I don't think we expected much more than 10, 15 minutes from him, and that's basically what we got here. So, yeah, a couple of things he did not mention. COVID-19, when he had that, he didn't talk about any of the concerns about his cognitive health or the recent assassination attempt last night, but he seemed to just talk about, you know, democracy. Oh, wait a minute. You know, we're not having that play with Kamala Harris. We're just going to appoint her from the VP to the president's slot for the nomination. Okay, so what else did you like last night, or what did you notice? Well, not a lot of specifics about the why the decision was made this weekend. After, you know, so much pressure had been mounting since the debate, of course, for him to step aside. But yeah, was it the fact that the poll numbers show he couldn't win? Was it because he was a drag on the ticket and other Democrats in congressional and Senate races would lose because of Biden's poor performance? Was it the fact that the money was drying up and that donors were no longer writing checks to the DNC? All that really went unanswered last night. Again, it was, you know, highlighting some of the bright spots of his tenure as president, as you said, making that reference to hamming things off to a new generation. Yeah, and he's stumbled a few times through that. There was some commentary from some of the doctors that, you know, okay, read the prompter pretty well, but a few times, you know, expected, you know, he's been doing it quite a bit these days, stumbling through things. But apparent lack of emotion in all of this, just kind of stone-faced and cold and read the prompter and call it a night. See you later. Yeah, his family was in the room with him. You know, we've seen other photographs that showed Hunter Biden was sitting just to his left there in the Oval Office with the president's grandchildren as well, and I think the first lady was there. But yeah, so the Oval Office did have several family members there inside. After the speech, he went outside and he spoke to some of the White House staffers, who also heard the news that he wasn't seeking reelection with the rest of us Sunday afternoon. Yeah, well, other news yesterday, we saw the investigation continuing into Trump's assassination. FBI Director Christopher Ray was testifying about all of this and what the shooter was doing, you know, prior to actually getting up on that roof. Listen. He did a Google search for, quote, how far away was Oswald from Kennedy? Ray told the House Judiciary Committee, FBI agents discovered crooks was searching that question. Um, so your thoughts on all of that is I thought Christopher Ray's testimony really didn't bring much new. It was already in the press already. It was just kind of reiterating it. Do you think we got much more out of him? Not a whole lot. He did try to tamp down some conspiracy stuff that's been bubbling out there. But again, he and the Secret Service Director said that this is still early days of this investigation, that there is so much evidence to go through. Everyone there in the crowd had a phone with videos, so it's just tough to collect all of that and go through it and question everyone involved. But we are not done with these hearings. We've got multiple congressional hearings, Senate hearings. We've got the IG's office. We've got an outside presidential panel. The MTO is Secret Service investigation. Yeah, a lot more still coming together on the well and I talked with Congressman Gary Palmer yesterday. Roy, thank you for the update. I appreciate you. And Gary said, look, we got to put together a task force and they have decided to do that. The House representatives unanimously voted to establish this bipartisan commission to investigate this whole thing and not stop until they get all the answers they want.
