An official message from Medicare. A new law is helping me save more money on prescription drug costs. You may be able to save, too. With Medicare's Extra Help Program, my premium is zero, and my out-of-pocket costs are low. Who should apply? Single people making less than $23,000 a year, or married couples who make less than $31,000 a year. Even if you don't think you qualify, it pays to find out. Go to ssa.gov/extrahelp, paid for by the US Department of Health and Human Services. Now, the best morning show in Boston. Billy and Lisa in the morning. It's just a great start to my day on Kiss 108. Oh, righty then. Here we go. It's the Big Friday show, the Billy and Lisa morning show. And I don't know why we say that every single Friday is the Friday show. Actually, that different from every other day. Well, we love Fridays because we have a couple of days off. Oh, good point. And this happens to be a beautiful weekend, beautiful day. So it makes it even better. Billy, you say, every day is the big show. It's the big Thursday show, the big day show. But Fridays are big. Well, I feel great on Friday. Me too. And it is going to be an epic weekend, right, Lisa? Beautiful Friday, Saturday Sunday. Like low humidity, beautiful. Yeah. So just stay outside. I would say don't even go home to sleep at night this weekend. Just stay outside for the entire weekend. Yeah, it's going to be one of the best weekends of the summer weather wise. Totally. Unfortunately, I'm having worked on it in my house and they're going to be there all weekend. So I'll have all these people outside of my house. So we have to stay inside or leave. You know, you're being so nice to the people working on your house. I don't think they're going to leave when the project's done. They're just going to. Why do you feed them? Well, yeah, it's pretty good. Are you bringing stocks? Well, you're not doing anything. Huh? What are you doing this to me? I don't know anything about my life winning. We just talked about, OK. On the after-show podcast, we just talked about it yesterday on the after-show podcast. Yesterday I was out there chatting with them all. Yeah. And they were on their lunch break. And yeah, I like hanging out with them and getting to know them. They work hard, man. They work long days. Yeah. But you know what's really funny to me? What Winnie just did when she said, no, you don't. It sounded like your son, Amber, when they rang the door, I was like, no, he's home. We were just talking. We have an after-show podcast. The building this after-show is Justin and I recapping the show. We talk about our lives. Yeah. We were talking about them yesterday saying, hello, there is out there. I like to see how they work and their wives bring them lunch. You don't bring them lunch. Right. Bought them lunch yesterday. Thank you very much. Oh. OK, Winnie. Remember the big Happy Friday show? Yeah. What happened? It's the upset Friday show. Yeah. This is Winnie. When someone came, they came to my door and tried to see if I was home. I remember my son was yelling. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That's Winnie. I'd like to bring love. No, you don't. Why did you buy them? Why did you buy them? Anyway, let's move on back to our Happy Friday show. The Olympics get underway today, opening ceremonies. There was an incident though last night in Paris. High-speed train service is paralyzed right now because of a series of malicious fires and they're investigating and it appears like it's a serious situation. They're talking about 11 million tourists heading into Paris for the Olympics and no high-speed train service right now. And it may not be back until Monday, they say, the earliest Monday. So that's a weird story. We'll have to keep our eyes on that. But some happy thoughts, opening ceremonies today. Yeah. Guy is there. Celine Dion is there. We'll talk about that coming in the entertainment report. We're also going to talk with our girl, Tiff, who's doing the Olympic coverage for hundreds of I-Heart stations all over the country. That's fine. And you know, this morning I read that Ariana Grande may be doing a surprise performance for the Olympics. Wow. Oh, we like her. Yes. Yeah. She's got a giant voice. That would be cool. Yeah. It's kind of weird. She's a tiny, tiny, tiny person and has a giant voice. So that'd be cool. They do talk about surprise guests, so maybe she's one of them. And there's a new Olympic theme song, we're going to have a clip of that in the entertainment report coming up. Ryan Teder wrote it. Ryan Teder from One Republic. A lot of cool stuff. I think what they're doing on the Sun is the coolest thing ever. Yeah. That they're having all of the athletes on boats. It's never been done before. Yeah. Yeah. It's going to be so cool. I'm excited. I'm not like a big Olympics person, but this half is some reason I'm really into it. Doesn't we feel like more celebrities are there too? Maybe it's because it's Paris, right? Yeah. And it's just so beautiful there and everyone loves it. So I don't know. All of the athletes are going to be coming down the sin in Paris, right? Yes. Have they checked? Are the sharks still there from the movie Under Paris? Because I would check if I were them, you know, because they're rising all over the world. I will say I've been watching all of the reports about the sun and they've been cleaning the water up for like over a year. They had one of the reporters last night drinking the water from the sun live on TV. Is he still breathing today? The mayor jumped in the water, I think, last week to prove that the water had been cleaned up. Yup. Jumping in it and drinking it. I don't know why. Well, don't forget. That's what the Charles was like years and years ago. It was the dirtiest body of water in the country. And now Boston Harbor, too, is one of the cleanest in the country. Oh, dirty water. Dirty water. Yeah. Boston. You're my home. Yeah. I get it. Okay, Winnie. You get it. You learn a lot in the process. Yeah. That's right. Would you drink the water right now? From the sun? No, from the Charles. I wouldn't even drink the water from the tap here. The Charles? No, the Charles is much cleaner than it used to be. Yeah, it is. Yeah. When I was a child, I always think of this. I might have been dreaming, but when I was a child, we only lived two blocks from the Charles. People used to water ski on the Charles River. Oh, cool. Now again. Okay. You're not going to dream, but yes, they would water ski along the Charles. Yeah. Along the Charles. Okay. That's cool. You think the dirty water and the Charles came from all the cars that were dropped in there? Could be. I know I got one in there. Oh, really? Oh, yeah. You're an insurance fraud. You've been a scammer. God, I shot the TV show in East Cambridge where I grew up yesterday. God, what memories came back. Anytime I looked to my left, I looked to my light. Oh, I stole from there. Anyway, entertainment is coming up. We've got everything you need to know about the Olympic Games. And don't forget, it's also New Music Friday. And that's coming up next standby from the Planet Fitness Kiss 108 studios. We're back with Billy and Lisa in the morning on hit 108. Hey, Justin, let's wake up the chalk back mafia. Let's go. Yeah, as you're listening to the Billy and Lisa show, you cannot leave your input. Leave a message on the iHeartRadio app when you stream kiss 108. Tap that red microphone. That is called a talk back. And that comes directly to me. If you're looking for something to do this weekend, well, you're in luck. Happy Friday. It's the mayor of the South and I want to tell people this weekend, check out Shakespeare on the common. I went last night and it was really the costumes, even if you don't understand Shakespeare. Let's bring a cheer, bring a picnic lunch, and it's a wonderful show. They're playing the winter's teal. It's a story about greed and jealousy. Have a great weekend, everyone. The mayor's right. That's a good take. It really is. A little Shakespeare, wouldn't you know? Yeah. He checks in every day with things to do, especially on Fridays. I don't. He just goes to events. He really comes out there. Yeah. Yeah. Well, we thank him for his service. We do. It's an entertainment update with the Billy Cox said. All right. Here we go. Olympic Games, Paris, France, opening ceremonies. We get them at 1.30 today on the East Coast here. Lady Gaga going to perform, Celine Dion will perform. First Lady Jill Biden is there in Paris and French heavy metal band Cojira will perform. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Olympic Games. Here they come down the same one on earth. Yeah, the games overnight, though, this is a big story this morning, a marred by a series of malicious fires that they say paralyzed the high speed train system officials are working on that and said to be looking for suspects as well. Keep in mind, as many as 11 million tourists are expected in Paris for the Olympic Games, I think they need the trains up and running. They do. They say they may not be back until Monday at the earliest. This is troubling. Yeah, I was watching some video that looks like complete mayhem. Yeah. People are trying to get around. Oh, God. The train stations are packed. LeBron James going to be the flag bearer for the men's US team. The US Open champ Coco golf will carry the flag for the women's US team. She's psyched. Yeah, I just hope that being a person representing team USA and I think all the I don't want us to don't behalf all Olympians on the team USA, but I feel like majority of them will agree that we all just want to promote positivity through our game and through our sport and through our competing and I think that we all just want to show how passionate we are and share that passion with the supporters that we have and hopefully have a lot of success too. The men's US basketball team has its first game Sunday against Serbia, Steph Curry enjoying the experience. I want to see some gymnastics, some beach volleyball, some swimming and like you get juiced up watching other athletes compete at a high level and I think that's contagious. Yeah. And there's a new Olympic theme song. It's written by Ryan Teder. It's performed by Teder Anderson Park and Gwen Stefani. You've got a clip. I like it. I like it. For the Olympics. I love it. I love it. You need a hit song. They call Ryan Teder. I love you. I like that. Yeah. It's fun. I like it. I like that. Yeah. It's fun. I like it. It's fun. I like it. I like it. I like it. It's fun. And my friends and I quoted all the time. It's coming out of me like lava and can you feel the steam heat from my undercarriage? I mean, there are too many quotes to pick from, but Krista Wigg is hilarious and I just love that movie so much. I have to say, too, Melissa, which I think is one of the greatest seasons. Steam heat from my undercarriage. That was Melissa McCarthy, right? Yeah. Yeah. That was her line. Yeah. Great movie. But the lava one is definitely something out of me like lava. I'm gonna get food poisoning. I've been dressed fitting and Wigg is trying to pretend like she wasn't affected by it and sweat is pouring out of her face. Yeah. It's so good. I would say my comfort shows, I do them, Full House always. And Larry David, Curb Your Enthusiasm, which is actually hilarious because of nothing but craziness, but I just can't stop re-watching it. It's great. Yeah, you can watch. I think there are 12 or 13 seasons of Curb Your Enthusiasm. It's a great show. Curb is kind of like the Sopranos that you mentioned earlier this morning. You go back, you pick and choose any episode you want. So true. It's always good again. Every episode of Curb follows the same formula, but you just watch it over and over. I should be entitled to sympathy and the trappings that come along with that sympathy, a caring glance here and there, perhaps a free meal. And once in a blue moon, some sympathy sex. It's funny, she mentioned Full House because my nieces are five and eight and they are now watching it. The reruns and they love it, right? So I watched an episode with him the other day. I was like, wow, this is so bad. I can't believe it. I used to love this show. Like it was. It's so corny. Isn't age well? No, it didn't. I was like me and my mom were like, I was used to watch this and I was like, yeah, like religiously. And it's so bad. Did they ever reboot Full House? They did. They have Full House, which is on Netflix. And they needed like four or five seasons on that. Yeah, except for Mary Kate Nash, they didn't reprise their role as Michelle. But even that I saw some of that on Netflix, but it just doesn't really hit the same. You know what my young son Riley's go to is young Sheldon, he keeps rewatching it over and over again. He's kind of a young Sheldon. He speaks it. Like he knows every, the dialogue, it's freakish. But when you think of it, TV shows, movies, such a big part of our lives, and that will never change. Right? No, never change. It's always going to be movies and TV shows. Let's go to Anthony. Anthony, what have we got for us? All right. I got one for you. I'm 30. My wife's 49. And every night I get to tolerate the golden girls. Wait, I don't care about the golden girls. Neither do I. You're 30. And your wife's 49. Let's talk about that. Yeah, that's the bigger story. What's going on there, Anthony? Well, we met, we met seven years ago. So we've been together a while and even married three years, so it's been going good. So you were 23, and she was 42. Wow. Good for her. So how and where did that happen? The meeting. Hampton Beach. All right. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. Bernie's Beach Bar. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Hampton Beach Bar. And and karaoke to summer nights. Wow. So are you just like an old soul? Like what's going on with that? No, no, we just met. I've been, you know, I was married before and did you work out? You were married before. What did you get married at 17? 19. Oh, okay. So your relationship guys, do you guys have any kids? No, not. How's the sex, Anthony? Okay, Bill. I'll tell you Sunday. All right. All right, Adam. Hampton Beach. It's where happiness lives. Oh my God. Anthony's an interesting guy. 30 and married twice already. Yeah. And one of them is twice his age. He sounds very happy. Yeah, he does. Yeah, he does. Wow. 49 to 30. Yeah. Not that bad. 19. I mean, for her. Yeah, I know. No, really. I know. Isn't it funny with topic time? Like if we get the right call or the right topic, all of a sudden something else is all we care about. Like we care about the 30 and the 49. Is anybody else married to somebody 19 years old? How is that going? Yeah. That could be another topic. Yeah. We'll be back Monday with Anthony's topic. Anthony's weekend recap with, oh God, with this cougar wife. Anyway, let's get back to the topic. Comfort TV shows and movies. Got so many here. Easily. My favorite movie of all times is Field of Dreams. Just a great, feel-good movie. Great story. Great acting. Just a great overall movie. Mmm. That's a great costume. Yeah, Ray Liotta. Yeah. It's American Classic. Yeah. I want to see it. But you're not invited. Not invited. Look at me. I'm not invited. No, wait. I have done everything I've been asked to do. I didn't understand it, but I've done it. And I haven't once asked, what's in it for me? What are you saying? I'm saying, what's in it for me? I'm at Damon and Ben Affleck were in that movie as extras. Oh, that's right. Yeah. That was one of their first gigs. Yeah. Well, one of the scenes were shot at Fenway Park. There are a couple of Kevin Kostner movies I keep going back to. I think there was one called Revenge. Well, the Bodyguard. Oh, right. That's such a classic. I don't want to call it a comfort because it's kind of a sad, I mean, it has a nice ending, but it hits up and down. Well, the creepy sister. I mean, yeah. But it's a really good movie. I watched that. Whatever it's on. Yeah. Yeah, the soundtrack. Yeah, great. Yeah. Yeah, amazing. Good morning, morning crew. I would say that my comfort show is definitely Dexter. I've probably watched it the whole series probably nine or ten times. We even had a cat named Dexter. I don't like the revival that they did, but overall, Dexter's got to be hands down my go-to show. I mean, Dexter's a great show. That's even weirder than mine. Sopranos. What is it about? It's a serial killer. Oh, wow. That's her comfort. Yeah. All right. Sorry. Okay. He's talking for comfort. Yeah. Well, he's kind of a what do you call that? Not a vigilante. He gets back. Yeah. Yeah. He doesn't just kill me. So kind of an equalizer. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And they did their revival, which I actually did like, but for that talk backer, they are working on a prequel for Dexter. So maybe show like that. Wow. By the way, that's another one. The equalizer. Denzel. Yes. That is a good one. Anytime that's on TV, I watched that. Yes. For sure. Good morning crew. It's Jen from Drake It. We can a rubra. I missed listening to you all. But about the topic besides pretty woman and dirty dancing, which I think we all probably feel the same way about my two movies that when they're on, I have to watch them are How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days and the proposal. Yeah. How to lose a guy in 10 days was Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey. Okay. And what's the proposal? Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock. Oh. Betty White's in that movie. Oh, he's a grandma. Okay. Let's go to Heather. Heather. What have you got for us? Topic time. Hi. You had mentioned getting married at 19. I was married at 19 and I'm still married to the same person and I'm now 63. Wow. Childhood sweethearts, right? Yes. He was 22. I was 19. We have two children. Both are doing very well, 38 and 35. Nice. Wow. Wow. Yeah. Yeah. So it does work. So, Heather, was he your first? No, actually I had dated somebody for about two years before that, but I knew when I met him, he was the one. Yeah. When you know, you know, yeah, there it is. Happy love. Happy love. Isn't that interesting? We popped a second topic in the middle of the topic. I think she missed the 19 year age gap thing we were talking about. Yeah. That was the topic in the middle of a topic. I mean, topic times a wild place, right? Yeah. You can change it in any time, by the way, yeah, in all directions. We have it. I mean, I have about 300 messages of comfort shows and TV TV shows and movies that people love. What do you want to do here? You want to get more in here? Yeah. Give me one more, at least. I'll give you one more. My absolute favorite comfort show I've got. The witty, the pop culture references, all of it are just so free. I can't stop watching it. I have been watching it for pretty much most of my life at this point. Speaking of TV shows and movies, how cool is this? Angela Perry heads up Boston casting and is casting several movies that are being shot right now in Boston, including the one involving Ellen Hildebrandt, right? Leisha Brooks. Yeah. She was involved in the perfect couple, which is going to be streaming a Netflix September 5th. She was? Yes, she was. That's so cool. And she's also involved in the casting of the Matt Damon Casey Affleck movie, The Instigators, which is shooting here. Well, it's done. It's going to be streaming. Yeah. Like in a week. And we'll have Angela Perry on this show. What time is she coming on, Justin? 910. All right. 910. That's going to be good. She has some opportunities for you out there, too. Yeah. Some commercials and other things going on. All right. So Angela Perry going to join us on the show this morning. An official message from Medicare.
