The Ben 10 Podcast That Nobody Asked For

21. There Is Such a Thing as Too Much Stinkfly

“Ok, I don’t have THAT high integrity.”

Do you want to know what six people think of Mike Tyson Vs Jake Paul? Well, my friends, have we got the podcast episode for you! On top of that, the decision on what to get for dinner comes around once again, and is made quickly and (relatively) painlessly. But, where there is light, there must also be darkness. Where there is yin, there must be yang. It’s finally happened. After one cock-up too many, Nat gets replaced as ‘person-who-reads-synopses.

Welcome back to the Bin Tim podcast nobody asked for. I am Nett. I'm Sam. And I'm James. I'm Joe. I'm Bailey. I'm Izzy. Season four episode one, perfect day. Bin finds himself having a seemingly perfect day only to discover that it's a plot con doc con... Season one, episode four. Perfect day. Bin finds himself. Deep breath. Bin finds himself having a seemingly perfect day only to discover that it's a plot concocted by Enoch in an effort to retrieve the Omnitrix. There were some fun callbacks in this episode. Bin becomes a mega deck. Yeah. I'm sorry, I just have to start with that. So... As soon as any of the things of like, Krams guy, he's just like, "Yeah, it does, like, Gwen's being nice to him." And he's like, "Screw you, puke face." Power does not corrupt power reveals. I personally never... Like, he almost does the right thing. The thing. I'm sorry, no, I just needed it. He almost does the right thing. Looks to max for that. Like, I'm doing the right thing right. And then obviously the brainwashing thing's like, "No, do it." Uh, I personally never like episodes or scenes like that where the character, where the main character has put in like a dream simulation thing. Yeah. It inspires them. It is pretty, pretty boring. But on that note, I do love what they did at the ending of making it seem like, "Oh no, he actually escaped and got it." No, he's in a dream. No, yeah, he's in a dream. The villain was in a dream. The villain was in a dream. Yeah, what a nice fake act. We got an inception. It was a bit of an inception. A bit of an... A bit of an inception within our bin ASOLs. So we all know Chris Benollin was a big fan of bin tears. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It was your head like, "Hey, Bailey." It was your head like, "Hey, Bailey." You're a regional inspiration for inception. I remember we watched "Famed" in season two with Lieutenant Steel showing up. When we recorded, I was like, "Man, it would be really cool if Lieutenant Steel was a character who came back because he never does." But no, he comes back in this episode in the dream. Which kind of makes sense because it's just pulling down. And then calling them saying that Grandpa and Gwyn are limaxes, that's the shapeshifters from the permanent retirement episode in season one. Nice callbacks. Well, so the only place I'm kind of confused of is we did Grandpa and Gwyn come from. They're like the real visions. Did you not watch the episode? Yeah, James, there's a scene where they show they do a whole flashback explanation of how they get in there. Like, they show them waking up. Yeah, they know. They're in the rust bucket. How did I miss these scenes I was watching? Where are you? I was. It sounds like you weren't. What were you thinking about though? I was thinking about that talking about how deep Kevin's throat was. That's a different scene. I did see the scene where they wake up in the rust bucket. But I still hated that. I think they should have been drawn from Ben's subconscious like everything else trying to wake him up. The fact that they had their own little little pollen to helmets. Are you saying it's like the ones that are egging him to be like bad and lazy and stuff? Are the ones that are from the machine? The other two should be from his subconscious. Yeah, I can get behind that. That would be an interesting thing. I obviously miss those scenes. That is what I thought happened. I thought it was, oh, Ben's actually learned some lessons and his consciousness is going, dude, what the f*** are you doing? When we're presenting his intelligence and his logical approach to deduction and grandpa being his moral center. Yeah, that would be cool. That would be good. They didn't do that. Unfortunately, they did not do that. That failed the test. Because the isn't it. It still Ben's head. Yeah, and it's Ben's mind. You don't ask her correctly, you just go see. Because he's got degrees. He's probably four seasons in and, you know, he should have learned some lessons by now. So, yeah, I just, I hate the whole, I hate that formula I always have as well. I do say Ben is the character which is good because no matter how big he grows, like we've got so many moments when we're like, oh, wow, he's really grown. The moment any amount of power goes to this man, it's like straight to his head. Like immediately like, I am God worshiping two people. Two people would have made nachos. What the hell? Oh my God. The good nachos, you need two people. What? No, you do not need to know. Do you cook? For yourself? Sometimes. He's cooking. That's all he answered. Did he cook? Yeah, the answer sometimes. He did cook us two nuggets. I can cook some. There are a few, there are a few really nice things. I know how to cook, but I don't like, Does not one of them? I don't like to spend a lot of time because I, I eat my dinners pretty quick. And I don't, I don't. You don't want to go out? No, I don't like spending an hour on something that I'm going to finish in 10 minutes. Kind of thing. For me, it's not, it's often not worth it that putting time, that much time into it and not getting it much time. But also I have other things to do. Like watching 10. Good enough. So, I mean, were there, was there any stand-up mounts in this episode? Or was it kind of pretty run in the mill? I liked Ultra Ben. I liked Ultra Ben was cool. Because we got Ultra Ben in season two in his fantasies, and now we saw Ultra Ben for real. Well, I do kind of like the idea that this kind of can turn into really in the early midi ones. So what does anyone's dreams? Superhero. Yeah, that's understandable. Yeah, for sure. But it's better. Ultra Ben would have been in fantasy before the only two. Yeah, for sure. Man, it's this idea of him that's always stuck in the out, that's always stuck in the back of his mind. I do find it interesting how he learned that he's in a dream, and then knows that he can alter it in any way. And he's not just like, "Oh, just become like, every alien, but better." Yeah, he wants to be able to suffer. Like, he's just like, "I become Super Ben." Ultra Ben, yeah. Did like the little thing we turned going into a rat. That was just kind of funny. That was just so, so dickish. So we got some chomping this episode. We did get a good old chomp. We did get a good chomp. And I'll tell you what, we didn't see Ripped Jaws, but Kevin, when he opened his mouth, that was Ripped Jaws. He was with us with Jason. He was with us with a chomp. We got Ripped Jaws at home. Yeah, we got the knockoff version of Ripped Jaws at home. Oh, no. He's dying Ripped Jaws at home. It's dying Ripped Jaws at home. What's the kid's name from, um, Toy Story that melds all the toys together? Sid. Sid. We got the Sid version of, uh, yeah. Oh, no. Like, 'cause Kevin's still a cool designer. No, it's a really cool design, but he is in a amalgamation of just different things. Yeah. What do you guys want to do for dinner? That's a great question. What are your customers like? Are we going to decide this on the podcast? Absolutely. We leave all of this. We did decide last night on the podcast. Do you want to just order it again? Yeah. Like, what did you, what do you think we have time? To do anything else? No, we've gone. I would like, I would like to go home and go to bed today. That would be nice. Yeah, okay. So, what do we, what do we, what's the food on? Figure that out when we're watching the episode, guys. We want to watch the episode. Okay, okay, okay. My vote is just anything that's not good, because we haven't lost it. Yeah. There may be some subways, like a little healthier side. I like to see the act. I don't know. All right. I need to see what is available in this area. All right. We'll come back to you, uh, with the next episode and our dinner decisions. Yeah, I'll let it go. All right. Uh, we decided we will be getting dominoes tonight. Hashtag not sponsored. Not sponsored. Season four, episode two, divided we stand. While at the beach, Ben discovers a new alien hero with the power to duplicate itself. Ben must use this new form to defeat Dr. Anima and his army of mutated stink flies. It'll be fine in the edit. It'll sound fine. No, I, I, I just one day you're going to be able to say one like you've been so good. You've been so amazing, mate. I have been on it. Close those windows. Oh, thank you. But recently you've just been. Would someone else like to do it? Would someone else like to go? I mean, he did a pretty good job there on time. Oh, listen, I have dislated. That was like that. I rolled a nap. That was a fun. I got a nap. You don't have to need a game. Is he? Net just written so many times that Sam like picked it up. Yeah, no, Sam figured out what the words were. If you guys can do the shakes for you, you can do that. Ah, I'm not a drama student. I was. I butchered half my words. But do you guys remember this? It was in 12 night. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yes. That was a twin, mate. Oh, yeah. Do you want to do that? Oh, would you like to read the next one? It's going to be. I know it's fine. Oh, it's fine. It's probably going to be the heart of the episode. And then I, uh, I'll bring out the ad. You got the season four episode two. Thank you very much. Season four episode two divided we stand. While at the beach, Ben discovers a new alien hero with the power to duplicate itself. Ben must use this new form to defeat Dr. Anemo and his army of mutated stink flies. That was really good. Yeah. Damn. That's so awesome. That's insane. That's nasty. Fizzy. Second. Second. Good. Oh, I'm already rolling. That's the audience that's kind of fit. For now. All right. So what did we think of the episode? I think it was fun. It was fun. It was fun. The return of Dr. Anemo. I liked that they actually showed us, uh, an escaping from prison for once. Because normally it just shows up. It's like, oh, he's back. There. There. There. There. So you go. I was going to say, how the f*** did he get his device in? Like it's so fun because you're on zips and it's just on a stomach like he's just got there. Well, it's not what it's been through, Ben. The piece by piece, right? Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, yeah. Like little bits and pieces. Yeah. Yeah. Uh, Dr. Anemo needs a tan or at least thinks he's going to see a doctor about that skin condition. Oh, I feel like he's looking like pale but green at the same time. Very green. And, uh, I don't think he's well. Maybe it's all the mutation use thing. It could be. It could be. Yeah. I think it's implied. Like when you first meet him, he's really green. I was going to say, yeah. All words lead to crab. He was looking pretty crabby this time. Yeah, he was. He was very crab-tastic. I thought he was going after a snail. But I have, especially with the big thing when it's bad. No, but he had the crab-shaped dome. Oh. It was very crab-tastic. Crabby-boom. Crabby-boom. Do we, do we, do we miss crab? Do we miss crab voiced by Billy West from season one, episode five, hunted? No, I miss Riley. I feel really sorry for that dude whose boat got blown up. Oh, my God. Just because, just because something needs to be- Insurance, yeah. Hopefully he has Geico. Yeah. What is insurance like in the U.S. though? Bad. Because like, if they need to kill something and it's a cartoon, they can't just pull out a gun and pop it in its head. Like, they can't just pop a cap in its head. Like, they can't do it. Good, right. They've got, they've got to make it explicit. Grampart X, plumber issued standard, the 9 million. Yeah, I'm wet. Just pulls out a guacula. He just pulls out like the dirty Harry like- Yeah, yeah. This is why I should have done the Vilgex long ago. The real stories revealed, it's like, uh, grandpa lied. How did you actually defeat Vilgex? Oh, I popped him in the head. Yeah. I'm the champ. Shotgun. I did it like hyphen. I popped the cap in the back. No, no, that's- That's what you seem in the test tube missing so much for himself. It's just amazing. It's like, I got hung. I took a bite. I'm a bite of the air off. On that note, I really hope Jacob gets his input and off. That would be so intense to me to- Just a little number one. We'll have more rules released around there. And it's like, it's going to be put on professional records. Oh, my- Awesome. Who's that? My example. My example. My example. My example is my Tyson. Yeah. He's in front of a fight. It's going to be put on professional records. They're using 14 ounce gloves, which- Is he has clasped both her hands over her mouth for sure? And one of the also great things is, um, Oh, well, great for anyone who's a fan of my Tyson, is apparently Jake Paul came out saying about Mike Tyson's dead daughter. Oh, okay. Oh, my- So we've got more personal. So, Mike Tyson even retired, right? Because obviously Jake Paul obviously has a streak of just fighting retired fighters. And it very much always looks like a thrown fight. Yes, he did. He did retire and he came out of it. And he had like a 10 year gap. I mean, he bought someone a few years. Roy Jones Jr. I mean, Roy Jones Jr. It was an exhibition fight though. Yeah, and that was like a 10 year gap of him not fighting. Or even training. They weren't allowed to knock each other out. Yeah. They weren't allowed to go for it. But this is- Regardless- Prostep. Yeah. Regardless of- In his prime or not, Jake Paul is going to get his arse beat. I hope so. Yeah. Jake Paul basically, um, the whole boxing create- He's not really a boxer. He just plays the villain. Yes. Like he plays the one, he goes, he pisses off like- It's very wrestling. Which is funny because his brother is actually a really good wrestler. Does do really. So here's the thing coming from someone who watches a lot of fighting. Probably too much fighting. Is he could be a wonderful boxer. But yeah, he fights either retired boxers, random basketball players, ex MMA people who are well into their forties. The first boxer, professional boxer ever fought Tommy Fury, brother of Tyson Fury. Oh yes. He lost. Yeah. And now he's going back to fighting a semi-retired boxer. Mike Tyson is 57. If he beats Mike Tyson, it's like, well you'd be at 57 year old bro. Yeah. Mike Tyson was 67. No, he's 57. I looked it up because my girlfriend's mom was like, I want his ass to be beat. She taught me last night. I want his ass to be beat. I will be, I will be, I will be died. And it's like, it's like, do you actually hope he dies? He's like, oh no, but they do not know what they were for us. I hope he suffers. But his brother Logan, even though he's also an asshole, is a very talented professional wrestler. He just, in the WWE, he played the role with the role. He was the villain, right? Yeah, he was, he played it here. He was a really good hero. Yeah, that makes sense. He's still a horrible person. But he's the one that I will say, which is a really good one, which is, I think it was just fighting against Rey Mysterio and he under flips. And it was going to be a thing of Rey Mysterio is going to land on his neck. And he caught him. Yeah, he caught him. He saved him. And it's like this really good bit of him being like, I saw it happening. And I saw, I think his dismount of the ropes wasn't right. Right. And it was like, Logan goes in and catches him. Oh, that's really nice. And it's just a thing of like, it's got to be nice. It's like, it's like, it's like, in the moment, he's catching him out of the move to send him into one of his own. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. But like, him afterwards was like, that was not planned. And Rey was like, that was not planned. Yeah, he saved him. And he read this. Yeah. Like really good reflex. He saved him. He saved him. He wrote this with it in the WWE. There's so much like, that happens. That is like, it looks scripted. And then the person's like, I have broken a bone in my body. I literally just watched the pay-per-view that was just in France a few hours ago. Oh, wow. We're watching Pinti. Anyway, maybe we should be doing this. I really liked it, though. Who's the, who's the name of the guy in the voice? He's Rob Paulson. Rob Paulson, that is an iconic voice. He is a brilliant voice actor. Did I was one of my favorites? Because I'm just a big fan of Animaniacs, Looney Tunes style shenanigans. Yeah, yeah. And that's all he is, and I love them for it. Yeah. You know how we were saying before how all the aliens kind of take on the clothing of Ben. Yeah. Yeah. So like, Dido was black and white. Does that mean if the watch went to Max, that Dido would have been Hawaiian? It would have been amazing. And it would have fit so well. No, I just thought that was quite funny to think about. Yeah, but like that becomes a thing of like, what is skin and what is on the tricks outfit? Yeah. Yeah, true, true, true, true. Well, because I've combined a couple of times in the show just about the frequency of puns. Okay, but specifically about the frequency of the puns, they kind of started to weigh me down. I wasn't enjoying it as much. This character really, really fits the puns, obviously because of the moves. And just everything rolls off the time. It's fantastic. Yeah. Yeah. Pause in this video. Oh, also go, I got to say we started off this episode by seeing none other than Ripjaws. Like. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And really, really good. And really good. Cheers. The moment. The energy in the room at that moment could have powered the eastern seaboard for all the screams. Are all the stats for that? It's one a piece. Okay. So all aliens. So the stats for that one was Diamond Head for um, Grey Matter, Accelerate, Ripjaws, Ditto 2 and Upgrade 1. That's what we've got. And we're not, we're not counting on the first episode because simulation. So everyone's on the first episode. Oh, we did? Okay. Yeah. Okay. I mean, guess simulation. I'll just tell you that. Here's the one. Here's the one. Here's the one. There's two. He did it twice. If I see Ben turn into an alien, I'll count them. And he has been counting. Or if the episode starts and he's in Alien 4. Or if it's a, you know what? Alien. I'm a, I'm a, I'm a, I'm a hit the plus 1 button when I feel like it's the aliens I feel like. But I feel like it. So just putting on Richl, then we'll call it now. Listen, I would love to, but the rules committee would have my eyes. They would have my license. I was going to offer you a fiber though. I don't have that high integrity. You need to buy anything. All right, that's there. But yeah, oh, it was a funny episode. The, oh yeah, the Kraken. We got a Kraken. The Kraken. We had a Kraken. I thought we were going to get a Kraken. We, we, I mean, we also got a Kraken. We got a Kraken. We got a Kraken. The Kraken. The Kraken. Yeah. The Kraken. The Kraken. Yeah. That could somehow understand English. Yeah. That could be true. Yeah. Ditto, kiddo, kiddo, kiddo, kiddo. But the pie. Ditto, kiddo, kiddo apparently breathe on the water. Yeah, that's what I felt really weird. Yeah. And we found out that seagulls really hate being called chickens. Yeah. Or having your eyes shut down their legs. Yeah, James, if I were to call you, you know, a pussy. I don't know. No, if I were to call you a brick wall, you're not a brick wall. You wouldn't take that very well. I thought you were going to try to find something in this end genealogy. You know, something that's actually alive, maybe. But that's all right. Yeah. I mean, if I were to call you a pot of plants. I think for it, dude, I'm a pot of plants. Has he been spawned a few thousand feet? Have you? If he didn't, if I were to compare you to a summer's day. I would call it love in the heart. Should we give you guys some room? Yeah. Well, we'll work with the rest of the podcast. I'm just saying me and James slept down here the whole night next to each other. We did. Yeah, it's a very thin floor here. My bedroom's just underneath. I'm so sorry. All right. So do we have anything else to say about the episode? That had some very strong reactions to the sing-fly mutation. Oh, okay. Oh, yeah, that's great. Okay. So yeah, so in Dr. Anima in the mutant ray, it was just the thing where when Ben dropped the ring from the omnitrix on the ground. Worms the cutest-fly. Yeah. Mutated some worms to look like stink-fly. Then when Anima zaps grandpa knacks, that makes him a stink-fly lava creature. That's the most disgusting thing ever. And it's just like, we kind of talked about how, oh, it throws stink-fly because that's like the most alien, weird thing the omnitrix can make things look like. So that was probably the art decision there. And then when Anima was like, here are my new aliens. And I'm like, oh no, they're going to be stink-flies, right? And they were giant stink-flies. And he didn't even have it. He had ditto with him. It makes no sense. Even when he said like, I can unlock all your aliens DNA using this one. Who wasn't? Someone in this room said that's stupid. That was me. I was like, how? Like, that's stupid. Yeah. Like, you have one strand of DNA. Yeah, I really like that one. Even breed alien. I'm a lovely computer scientist told me that he learned that in computer science. And as I think my quote was, "science." You're a real scientist, sir. I'm something of a scientist, myself. Wish it ended right there because that was dope. Okay. Does it stop? You've been listening to the Bentim podcast that nobody asked for, one of the podcasts of all time.
