G'day, friends, it's Blister Guy, and this is episode 1330. Remember I was talking about this last week? Well, they didn't really go 303030. Anyway, I've walked to work on Wir workflow and podcast, and today we are sandwiching paladin and rogue reveals. And of course, that's obviously a pun, because there's an extra special warrior weapon to come along with it. Oh, it's an amazing card. We'll talk to that in a moment. Also, we've had demon hunter reveals overnight, but I wasn't prepared to talk about those. Partly because I was thinking that today's episode, so choose that. Actually, this is something I wanted to start doing. What I'm doing there, the intro, I want to save the date, because it makes it easier to keep track of things. Even though it's always in the notes and all that stuff. What are we? Today, 9th of July, Tuesday, the 9th of July. That's what it is. The intent here is that I was going to record this yesterday, because obviously next Tuesday, we are away for my wife's birthday. Shole Bay, by the way. I've remembered it. I haven't remembered it. I had paid attention when she mentioned it. Shole Bay for a few nights, which should be lovely, hopefully, for my wife's birthday, which means not recording next Tuesday, which means doing an extra episode this week to just make sure we don't fall behind, because however many years I've been doing this, now I haven't missed one yet, even if I have had to pre-record some episodes. Or occasionally have a short episode. I think really early on, there were some 10-minute episodes recorded in airports and things like that, which is fun. Don't get to do that very much anymore, if at all. If I'm at an airport now, I'm usually at the airport with the kids. So, different thing. Anyway, what are we going to do? Oh, yes. We're going to do the reveals. But first of all, I should probably do a patron thank you, right? Like, that's a thing I keep forgetting to do. I don't even have the channel open really, but I will have any moment now. This is just the sound of me vamping to get there. It's professional. You know, apparently next up is, oh, yes, Ephesus, or Ephesus. I'm not sure which it was, but they said, "If I was feeling adventurous to do the Sis one," and I was feeling adventurous, so I did. And so, thank you to Ephesus and to all the other patrons who support the work we do here. It does go a long way to defraying the costs that add up with all this stuff. It really helps. Also, double shout out today to Madraslover, who helped me down Ragnaros in Warcraft Rumble last night. Now, in the guild we're all in, I clearly have, I guess, the most sigils, the highest collection level, all that stuff. Some people might be higher than me and PvP sometimes, that's fair enough. But I'm pretty sure Madraslover is just way better at the game than I am, and just hasn't completed the campaign, because he's like, "Eh, I don't need to." But when we did the last couple of fights, just more often than not, I'd be sitting there going, "Oh, no, okay, yep, and Madraslover has done that. Okay, we good, we good." Oh, no, we did, oh, no, Madraslover's done that. Okay, great. So, his situational awareness, map awareness, and ability, just fire out shines mine. And I'd hard carried, I think, would be how to describe how Madraslover pulled me through that molten core. Also, I've been working on it with Hydro-Lisk. We've taken out Baron Geddon, and we're now up to Golemag, which we had a fair whack-out yesterday, but it is harder. The Hydro-Lisk's collection level is not as high as Madraslover's, so, you know, troops are a bit more under-leveled, which is no indictment of Hydro-Lisk. There's a lot going on in life, I can understand. But also, I think Madraslover is just an extra level of amazing at these games, so good for them. Anyway, very happy to have done that. That's very cool. Back to the Hearthstone. So, sandwiching, Paladin, and Rogue reveals, I want to talk about a warrior reveal first. We haven't had all the warrior reveals, they come later, but we've had one card. And it's kind of amazing. I don't know about power level-wise how amazing it is, but I'm pretty sure the ceiling on this is very high. It's a seven minor legendary weapon called the Reichleaver, which I believe is a reference to the original woe cleaver. The Reichleaver is a seven minor four-two weapon. Now, you don't want to pay that for a weapon. You want to pay four minor for a four-two weapon, not seven minor. Battle crime, death rattle. Get a slice of bread. Yes, yes, the Reichleaver, this is for slicing bread. You're getting bread. Bread. Yeah, I'm pausing just to relish in how wonderful this is. I do like bread, right? I mean, about being a typical white guy. Bread is nice, I like bread. Some people kind of eat bread. My mum can't really eat bread. I worry one day that I might like her not be able to eat bread. So for now, I relish in bread whenever I can. I like a good sourdough. I mean, not really someone who is making sourdough during COVID or anything like that, but I do enjoy a good sourdough. Ooh. Delightful, toasting it. Anyway, what are we doing with these pieces of bread? It says get two to sandwich any minions in between. Now, when I read this, it's like, I'm not sure what this means. But of course, not sure what this means is just, I forgot what get means. Now, get means put it in your hand. Someone would put it into play, but we're getting the slices of bread in their hand. And so that makes a little more sense now when you could have two slices of bread and anything between them is sandwiched. Not okay, that's still not making much sense, but it's all right. So ideally, we're playing the Reichleaver, then somehow adding some minions to our hand by drawing them, I guess. And then when the Reichleaver dies, you get another piece of bread and the minions that are in your hand are now sandwiched in a sandwich. We'll get to that in a moment. There is some downsides to this. You play it now and you attack, I guess. So that's one of its two durability. Ideally, attacking a second time next turn to get the second piece of bread to then sandwich up any minions you've drawn in the meantime. The downside here, of course, is that you could play the Reichleaver attack with it. You're probably going to be like, "I'm going to a restaurant, bye for that." And you're like, "I didn't have a chance to put any minions in my hand because seven manals ought to play for a Reichleaver." So look, it's not perfect in that regard. People are going to spoil it. I don't think I like it, but as we're about to find out, I think spoiling it might be a good idea because the minion sandwich is a two-manner spell. So this is what happens once you get the second piece of bread. You attack the second time with the Reichleaver, it gives you a second piece of bread. It smooshes anything between the first slice of bread and the second slice of bread that's a minion together. And to a two-cost spell, this is summoned the minion stuffed in the sandwich. I mean, isn't this delightful? So the turn after you play a Reichleaver, you're going to attack with Reichleaver, and then you're going to play a two-cost spell. It's going to summon some stuff. We don't know how much stuff. You've only really drawn one card when you played the thing, but you have got a fair amount of mana to play with this turn. So you could do some other stuff. You could play a standardized pack. You remember the pack? Some of the twisted pack that was really good and wild and the others are just terrible. A one-manner pack that adds five taunts to your hand at the end you turn to scarred them. Yeah, you know what's better than discarding them? Stuffing them in a sandwich and summoning them. Summoning five random taunts, some of which may be small, but some of them might not be. It's pretty good, right? That's just baseline. We may be able to get other minions in our hand as well. You could also, because I believe Hunter is a warrior tourist, Hunter could be doing this. Hunter could have some big beasts. Hunter could play the wild pack, which I believe is just random beasts, I think. They could be better or worse, I don't know. But either way, one of those packs is a good way to make a giant, healthy, tasty sandwich to summon immediately. But ideally, obviously, we're looking at something I'd take that's like, "I've got a lot of big minions. I'm going to get them into my hand." Sandwich them, summon them. Now, I don't know how well this is going to work. The high roll is extraordinary, but probably hard to pull together and really is just straight up allergic to restaurant viper. But still it's fun. It's cool. It's neat. I love this idea. I love this concept. I love this cut. I love the execution of this card. It's just wonderful. I mean, clearly, if it was cheaper like a four mana two two or something, that would be way better because it gives you more money. More gold, mana gold is mana. Gold is in rumble and battleground. It's more currency to play with with this sandwich. So, seven mana is a lot. And it's, I think, an indication that cards really good if you make it too cheap. So, what an amazing card. Anyway, where were we? Paladin and Rogue reveals. Now, a lot of these were revealed a while ago and I just missed them doing other stuff, which is fine. So, we'll gloss over some of these cards because, obviously, I've spent a bit of time on the right cleaver. But they're pretty cool. So, Rogue cards. Let's have a look here. Let's zoom in on this helpful image provided by Ben Heathstone. Follow him on Twitter and Instagram if you don't already. Although I blink on a blink, I believe on Instagram. I think I said, I got that word. Blinky, by the way, is one of the sometimes hosts of the Overthinking podcast, which is a favourite podcast of mine. If you don't, I mean, I can understand why you wouldn't listen to it. I've never heard of it. But I enjoy it. It's largely two to three guys who just love over thinking pop culture. What's the catchphrase? It's like, "Scrut need to things that they probably don't otherwise deserve." I can't remember it. Anyway, I love it. I love listening to it. And Matt Polinkie is one of the occasional hosts on that. Anyway, where are we? Okay. Oh, manager. What a weird Rogue spell this is. It's a two-minute spell. Oh, comma, manager, twice, Matt. So clearly, Rogue's getting there. There, I would like to complain to the manager energy on. Deal two damage. Combo, get a coin. It's pretty simple. Like, two mana, we like three damage, right? This is not there. But coins are very valuable, especially to rogues. At the very least, two mana for two damages. Okay. I mean, it's actually just not good enough, really, but like it'll do. And getting a coin very strong, though. To combo something for one mana is something with combo that cost one mana is easier to do. So combo that cost two mana is a bit harder, but it's not impossible. Anyway, moving on. A petty theft. It's another two-minute Rogue spell. Neither of these have types, by the way, because we know that that can come up with these days. Get two random one-cost spells from other classes. So petty theft is just generating value. One-cost spells are not traditionally great, and sometimes they can be awkward. I mean, actually, the most infamous awkward one-cost spell is deadly poison, which is a rogue one. So you're not going to get that. And also, you're a rogue. You can make most use of it. It's when druid gets deadly poison, they're like, "Oh, really? I'll give the weapon that I don't have." Okay, nothing, then. All right. So petty theft. I mean, it's generating value. In the very least, you can play petty theft on turn two and your valor oxon on turn three. Like, that's a thing, I guess. Anyway, moving on. Nick and Akshak. Nick and Akshak is their location. Three mana, four durability. That's a lot. Draw a card. If you play at this turn, reopen this. Clearly, we're looking at a cheap rogue deck here. You're probably looking to probably play this on turn three and maybe use it. Maybe. You probably can't play it. I mean, that's okay. Turn four, maybe you're just doing some stuff. Turn five, then you're like, "All right, let's draw a card, and we can definitely play it so that we can reopen it and draw another card, and then we can maybe play it. You just got to draw a bunch of cards." And quickly, I don't know if there's still a playhouse giant deck now that celestial projection has just been nerfed. I've just reminded us of some other news. Oh my God, I knew I'd forgotten something. Oh, we are going to have to gloss over these cards because Splish Flushwell has been banned from standard. I knew this was coming. They gave the creator program a slight heads up yesterday. Just heads up were banning Splish Flushwell. Drew, it's clearly too good in standard. I've got a statement here on my phone. I even forgot that I'd say that. I'm not going to read it because what is? But they banned it because Drew is too good, and they're worried that Drew would be too good, would just overshadow the launch of Perils and Paradise. Completely understand that's the correct response. It's unusual. I trust you'll agree, but it is what it is. And of course, at the first balanced window after Perils and Paradise, they will reevaluate where the Splish Flushwell needs to stay banned, or whether it can be balance changed, or whether it can just go back to normal, we'll see. But that's a big thing. How did I get on to that? I don't know. Distracted. Anyway, moving on to Metal Detector 3-minute 2-2 after your hero attacks and kills a minion, you get a coin. 3-minute 2-2, not specifically great for a weapon, but it'll do. Killing a minion isn't so hard. You can run something else to a minion. First to soften it up if you want. Getting a coin is okay. Obviously, you want to be playing the kind of rogue deck that really likes to have coins. There you go. It's a rare, by the way. Nick Nickshack was a rare. The other two are common. Moving on to Sea Shrill, 3-minute 3-2 pirate. Common Battlecry, the next card you play from a non-run class costs 2 less. So, this is a similar thing we had from Mage as well, and Shaman doing this kind of stuff. So, assuming the spell that you're playing from another class costs 2, this thing effectively is a 1-minute 3-2. It's pretty good that you have to play in 2-3. There's no combo required. It's a pirate. You're pretty happy to play it. It's got to be a spell from another class, but like, it's doable. Now, if we're playing this with Petty Theft, you're only saving 1-minute, probably, because it's 1-minute spells, but still, this is not nothing, and it's a reasonable little thing. It doesn't have Russia or anything like that, but still. Next up, we have an epic Swarly Sword Shiner. Well, it is a mouthful. 3-minute 3-3 battlecry, set the attack and durability of your weapon 2-3. I mean, 2-3 sound like numbers there, but only the 3 is the number. So, we can hear a power on turn 2 and just sit and say, "Hey, nah mate's your turn on." No, you can keep that 1-health minion over there, bro. I don't care. On my turn, I'm going to play a 3-minute 3-3, and now my weapon's a 3-3. A 3-3 weapon is surprisingly good, especially if you only pay 2-minute for it at the turn 4. Like, you just go face with it 3 times now. That's 9 damage. That adds up. This is a strong card. It's also a pirate, obviously. Moving on, we have a rare pirate, 4-minute 4-4 battlecry. Replay the last card you've played from another class. That's powerful. Now, 4-minute 4-4 slightly lower stats than what you want for the cost, so we're pretty happy to have a battlecry. This is a value battlecry. The only downside is that sometimes you're going to have it on 4 and you won't have played a card from another class. But the ceiling on this could be so incredibly high. Like, the cards you've played from another class could just be like an 8-mana card. You're like, "Okay, I'm just going to play it again." People are going to like, "Oh, that's a lot of..." So, clearly, we are leaning into having stuff from other classes. The old pirate rogue, as it were, the thief rogue. This could be very strong. Moving on to the rogue legendary, which is the Warlock Tourist Maestra, Mask Merchant. That's a lot of the enemies. 6-minus 6-5. Okay, that's fine. Battlecry, discover a hero card from the past from another class. Right? Okay. So, we can't get the rogue one, I guess. And if we're a Warlock Tourist, we can't get a Warlock one? No, no, no, because you're still a rogue if you're playing this. You can't play this as a Warlock. You need to play this as a rogue. And unless you play Warlock cards, like the ones we revealed and so on. So, look, 6-minus 6-5, discover a hero card is powerful, but slow. And, you know, who knows how good the hero card is? I mean, I guess when you're discovering a hero card, you don't have to pick the bad one. You pick the good one, and which everyone's going to sit your circumstances. And there can be some interesting old hero cards. Overall, this is just going to be an interesting card that people enjoy playing. I'm not sure how well it fits, and I'm not sure how much Rogue wants Warlock cards, but I guess if you're adding, "Hello, puppy! Hello, we're all wet, aren't you excited?" I think, overall, that Rogue's just happy to add Warlock cards to the deck because they want cards from other classes to be cheaper. So, Maestra, Mask Merchant, probably going to see a lot of play. All right, moving on to the other legendary Treasure Hunter Eudora. 6-minus 4-5, that's not what we want. Battlecry, go on a side quest to discover amazing loot, play three cards from other classes to complete it. That's not as easy as it sounds, because the side quest isn't starting immediately, like you've got to play Eudora first, then you have to play three cards from other classes. The cards are treasures from, like, Kazigazan, from Jules, that kind of stuff. Those are powerful cards, more powerful than what you'd expect in standard for the cost, so they're worth it. But at 6-minus 4-5, there's a lot to be playing for this. It does seem like a very fun card, though. I can see how people are going to enjoy doing this. And I believe you get two treasures when you complete it, or maybe it's a side quest that I haven't really looked. But it could be quite powerful. Anyway, moving on to Snatchin' Grab, which is an epic 8-maner spell, destroy two random enemy minions. I mean, that's a good deal. I mean, 8-maners to do it, it's not a great deal. It costs one less for each card you've played from another class. So this isn't this turn. This isn't like whatever that spell was to summons a couple of four drops. This is just every time you play something for another class, it's lost less and less. How much do we want to pay for a spell that destroys two random enemy minions? I think 5-maner is fair. So once we get down to 5, we're like, okay, yeah, all right. Yeah, but I'll do that. That's a pretty good actually. And anything less than that, you're like, this is a bonds a deal mate. So slam it down and smash those opponents. Just to off-note, the Paladin tourist is the one who's taking rogue stuff. Sorry, the Paladin rogue tourist. Sun, snap and Linessa, 5-maner, 2-6 rogue tourist. You spells that cost two or less cast twice. That's clearly going to work very well with some of these rogue things that are cheap. So I mean, how many do we have here? We've got O-Maninger. I mean, that works well. And Petty Theft. That's O-Maninger. So Sun, keep it on Linessa when you're a Paladin and you play O-Maninger, which is the two damage, get a coin, if you combo it. Well, Linessa did that. Well, that's not free, is it? So it cast twice. But like, now you pay 2-maner with Linessa and play to deal 2 damage, something twice and get 2 coins. And then when you play the coins, they make double mana because they're casting twice. Kind of exciting. Anyway, let's move on from rogue to Paladin. And again, we have touched on some of these cards because they're awesome. Divine Brew, 1-maner rear holy spell, holy is important. There's a holy glow sticks or something. I'm maybe getting the card names confused from the mini set, right? Well, first there was that spell that was 4-maner to do a 4 damage with the lyse steel. And if you played a holy spell, this turn, it cost 1 instead, right? That's pretty good value. And then there was the minion. What was it? Like a 3-maner 3-3 with Gigantifier? So there was an 8-maner 8-8 version. And they each cost 1 less for each holy spell you played this game. Like, that first one isn't reducing a lot in a hurry. But that second one, the 8-maner 8-8 is going to get real cheap real quick. This is a holy spell. It's pretty good. Divine Brew, 3 drinks left. So you get to play this 3 times. Give a character. Divine Shield, if it already has one, give it +1 attack this turn. So, like, the Divine Shield doesn't seem to be this turn. Looks like just give something Divine Shield for 1-maner. That's reasonable. When you're repellent, you can make use of that kind of thing. Minions with Divine Shield are hard to deal with. They trade well. And they just attack into something and the shield goes away and they survive. So, Divine Brew being 1-maner is nice and cheap and easy. You just like reapply a shield to that one. Give a shield to this one. Do it whenever I feel like it. When I've got some mana free, easy peasy lemon squeezy. If you've got plenty of extra mana and you've got something you want to shield up and attack with, you can just use the extra brews to give it +1 attack as well for this turn. And that doesn't sound like a lot, but if a minion is coming at you with +2 attacking Divine Shield, it's going to take something down and live to tell the tale. So, that's an exciting little spell. It doesn't seem like much, but those Divine Shields will add up and the holy things will reduce those cards from the mini set. Life-saving aura, 1-maner, holy. At the end of your turn, get a 1-cost sunscreen and it gives +1 +2 last 3 turns. So, this is holy. The sunscreens aren't, they haven't been blessed or ordained or anything like that. But this is at least another holy spell. And 1-maner for an aura that just gives you 3 sunscreens over 3 turns. Pretty reasonable. You had to pay for the sunscreens, but this is a bit like bunch of bananas. Not quite as good or flexible as bunch of bananas. Slightly more expensive to play than bunch of bananas, but the buffs are bigger. And bunch of bananas is incredibly good, right? So, like, we can't expect it to be as good as that. And it's still, I think, very good. Next up, we have serving ace. This is an epic 3-manop. I've got to minimise, excellent. Epic 3-manop 3-3, no minion time. After this minion gains attack, reduce the cost to the highest cost card in your hand by one. I mean, using divine brew to give it +6 or attack is not the most efficient way to do it, but there are definitely ways you can give this attack. I mean, just thinking, remember differentisation, aura, that thing they got nerfed really hard. The aura that gives you a left-most minion +1 attack in life still used to be +3 attack. You have the service ace. By the way, I believe the guy in the card is a bit swole, but also a bit dead bodice, where we all respect and understand that. He's spinning a volleyball on his hand, so clearly he's been playing volleyball on the beach. Love that. So, he's in play. After this minion gains attack, reduce the cost to the highest cost card in your hand by one. So, you could have this over on the left, right? No, deputisation aura is given +1 attack. We reduced the highest cost card in the hand. Now you play another minion to the left of that. Well, he's lost the + attack. Doesn't make the card more expensive in your hand. That's only how he's got the bonus now. And if that minion goes away, because it's traded in, or been removed, or something like that, well, Jeff's just got the +1 attack again, and he's going to reduce another card. So, each time that triggers, it's going to reduce something. So, if you have ways of doing that, you can't move things around in play, but you can play things in movement. You'd want rush minions that come to play and then die immediately to keep triggering Jeff, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. Pretty sweet. Moving on from Jeff, sorry, service ace. Volumol. I believe we have touched on this. 3-3-2-2-Wippen, after that's common, after your hero attack, skid a 1-cost sunscreen, gives +1+2. Just two more sunscreens. So, you can see why sunscreens aren't holy, because we'll be reducing things that say for every holy thing you've played, reduce it immediately, with this much sunscreens flying around. Next up, we have Grillmaster, 4-4-0 Velcroy. Draw your lowest cost card, death rate will draw your highest cost card. At the very least, we have a 4-4 that draws two cards. Now, one of them may not be very playable, because it's expensive, but draw two cards is totally fine. And you draw expensive cards sometimes. This is what happens. I can't play this yet, but it's fine. Drawing them is not the end of the world. So, it's a powerful card, 4-3-4, death rate will draw two cards. Of course, it's not just that, is it? Because you're going to want the most expensive card for some reason. There have been pallet and decks that don't want to draw the most expensive card, but that's because they want to reveal it off the top and do things. This isn't that, but any deck that has a key piece at the top end of their curve - Reno Learn Ranger, anybody - is going to be very happy to be playing this. I've got Reyna on 10 every time, mate. Easy peasy. Next up, we have Lifeguard, 4-1-2-7 Taunt. Battlecry, the next spell you cast has Lifesteel. And that's if the Lifeguard's gone. 4-1-2-7 Lifesteel with Taunt. I mean, this doesn't have Lifesteel, right? It's just 4-1-2-7 with Taunt. Like, that's a little brick wall. Some stuff's going to run into that and not die, but that's okay. The next spell you play could be Consecration to finish off anything that ran into the Lifeguard and gain you a heap of health. Not nothing. Rare, by the way. Next up, we have Sankasal. Oh, we do love Sankasal. I remember the episode I did with the accident, we had the gain meter up too high on the thing that was all distorted, and I was yelling, "Sankasal, good times, good times." I like the sound of this card. This card seems pretty good. Every time you attack with this, you give Jeff. What's some attack, and he makes things cost less. Sankasal is a 5-minute 3-8 with Rush after this attack soon to a location. The location is also Sankasal. I give a friendly minion +3 attack and Rush turn back into the mini. The location removes where it's been used this time so you don't get to just keep doing it, but pretty sweet. And of course, if you buff Sankasal's attack as a minion, the amount of attack the location give is increased as well. Strong card, solid build around, hand buff paladins like, "Yes, please. Yes, please." Anyway, some people in this, we just spoke about that with Rogue, so we know what she is. She's obviously pretty good. She's going to be casting those sunscreens twice. She's sitting there sandbaking on the beach, so I'm not surprised she's applying it twice. Next up, we have Power Spike. This is an expensive Holley spell, 6 mana, common, Holley. Deal 4 damage. Give a random friendly minion +4 +4. The rate is fine. 6 mana to deal 4 damage is not great, but if you are giving something +4 +4, like, the value's there, it's just hard to really make the most of it. Like, if you have only one minion play, easy peasy. If you have no minions in play, you don't really want to play this. You've got to try and get a minion first, and that can be awkward. The floor on this is going to feel pretty gross, but like, the ceiling, they have no minions. You have a minion at the start of your turn, 4 damage to the face, +4 +4 on my minion. That's going to add up really quickly. So, I mean, it's called Power Spike. The picture shows the volleyball with a hand, and it's a beefy hand. I'm assuming it's Jeff's coming into this. That could be pretty good. The last Paladin card is Sea Shanty. 10 mana epic. Summon 3, 5, 5 pirate pirates. There's raindrops on my screen. Or spittle. I'm not sure which it is. It could be me from talking too excitedly about San Castle. 3, 5, 5 pirates. 10 mana 3, 5, 5 pirates is okay. That's 15, 15 worth of stats. It's more like 15, 5 worth of stats, because they don't survive that much. Cost one less for each spell you've cast on characters this game. All right, so it's going to cost a lot less for the sunscreen we've been applying. We don't have a lot of ways of cheating the sunscreen. Linessa doubling up the sunscreen should count though. Maybe. I don't really know. As long as you're playing a bunch of sunscreen, this is probably going to be like 5 mana to summon 3, 5, 5s, and that's a very good deal. Like, strong stuff. Just the last minute reminder, of course, on the mage tourist that's touring Paladin, that would be Ryla Sandsculptor, 4 mana 2, 5, Paladin tourist. After you cast spell, summon a random 2 cost minion and give it divine shield. Like, really plays into what Paladin's doing. I mean, it's not how this works, right? It's mage. Mage doesn't do what Paladin does, but this makes mage play a bit like Paladin, I guess. And having cheap spells from the Paladin class, I mean, sound like those mages that are going to enjoy some sunscreen and having lots of extra-ville minions. Good make that work. Like, if you're playing Ryla as a 4 mana 2, 5, and you have 1 mana left over, and you immediately apply some sunscreen, she becomes a 3, 7. That's pretty hard to remove, even at 5 mana. And she's already summoned a random 2 drop with divine shield. That's going to add up real quick. If you're doing 2 and 6, you do 2 sunscreens, and you're just sunscreening up Ryla, that's going to get nasty. Anyway, all right. So we're officially caught up on the reveals that I passed on last week because I was, I don't know, distracted. But we still got more. Obviously, we've got Demon Hunter revealed overnight, which I haven't really looked at yet. I see a lot of people gushing about, Hirana, so you'll love that. I think I had a look at it. We should have enough to be able to do two classes per episode to finish, and that'll be this week. I assume there's going to be a patch next week that puts them into the client, and I'm assuming that it'll be an arena. That's what they've done for the last few expansions. And so next week, obviously next week, the Tuesday episode will be recorded early, but come Thursday next week, I'm guessing we're just going to do an arena run or two, and to play with some of the new cards, because I have really enjoyed doing that every expansion. I know it's a completely different feel from what's going on on the ladder, but yeah, it'll be fun. Speaking of ladder, where am I? Diamond 5 or 4 in twist. Oh, yeah, that's the other thing that's got banned. Thorim's got banned. So Thorim and Twist is banned because it's kind of bugged. It's also really good. It may not be the best hero. I think the best hero is Marin, but Thorim is really good at his Marin. Thorim is basically even shaman. I want mine to hero power somebody to totem. We'll say you have a peasant that gives all your totems plus to attack. So just an endless stream of two totems. And if you're overloaded, you have to hero power someone's two, but the bug is that if you're overloaded once, and even if your overload goes away, which it always does, the hero power just stays stuck on summoning two. And it doesn't always happen. I played Thorim the other day because obviously it was really good, and I wanted to beat up on some Marin's. I beat up on Stincy, multiple masters to a competitive. They were playing Marin, I was playing Thorim. It is what it is. But anyway, Diamond 4 and Twist, because of that. And I feel like at least one game, my overload wore off, and my hero power went back to summoning one, and I was like, huh, I thought it was bugged. So perhaps not all the way bugged. I then played an overload spell, felt a bit silly, one anyway. But I kind of knew this ban was coming, so I stopped playing Twist, but I'm a bit diamond for and Twist. We'll see how this shapes up now. In wild, I've climbed a little bit, playing the spell, even hunter again, because I just like that. And in standard, I've done a little bit of climbing, like I had a quest a couple of nights ago that made sense to play Dragon Druid, which I played. And I was also like, I know the special world ban is coming, feels a little rude to do the spell, so I just didn't want to play very much until that. Like in theory, the expansion comes out, what, 23rd July? Do I want to save the entire standard climb till after 23rd July? Maybe not the entire thing, but I don't want to do very much of it until then. Wild, technically, I can't deny there is at least one Demon Hunter card revealed today that I could put in my wild Demon Hunter deck. And that that doesn't ties me a little bit to think about maybe saving Wild until then as well. So I guess between now and the 23rd, I'm going to finish a Twist legend climb. I'm probably going to play some Marina unless they break something and it doesn't happen, but like a lot of that. And then standard and wild after the 23rd might be a bit of a hard push, but we'll see how we go. I'll probably try to get to at least Diamond 10, if not Diamond 5 in both Wild and standard going into the 23rd, just to give myself a reasonable kicking off point, but that's where we're at. Now, our train's just gone because I was waffling. What a surprise. 1330 episodes and he was waffling. Yeah, clearly. Clearly, I have demonstrated a willingness to waffle. Big week at work this week as well, by the way. We have our team meeting fortnightly on a Tuesday, which is why I have to go into the office on Tuesday, which is why I record today. Apparently, it's my turn to chair the meeting today. Every time I chair the meeting where I was like, "You're really good at this. You should do it all the time." And part of me's like, "No, I don't want to do it all the time. Also, I know why I'm good at this, but I don't want to know why I'm good at this because I don't want anyone to go. What do you mean? You've got a podcast, that kind of thing. Also, we alternate basically you do the minutes the week before, the fortnight before, and then you do the chair. So I did the minutes last time and I hate doing minutes. I've done minutes plenty of times in previous roles and I just don't like it. And if somebody were to suggest today, after the meeting, we have again today, you're really good at this meeting stuff. And I'm going to go, "Yeah, all right, okay, I will chair all the meetings if you make me never do minutes again." I'd actually kind of consider that. It's probably quite painless to chair the meeting compared to doing the minutes. Anyway, we'll get that. Also, at the end of the week, I'm going to be on an interview panel. I've done it before, basically, they're interviewing for someone around the road, like part of the university, is the Chris O'Brien Lighthouse, which is a cancer clinic, I believe. It's quite well regarded. Chris O'Brien is obviously a leader in the field and all that stuff. They're interviewing for someone and when the university interviews, they've got to have two people from within the unit that you're applying for a job at. And one, the external to that unit, but in the university, just as like, it's more impartial. Like, you know how it is. Like, let's say you're on an interview panel with your boss, right? And your boss says, "I think we should take applicant B." You're like, "Yes, sir, please, sir, applicant B." Whereas they want to bring someone else from outside who's like, "I don't even know either of you." And I reckon it's C. So that's what I'm going to be doing on Friday afternoon. So a big week, though, exciting. And now there's a train here. I actually get on this one. So, time to sign off. I've seen that promotional codes have started going out. I'm assuming I will get some. Follow me on Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube @blisterguy and follow the podcast, walk to work, H.S. on Twitter, if you want to get a chance to win some of those, I suspect. And of course, come hang out and discord.me/blisterguy. That's probably the best place to try and win some codes. Assuming I get them, which I'm pretty sure I will. It's always a pleasure to have you join me for my walk to work. Good luck, everyone. And everything you do, because you're absolutely bloody legends you are. And I love you all. And I just realised I didn't change the better end of the recording device. It hasn't gone flat, but my gosh, I better remember to do that to mine. [Music] [Music]
