We see the numbers growing there during this week Great to see some familiar faces in there as well as some new people as well Thank you guys for keeping it alive and real there now We're gonna shift gears right now to the United Kingdom. There is a snap general election underway There's also some very serious things happening in the Middle East On both of those topics. I want to turn to our next guest and welcome on to the stage Chris Williamson He's running as a candidate in this election for the workers part of your Britain Chris Williamson from Darby Chris. I appreciate you coming on this week Now, thanks for inviting me on Patrick good to be with you First of first of all Chris. I know you're busy on the campaign trail So it's a really intense time right now in Britain is snap election so far How are you doing and what do you make of this election in general Chris? Well, I mean I'm doing very well I might say so Patrick in the campaign that we've been running in Darby North the response has been very very positive Indeed and I think we're in with a very real chance of actually making a breakthrough here and what I say we I'm talking about the workers party of Britain, which is later by George Galloway and I think there's a real chance that we could Get a number of our people returned to Parliament. We're fielding 154 candidates across the country We had hoped to feel more than that in the end We were we were down to 154 that that's still a significant total and the response that we were getting in an unbroken Statuencies and the response is pretty good all over but in a number of constituencies The response is such that we think that we've got a real chance of of getting into double figures And now that might seem small beer But when you consider that all the other political parties in Britain are essentially on the same page George Galloway, we refer to them as two cheeks of the same backside And I think that's a very apt description because they're all signed up to the neoliberal economic agenda They're all signed up to the war machine the military industrial complex and and they all do the bidding of the Zionist entity of of Israel and The only real opposition that there is in Parliament at the moment is from George Galloway And now if we can get a number of the workers party candidates across the line to join George and hopefully George will hold on to his seat Because he's obviously fighting to retain his own seat in rotsdale that he won in a stunning by-election in February of this year Then we will be the real opposition and I think what people then see is What opposition you know really means and I think from that Patrick
