Welcome to today's prospecting call. If you're new to my YouTube channel or podcast real talk real estate, my name is Tori I'm a full-time real estate agent and I post content around my daily prospecting calls and Lessons I've learned as a real estate agent. I do this because prospecting is quite challenging and I've always really learned a lot from hearing Other people prospect whether it be things I liked that they said or it didn't like that They said that I don't want to say myself. I hope you give value and subscribe So today is a day prospects are being quite rude over the phone Normally doesn't bother me nine times out of ten for some reason today. My fuse is just like short. It's really irritating me However, something I remind myself of and I feel that way is that we owe these people absolutely nothing and in fact Actually, I disagree with that we owe them not to be short with them not to be rude with them We're the ones calling them were the ones interrupting them everybody knows that most people don't like getting those calls If they want to be rude or short or argumentative or anything like that We don't have to put up with it and take a beating I hop off phone calls all the time and I tell them hey It sounds like this is not a productive conversation or it sounds like this isn't a conversation you want to have I'm gonna hang up I hang up but we owe these people Plightness professionalism That's just something I'm not trying to go and I'm not trying to get on pedestal in a rant here But I'm also saying it to remind myself that like oh, I'm really feeling aggravated today But that does not at all give an excuse to meet those people at that level because I'm one calling them I'm interrupting them and yeah, that's just the way it is. I'll just call it as it is I don't know if that was helpful. Hope it is once again. I'm more so saying it for myself So I don't go crazy Also yesterday was a day that across six hours I had 40 contacts with people and only generated one good lead I should have with the numbers. I usually average gone three to four today I'm 15 contacts in three and a half hours in and no leads So that could that could be really frustrating or couldn't and not frustrating. It could be like I got damn What's going on? However, I've had days where I've got three leads out of five contacts or three or five or six contacts Multiple leads appointment set. You can't have those. This is what I remind myself I'm just reminding myself you can't have those days We just kill it without some days like the past two days I've had and some days in the middle you got to sign up or I'm signing up for the full spectrum And if I looked back on yesterday's prospecting session and today there's nothing I would have done differently I was present. I was focused. I was attentive as asking the right questions. I was pushing It just didn't go my way yesterday or today But as long as I sign up to as long as I show up and do the work I know to do that's all I'm expecting of myself So I'm asking of myself so I'm trying to remind myself Don't let it affect your emotions negatively at all that the past two days have gone the way they have because that just means Other days will go different ways
