite on the other side as I slowly wander up the hill to home, because I'm not going to the office today, because it's Wednesday, anyway look, mage/paladin for sea shandy, like I do kind of like the look of that deck, that'll be fun, I got that as a golden legendary, my non-golden legendaries were summon a dark merit, that's my reveal legendary, and the right cleaver, okay, those are like like my reveal card and the card that I thought was the coolest from the expansion, love it, but obviously I've got a lot more packs to open, we're gonna do that first, and then we're going to spectate the ladder, just to see what's going on, I mean as well, while it would be cool I think to play something on release day, on the ladder, on the podcast, I can't do that and open packs at the same time, because I just don't have the decks built, even though like import codes can be there, like it's just kind of hard to pull together, and I think spectating the ladder, we get to see more stuff, and it is fun, I enjoyed doing like the the motorbike revving, I enjoyed doing the commentary stuff over what we're doing, have I unmuted the phone, nope there we go, is the volume up, yep, well thanks half, welcome to the in-friend in case you couldn't hear it, but you're probably good, because pretty sure the phone's closer to the mic than I am, anyway, we got some packs to open, so when you're opening packs you want to open your standard packs first, because as long as you have the rest of the cards in standard or close to it, that's giving you the best odds of the standard packs, having a whole bunch of new set cards in this case, perils and paradise, I do have all the cards in standard, so it's gonna be all perils and paradise cards, I also have some class packs, not very many, and if I open those first then my standard packs will just have a whole bunch of neutral cards, maybe, or at least it'll be skewed, so I'm just gonna save the class packs for later, because it really doesn't matter for me, the only thing they're gonna have potentially is epics from the new set, and that's cool, but we'll do the standard packs first, we have a couple of golden standard packs, so they're gonna be the first things we open, we'll do them one at a time, now the pity timer is it worth a golden pack for me is you know, we're well past the opening line, so it's not gonna be fancy, but it's fine, so I assume we're not getting a legendary out of it, but you never know, first golden standard pack, here we go, a bouldering buddy, this is the druid 7-6-7 rush taunt cost, one if you have at least 10 mana crystals, the druid list that I've seen theory crafted by Vicious Syndicate, people haven't been playing this, and I think it's because largely they're trying to bring back unkilly axe, and that makes sense, but this still seems like an exciting card that could have some impact, especially after unkilly axe rotates, next up, a rare, very nice, this one is cabaret headliner, the shaman one, the foreman of 3-3 battle cry reduced the cost of a spell card for each spell spoon you hand by two, this could be a lot of spell reduction, I did see that there was I think a demon hunter splash shaman deck, the vicious syndicate head, that had a lot of burn in it, and buttons, and this, and it seems quite careful, volleyball, this is the 3-1-3-2 paladin weapon, after you hear our attacks get a one-crossed sunscreen, to realize I want to go this way instead of the other way, I wonder if I can actually go there, we'll soon find out, it's gonna stroll up this way, you know, not the kind of card I like playing, but I don't know, I think the sunscreen is gonna be better than people think, we shall see, all right, next up, and you'll have the purple glow, oh, and a depth of amalgam, I'm not a hundred percent sure whether this is a card I definitely wanted in golden straight up, but I assumed it would be, I may also assume that any golden adaptive for amalgam decks, I just, you know, just any adaptive for amalgam decks, I just also not actually that good, but still, pretty high to get that, the other, the other epic I definitely want in gold is new heights, new horizons, whatever the druid ram spells, I want that, anyway last card from our golden standard pack, catch of the day, this is the hunter 1-1-3-3 with rush battle cry, summon a 2-1 worm for your opponent, it's a beast, pretty sweet, all things good, sorry, I'm going to step in front of a motorbike, so it's just gesturing to a dude in hive is asking if I could walk down the side street because it's kind of fenced off and I'm down the side street there, and in the process I stepped out in front of a motorbike, they weren't going too fast and I didn't get hit, I think pretty sure you'd notice I would, but that's, that's what this sorry was, anyway that's the first golden standard pack, second golden standard pack, and then I would open the rest of the standard packs with like the mass pack opening thing, second gold tied pools, I like this one, this is the mage location 3-3 durability, discover a spell that costs 3 or less after you've cast a spell, reopen this, like I kind of like this in druid, so that I can try and find more new horizons or whatever it is, okay, next up, Seabreeze cellus, we like having that in gold, that's, this is the mage drink, three serves of it, each of them is two damage divided randomly and makes all enemies, which seems like not much, but obviously you're spell damaging up with that, and I'm excited to be playing a bunch of that, acupuncture, this is the priest one mana, shadow spell, deal four damage to each, to both heroes, I mean look, anything that just does damage to heroes is very specific, I have paid spells that do that kind of thing in Hearthstone and Magic even, but it's not my favorite kind of thing to be doing, but if it's effective, I will do it, parrot sanctuary, this is the hunter location 2 mana 3 durability, your next battle cry minion cost 1 less, after you play a battle cry minion, repeat this, this doesn't seem like the kind of thing you're gonna get to use and repeat often, like I reopened this, not repeat, so like you play this on 2 and then on turn 3, you get a 4 cost battle cry minion, the cost 1 less, I guess, I mean it's not less than 1, you could have a lot of really cheap battle cry minions, you could just chain them, I guess, not sure what I'm doing with that, but, you know, no, last card, coconut can in the air, I don't feel like I've seen this one, I've certainly not read the name out loud, 2 mana, 1/4 neutral pirates, after an adjacent minion attacks, deal 1 damage to a random enemy, hmm, I've not looked at this card before, but that's enticing, like especially if we're making hell went to little 1/1s with a rush or charge or something, like which demon hunter could do, hmm, lots of little pings everywhere, I like that, well let's just get the rest of these standard packs open, there's five of them, alright, can I mass pack opening that, I can, I've got five in a stack, let's go, it says we got a hydration station, dangerous cliffside, that's the the demon hunter location, sacrificial imp, it's one of my reveal cards, very nice, and there's a horizons edge, that's the death knight location, and a surfle pod continue, okay, summary, pack's open, so they're all just real, it's 5.10 packs, you can't expect much, let's take a quick screenshot of that, apparently there was a 6th rare, just, I doesn't say what they were, okay that's fine, alright, so now we have 149 perils and paradise packs, I'm gonna mass open those, and they'll be in chunks of 40, but we'll open the 10 golden packs one at a time first, see where our legendary pity timer is, see what we get, maybe we get a signature, nice, okay, I'm gonna cross the road as well, so the pack's opening while I'm crossing the road, golden common up first, hose and rough house, the 3-2-4 neutral pirate, whenever another friendly pirate attacks give it plus one plus one, I think it's a very powerful card, this is the kind of thing that in wild in particular pirate, it seems like, okay, sure, this is like the sea captain, what's it called, south sea captain, that's the one, right, that thing that is just 3-3-3 your pirate's at plus one plus one, they remove that, then your pirates don't have plus one plus one anymore, but this one, they attack and they get plus one plus one permanently, and then if they attack again they get it again, like, come on, that's pretty good, alright, moving along, blood cell recruiter, 2-1 pirate, battle cry, discover a pirate, I mean it's squishy, but it has a lot of attack, so that's quite good, hey bush turkeys, if there's someone in front of me walking slowly up the path, I'm going to feel nervous about overtaking them, but we'll do it, we'll just keep talking, okay, so this is a sweet pirate, it's a pretty good value really, 2-1-4-1 is something that you can't ignore, because 4-1 attack is a lot, so it's pretty enticing, I think, as something that you might want to play, even if it is a bit squishy and can be evaluated down by like, wanko stuff, hiking trails, the druid location, I do like the sound of this, 3-1-3-jurability, discover a taunt million after you've gained armor, reopened this, this is one of those things that's quite neat, because if you want a cheap taunt, you get a cheap taunt, if you want something expensive, you can try for something expensive, it gives you a lot of flexibility, now 3-1-1 is a lot to pay for something like this, it doesn't specifically do anything in the moment you play it, but druid's going to have a lot of mana, I guess, anyway, moving on, Gold and Coleman, Tortolan Traveler, this is a 3-1-1-5 for druid, taunt, death rattle, draw another taunt million, reduce its cost by 2, reducing costs, it's very powerful, I've seen this in a few theory crafting lists, I can imagine I'm going to play it today, Sigil of Skydiving, this is the one for Demon Hunter, I was talking about playing in my wild Demon Hunter deck, the 2-1-1 fell Sigil at the side of your turn, 7-3-1-1 Pirates of Charge, don't mind if I do, so that's the first pack, it was minimum dust, I think, all good, next golden pack, number 2, I'll rev go up that hill, still up my hill to go, let's slow down, golden rest, siren song, shaman, two mana, rare, get two random spells from spell schools you haven't cast this game, I mean I can see what that card is doing, not entirely sure it's one I want to play, but maybe it is, it's one of those things where maybe if the class wants to do that enough, this is possibly worth doing, lamp lighter, so there's been talk of a elemental rogue which is basically a lot like a shock spitter hunter, but for rogue, it's a 3-1-3-2 elemental battle cryo deal, one damage improve for each turn, in a row you've played an elemental, to rogues like cheap terrible elemental followed by cheap terrible elemental followed by terrible cheap elemental and on and on, like turn 5, and you just like lamp lighter, deal 5 to you, breakdance it, oh okay, next turn play the light light, deal 6 to you, oh okay, shadow step at play 60, like it's going to add up pretty quickly, it's a very linear deck, it's not very exciting to play, but it could be very powerful, I know Tito Santana who was doing theory crafting, said that it felt like it was pretty good to play in theory crafting, so we shall see, snoozing zookeeper, neutral, 7 mana, 5-8 battle cryo summon an 8-8 beast, an 8-8 beast for your opponent, it attacks all of the minions, oh I forgot about that one, this is amazing, snoozing zookeeper right, so the zookeeper is snoozing and the 8-8 beast is escaped and it's running amok across the opponent's board, I think I saw somebody complaining about this in arena, I haven't seen it myself, but it would be pretty annoying, anyway moving on, oh tide pull pupil, happy to have this in gold, it's a 1 mana, 2-1 naga, battle cryo few cast, 3 spells are holding this discover one of them, this is one of those things where people are already saying this might need to be nerfed, it's very good, and if it gets nerfed, I can see it just being a 1 mana 1-1 or even a 2 mana 2-2 or 2-1, like it sounds like it's a very good card, I'm excited to play this kind of thing, I very much like it, just like commander savara, but with a little more nuance, the thing with commander savara which was from, oh what was that expansion called, depths, no, oh I can never remember it, it starts with S maybe, the one with all the naga and dredge and all that stuff, commander savara was a mage, 4-5 legendary, if you play 3 spells or holding this battle cryo, add copies of them to your hand, so it can be pretty good value, quest mage and wild likes to play it, this is just like that, but instead of giving you 3 cards, and quest mage and wild probably does want all 3 cards, this lets you pick, and this is a totally different thing, but it's also a very powerful thing to be doing, so kind of excited to try this, all terrain, void hound, this is the demon hunter, 7 mana, 5-8, whenever this attack, give you hero plus 5 attack this turn, I mean it's a very specific thing that a big demon hunter is doing, it's not the kind of thing I plan on doing, but you never know, I might do it, so there's 2 packs down, next golden pack number 3, I haven't even started spectating yet, I'm almost home, but that's fine, we'll just go for a lap around the block, resort valet, 4 mana, 3-5, battle cryo discover a card from the newest expansion, that's this one, but it goes next expansion, something else, kind of neat, don't think we're playing this very often though, melter mental, this is the 3 mana 3-8 for shaman with taunt and it's permanently frozen, those are pretty solid stats, I don't, I haven't looked to see if it's any shaman lists and theory crafting for a vicious syndicate, but I feel like it's just a really solid way to brick wall your opponent when you want to, so wait, am I hearing a truck idling around the corner, do I want to go that way, there is a big truck, maybe we go back up the street this other way, all right, all right, of course because there's the worksite down there that makes all the noise, right, anyway, next up we have wave pull thrasher, 4-4-5 neutral battle cryo, give all other minions, minus 1, death rate will give all other minions plus 1 plus 1, haven't talked about this before, I mean, this sounds symmetrical, but like it's going to new to all of your minions, but then also buff them when it dies, but maybe you can use this to kill off a bunch of minions for your opponent, and then if this dies it doesn't really matter because those minions weren't there anymore, but then if they play some minions and then kill off your minion, their minions get bigger, I don't know, like it's a very narrow case, I'm pretty sure if we wanted a neutral card that cost 4 that gave all opposing minions minus 1 minus 1, because I assume we're not running very many minions at that point, like I don't know, don't know. Muenstrosity, this is a hard one to say, 9 minus 6, 9, nice, taunt at the end of your turn, summon an elemental with stats equal to this minions, so this one's also an elemental, this is clearly a warrior card that goes in the right lever, I don't think anyone disputes that, that's a pretty fun thing to be doing, I guess, that's what you do, I will see, there we go, rising waves, vicious syndicates very high on this one, it's a mage, 3 mana, rare spell, deal 2 damage to all minions, if none die, deal 2 more, it's like a reverse defile, right, defile you want a bunch of small minions so you can work your way up the chain, this one if there's a lot of big minions it might kill them, but any small minions will stop it, but it's still something that if druid is touristy into mage, it gives druid something they don't normally have, so that seems quite strong, so that's 3 golden packs, 4th golden pack, coconut cannon air again, that's the 2 mana 1 4 that's pinging stuff, cute, skirting death, 3 mana, demon hunter shadows spell, choose a minion this turn, your hero steals 4 attack from it, we did talk about their reveal season, it's not bad, but I don't know that we're intentionally playing it too often, oops, I mean we just flipped over 2 cards, oops, but they're both seashells, so that's good, we can talk about them rogue, 3 mana, 3, 2 battle cry, the next card you play from a non rogue class costs 2 less, as far as you can tell if you're playing rogue and you happen to be playing touristy into another class, you play this, because why not, if you happen to be playing whatever other class tourist into rogue, you play this, because why not, I think it's paladin that tourists into rogue, and paladin having this like sure, all right last card, power spike, all right this is the paladin, 6 mana, holy spell, deal 4 damage, give a random friendly minion plus 4 plus 4, that could be a big swing if it hits face and there's nothing in play, or it just takes out a minion, really does not work very well if you don't have any minions in play, but you know paladin can do that, okay 5th pack, 5th golden pack, let's see what's in here, oh mana, this is the rogue 2 mana spell, deal 2 damage combo, get a coin, something rogue's gonna want to do a lot of, catch of the day, that's the hunter 1 mana 3 3 again, no ice, chatty macaw, this is the hunter 3 mana 3 3 pirate beast, battle cry repeat the last spell you cast at an enemy, at a random enemy if possible, so it's a very specific last spell, it's not necessarily the last spell you cast, it has to be a spell you cast at an enemy, not really sure what the use case for this does yet, maybe it's something that priest is doing, but it's reasonably powerful ability, certainly sounds like an epic, moving on, my second golden sea reese chalice, you love to see it, hopefully my opponents don't, and the last one is my second golden hose and rough house of the pirate buffer, nice, pack number 6, concierge, my first golden concierge, I was quietly worried that this was going to be like a rewards track golden, because this card apparently is incredibly powerful in a lot of the tourist decks, this is the 3 mana 3 4 pirate, your cards from another class cost one less, they're key combo enablers basically, and I was worried that if they were a rewards track golden card, I wouldn't be able to play it in golden throw away, this tells me I'm going to be able to, I'm pretty happy about that, next card, golden chalice, golden chiropractor, it's a neutral 3 mana 3 3 battle cry, giving me plus 3 plus 3 and freeze it, it's a pretty good rate, I mean freezing it is annoying, but like sometimes you're like, you know what, I don't need to go face this minion this turn, I'm just going to give it plus 3 plus 3, in a turn it's unfrozen, if it was like a 1/1, it's now 4/4, like that's a lot of stats for 3 mana, I think it's more of a good arena card than anything, anyway, another mewingstrosity to go in my rycleaver, another rising wave, so we've got that covered as well, a cup of muscle, so this is the warrior drink 1 mana, give him any hand plus 2 plus 1, 3 drinks left, I gather this is quite good as well, I mean I don't know how good it is, but I'm certainly looking forward to using cup of muscle with concierge of course, to buff something right, seventh golden perils pack, the timer has not been good to us, trail mix, the druid 2 mana spell, that's nature spell, gain 2 mana crystals next turn only, yeah, yeah this is the kind of thing I'd like to play, now it's not the epic that I want in golden, but obviously I'd be wanting this one as well I think, there's a dozing dragon, vicious syndicate quite high on this one, this is the 5 mana, 3/5 dragon, dormant for 2 turns, while dormant summoner, 3/5 dragon with taunt in your turn, for 5 mana you're getting 3/5 taunts, not all the same time, but that's pretty good value, and also like just getting a 3/5 for nothing, the turn archy play this, and another 3/5 for nothing the turn after, because that's the the original version, like you're getting a 3/5 spending no amount of those turns, it's kind of good, all right, second tidepool pupil, you want to see that, well I do, marooned arc mage, 3 mana 3/3 your first belly is turning cost 2 less for mage, I don't know if this has been getting played a lot, but I remember in reveal season I was like this is actually quite good, I should see whether he's played, there's my first hunter trusty fishing rod, 3 mana 1/2 weapon, after you hear our attack summoner 1 cost minion from your deck, now I was thinking catch today is what you want to put out of this, but I suspect it's the kind of thing where you want to be pulling out the adaptive amalgam, nice, all right pack number 8 of my golden perils packs, is this the one, does this have the golden glow, doesn't look like it, oops we hit two, so we got hot coals which is the priest fire spell, 3 mana, deal 2 damage to all enemies, if your hero took damage this turn deal 1 more, yep I guess, not sure what the application is, but it seems like a reasonable rate, next up is penny theft, the rogue 2 mana spell get 2 red and 1 cost spells from another class, I mean it's the frogy stuff, I guess that works, there's also an epic rogue spell it's like 8 mana, destroy 2 minions, 2 random minions or something, which is obviously a pretty good rate, and it's reduced by 1 for each spell you've played from another class, or added to your hand from another class, I think it's played from another class, so it's going to get really cheap pretty quickly, and petty theft will help with that, anyway frosty decor, this is the shaman 5 mana, rare spell frost summon 2/2/4 elementals with taunt and death rail gain for armor, I'm not sure I'm the rate of this, but I know Vicious Syndicate have put the deck, so it's probably pretty good, there's a weapons attendant 6-6/4 pirate battlecry, if you're controlling another pirate equip a random weapon from your deck, not sure what the application is there, but it's there if we need it, and then another snoozing zookeeper, all right pack number 9, at least the later packs you get to go through faster if you've seen the commons already, brain masseuse, this is the priest 1 mana, 2/4 undead pirate, whenever this minion takes damage also deal that amount to your hero, if that's what you want to do, which priest kind of wants to do, so okay, looks like we're going all the way through to pack 10 because this one doesn't have a legendary, this is a grill master, 4 mana, 3/4 paladin, spellcry, draw your lowest cost card, death rail, draw your highest cost card, now, excuse me, I've had a cold by the way over the weekend, I pushed it then discord, and I guess I haven't mentioned it to now, this is a key thing for drawing like your combo enabler minion, like the paladin tourist, what's her name, lonesa, the feat one, you know, she got 5, so this is the way that you make sure you draw that, so you can pull your combos off, makes you a little vulnerable to doing your rap perhaps, but not everyone's going to be running doing your rap, and so those times you're just like free rolling, and if they're running doing your rap then I guess you'd be careful, keep a whole bunch of minions in your hands so they don't necessarily do any rap what you want, anyway, it's another siren song, that's the shaman spell, the two random spells, there's another power spike, that's the big paladin damage and buff spell, and scrapbooking student, 5 mana, 5/5, battlecry, so I'm going to copy it of a friendly location, so you have to have a location to do it, you have to have not used it if you wanted to get full cost, if you're playing a bunch of locations maybe, but I'm not sure I want to be putting this in my deck, all right, the last of my golden perils packs, this one should have a legendary, let's see, there it is, all right it's, it's Cruz Captain Laura, this is the 7 mana, 4/5 druid legendary, battlecry, summon two random locations, it looks like a bad car, people are like, yeah I don't know this is very good, but I do remember Zacho from Vicious Syndicate saying on their podcast, this is, we've done the math, this is a lot of value in locations, maybe this is quite good, I have it in golden legendary, I guess we might find out, line cook, I was excited to try line cook, the theory crafting citizens that maybe this isn't a great minion, it's the warrior 3 mana, 2/4 with tradable taunt, when you draw this, get a copy of it, yeah my plan is to hand buff it and trade it, get more of them, it could be more fun than anything, there's no other legendaries in this pack by the way, there's my second hiking trail, my second hot coals, and my second weapons attendant, very nice, so is Cruz Captain Laura the golden legendary wanted to get, I mean maybe not, right, but also I'll take any legendary icon, oh I've got to open all the other packs, but we're going to do their own maths, right, or maybe I'll do that later, we should spectate someone, because you know I don't want to go too over time, so let's spectate people, and I'll mass pack opening and maybe post it and destroy something, all right who are my friends list, is someone we can spectate, Brian Kiblet is playing but you can watch him stream if you want, Edelweiss, all right let's spectate Edelweiss, one of the hosts from the QCC podcast, no doubt she'll be playing something spicy, that's not said that Brian Kiblet won't be playing something spicy, but let's see what Edelweiss has got going on, I don't know check the time, so Edelweiss is a shaman, it's turned 5, she's got a damaged healing tournament play, the opponent is a mage with nothing in play, opponent's on 23, Edelweiss is on 29, Edelweiss hasn't handed a south sea captain, that's the 3 mana, 3/3 other pilots have plus one plus one, they sand out elemental, that's the 4 mana, 4/4 min, try as battle cry give you hero plus one attack and win you through this turn, I see Aziliax, this is the cost one, they've reached minion and play and buffs or minion, you're other minions have plus one plus one, she's trading a snake oil, she's just drawn parrot glide, this is the demon hunter spell, so clearly we're touristing into demon hunter, because she's just drawn it, she draws 3 cards, the other player doesn't, there's a snake oil and a patches the pilot, and also a sailboat captain, which is a 3 mana, 2/4 battle cry give a friendly pirate win fury, the last card in hand I didn't get to is adrenaline fiend, it's the 2 mana, 2/2 demon parrot, so excuse me again, we'll take your vices on some kind of shaman demon hunter pirate thing, the mage has just traded a snake oil and played a watercolor artist, which is the 4 mana, 4/4 battle cry, draw a frost belt, sail your turn, your turn to reduce this cost by one, so this is probably hoping to aim to draw by when get one freeze, so that they can copy a sif, and hopefully it's going to be reduced to not much, so the sif doesn't cost very much, and you do a lot of damage, so clearly what evice wants to do is a lot of damage up front, take them out, she starts by trading snake oil, which draws a parrot shoot, there's a 1/1 parrot charge, and also a south sea sailboat captain, now giving these pirates win fury doesn't do much, because obviously they're 1/1s, she's looking at the adrenaline fiend, does it attack him with these pirates give her extra attack, maybe it's worth it, we also got a skirting death in hand, choose a minion, this turn your hero steals 4 attack from it, I mean that's the spell I said you wouldn't play, but here's evice playing it, also we've got a bunch of stuff in play, we can also play the ziliax, we could play the adrenaline fiend to end the ziliax, ah because the adrenaline fiend would make ziliax 3 mana, we've got 5 mana left, looks like she's thinking about that, here comes the adrenaline fiend, she's toying with it, it's going to point and play, I don't know, and there's ziliax buffing the minions, now when her minions attack, it's also buffing the helter, the minion's attack, she's going to get +1 attack from the adrenaline fiend, are we taking out the watercolor elemental, +1 attack there, yep one of the pirates is trading into it, which gives evice a second attack, so she used to face tank to work elemental, and then the healing totem goes face, so the mage is now on 20, evice has a 2/2 patches of the pilot, a 1/3 healing totem, and a 3/3 adrenaline fiend and a 3/5 ziliax, the mage has 6 mana this turn, now as evice is now on 25, which is pretty relevant if we've got the watercolor elemental setting up a combo, there's a flame geyser on the ziliax, and then an inquisitive creation doing free damage to everything, clearing evice's board, right, evice has drawn a sigil of skydiving, she's looking at the skirting death thinking about playing that this turn, so the thing with a sift deck is the more damage you take, face tanking minions, and from incidental things like inquisitive creations, the lower you are when sift needs to come down, so and I don't mean that inquisitive creation goes face with this damage anymore, but like the fact that if it's still in play next turn and it gets to attack, you go down to 22, then the sift lethal becomes that much easier, now we are down a flame geyser of course for the mage, so it makes it a little harder, but evice's need to push it, so he comes to sand our elemental, plus one attack and then fury, and a skirting death, oh I like this combo, I do like this combo, we're saying all right that inquisitive creation loses free attack, which means evice now has 4, does she trade down inquisitive creation, no she gets face with 4, and face with 4, putting the maze for 12, because even though the inquisitive creation can deal 3 to evice's face this turn, there's a sleet skater freezing the sand our elemental, even though the inquisitive creation can do damage to evice's face, she just wants to kill the opponent, and a second sleet skater, the miniaturized version freezing it again, so the mage gains 8 armor going back up to 20, and then the little flame elemental from the playing geyser, and evice force 22, because sigil is skydiving, and evice's drawn carefree cookie, which is the shaman tourist, which allows the demon hunter to guard, and then she's here repairing up a spell damage totem, thinking about what to do next, excuse me a bit of a cough lift over from the cold, there's not a lot of stuff that evice wants to play this turn, like the the the sand art elemental miniature version, really great when you compare it with more attack buffs, you don't just want to play it now to get too attack him, there's a carefree cookie we'd just plan it, splashy thing, okay there's a primordial gift from the mage, I'm guessing cookie dies, but the thing here is that, that just means it's something that tied up the mage for a while, there's a seabreeze chalice created by a primordial glyph, there's one to cookie one to evice's face, and the second seabreeze chalice, there's one to set out emos, and one to dispel down herself, there's a tie ball pupil, oh I see, well that's going to give her a full seabreeze chalice, another primordial glyph, that one not discovered by the pupil I think, so that should be fine, oh no it was, they took another, I thought they're going to take another thing, but they've taken a second primordial glyph, hero powering to take out this sand art elemental, oh I heat way for zero mana care by primordial glyph, all right that clears the rest of the advice of the board, but edible ice for 19, a few attacks for minions, puts edible ice down to 11, I mean at this point the mage who's still on 20 is not even going to need, it's not even going to need the sif finish, all right so ill advice gets three, oh three pirates will charge, she's just drawing the dangerous cliff side, saucy captain's going to buff these ones, two plus two plus two, so we get to go face for six if we want, but I think we kind of die if we do that, because the opponent has 10 attack of both, there's the cliff side, dangerous cliff side, so the interesting thing here is the cliff side reopens if ill advice attacks, but she's a shaman, so it's not as easy to do, we don't have anything that's buffing stuff right now, so dangerous cliff side comes a couple of pirates, and it looks like ill advice is quite prudently trading pirates into the minions that the mage has, because being on 11 health it's just a recipe for disaster if your opponent has 10 attack, you know what I mean, okay here comes a uh yep this is a sand art elemental, that's allowing ill advice to attack into a 1-1 and a 2-1, oh reopening the thing, okay fair enough, that's good, and these minions and play can go face if they want, now ill advice is on 10, so one of the two twos is trading for the 2-1 because the alternative is falling down to 8, she's going face for 1 putting the mage for 19, now the last two pirates, the two, oh we reopening the location again, so that's the third time, and it looks like four pirates, so we're going face putting the mage down to 11, so the mage has a 1-2 elemental in play and ill advice is on 10, the mage has 9 mana, can they find 9 damage from hand, there's a sift, 3 mana left, oh no, there's a buy one get one freeze which has been reduced to 0 mana, point it in sift and ill advice is conceded, fair enough, now I'm just going to critique that a little bit, I'm just going to unspectate one other person, but a sift followed by buy one get one freeze doesn't necessarily mean there's a burn spell in hand, and it's not going to take long for that burn spell to come out and kill you if it does, there's no reason to concede there the way ill advice did, you just let them kill you because sometimes, sometimes they play the sift, they play the buy one get one freeze, and they were hoping you would concede, now I don't know, I think sometimes I guess the situation is that they wouldn't be doing that if they didn't have the burn spell so I might as well concede, they're not in a position where they have to have the sift this turn, so maybe they wouldn't be doing this if they didn't have it, right, but also there's no skin on if you notice to not, to just wait for them to kill you there, other than the fact that maybe it takes an extra 5 seconds, I don't think that's too much of an issue, I think conceding when they're going through the motions of lethal is just a poor habit to get into because sometimes you're going to concede again that you weren't actually about to lose, anyway, let's see who else have we got here that we can spectate, Cora Giorgio is doing battle with a friend, I can spectate her but let's not do that because who knows what I'm doing, enthrallomant from the squelch podcast, let's speak that enthrallomant, see what enthrallomant I do, and then of course I should go upstairs and do a bit of work, at least it is a work day, but also I'll discreetly open the rest of my packs, anyway, what do we see, the opponent is on 13th, I can see a bunch of cards and play, holy cowboy, silverhand recruits, what's this one, all the grill masters, this is probably some kind of paladin combo I suspect, this is divine brew, buffing stuff, oh they're playing on their face, giving them a divine shield, holy gold, low sticks, so enthrallomant appears to be a rogue, he's just falling into 25, has in hand adapted from elgum, lamp lighter, oh I see, shale spider, shade stone, skullker, sonja water down, so the lamp lighter is one mana, oh my goodness me, so excuse me again, the divine shield on the paladin is prudent, and I can see how they're on 19 now, because it looks like enthrallomant is playing some kind of lamp lighter combo, now the paladin is doing a lot of attacking, attacking enthrallomant down to 17, there's a high hustle wing, it looks like we have, what's this location, this is a knickknack shack, draw a card if you plan to reopen this, divine brew, giving a 2-1, a divine shield so it takes out the 1-2 elemental enthrallomant head, okay so quick pick is going face to take the divine shield off, oh gross this looks gross, there's sonja water dancer, here comes a one mana lamp lighter on face dealing, 7 damage, which gives them another lamp lighter in hand, does another 7 damage and then a shadow step, well that's going to put the opponent down to about negative 3, gross, so there you go, I talked about lamp lighter being pretty painful, this is turn 7, it's an aggressive paladin deck, there's probably just played a whole bunch of elementals and they just burnt that a paladin out, while still being on 17, nasty stuff, that sonja water dancer into one mana lamp lighter, giving you a second zero mana lamp lighter, shadow step the one mana lamp lighter, to play another one mana lamp lighter, getting another zero mana lamp lighter, that could have been like 28 damage that enthrallomant did there, on turn 7, so, so, there you go, right I'm you know 100 meters away from my home or something, or maybe even less 50 meters, let's see if I can't just open some more of these packs using the mass pack opening while we head to the door, let's see if we grab one and we make it 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50, go for it, great, I'm loving this deck is a throwloman, that's what you love to hear, I put in, he's saying lots of things while we open stuff, so this should be a legend here, what's this epic is uh, uh, swampy sword, shiner, okay it's kind of hard to read, it's kind of small, epic, gold, gold is announced afterwards, that's my reveal card, I don't think I'm gonna play it, but still, ranger gilly, we like that, carry on grub, hang on a minute, one legendary, maybe there's more, throwloman standing stuff, I put in sendianus over magatha, and I think it's actually good, good to know, dozing dragon, nice, button's legendary, nice, uh, service ace, mixologist, go with the flow, fair enough, it's a dread deserter, service ace again, go with the flow again, and curse souvenir, and another curse souvenir, all right so we got two legendaries in the first 40 packs, so the first one's the uh, within 10 packs, and the other one is one legendary within 30, so not terrific, but uh, it could be worse, and I'm sure it just means I'll get more leads in very soon, just screenshot that so I can check it out later, all right, I'm gonna go inside, so it's time for me to sign off, and I'll finish up no more packs upstairs, so I'm looking forward to playing a pair of some paradise, looking forward to the expansion, really do enjoy expansion day, your loop time experience past nine really should be, yikes, inside, so time to sign off, follow me on twitch, twitter, and youtube, @blisterguy, follow the podcast, wall to work, hs on twitter, and come hang on discord, discord.me/blisterguy, continues, uh, continues, congratulations to everyone who won giveaways, I'm sorry, we were so late getting to them, uh, but we draw the winners last night, uh, if you want to see who won, go into discord, uh, discord.me/blisterguy, because again, I really should get upstairs, log into work, all that stuff, it's always a pleasure to have you join me for my walk to work, even if it is a walk home, good luck everyone, especially opening your packs today, and everything you do, because you are absolutely bloody legends you are, and I love you all, oh I gotta stop the recording, ooh, 39 minutes, yeah, that will ruin me.
