G'day, friends, it's Blister Guy and this is episode 1327 of Walk to Work with Mobile Hearthstone podcast. What, our reveal? Yes, our reveal at Wild Legends Storytime that, actually, there's rather too much to cover today, actually. Just way too much. And when I look at the length of time that the final boss in Wild took, if we're going to recount that, which I'm pretty sure I'm going to, that's already in a 11-minute-long match. Hopefully it won't take that long, but it's going to be a big one. Now, let's just get this out of the way. In case I forget, of course, Patreon, thank you, patreon.com/blisterguy, if you can afford to support the work we do. Today we're thanking Oblix1847, and I always love this one, because it reminds me of the Tinton Books and Asterix Books I read when I was a kid, which brings back memories. So before we get on to the other stuff, let's just talk some sad news first. The Hearthstone community lost a very special person over the weekend, Brandon Cole, known as Super Blind Man. If you haven't heard this name before, I don't want to say instrumental, but they were certainly the first name I saw from the Vision Impaired Community of Hearthstone, Front and Centre. He was a big proponent, I guess is the word, supporter. I just helped get all that going. I know he wasn't the one that was coding the Hearthstone access thing, but he was certainly the interface we had through all to that. So I don't think we can overstate just how much of an impact Brandon has had on the Hearthstone community, especially for people with Vision impairment issues. He was incredible. He was one of the best of us, and we've had him too short, and he's gone, so that's very sad. And on top of that, not to be outdone, the magic community is reeling, not from a loss yet, but from the news that KaiBoude, who apparently has had cancer, and has been told now that it's basically terminal. Now KaiBoude is up there with the best in the game. He's widely considered, if not to be the best, then the second best of all time, it made it a gathering. The best would probably be John Finkle, but at times, even that is up for debate. Knowing as the German juggernaut, he's still very good. For the longest time, people like Kai didn't ever have to play in proto-qualifies and things, and apparently at proto-amstammer of the weekend, where he announced this, he then just won a proto-qualify, just just went and won it, because he could. They've renamed the Player of the Year award to the KaiBoude Player of the Year award, which is completely fitting. I've met Kai once. I've spoken with him online a few times over the years. A lovely guy. The worst news to be hearing this about people, you don't really want to hear about the people you love and admire being, I guess, confronted with things like this, but it just is a stark reminder that the people we love and admire, we should cherish them, and the time we do have with them. Anyway, I don't want to say, and anyway, let's move on to other stuff, but I kind of want to, because I don't want to dwell on it too much, and I'm sure both people would prefer that we moved on and tried to enjoy the hobbies and things that we did, so anyway. So what have we got? We got a reveal. Our reveal went up yesterday. It's been well received, and of course, I got Legend and Wild, so let's just touch on the Legend and Wild thing briefly. I talked about it a bit last episode. I did play the spell Demon Hunter. My record from Diamond 5 and 1 Star, because I think you remember I talked about how I was trying the Excel version, it just wasn't working, that's trying druid decks, it wasn't working, so I was around the Diamond 5 floor at the time. I went 19 and 3 to Legend with the non-Excel version, which is consistent with the last time I played it to Legend and March as well. I don't understand how the deck is so cracked, it's absurd. More people should play it. I guess, in theory, there are some unfavourable matchups. The three losses were Mechathun druid. They just had a very good draw and ramped, and just pulled off the Mechathun combo, it's a lot of APM. Necrodan mentioned in Discord, you must have been jealous of that. Yeah, but I don't think I pulled off the APM, it was absurd. Like at some point early on, they played Penton of Earth and gained like 8 Health, and I was like, that's a bit suspicious. Usually they're doing that to find a brand, to find an Auctioneer, and then they paid 7 mana for an Auctioneer and were like, was there no brand in here, I don't understand. And of course, the 8 Health came from the Mechathun that they had to go with. Anyway. I also lost two, what was the other one? Was it Quest Mage? I think it was a Quest Mage, doing Ignite things, I think I did. I made notes about this somewhere, and I can't find them readily. I probably can't actually find them. But I know the other one was an Elwinbor Rogue of all things, like that is not a deck that you hear about. That is not a readily available wild combo deck, and basically I was attacking them early. They drew a bunch of cards, specifically, you know, when you're drawing things that draw your minions, you get the pieces together. And then they played the original Sonja, which is the 3 mana 2/2, which is whenever you have a 1/1. But no, it's whenever a minion of yours dies, return a 1/1 for 1 version to your hand. They had some kind of minion that gave beasts rush. I thought there was a hunter-specific 1 bunny stomper, maybe it's neutral, I don't remember. But maybe it was bunny stomper, like these cards came out pretty quickly, and there was something that said "stuff costs one less" from your hand. So these Elwinbors were rushing in, dying, I'm going past the worksite, they're hammering away. The Elwin doors were dying, coming back for a 0 mana and attacking, and I'm like, okay, so you draw a whole bunch of cards, then you can play this out, and now you have the sort of, what is it called? I can't remember, it's the South Park meme thing, right? Anyway, take me 15 over to the 0 mana, and I'm like, well, I guess I can attack you for a little bit, except, but not much, right? Because those Elwinbors are rushing in to minions I have, so if I didn't have minions in play, they wouldn't be able to do this. And so they rushed into a whole bunch of minions I had, attacked me down to 0 mana, and I didn't win. But that wasn't where there were only three losses. Let's see, here's the chair, here it is, here it is. I think, I think, I don't know, no, no, this is not, it wasn't a quest I made, I asked to beat in the quest mages that I thought, it was an even Reno shaman, so you know when you're playing an even shaman, because they have the Gengrain main trigger at the start, and they're doing even shamany things, and their draw didn't seem particularly bad or anything, it was just a good stuff, but on turn 6 they played Reno Jackson, and Reno Jackson was live. Is that okay? Oh, actually, no, before that even, they played Zephyrus on like 4 or something, or turn 5, Zephyrus on turn 5, getting lightning stone to clear off the 4, 3, 3 demons with life deal that I'd gotten from, I can't even know what the spell's called, I could probably look it up pretty easily, because I have the deck list up, because I close the deck list to the patrons, here we go, here's the deal with the devil, the one that's summoned in 2, 3, 3 demons with life steal for 5 mana, but if your deck has no minions summoned 2 more, like I summoned 4 of those on turn 5 against a even shaman and I'm not dead, you're feeling pretty good, until what they do is go Zephyrus, take lightning stone, clear your board and you're like, "Really?" Okay, and then it mustn't have been 2 turns later, they played Reno, and I'm like, "You just healed to full, okay?" I'm like, "Look, and don't get me wrong, this deck has beaten a bunch of Reno Jackson's, like, especially from 40 health deck lists, like Reno Shaman, I've healed up to 40 from 15, but I'm still dying, yeah, yeah, I don't know what it is, but decks just can't deal with the spell Demon Hunter stuff, I don't get it, it just works, and it's a lot of fun to play, so I enjoyed it, and we'll go over the final boss match, which seems like it's going to be anticlimactic, because I believe the opponent was AFK for the first 2 turns, which says a lot, given it went long, but anyway, we'll get to that, because we should talk about the reveal, and I should maybe review the cards actually, but maybe that can actually wait till the next episode, because I guess if we're going to be short on time this episode, but the reveal itself, again, thank you to Blizzard for enabling it. The first time I got a reveal, we did not have a lot of time to work on it, it was like, "Do you want to reveal a card, is it?" Yeah, okay, and I remember Gert, not a real name, she's 3 now, was a newborn, so little baby, she's been 2 months old or something, and Mongoose and I had been going to a local reserve to run up and down the bush, just to get out of the house, give mum some space of Gert, that kind of thing, and so I was like, "Well, we could go and record something there, yeah, that'll work." And so we came up with an idea, well I came up with an idea, that point Gert was not really paying any attention to any of that, and we executed it, and it turned out better than we expected, so we got another one, put more work into that one, and so on, and so on, so each time we'd put more work into it than the last, but of course it became very apparent that with a limited window, it becomes very difficult to actually execute anything well. You can come up with a good idea, but it gets difficult. Now you may remember from the last one for Whismings Workshop, I'd started experimenting with physical props, which again, takes set up time, like I have to get down to the local office works, use their colour printers to print out the assets, like why don't you buy your own colour printers, like I think we all know, if you've ever owned a colour printer at home, that they're terrible, the quality is not great, the ink runs out very quickly, and the ink costs like a billion dollars, like the scammers the printer seems okay at cost, but the recurring ink subscriptions that were just detrimental, whereas I can go down to office works, I can spend five or six dollars Australian, it's not that much I guess, like you know, when your lunch is ten to fifteen dollars, I can spend not very much money and print off all the assets I want in very good quality colour, and so you know, I can do that, but I've got to get down to the office works to do it, then I've got to get it home, trim it up, cut it up, stick it to the card, this time I got a piece of card foam thing, so it was like an A1 sheet, I just remember of course that a lot of the American audience don't use that, but A4 is what we use for letter size, which isn't actually the same as letter size, the US use letter, but imagine a sheet of paper is A4, double that is A3, and double that again is A2, and double that again is A1, so we're talking about, let's see, two, four, eight, hang on, so two is A3, four is A2, so eight, eight sheets of paper, a large piece of card, so it's like black, basically thick black paper on either side with foam in the middle, it's black, and it's about, here I go, it's a bit symmetric number, but it's about three or four millimetres thick, which is, is it quarter of an inch, it's probably a less than that, maybe a sixth of an inch, I don't know, anyway, and I thought that would be a good substance to use, what I'd been doing previously was just using cardboard that I'd scrounge from boxes, from deliveries and things like that, and then having to like paint the edges of the cardboard black once it was attacked, and that was taking time, so I was like, what if I just spent some money on some decent board and attached it to that, there's another substance I wanted to try, which is like a craft foam that like cosplayers use to create things, that is slightly more flexible, I don't know how well it will cut, I know that the foam board that I was using this time was blunting my scalpel blades quite quickly, because it's like a, the polystyrene type foam, but you know, I'm experimenting with the materials, but it takes a bit, but anyway, I need a lot of set up time to be doing this, so like huge shout outs and thank you to the Blizzard crew locally and abroad for helping get the assets to me early enough to be able to work on this, I know I had the card assets for, that I was working with prior to the announcement of the expansion, so technically no one else in the creative discord, but no, I, I don't know for sure, maybe some of the others also like, I had to imagine that, who else was doing it, there's, there was somebody who did a cartoon recently, I imagine they may have gotten a bit more heads up, the, the raunchy, apparently they have a reveal coming up in the next few days or so, I imagine they get their assets ahead of time as well, so I don't think I'm being terribly cheeky, but like I knew what the expansion was and the cards I was going to be revealing prior to the expansion reveal to the content created discord, which is, of course, a couple of days before it's announced to everyone publicly. And that's just so that, you know, your old guardians and your zetties and, and the like, can whip up their videos ahead of time, ready to go on the like, like it works for everyone. So, so really appreciative of that, they gave me enough time to look at the cards, try and come up with a theme, come up with a script around that, then do all the, the props and everything on with it, because obviously I have to come up with the script first, before I know what props I need to be preparing and printing and cutting and gluing, and then we have to be able to coordinate getting to somewhere to film. So obviously with this theme, I knew well in advance from, remember the, the snapshot thing, the little preview thing that they sent out. So like, we know that the next expansion seems to be something through the constellation, so I'm already thinking space stuff, like, and I knew this one looked very beachy, so I like, okay, I guess we can go down to the beach. Big downside to that, of course, and I think I mentioned this a few episodes back, maybe in a few weeks back now, was that it was cold day at the beach. It was, which made it difficult. Like, I've got little outtakes of clips, which I am, I'm not going to post anywhere, of mongoes, standing next to me at the camera going, it's really cold, my feet are frozen, I'm like, me too, I'm so sorry. But anyway, so we went down to the beach, we filmed, I tried to film, so I previously had a thing where we'll have on camera stuff where we're filming and recording the dialogue for that. And then we'll have voice over stuff. And then I realized when you record the voice over stuff separately from where you're recording your out in the world dialogue, it sounds totally very, very different. And that was jarring to me. I mean, most people who watch it probably don't know to spook here. But to me I was like, oh, that's no good. So I've been, I was trying to, like with the whizbang one, we were kneeling down in the living room playing with the toys and things. And I was like, okay, well, while we're here, we're also recording the voice over dialogue so that it tried to sound consistent. So I tried to do the same thing at the beach. So we're standing there in front of the camera filming our stuff. And then we're also doing the voice over. But what became apparent, and I think you remember this from last week, was that the voice over stuff we record on the beach was completely unusable because the voice over stuff I like to have the expansion things, backing music under it. And combined with the waves in the background, it became a cacophonous mess. And I was like, ah, so we had to rerecord the voice over dialogue. And it's not perfect. But, you know, we're talking last minute stuff here. And so, you know, it came together. And overall, like the reveal, I'm very happy with how it came together. Like the idea, the props worked quite well. The little filming things that I tried to do with the health drinks, I tried to do a little, some little cuts to make it look like stuff like the little umbrella, which is like a beetle or something on the cup. And when I go to touch it, it turns into the flying version beetle, which involved me holding my hand as still as I could. And Mongoose going around the other side of the camera and trying to move one cockroach out or beetle or whatever it is out and then put the other one in while me trying to stay perfectly still as possible, which is very difficult apparently. And I was like, because I said, I was like, okay, if I have to move my hips at all to accommodate you walking around me to move the beetle, it's going to move my hand. So you need to be like, as soon as we're placed, you need to be going into the other side of the table so you're not near me while I'm holding my hand, that kind of thing. And it worked better than I could have hoped, I guess. Like, you'll notice one of the drinks falls over in spills, just little things. It was fun to try and come up with that. As far as the overall script of it, I looked at the cards. And what I do is just like, okay, so these are the cards I'm revealing. We probably want to finish on the legendary. How do we get to the legendary? What's the narrative here? And so it was pretty straightforward to do announced darkness. Like, it's not really thematically tied to the other cards we were so it's like, we're just open with that. And then I noticed that in the announced darkness art, he's holding a green drink. So I was like, what's that weird green drink? It's like, okay, well, the health drinks. Okay, that works. So how do we move on to the sacrificial imp? Well, the token from sacrificial imp, maybe it looks like he's been drinking health drinks, because he's your buff. And then how do we, how are we using the sacrificial imp? Well, then we eat the imp to sacrifice it. And then it's like, well, then I know someone else who wants to sacrifice an imp on us, summon a dark man. I was like, okay, well, that's the line that we go through it. And then it's just filling in the blanks. And that, that's, I think, a narrative storytelling thing is to draw out your map from A to Z, and then fill in how it all goes to try and make work. And I think overall, it worked well. There are some hand fitted lines. There's some little things that could be improved, given infinite time, but we never have infinite time. So it is what it is. In the end, I was not satisfied with how the fade out was working after Mongoose has come in with him. And so, like, literally yesterday morning, I concepted it. Well, no, I, I actioned it. I concepted it after midnight the night before laying in bed with my eyes open. Just like a little stop animation thing where I placed the imp there and then placed the salt next to it. And then the imp gets like little exclamation marks over its head and goes, ooh, and then runs out of thing. And I was like, I can probably make that work, just like film the whole thing, and then do cuts between each little stop frame. And in eye movie on your phone, each of those little stops of video is a certain length. If you even if you did images there, it would, that would be a certain length. And it wouldn't transition as well. So I knew I had to use film for each frame. And the way I'd make it work was just do the whole thing, cut it down. So it's each frame. But of course, that version, the imp is very slowly going off screen. And then I just export that, bring it back in, do a cut at the point where the imp starts to start moving, and then speed up that part, export it, because you can only speed it up so fast, bring it back in, cut again, speed that part up again, export it, bring it back in, cut it, speed it again, then I can get to the speed I want. The downside after the fact of uploading the video, I was like, ah, I've got it speeding up too early. I should have spent more time on the imp gaining the exclamation mark and question mark over their head before it scurries off the screen. But that's my only regret to the reveal. Like everything else, I managed to figure out and pull together in time. It was just when I tried to do this thing at the last minute, I was like, if I had one extra day on that, I would have figured out the, ah, the trick to this bit is to slow that bit down, I then go fast. But like, there's no amount of extra time that can help with something like that, because you're just going to be continually tinkering until it's done. But overall, I tried a lot of tricks and things more than I probably needed to, and it still came together, and I had a blast doing it. It's so much fun doing this kind of stuff. Fun fact, when you see the cards laid out at the end, when Mongus is doing the, ah, you know, doing more perils of parallel stuff, ah, I lay the cards out, and as I'm laying there, I was like, look, I'll lay them out, don't worry, you don't put your hand up for this. And she goes, I could get the, the flying bug and fly it across. I was like, actually, yeah, that's pretty good, you should do that. And I wasn't even looking, and she stuck a couple of googly eyes on it, goes, and we could do this, I'm like, okay, yes, that's fantastic, do that. So all of these things came together, like she is actually having more creative input than before, because it used to be, I would come up with the script, I mean, it still is, I come up with the script and the storyboarding, as it were, and I describe it, and she goes, oh, but then we could do this here, and I'm like, we could, but I don't think it works very well, because I've already written it, like, she would have to be in at the writing stage, and I don't think she's very patient for that. But just the fact that little narrative things in the animation, she's actually contributing to that are working, like, ah, it's brilliant, I love it. And then on top of that, she did something with a googly eye, which I'm not going to spoil, that made me go, okay, that's already the idea for whatever the next expansion is, assuming we got our next expansion, and I'm pretty sure the community will ride if we don't. So, oh, no, it's fantastic, and whatever we do for the next expansion, like, it's riffing off something from, like, 80s British TV show, like, 1980s British TV. If you know it, you'll know it, if you don't, it'll still be funny, but it is an homage to that, something that I'd shown her at some point, she's like, we should do this, and I was like, yes, that's perfect, and when you say it, and of course I'll talk through it, and I'll explain what the joke is then, but that's three or four months away. But at least we have the idea, and I'm so happy to say that the genesis of this idea has come from Mongoose, and that's, well, I couldn't ask more, right? Anyway, I did talk about how Wild Legends Storytime, I was going to go through the match-up that I played, so we haven't got as much time, but we're unmuting the phone, we're turning the volume up, let's go in there and just see how we go. There won't be as much pausing through early on, as I mentioned, my opponent was AFK, but that's okay. These things happen now, it's playing, we've got the mute off, it should be any minute, there we go, that'll start queuing, so spell demon hunter, queuing up, hang on, is that the final boss? I think it is, all right, it must be, I'm just sorry to wind that back, yeah, this is the final boss, we're just past the skewer, there is a worthy opponent, let's go. So, Volumus, Illidan versus Tyrande, we are Illidan, they are Tyrande, now this is a fun little thing, I don't know if you heard that way, but that's a different Illidan voice line, I wish you didn't have to see me like this, because Illidan was in love with Tyrande in the storyline, and obviously part of the story that turned Illidan into the demon hunter he was, was like some big self-sacrifice thing to fight demons, and so he's not happy that Tyrande is seeing him as he is now, with the eyes turned to Felfire and all that stuff, and all the tattoos. So I thought that was a neat little thing, anyway, we have an opening hand against a priest, where I was given Fel Barrage, that's two mana, a DL2 damage to the two lowest health enemies on the other side, it can be the worst same enemy, a Feldori warband, which is four mana for four damage, you can go face, and if your deck has no minions, summon four long ones with rush, which is obviously incredibly good value if your deck is alive with them, and the last card I was offered was a mark of score, now a mark of score is quite good, it's two mana draw a card, if it's not a minion, a DL4 damage to the lowest health enemy, that's really good rate of damage, now if I'm assuming that this is a shadow priest and an aggro shadow priest, a mark of score is sometimes good, when they run out a ship's cannon on turn two, and there's nothing else there, because they're just hoping you can't remove it, then the next turn they're going to drop a whole bunch of pirates and do a whole bunch of damage to you, and I found mark of score is just exactly right to take that out, but having the Fel Barrage will also cover that, but could also kill two smaller things if they happen to play them both on turn one, and the mark, sorry the Feldori warband should do a lot of cleanup if that's what we're facing, what is also on the table here is that it's probably shadow Reno priest, so XL, they have a bunch of aggressive stuff, but mostly sort of the mid-rangey sort of thing, so I'm sort of hedging a little bit there, the Feldori warband and the Felbrage excellent damage that will add up over time if it's aggro shadow priest, and not terrible if it's Reno shadow priest, the downside of it's Reno shadow priest, we want to draw a lot of cards, the upside is that if it's aggro shadow priest and they try to find card drawing stuff I might just get overwhelmed by the aggro stuff, so we're keeping stuff that helps us in the matchup we fear the most in the early game, so the mark of score goes, and we get back a going down swinging, going down swinging is fantastic against the aggro shadow priest, so I'm very happy about that, that's the full mana spell this is, you're hearing it's plus to attack and immune this turn and then attacks every enemy minion, if you get to hear about first on five mana obviously you're doing three to all of the minions, and then you can still go face if you like, which is nice, or while you're still immune you can finish off a larger minion if that's what happens, if it's aggro shadow priest they don't tend to have more than three health, so it will clean up everyone on turn five, and I won't have to take any damage in the process, so great card to draw as long as I can get to that point, now I'm just going to let this play, because as I said my opponent is AFK, so we're waiting for the mulligan, in fact let's just scrub through the mulligan a little bit here, I'm watching it, if I let this play out you'd hear me tapping on the screen, but we see Darkwish have been a dick just triggering first, and then Renethale, and it's like oh okay, and of course outside of the Richard triggers, I can't remember if that's what it's called, but that's the one where it takes the three minions I've put in my dick and puts them, remove them, and replace them with bounce holes to discover them, so that's how I get away with a) having minions, and b) not having them in my dick for the stuff that said no minions, and the minions I have are Jochan the Eternal, the Silver Moon Arcanist, and Jay Starkweaver, Jay Starkweaver we've talked about in the last month with Twist, that's the 8-75 replay all of the Fel spells that you've played this game, and it'll target enemies if possible, so that's your end game, you bounce off of that and then play it, and it just plays a whole bunch of the Fel spells you've played, and it's just chaos on the opponent's face, this Silver Moon Arcanist is a 3 mana 2, it gives you +2 spell damage, but you can't target the enemy face with spells in turn, a lot of the spells don't target, they just do damage to the lowest health enemy, but the combo of this is with Unleashed Fel which is the one mana spell, deal 1 damage to all enemies, mana for 6 has life steal, and so if you get to turn 6 and do that you do 3 damage to all the enemies, because of the Arcanist, and gain a heck of a lot of health, so it's something that you can use to really, really to run into the ground, aggressive opponents, and the last one Jochan the Eternal is the first card that anyone who sees the decklist asks about and goes "can we replace that with something better?" and the answer is no, it literally is the best card in the deck and I don't understand why every time I get that and play it with a bounce-all, I discover I play it, the rest of the game is just easy, what Jochan does is for the rest of the game the first card you draw this turn, and a turn if it's a spell, I just cast it for free, I cast a copy of it for free, so I do play Jochan the Eternal if you draw Fan the Hammer, Jochan casts the Fan of Hammer, Jochan doesn't have to be in play, it's for the rest of the game, the Jochan ability casts the Fan the Hammer so it does 6 damage from the lowest health enemies for free, you still have another one in hand, so this is how it all adds up very quickly and you end up doing a heck of a lot of damage, I don't believe the spells cast by the Jochan ability are recast by Jay Starkweaver, it's not used to double-dip that way, but you don't need to, just the extra value you get and because remember the deck is entirely made of spells, there's like one card that isn't a spell and that's the Hero card, Kertress, Ashfallen Kertress, I don't know, you know the one, a 6 mana Hero, that's the only thing it's not a spell, everything else is going to be a spell at that point and when the Jochan ability plays it, you're just free rolling, it's incredible, so there's no way I would cut that and one of the reasons I think the deck works is because of that, one of the reasons I think the XL version was not working was that it was running in the the Bounsel spot, Renethall obviously, so you can be 40 cards, the activities of Zimox as you can do the relic stuff and then Jay Starkweaver, certainly you didn't have the silver moon iconist for the big swinging recovery against aggro and you also didn't have Jochan and that's why I'm convinced the non-exile version is better because of what's in the Bounsel, anyway moving on and we're going to scrub through these early turns while it's at K, I just realized it's kind of damp today and I think I've left my umbrella on, that's a bit of a yolks, anyway scrubbing through these early turns, there's the rope burning out for my opponent, first thing I do is harry power the opponent in turn quickly, the rope burns out again, then I draw, since you'll likely play that harry power the opponent, pass to him back quickly, part of the reason for that is that I'm splitting it back in now, that's because they're going to be afk, get as much in as you can, like the fair thing to do is to let your rope burn out too until they come back, but also don't worry about it, turn three, they finally coin and play positive, so they've come back, they've gone oh gosh, I missed my opening, so what's happened here is they've queued up, the queue time is clearly too long for them, they got distracted, they've probably missed their mulligan, and now they've come back and got ah, but coining out POSIC on turn three is pretty good, so they put a couple of audio bots in my hand, now POSIC of course if I destroy it, we'll put the audio bots in play for them, but I'm not terribly concerned, for a Reno Shadow priest, I feel generally we're favoured, unless they can get a big board going, we have going down swinging in hand, we're a feller I wore band, we now have ah, ah, fury rank one, a little b rank too soon, we have an unleash fail, we have a sigilant lacquerity, now we've got a couple audio bots, we've got a bunch of stuff that'll help us get through to the late game, and as long as my opponent can't heal often, which they can't if they're a shadow priest, we should be able to get them, so POSIC audio bots to a hand, it's now game on after our opponent was afk, I drew a fan hammer on turn four, I play an audio bot, now I could attack with my hero here to get one more damage in the basement playing sigilant lacquerity instead, now just on that one, sigilant lacquerity is great, one mana next turn, draw a card and reduce it's cost by one, why am I prioritising attacking face in all other cases, because the the kurtress hero says battle cry summon a couple of one four demons with rush, and their attack is improved by each time your hero is attacked this game, so if you have attacked every turn up till turn six when you play the hero there are five fours with rush, which is pretty good, if you play a weapon on turn five and attack with that and then the next turn attack with the weapon again for playing the kurtress, there'll be six fours, it's really good, but you want to get a lot of attacks and also this is the kind of deck that is damaging the opponent with spells and things, so you want to get the hero power damage in when you can, and it's not like just randomly playing spells early as helping, so audio bot and the hero power just to get another extra damage in, we can play this sigilant lacquerity because we might as well get that going, so turn four now for the priest, they're probably sitting going what have I done, what am I facing against, it's a demon hunter that I don't even know if they saw the size of the wretched trigger, I think they didn't, I'm guessing they didn't, so there's a blade master Akani, so blade master Akani, this is the one that's the four mana two six, they choose minion or spell when they play it, and I don't know which it is, and it's going to count to the next one of those that's played, and my thinking is that they've probably chosen minion to count to the next audio bot I play, but I'm not terribly concerned about that because I'm going to going down swinging everything anyway, so I don't even mind if they get the audio bot, so my furious upgrade rank two, the sigilant lacquerity trigger is getting me a deal with the devil, now I really want deal with the devil to resolve, not only that, I then drew a bound soul, so that's nice, so I can, the bound soul gets me a minion, if the blade master Akani is still there and trying to counter a minion, I need to have removed it before then, deal with the devil is reduced to four mana, I have five mana, I get to lead with something else to see whether the blade master Akani is going to counter a spell first, so let's have a look how I go, just unleash spell, I'm not going to need that too much, it's just one damage to everything, so Akani is not on spell, and it's like okay, well now I can play the deal with the devil, because I know Akani is not countering spell, I just go face with the audio bot, put it into 29, so they have a 4-3 pos like and a 2-5 blade master Akani, and I've got five 3-3s, four of which have lifesteal, which is pretty good, I mean I'm on 26, I'm not terribly concerned, but the shadow of Reno priest can deal out a lot of damage if you're not careful, so they play flint fire arm on five mana, which you know I'm pretty happy about, it's a good card but not great, I guess them the serpent with poison and rush and it's immune to turn, so attacks and takes out one of the lifesteal things because it's immune, I don't get any help, pos like trades into another lifesteal minion yelling me up to 29, puts the audio bot and plans for them, and then blade master Akani goes face, now I make a small mistake, I trade a minion into their poison minion and lose it, and I attack two minions to take out the Akani, and I should have traded the non lifesteal minion into the poison thing and I didn't, whoops, so now I play a bound soul because I have six mana, I take Jordan, I slam Jordan, and then I value trade down their flint fire arm, so now they still have the poison minion because I didn't trade into that with the audio bot when I should have, so I've got a 3-1 audio bot, a couple of 3-1 demons with lifesteal, and I have a 4-5 Jordan, they have a 3-3 audio bot, and a 2-3 poison serpent thing, so I haven't quite done that right, they can trade into the Jordan, I'm back on 30 now at least, and they're on 29, but the key thing here is that I play Jordan, so every turn now we're just getting an extra free spell, and it's going to do a bunch of them, and even if they re-node it'll probably still add up, so in hand I still have a fell barrage, and I fan the hammer, and a fury, which is now at rank 2, so that's +3 attack, a going down swinging, so fury into going down swinging is a fantastic play that we're making, even if they drop the titan, there's a casagas, now I talked about this a couple of weeks, a couple of episodes ago, we don't play casagas and Reno recently more, so I was happy to see them playing it, clearly what they want is a one mana spell, they've got two mana left, and I'm pretty sure they get the perfect spell, they're taking a while to assemble it, but they're looking at things, they're going face with everything, and I'm like yeah they got the perfect spell, 3 damage to Jordan, and then 2 damage to all enemies, I took all minions, so it damages their stuff as well, so they have a couple of 3 ones and 2 on poison, and all my stuff's gone, but I don't really mind, so we draw chaos strike, Jordan casts it immediately, so we draw a card off that, and get +2 attack, and then we still have a chaos strike in hand, there's a minimorphosis, that's 4 mana to turn us into like big demon hunter that does 4 damage with the hero power to any target, twice, I think you know it, so that's going to get us a lot of damage, and when we draw a chase, we just, it's going to replay that kind of stuff, it's going to be sick, our opponent is on 29, they've got some minions, I'm not terribly concerned, each of those minions has one health, so I go feldrai walk down on face, putting them to 25, summoning 4, 1 ones with rush, I've got +2 attack, three of those rush minions, trade into the minions, I don't need to keep minions, they're going to remove them, then we play feldrais doing 4 to the face, and then we go face for 3 with our hero, we hear a power, putting them to 18, so the damage is all airing up, I don't really care about having minions in place, I'm happy to trade my minions the way just to get more face damage, and they've got 7 mana on this turn, they need to think about healing soon, because this damage is going to add up, I've still got 5 cards at hand, and it's a lot of damage, if they don't have stuff, like going down swinging in fury, fan the hammer, another chaos strike, and minim officers, they're all going to add up, they're playing rehydrate on their face, which heals them for 7 up to 25, thanks to flint fire arm, it's pretty good, I guess, this ETC, that's almost all they might have spent, they've got one mana left, but it's a 4/4, again, not terribly concerned about the 4/4, this is a deck where I go face more than I would normally, and I love it. Anyway, we draw, it's a bound soul, so it casts automatically, now it's going to pause here, because this can be a little dicey, when the bound soul casts automatically, it automatically gets you something, and you're like, ooh, okay, that's in my hand, if it gets me jaced up over here, and I'm leaving jaced in my hand, they suddenly have probably a dirty rat, potentially even a mutinous available that they can use to disrupt that, and then I'm really unhappy, so the fact that I've drawn bound soul with Jotan and it's automatically casted, like, whoa-oh, yikes, it gives me another one on the hand, but it's just picture the Silver Moon Arcanist, which I'm happy about, because I can just jam that now, which I am, I can play a fan of the hammer, which now does 8 damage to the lowest health enemy, so it's 4 to the ETC, and 4 to their face, putting them to 21, then my one remaining 1/1 rush minion goes face for 1, and then I go face for 1 with my hero power, I think, yep, so that's putting them back down to 19. I could use fury, but I'm saving fury here, because I have going down swinging, and just in case, they make a giant board, and we need to remove it, we can. So, if they have 8 mana here, they're on 19 health, I don't think they play the Elise, right? But here it is, Elise, Badlands Saviour, they've got it, 8 mana, they now have 8.55s, sorry, 5.55s. The ones they got with, they got Mindbender, Elucia, that's not on the battle cry, they can get a copy of their first hand, we don't care about that, they got harvester of envy, that's the one where if you play a card, identity theft from your opponent, you steal it from them, they got Reno Jackson, and they got the new Raza that means that whenever you play your hero power, oh! So, this is a complete surprise here, you may all remember Suf Matt, I didn't think you came this way anymore, I do, I just need you to come through a bit later, but I got all the way down the stairs and I thought, I'm running for late, I'm just recounting my legend thing with Wild Demon Hunter, good to see you, I used to love the fact that you would come, I'm still recording by the way, I used to love the fact that I would randomly encounter you here, and I was like, this is not going to happen anymore, because you're in Wollongong, have a good day, yeah man, you seem nice to see you, so anyway, just to recap on that, that's Suf Matt, we've mentioned him as a patron, he's lovely, he lives in Wollongong, which if you look at Matt way south, he's just got off the train, he's like, I should double check to see if Ray's here, and he did, and he's there, bye Matt, but the only way is waving, I get a photo, but like, anyway, we love Matt, he's great, if you could hear his accent, he's originally from South Africa, South Africa, we love him, anyway, they've got a whole bunch of minions, they're all five fives, I still have, oh he's come back, you want to get a photo, you can get a photo, I was like, I should get a photo, but I don't want to post it with it, yes, yes, thanks man, all right, post it on Discord, please, we'll do, but this isn't the best view, because that's the harbor bridge there, all right man, see you later, all right, so we're going to have a photo, Matt's going to post one, anyway, they've got a bunch of stuff, I'm obviously thrilled that I have a fury still, and I guess a chaos strike, chaos strike before two, and my going downswing, my opponent's like, finally, we get him, we've got five fives, what can the demon hunter possibly do, let's push play, we'll just draw another deal with the devil, I mean, okay, and Jordan cast out for free, so I'll just have four, three threes of lifestyle for free as well, now we play chaos strike drawing another fury, okay, so we play fury, now we're up to five attack, play another fury, we're up to eight attack, we've got five mana left, so I guess also we get to hero power as well, so we're eight attack, nine attack, going downswing, he gives us 11 attack, going downswing, he attacks each of their minions, while we're a minion, so we kill all five of the five fives, we go face for 11, put in the date, and then we go face with our three minions, put it into five, I did the face attack last, but there are five, I have four, three threes of lifestyle, a silverman arc, and it's the end of one one, see how good going downswing he is in this deck, how good is that, anyway, there are nine, when I'm thinking about, let's get to pause this for a sec, they're on nine, they're on five, what they have to do here is cast Reno low and ranger, right, takes out their whole board, takes out my whole board, but I still have in hand a minimum officers, so they need to be able to go Reno low and ranger and follow up with Reno Jackson, we know Reno Jackson isn't in hand because at least battle and savior pulled it out of the deck last term, so this is pretty good for us overall, they can draw Reno this turn and next turn survive, but I think we're in a really good spot, they need to clear our board and we need to and heal, thankfully they've got a really good spell, if I remember correctly, and it's not Reno low and ranger, this is actually better than Reno low and ranger, they've got nine mana, we're just giving you to think, I think they're thinking about this, or maybe they're like trying to figure out how this works, but Solner, a seven mana shadow spell, so on copies of enemy minions they attack each other, so the thing is they now have four, four fours with lifestyle that are taken to each of my minions, and heals them up for a total of 12, putting them up to 17, so I'm not happy about that, and all my minions died, could be worse of course, and they're here empowering me down to 28, because obviously I healed as well, so we're drawing a touch of chaos, it doesn't do anything because there's nothing to target, touch of chaos is the card I most want to cut from this deck, but every time I do I lose to aggro, I'm like oh I guess it needs to be in there, so I guess we're casting another deal with the devil and a minimum officers and just doing five face damage, we do miss an attack from our face, but could be worse, but we need to pressure, so another deal with the devil, minimum officers, five face damage from the minimum officers puts them back down to 12, they can't Solner again, they're a Reno deck right, anyway they're in 12, they've got 10 mana, what do they do this to? I can't remember what they do, actually like if I'm honest, I don't remember how this ends, I know that I do win, up Reno Loranger for 10 mana off the top, of course they couldn't play it last turn, it was enough, but they drew it off the top, and they wiped my board again, now they're on 17, because they gained 5 armor, I'm like girl, but of course my minimum officers does 5, just draw a mark of scorn, Jordan will cast it, they're drawing me a card and doing 4 to their face, the card that drew me is kurtress, the hero, so minimum officers just fire to the face, we play bound Sol that we have in hand, we have 8 mana left, we play jace dark weaver, and they're on 8, and we've played a fan, the hammer, we've played fell barrage, we play deal with the devil, it gets to the middle, but there's fell barrage doing 4 to their face while they're on 8, and then there's the fan and hammer doing 6 while they're on 4, and I don't know how many more fell spells I had, but I knew that was enough, that we would have that closure out to finish them, there we go, so let's match, I should get on this train, I've let several trains going, but like like bonus that we saw super matte, and we love super matte, so great, anyway look, time for me to sign off, follow me on Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube, @plistaguy, follow the podcast, walk to work Hs, Twitter, to find out what the episode goes live, see if they can port code, and of course, youtube.com/askplistaguy to see the video, it's linked on my Twitter, but you get the idea, and of course, come hang on discord.ms/plistaguy, it is always a pleasure to have you join me for my walk to work, good luck everyone, and everything you do, because you're all absolute bloody legends you are, and I love you all, I do, how late am I today, so late, 40 minutes here, I was already late leaving, so it's not a bit bizarre, oh this is one of the trains with the seats and records, ew, I'll explain that another time, because clearly, I'm gonna get on, I think we should be okay.
