(upbeat music) - Better strap yourself in. It's time for the Howie Car Show. - But you think you are the best person in the country to head the Secret Service. - I think that I am the best person to lead the Secret Service at this time. Both sides of the aisle today have asked for your resignation. Would you like to use my five minutes to draft your resignation letter? Yes or no? - No, thank you. - A few moments later. - I'll say to you to press confirming an internal email sent by Kimberly Cheetles to those in the Secret Service announces her resignation. Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. - And become the next president of the United States of America, of course. Hakim. - Hey Jimmy, you had dad? Next time, if you have an idea, run it through the test before you embarrass yourself. - Who's your captain, Howie Car? - I'm glad to see him. I'm glad that he's returning to Washington. I'm glad that he tested negative and that makes us all positive about the situation currently. - Sounds good. - Get away quick beyond it. - You don't mention it in the laugh, but I'll do it. - All right, you know you guys take the fun out of living. - Rump swabs, hacks, and moon bounce beware, it's... (upbeat music) Howie Car. - Eight four, four, five hundred, forty two, forty two. Provincetown is on the tip of Cape Cod, as we all know. And there's only one road into Provincetown, basically. And so if that road is tied up, then the entire Cape is going to be a mess. And guess what happened on Saturday when Kamala Harris flew in to the Cape, onto the Cape for a fundraiser, a time. The entire traffic was screwed up all the way back. And I know this because I got an email from a friend of mine who's a former elected official who was tied up, said he spent an hour and a half waiting, just stuck in traffic. And they didn't take helicopters, they took a motorcade, and it just screwed everything up to a fairly well. And it didn't get much play, it got zero play, actually in the newspapers and in the media, because of course Joe Biden pulled out the next day, and there was other news to deal with. But if you were on Cape Cod, you were inconvenienced more than somewhat. And I was happy to see yesterday that Amy Carnavali, the GOP state chairman, put out a press release, just saying it was very inconsiderate of Kamala Harris and all the state's big Democrats to schedule this fundraiser and just not take helicopters, but to take cars and screw up traffic across the Cape. And it made me happy I was not down on the Cape. I think it's just one of those things, it was a pain. So we wanted to talk to somebody who was down there from the, we called Amy and she said, I'm gonna defer to Will Crocker, he's the former state rep, one of the former state reps on the Cape, and he's also the GOP state committee man for the Cape and Islands District. So Will Crocker, how bad was it on Saturday on Cape Cod? - How we, you can't imagine how bad it was. I mean, this is summertime on Cape Cod. We've got people trying to get to the Cape for whatever reason their vacations, they wanna visit their friends, they wanna get to their family, and they're stopped. Absolutely stopped by Kamala Harris. - And Saturday's the turnover day for all the rentals, right? Basically. - Yep. And you know, when people who are coming on their vacations, when people, like I said, people who are coming to get to see their friends and all that stuff, and they were just basically stopped. Route six was stopped to allow the vice president and her motorcade to travel up to Provincetown. I mean, the whole thing was, you know, you look at it, you think, if she had done this kind of traffic slowdown, then this kind of traffic slowdown at the border, then we wouldn't have the problem we have in spending a billion dollars. - But she's never gone near the border. She's never gone near it. She doesn't even know where it is. - Unbelievable, unbelievable. There's just a massive tie up here. And inconvenience is the least word you could use. - Yeah, and I guess it was good for restaurants in some ways, along Route six, because all the police and the state cops and everybody else in security was having to eat somewhere. But again, if you were just someone coming in on your annual vacation to the Cape, it was just a terrible inconvenience. And you know, and again, yeah, I've been in convenience before by various motorcades. People like Al Gore, Hillary Clinton in New York one time I was down there. And going back, Walter Mondale screwed things up during a blizzard back in the '70s in Boston. But it's worse, especially at the tip of the Cape, because there's only Route six there. That's basically one road. - Yep, one road in, one road out. - So how long was it screwed up, Will Crocker? - It was hours, I mean, we started seeing police details early in the morning. I was traveling around, I was actually going off Cape early in the morning, and I saw police details along the route, like motorcycle cops are going, what are motorcycle cops doing out, sitting around on a Saturday morning? And we found out a few hours later why they were there. - Yeah. I mean, it was to go from joint base Cape Cod up to Provincetown, by car, even at an accelerated rate, it's still gonna take your 30 to 45 minutes. - Yeah, the ironic thing is that here's Nantucket, which is also in that same senatorial district, the same basic neck of the woods, is reeling, literally reeling from the claps of one of their, the democrats' favorite programs, wind power out in the Atlantic Ocean. And are they going to commiserate with the victims of all this pollution that's washing up on the southern shores of Nantucket? No, no, they're just, they're partying in profits down on the other end of the Cape, on the other end of the district. They don't, they didn't care. Did anyone say anything about what happened with vineyard wind, Will? - No, I mean, you're right, it's one of their, it's one of their favorite things. And when it all kind of comes crashing down, as it did last week. - Nothing to see here, folks, move along, nothing to see here. Oh, that's right, you can't move 'cause we're in a motorcade. - And when they got there, they were feasting on honey-glazed shrimp. - Honey-glazed shrimp, that's nice. - Let me kick. (laughing) - Has anyone spoken out about this? Well, other than Amy Carnavoli and you, and there are not many republicans left in elected office down in Barnstable County anymore, are there to actually sound the alarm here? - Yeah, there are, there are a very few of us left. It's, this area is becoming increasingly democratic as the people who lived in Cambridge and Brookline and Newton and had summer houses here on the Cape are retiring here and they're bringing their politics with them. - Oh boy. Well, I just wanted to, I wanted to at least point this out and I'm glad that the local republicans, the state party, and you guys down on the Cape are at least making an outcry about what's going on. This is outrageous what's been going on. You guys have a new, have you got the candidate yet? Is the candidate picked? Have you made the announcement about who's gonna run on stickers against Flanagan? - The announcement is the official announcement is coming up in a couple of days. But yes, there is a candidate. We have a candidate to run against Chris Flanagan. The man should not be, there is a candidate. - Okay, and everybody's gotten behind him and everyone's gonna get together and get him those 150 stickers so he can get on the ballot against Chris Flanagan who just, you're right, he should not be in the legislature. He shouldn't have been elected in the first place if not for shenanigans and he should have but definitely been thrown out after all of his schemes were uncovered, but they waited to release the findings until the day before the filing deadline so no republicans were able to file. But now you get on in stickers, it's only 150. It should be, it's doable, I think, isn't it? - I think it is. - All right, Will Crocker, thanks for being with us and, you know, it's, again, I hope we can get somebody good in there, it seems like it's a winnable seat after what Chris Flanagan did. Thanks for checking in with us. That's Will Crocker, he's the GOP state committee man from the Cape and Islands district which was crippled on Saturday for a time for the vice president, the cackling vice president. As the other end of the district was reeling from a green scam known as wind turbines which were washing ashore tons, yeah, probably tons of green foam and fiberglass which is great, which is great for the marine life and beachgoers and dogs on the beach. 844-542, 42, we'll be right back on Howie Carr. (dramatic music) - The Howie Carr show will be right back. (dramatic music) (dramatic music) - He's Howie Carr. (dramatic music) - I love my pillow's products. What are the results thus far? - Will Karen Reid ultimately be tried again on second degree murder in manslaughter charges? Yes or no? - I'm gonna say no. - No has 56%, yes has 44%. - Speaking of the Karen Reid trial, we spoke yesterday with a turtle boy, he broke the story that apparently there was a brawl on Saturday night at Shipwrecked in Falmouth down on the Cape on the other end of the Cape. What a action on the Cape right now in the islands. And Jill Daniels, who's one of the McAlberts, she's the one who assaulted turtle boy allegedly. She, well she assaulted him, it's on tape. She assaulted him outside DNA pizza, which belongs to jail bird Chris Albert and a couple of weeks, a couple of three weeks ago, she was in the Shipwrecked at in Falmouth on Saturday night. And she got into a fight with some people, a woman in a pink shirt and others. Apparently she was called White Trash and she started screaming at everybody. And they won't, the Falmouth police are slow walk and the turtle boy had given him the police report. But somehow today, I don't know if he got it from the police or someone who just follows the police scanners, he got a copy of the initial police report on the radio, the initial radio reports about the cruisers, apparently there were multiple cruisers responded to this brawl at the Shipwrecked as a big place in Falmouth. So let's play Cut 28 here. This is Falmouth PD dispatch to the Shipwrecked after the Karen Reed, Jill Daniels brawl on Saturday night. Cut 28. This is Falmouth, I need a second before. 911 call reporting a fight at Shipwrecked. 2DR, go that way. 3-7. Thanks for all this. Taking a 911 call for a physical fight at Shipwrecked. I need more info. It uses responding. The call came in from the manager at this time, but would still like put a response. This is bad here for the guy at Shipwrecked. According to witnesses told Turtle Boy that she called Jill Daniels, called the manager, who's female, and about 60. She called her a hag. I mean, boy, Jill, talk about the pot calling the kettle flag. Oh my God, it's amazing. And then she started using the C word with some of the waitresses and somebody got pushed down and then there was a woman in a pink shirt that was battling with Jill Daniels. This is the-- I mean, it's not that much information in these calls, but they're just-- they're amusing. Come on, let's be honest. Here's Cut 29. Let me show you, and it's clear. It was an argument over the EK trial. And I'll take an L.A. I think people sitting on the steps are going to leave on foot. And the other two were going to head out in a vehicle. Well, one of the pink shirt was OK to drive. Oh, thank God, thank God the McAlberts weren't getting in a car. It's dangerous enough when they're driving around Canton, which they've been driving drunk in their whole lives. And I don't want them in a place that they may not be quite as familiar with as they are in wonderful Norfolk County. 844, 542, 42. Judy Crocker is here. Judy's there. Will Crocker's better half. Go ahead, Judy. Hi. I'm a little more up to date than he is this afternoon on the status of the first Barnstable District. We have a great candidate, former Marine. His name is Jerry O'Connell. He's running for state representative. His campaign kickoff is August 1st at 5 PM at the Moonfish Restaurant in Dennis, West Dennis. He's right and he needs 150 right ends. The ballots are actually out in Dennis. I don't know about Yarmith and Brewster, but I know they're out in Dennis. So if anybody has a right in ballot and wants to beat up Chris Flanagan, they could write Jerry O'Connell, 24 Gini's past Yarmith Port. All right, so I tell you what. I tell you what, Judy, as we get closer to August 1st, we'll have him on the show. He's Jerry O'Connell. He's an ex-Marine, and he lives in Dennis? Yep. OK. Yep. No, he lives in the Yarmith Port. Oh, excuse me. This is Yarmith Port. His kickoff is in Dennis. Tim Whalen is going to be there as a special guest. So we're rolling forward. Chris Flanagan made some big mistakes. And I don't even know if you can call them mistakes. I personally think they're criminal. Yes, you're being very kind to him, Judy, to call them mistakes. Well, I might have been sworn to this. Yeah, it was not mistake. There was nothing. If you read that six page report, there is no mistaking anything there. The man, I personally think that it should have been referred to the attorney general's office if you ask my personal opinion. So Jerry O'Connell, he lives in Yarmith Port. And his kickoff is going to be August 1st at the moonfish restaurant in East Dennis. We'll have him on, and we'll tell people how to get-- I guess they're printing stickers, right? That's the easiest way to get on us. Yeah, you know, the town clerks don't really like stickers, so we're still trying to figure all that out. The easiest thing to do is just write Jerry O'Connell, 24. Jeannie's path in Yarmith Port, well, as we get a little closer since the mail-in ballots are already out as we get closer just September 3rd. Well, we'll have a plan. When some of us called the Secretary of State's Office to find out when they were mailing the ballots to the town clerks, we were told August 5th. Really? But they had a little bit more time. But now it turns out there are already going out, so OK. OK, keep us informed. We want to get Jerry O'Connell onto the November ballot against this typical hack. He's in his first term, but he's already a typical Democrat hack, Chris Flanagan. Thanks, Judy. Thanks for calling in. I'm Howie Carr. [MUSIC PLAYING] Live from the Matthews Brothers Studios. 844-500-4242-339. Did anyone check the shipwreck barking? Lot for broken taillights. It's still early. The broken taillight pieces start showing up about a week to two weeks after the accident. You know that. 844-500-4242, Arden says, Howie, you know what's amazing? Big Nick's ride was this weekend to nearly 2,000 motorcycles, and they were far less disruptive than Kamala's motorcade. And the motorcycles were on the road for a good cause, not legal grafts, raising money for a charity. Yeah, I know. It's absurd. That was such a waste. If you haven't ever been trapped by a political motorcade, the exasperation is off the charts. I mean, it's bad enough to be stopped any time, because somebody was careless and illegally and wasn't paying attention, whatever. And you're stuck in traffic. But when it's a politician going somewhere to raise money, especially a politician, as loathsome as Kamala Harris, or as I've been stuck again, I've been stuck in Al Gore motorcades for his Harvard reunion, or Hillary Clinton coming into New York to campaign for the Senate way back when I was there on a Friday afternoon, trying to get to a Mets game. It's just-- it's horrible. I guess the worst one, though, was Mondale in like '78, I guess it was. There was a blizzard was-- not a blizzard, a snowstorm was starting on a Friday afternoon. And he was at a fundraiser, and he wanted to go down to the globe so he could kiss some Yankee rear ends, some bow tied bum kissers, some bums, and they closed off the expressway. And people were just, you know, realized they were going to have a hard time getting home as the snow kept piling up. And he's just sitting there with all these swells from the Boston Globe, everybody with a trust fund. Good Lord. 603, "Hose many Jameson and Genjes, do you have to get shipwrecked? Do you have to have to get shipwrecked at the shipwreck?" I'm sure they had plenty. I'm sure they had plenty. Eddie, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Eddie. Hey, Howie. Just aside by Howie, I was at my wedding. I was going to Hawaii, and Hillary was coming in, and he closed the summer tunnel cost me half a day in Hawaii. [LAUGHTER] But I'm trying to figure out, I haven't heard anything. I know Kamala can't make the speech by Netanyahu, but do you think she'd be contributing to the bail fund for all these-- You know, the reason I went to you first, Eddie, is because the Palm Beach playbook from the Clinton-- the Trump campaign today just put out some of the people. You know, Kamala Kamala is a-- she's big into these bail funds from 2020. And let me read you some of the people she raised money for. Kamala Harris-- this is, again, from the Trump campaign, the War Room-- Kamala Harris raised money to bail accused murderers, rapists, and other violent offenders out of jail, and released them back onto the streets. Here are a few examples. Donovan Boone-- no relation to Daniel. Boone was charged with invading the home of his ex-girlfriend and strangling her. Christopher Boswell-- no relation to Dr. Johnson's biographer. Boswell, a twice convicted rapist, was charged with kidnapping, assault, and sexual assault in 2020. Darnika Floyd-- I don't know if Darnika has any relation to St. George Floyd. In January 2020, Floyd was charged with second degree murder after fatally stabbing a man who refused to have sex with her. Thomas-- these are the people that Kamala Harris' bail fund helped get out of jail so they could commit more crimes. Thomas Mosley-- Mosley was arrested for damaging a police station, drug charges, weapons charges, and rioting charges. He was a mostly peaceful protester, in other words. Sean Tillman-- upon release, thanks to his bail being made by the bail fund that Kamala Harris was endorsing, Tillman brutally murdered a passenger at a rail station in St. Paul, Minnesota. So that's her record on that, Eddie. She's a prosecutor, you know. That's where they're going to portray her as a prosecutor. Some prosecutor. She has a brain of a tomato, how are you? Is that fair to tomatoes, Eddie? Come on. Probably not. She's not real bright. You're right about that. Thanks, Eddie. 844-542-42, Rob, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Rob. Howie, I'm disappointed in you today. Usually you give us better information than the so-called news reporters in the media, and certainly more information than we get out of the White House. Who is in charge of the Secret Service? I mean, the-- I don't know. I don't know that. All I know is that Joe and Joe are-- they want to thank her for her years of dedicated service. But that's the way they put it out. Jill and I would like to congratulate or express our gratitude. Wouldn't it be reassuring to know who's in charge and who's going to do a better job than she'll? Well, do you think it's really going to make a difference in this administration, Rob? I don't know. Well, no. Maybe the second in command of the holdover from Trump. That'd be great. [LAUGHTER] I would just settle for someone who's a careerist from a pre-Obama. You know, that's when the rot really began. That's when they began purging all of these federal bureaucracies of anyone who had any kind of pro-American sentiment. Thanks for the call, Rob. Andrew, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Andrew. Hey, Howie. So I heard you lamenting the disruption and inconvenience of the Camilla motorcade there. So I thought maybe this story might cherry up oddly enough. I just so happened to be down in the Wellfleet area, cruising around with my Trump flag, spreading joy and trumpiness wherever I go. Wellfleet, of course, is next to is next to Provincetowns. I just for people who aren't familiar with the geography, go ahead. Yeah, and I'd never been to Provincetown before. I had no real inclination to go there for any reason whatsoever. But it was a nice day for a drive. And I thought, well, what the hell? Now, mind you, I hadn't heard anything about her being down there. This is an odd coincidence. So I decided to take a drive down that way. Well, we should know everybody pulls over because they see a state trooper come whipping up the road the other way with his lights on. So we all pull over and I'm at the front of the line of traffic with my Trump 2024 No More BS flag. And my Joe Biden is a donkey hole flag, weaving patriotically in the breeze just in time for the whole motorcade to drive right by it on my way to Provincetown to share joy and Trumpiness. By the way, I don't think they got the memo about being no place for hate. My gosh, man, the foaming at the mouth that went on up there when they saw that Trump flag be with the Joe Biden flag. I'm not really sure. But did they give you the finger? Did they give you the finger, Andrew? That was the nicest gesture. But oddly enough, how-- What did they do to you? What did-- now, remember we have the FCC, seven word regulations. But what did they do to you, Andrew? What did they say? Well, there was a kind of load of very-- shall we say, not overtly attractive female characters in a car with a-- I stand with Planned Parenthood bumper sticker? Yes. They were the most unhinged. But the problem with it is, Howard, when you pass somebody on the highway, shouting, and screaming at them, you've got to be careful. You're not coming up to a red light, where they're going to be able to slowly roll past you with the flags that offend you while smiling and waving and giving them a thumbs up. So it was an entertaining and interesting experience. [LAUGHTER] Good for you, Andrew. I'm glad somebody on the Cape is a regular, normal American citizen, i.e., a Trump voter had a good time down there last weekend. Thanks for the call. Mark, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Mark. Hi, Ollie. I just wanted to give you my take on the events of 10 days ago. But first, I just wanted to start with Dallas, 1963. November '63, when a standing United States president had his brains blown out by a sniper sitting six floors up in a building. And you know that old saying that those that do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it. Yes. So we go ahead now. And you have this mental little boy who gets up on this rooftop, which apparently is not within the perimeter of the Secret Service. And I just look at what all the events that have happened to Donald Trump. And January of 2017, you had crossfire hurricane in the Russian collusion. You had the 2 and 1/2 year Mueller investigation. You had two impeachments. And then four indictments and four different jurisdictions. For Howie, what would prevent each state from trying to assassinate Donald Trump? That's my question. You know, people have been tweeting that out. They tried to keep him off the ballot. They indicted him. They tried him. And then they shot him. And Sean Davis from the Federalist, who's normally a pretty responsible sober guy. He's the one who broke the story about how the Secret Service had denied Trump the protection he'd been asking for. And again, Mayorkas lied about that and said they hadn't done it, but they had. They've admitted it now. You know, he said, is there any coincidence that Biden waited until after the assassination attempt failed to pull out? And he was just raising the question. And I'm just raising the question, too. And so are you raising the question? I mean, what are we supposed to think? I mean, we're in November. As you started out with talking about November in 1963, that was uncharted waters for the American political life. But this is uncharted waters as well. This is in some ways even weirder than that. Thanks for the call, Mark. 844, 500, 42, 42, Howie Carr. Get a crash course from the captain on everything he's talking about in today's show. Go to howiecarshow.com and click on today's edition of Howie's Homework. You'll be up to speed on today's news in no time. [MUSIC PLAYING] Howie Carr is back. [MUSIC PLAYING] We're trying to get Turtle Boy on the line. There's new information just breaking now. The dominoes continue to fall at general headquarters on Route 9 in Framingham of the Mass State Police. Rigid the story by Ted Daniel from Boston 25. 25 Investigates has confirmed with Mass State Police that three troopers working with Norfolk County DA's officer under internal investigation. All three communicated by text with trooper Michael Proctor who sent disparaging messages about Carr and Reed on his personal cell phone to friends and state police colleagues. I was just asking Turtle Boy about this last night, but the Yuri Bukhenik specifically. So Reed is charged in the death of a boyfriend. You know that stuff. Anyway, in an email sent exclusively to investigative reporter Ted Daniel, an MSP spokesperson, wrote, quote, "The Massachusetts State Police confirmed that Detective Lieutenant Brian Tully. He's one of the cone heads. Lieutenant John Fanning and Sergeant Yuri Bukhenik are each the subject of an active internal affairs investigation. The department respectfully declines further comment and fairness to the integrity of the process and pending investigative outcome. The troopers remain on full duty at this time." Full duty. The interesting thing, though, is that as Turtle Boy just pointed out in a tweet moments ago, that Tully was not on this text chat group. Tully was the guy who was in charge of arresting Turtle Boy when they were framing him up on that witness intimidation and whatever it was that they put him in jail for two months on. So this is-- Ted Daniel, I mean, he's got the story. That's a big scoop and all that. But you know, Tully is not the lieutenant that was on the phone messages. Lieutenant John Fanning was on the text message chain. This is very interesting that they're going after Fanning and Bukhenik. Bukhenik is the one who, when Proctor, was saying, I'm searching through Karen Reed's phone, but no nudes yet. Bukhenik is the one who said that he texted back a like emoji or some such thing as that. So this is-- I mean, it's not unexpected, but it shows the way they're moving here with this. So now all of these people, all of these people that work for Meatball Morrissey, the district attorney of Norfolk County, who wants to continue the trial, even though the jurors voted unanimously to acquit her on the second degree murder and the manslaughter charges. And he just got a pay raise. Don't forget that either. He just got a pay raise last week in the new state budget from $191,000 a year to $223,000 a year. 844, 542, 42. If we get the turtle boy here in the last couple of minutes, we'll put him on. But in the meantime, we'll take a couple more calls. Chris, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Chris. Yeah, here at Howie, Norfolk, Florida Central. Long story short is I got a-- I downloaded a video. I could send it to you. Harris on a YouTube commercial calling Trump a threat to democracy, claiming that he's going to be a dictator. She says he claims that he's going to be a dictator the minute he gets into office. What else? She says at the end-- No, I've seen it. I turned it off as soon as I got to the skip ad part of it. You know, everybody who goes to YouTube is going to see that for the next foreseeable future, Chris. I understand, but thanks for the call. I mean, what else are they going to say? This stuff doesn't work, threat to democracy. After they just staged a coup? I mean, maybe multiple coups. Well, at least one coup they staged, we know of, for sure. Dan, you're next with Howie Carr. Go ahead, Dan. Hi, Howie. Hi. Thanks for taking my call. I've only called a couple of times, listened to you for years. Hey, just one thing I wanted to mention real quick. And it's so crazy. It sounds like a lack of conspiracy job. But it's so easy to verify. A company called Austin Private Wealth Management. They're in Austin, Texas. They placed a put. It's called a P-U. Oh, no, I know what you're talking about. And someone asked me to ask John from New York about that, but I didn't get to it. They placed a put. They were a couple of days before the assassination attempt on Donald Trump. Yeah, they placed the ad and they're trying to-- and it's very suspicious that the error. It's very eyebrow raising. Let's put it that way. I'm going to leave it at that, Dan, just that they were trying. Put means you're betting on a stock to take a big tumble. And you'll make a lot of money. It's a bet. That's what it is. It's a stock market bet. And they were betting that the price was going to go way down. And of course, it would have gone way down if Trump had been assassinated. And they just happened to make that bet on the day before the assassination attempt. And well, it's there. It's there. It's out there. 844, 500, 42, 42, 844, 500, 42, 42, so three more state cops from Meatball Morrissey's office under internal investigation. They remain on duty, however. Turtle boy tonight on the air.
