Come on up, I'm going to be talking about the old man in Tunisia, Chinatown and much more, but before we go any further, make sure you do hit that subscribe button to keep up with the latest Disney+ News. Hi, it's Roger here, firm, what's on at Disney+.com, so I've recorded Disney+ News roundup and there's quite a little bit of news I want to jump in today because Disney had a major day at the television critics association summer tour. Now, this is a day when they bring all the big press-in from Los Angeles and we've got a lot of trailers, a lot of announcements and stuff, so I'm going to kind of be jumping through them. Generally, it's mainly focused around FX plus also there were some other shows like Freeform, AB6, etc. But the key thing really is, in the past they have done stuff for Disney+ but it looks like, to be honest, everything's just been sort of squished down to one day for Disney, so I'm not expecting too much more news since they got most of it out. But this is generally, I think, gonna sort of give us an idea of what's coming up over the next few months and for the winter. But again, no major big Disney+ stuff here, we're very much now in that case of the Hulu and the linear television is kind of feeding all the content dropping in on there now. So, let's jump into it, let's start off with FX. So, we're gonna start off with a big one, the old man season two dropping on to FX on the 12th of September. It's also going to be then dropping on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ the day after. So, that's going to pretty much apply to most of the things I'm going to be talking about. Also, we'll be coming to Disney+ around the world. I love the first season. I am so in on this next one. In the second season, former CIA agent Dan and also the former FBI assistant director Harold said to recover Emily Chase after she is kidnapped as the stakes rise and secrets are uncovered and Emily finds herself an identity crisis with dire implications and Zoe makes surprisingly move into Chase's world. The teaser trailer didn't really give it a lot of way, just standing there, you know, big gun helicopter. It just is, this is a bit of me. This is, I can't wait for this series. This is definitely the out of everything that got announced. This is the one thing I'm watching this one each and every week. I can't wait for the return of the old man, one of my favorite FX shows from recent years, but I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what they do with this one, but let us know your thoughts on the old man in the comments below. Keeping on the FX train, we're also now talking about Li to Fly, which is a new documentary from the New York Times. This will be dropping on Friday, August 23rd on FX, available again next day, Hulu and Disney+ in the US. That one won't be out on Disney+ internationally because those ones tend not to be. We've also got a brand new comedy series coming out again on FX on Monday the 2nd of September with the first two episodes of this eight episode series. It will also be coming to Disney+ internationally. English teaches all about a character called Evan, who is a high school teacher in Austin, Texas, who often finds himself at the intersection of personal, professional and political aspects of working at a high school. We also got some information on the brand new series of FX American sports story, Aaron Hernandez. This one is all about the NFL star who ended up going on to kill someone and following his rice phone. This is from Ryan Murphy. I'm really interested to see what this series is all about. I have seen it from the point of view, from a couple of Patriots documentaries that have been out recently, including Man in the Arena, which was on Disney+ here in the UK, also on Apple TV. I've also got my very first NFL game with the Patriots versus the Jacksonville Jaguars later this year, so I've kind of engrossed in this all at the precise minute, and yeah, so I'm looking forward to seeing what they're doing, because obviously they covered the story in those documentaries, so having a much more detailed drama series, yeah, definitely when I'm looking forward to watching. Also, generally, I do like the American crime story documentary. I also do like the American crime stories that we've seen before, so this one's kind of a spin on that, and Ryan Murphy just makes some amazing shows. So looking forward to seeing this one. This one is going to be dropping on to FX first, and this will be dropping with the first of two episodes dropping on Tuesday, September the 17th at 10 p.m. on FX, and obviously it'll be available the next day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. It'll also be out on Disney+ internationally. We've also got another brand new series called Social Studies. This will be coming out on Friday the 27th for September. Again, on FX and the following day, it will be on Hulu and at Disney+. The interesting thing with this one, they're going to drop two episodes on the linear channel, but they're actually going to drop all five episodes on Hulu, and it will also be available on Disney+ internationally at select territories at a later date, and this one is all about kind of looking into the lives of the first generation that raced on social media, which I think is always interested in what they do this, because I do wonder like, you know, the damages that are being done by social media of how intoxicating it is and how much stress and stuff, and I'm someone here. You know, there's just social media. It's just terrible. So it'll be interesting to see how this documentary comes in. So I'm definitely interested in it, but also generally fine with FX stuff. They are pretty cool. So definitely looking forward it, but let me know what you think of this one and the other FX shows in the comments below. Disney's also released some first-look images from the brand new drama series Interior Chinatown, which is based on the award-winning book of the same name. The show follows Willis, who is a background character trapped in a police procedural called Black and White, relegated to the background. Willis goes through the motions of his on-screen job waiting tables and dreaming about a whole world beyond Chinatown, but when he is invertly becomes a witness to a crime, his life begins to unravel a criminal web in Chinatown. The first-look images are pretty cool. You've also got Chloe here. You might know, um, Agents of Shield, which was fantastic in that one there, and this one's going to be coming out on Hulu and Hulu on Disney Plus in the United States on Tuesday the 19th of November. I'd also expect it to be released on Disney Plus at the same time around the world, but again, that hasn't been confirmed. Always just kind of figuring out where these shows, the US kind of stuff comes out and the international announcements usually come a little bit later, but another great show. But let me know you're excited about Interior Chinatown. Let me know in the comments below. We're also going to brand new trailer for the upcoming documentary series Wayne Brady, The Family Remix. This one is going to be coming out on a free form on Wednesday the 24th of July. It'll also be available the next day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney Plus. No word yet on if this one's going to be coming out on Disney Plus internationally, it's going to have to wait and see some of those things with some of the documentary series when they're not made by one of the big Disney studios. It's always a little bit iffy. Trainor, very interesting in terms of kind of following Wayne of him coming to terms with being pansexual and how he deals with it with friends coming out to the public and his family and that. Yeah, it was not where I was expecting this series to go. I only really know him from a few like cameos here and how I met your mother, so I'm not too familiar with him. But the documentary trailing definitely was like, "Okay, I'll give this a go see how we get on." And it looks like it might be a little bit different. There's even kind of a dig at the fact of it would be a lot easier if he was just a family that just did TikToks, which I don't know if there's a little bit of a knock at the Dominion family. But nevertheless, this one I think it's going to be probably one of the last big free form shows. I don't seem to be doing that much stuff there anymore. But yeah, it's interesting to see if that one comes out on Disney Plus internationally. We also got another new show that's going to be coming on the second season of reasonable doubt. So this one will be dropping on Hulu all at once in the US and also on Hulu on Disney Plus on August the 22nd. No words yet on when the second season is going to arrive on Disney Plus. I suspect it will do. But again, it's one of those weird things with the linear channel networks in the US. The international rollout always kind of feels like a something that they just do afterwards. They kind of seem to forget about. They're all just rushing out for the US audience and we just kind of have to wait. It could arrive on the same day. It might be a little bit later. Second season, again, she's just now dealing with a new case of owing her friend killing her husband. There's a new kind of person that's brought in. There's also a love interest. I kind of fell off the first season. I didn't finish it. Just wasn't really kind of clicking with me. So I probably won't watch this second season. But to be honest, actually, the second season, the trailer was like, well, that made me the introduction of this new lawyer. Actually, the trailer did a good job of going, well, maybe I should check this one out. But so many great shows right now. But it's that one there. Also being confirmed, we're going to be getting a Bill Burr new stand-up comedy that will be coming out at some point later this year. This is part of Hulu's new kind of comedy special stuff. They're going to be doing a lot of these going to be one a month starting in November. These will also be coming to Disney plus internationally. So we're really seeing now Disney kind of leaning in a little bit more on stand-up comedy, which makes a lot of sense. Different kind of content. If you want to be a general entertainment player, you need different content. And I think stand-up is a good way of doing it. Netflix has had a lot of success of it. Over here in the UK, lots of different channels have stand-up. And I think it just makes sense for them to lean in on this. And it just makes total sense. But yeah, lots and lots of traders and stuff today. Some great stuff coming up on that Disney plus and on Hulu in the coming months ahead. Let's now jump into our questions today. So a question here of the day from Brendan asked, "Do you think they'll possibly make a insight out free at all?" So this was brought up during the recent Q&A on Sunday that is. I definitely check them out for each and every week. But in terms of insight out free, definitely think it's going to be happening. The amount of money that the second movie has made it is now overtaking the incredible as it is now the most biggest success for Pixar ever. I mean, didn't think we would be saying that. You know, this is now over 1.2 billion. This is a juggernaut. This franchise isn't going anywhere. They are so going to be making it a third one. Probably be a few years away. But yeah, I've got no doubt there will be another insight out. But let us know. Are you excited about that? Would you like to see one? Love to hear your thoughts on this in the comments below.
