COgITOR Readings PodCast

13. Roman Krahne: Metal-Dielectric-Metal nanophotonic cavities

The COgITOR Readings Committee is releasing the presentations in form of podcasts to the broad audience.

Dr. Krahne discusses how nanophotonic cavities can be made using simple metal-dielectric-metal structures with no lithographic steps needed. Such devices behave as fully tunable Fabry-Perot cavities featuring near zero permittivity materials, and represent an innovative technology for future photonic devices.

The COgITOR project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant agreement No 964388.
