Coming up, we're going to be talking about Moana, also a brand new series and Disney's Octave Collective, and much more, but before we go any further, make sure you do hit that subscribe button to keep up with the latest Disney Plus News. Hi, everyone, that's Roger here from what's on at DisneyPlus.com, it's time for a quick Disney Plus News roundup. Let's start talking about a brand new series firm at a Disney's Octave Collective called How to Die Alone. This brand new series follows Mel, a broke fat black JFK airport employee who's never been in love and forgotten how to dream until an accident of brush with death catapults her on a journey to finally take flight, and start living by any means necessary. The series has been created and also stars Natasha Ruffwell, and it's going to be coming to Hulu in the United States on September the 13th, there's going to be four episodes released at once, and then there'll be a new episode released each week on Fridays. No international release details for this series have yet been announced. Split will start seeing trailers and stuff as we get closer to the release date. Hopefully we get confirmation on this pretty soon. It's created by ABC Signature Studio, so I would imagine it will be a star original, but let me know. You're excited about this series, I hadn't heard anything about it, but it looks like it could be a little bit of fun, but let me know what you think of this in the comments below. Shifting gears now, let's now talk about Marvel Avengers, because over the week I'm Disney has now added a brand new dubbed version of the film on Disney Plus around the world, which has now got the Lakota version. So this is a Native American language, and many of the major stars from the movie actually came back to do the dubbing on this one. Mark Ruffler has been heavily involved in the project, so yes, you can find now when you go into the Avengers and then click on to the different options for audio, you'll now find this version, so this is, again, should be a great thing for people, obviously, in the US that speak the language, and just having more options I think is always great, so let me know, you're going to be checking it out, let me know in the comments below. Shifting gears now, let's now talk about Marvel, because a couple of years ago they announced that they were making a new live action version, and it was going to see the Rock return as the demigod, Maui, well, the Rock has taken to social media over the weekend to confirm that production is going to begin on the film next month in August, and it's set to come out on July the 10th in 2026, kind of getting ready, all the sort of cast have been revealed and stuff, it definitely looks like it's going to be going full steam for this one, obviously they've got Moana 2 hitting cinemas, this coming Thanksgiving, because it's been such a huge hit with the first movie on Disney+, so it's not a huge surprise to see them doing this, I know that a lot of people that are kind of looking at the Moana live action movie and kind of thinking, do we really need this one right now, it seems very recent, do we need it, I'll be honest, I probably would have held off a little bit more, but there's also the other issue as well, like the Rock probably can only do this for so much longer until he wouldn't be able to take on the role, but yes, I'll look forward to it, Moana is one of my favourite films, and yeah, I'll be interested to see what they do with it, but yes, the production's starting pretty soon, but let me know, are you excited about Moana 2, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this in the comments below. And our question of the day, which comes from Trekipedia, who asks, do you think we'll ever see a life with Louis or Fox's Peter Pan and the Pirates added to Disney+ two of the best Fox kids shows were definitely underrated and now that Disney owns Fox, they should be able to eventually. So I get asked a lot about shows and stuff that could be added onto Disney+ and there's a lot of them out there, and I would love to be able to say to you, yeah, they'll add them in eventually, but I don't know anything, but the thing is here is, why would they want to add these shows, now I think they should be going back and adding new content each and every week, really kind of filling out that backlog as the thing that Disney has that Netflix and Amazon don't have in the same way, they've got 100+ history with two different studios, they should be making the most of this, instead of spending all this money on new content, kind of going back and restoring and getting this stuff up, but this is the key thing. Both of those shows aren't even available on, I couldn't find them on any of the digital platforms I could find and some of them on DVD to buy, but again, they've been nearly 20+ years since they were released on DVD, so they're going to have to be digitally scanned, they're going to have to then have subtitles and dubbing and anything like that needed to be organised on it, also any music licences, anything like that needs to be done as well, and their quick big question is, is how many people are actually going to watch these shows, you want to watch them, I'll be honest, I'd never heard of the Peter Pan series, and with the way that Disney protects Peter Pan and does its own things with them, do they want this show on there, I don't know, again, I think they probably should be going back and like have a project to try and getting as much content on there as possible, just fill out Disney+ with classic content, the thing is an area that they're just not using properly, but looking at how Disney's been over the last couple of years, it gives me no indication that they are going to do this, again, these shows are probably not popular enough to warrant the expense of bringing them back, and that's sometimes what people need to remember with this stuff is, how much is it going to cost to how much are they going to get watched, and are kids today going to be interested in these shows, I don't know, I don't think they would be, but yeah, going to look at that again, I would love them to have a kind of a programme to start looking at the catalogue and really starting to utilise it, fill in those back thing, they've got so much in the back catalogue that they could use, but I'm just not convinced that this is something that they would do, but I'd love to know, would you like to see these both of these shows added to Disney Plus, I'd love to hear your thoughts on this in the comments below, I'm going to go check us out over at what's on at DisneyPlus.com, like, follow, and subscribe, and I shall see you guys soon, like this.
