The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is investigating a multi-state outbreak of Listeria infections linked to meat sliced at deli counters. The outbreak has claimed two lives and sent 28 others to the hospital. It's one of at least five nationwide Listeria outbreaks this year. In the wake of the CrowdStrike computer outage, fake websites are also popping up everywhere with domain names riffing on the event like CrowdStrike and BlueScreen, promising quick fixes or falsely offering cryptocurrency rewards. Most are phishing schemes seeking personal information.
