The Homeschool LoftCast 2.0
Homeschoolers and High School Sports

You have an athlete in the family, and they want to play competitive sports on your local Public High School team. What to do?
Well, if you live in Wisconsin, we have an answer for you! In Wisconsin, the law was changed in 2015 to allow home school students to participate on Public high school teams!
Join Tina and Christ as they talk with Nicki Jeske about the process she went through getting her sons connected to their local high school sports programs.
Please note: The links below are only general informational links. You will need to find the site for the school district in which you live. Each district has its own application forms. You should also reach out to the local school district athletic directors to ensure you know what additional forms might be required.
ANOTHER NOTE: There is a Question and Answer section on the WIAA website, and a number of those questions relate to Home Schooled students and their participation. THOSE QUESTIONS ARE ALL PRE-2015, and the WIAA response is always "home schooled students are not eligible." This is NO LONGER THE CASE.
