So they did a study, and the new study came out that almost two-thirds of people who use Tinder are actually in a relationship, and almost half of the users aren't even interested in finding a date. I believe it. Two-thirds? Yeah. You know, much that is. That's a high percentage. So does that mean all they want is sex? Or did they want to cheat? Or did they just want to, you go boost? They want, yeah, that's exactly, they want confidence, they want attention. I've met multiple men that have girlfriends or something on there, and then also, you have the ones that, it's weird, guys will ask you, are you single? And I'm like, yeah, obviously, that's why I'm on the map. So I'm like, are you asking that 'cause you're not single? 'Cause why would you ask me that? I'm just gonna assume we're all single here, 'cause that's the point. Or you also have people that are polyamorous, they're looking for a third person. It's called a "situation ship." That's the freaky deaky. Oh, really? That's a new, I like that. Yeah, it's like not having to commit. It's like an open relation. A situation ship's like you have sex and you don't be. Also, the situation ship is not if you're looking for a third. No, a situation ship? You're just looking for a situation with someone. Yeah, it's a casual, undefined, commitment-free relationship. You're basically hanging out and having sex, but you're not committed. Now, how is it that your girlfriend or significant other would not know that you're on Tinder? I mean, you could go on vacation, and start an account, you could hide it, so you could use it for like 10 minutes, get your little ego boost, and then you can hide it. And then, 'cause you can really go on ghost mode on it. Really, you can erase it? You can hide the communication on Tinder, you can erase it? No, you can literally hide yourself around when discovering you. Yeah, I had a person that I know that went on vacation from his wife and downloaded Tinder, got on there, hooked up with a girl. After it was over, he left and went home and didn't, you know, he kind of weird about it, didn't want to give the girl that he hooked up with his phone number. Yeah. And so when the girl obviously could tell that something was up, so she tracked him down on social media, found out he had a wife, contacted the wife, yeah, and said, "Hey," you know. And exposed him. Expose him, I just hooked up with your husband. What happened to the relationship? I think they're still together, I believe, but it wasn't, you know, it wasn't pretty. No. By the way, how do you get one vacation without your wife? Guy's trip. Oh, you just build it as a guy's trip? The guy's trip, yeah. Okay. Yeah. Seems, yeah, okay. You've never been on a guy's trip? You used to do guys get away. Yeah, but guys get a weekend. That's what it, that's what I'm talking about. Okay, so guys, it was a guy's weekend. Yeah, okay. He always needs to be with somebody. You're very needy. You're like, yeah. Yeah, you're needy. Well, a lot of these, a lot of these trips are golf trips, I have to say, oh, get away, guide trips. And that's where the tender opens up. You see them all the time. Wow. Yeah. I think it's, I'm not that shocked. I mean, I wish it was a little bit less. It seems like a really big number, but I mean, there's so many reasons people want to know entertainment. They go on it for attention. They just think it's, oh, can I get it? How many girls can I get to give me to think I'm hot to match with me? Like it's an ego boost. It's an, it's a need to be seen and to have someone say, I think you're hot. But what's the entertainment? You're adding up how many women, like imagine if you, and then all these women were swiping on you, be like, look at that, Lisa. Yeah, or I just said 150 women. Can I get her to send me, you know, a naked picture? Can I get her to meet up with me? Can I get, you know what I mean? It's just like guys are like using it as a competition sometimes. They go on a guy's trip, who can get more girls? First of all, Lisa, you think for one minute, if I were sneaking around on Tinder, I would share that with you. Yeah. No, I'm just saying. One of my only friends is like, you're going to say, what? No, but I think, but it's just an example of what a guy would do. Yeah, any guy, he would like, look at that. Look at how many people think I'm hot. Wow. It's an ego boost. Yeah. It's an ego boost. They don't do anything with it. That's what the study's saying, but they like use it as a way to like make themselves feel better. I don't know. If you need a self-esteem boost, Tinder's the way to go. It's an Instagramification. Yeah. You get a little swipe, right? Oh, we match. Okay, they think I'm pretty too. They think I'm hot. Well, something else I want to write down, it's a situation ship. Yeah. You love that word. The situation ship. But that's what's true in relationships. Wow. Because everyone gets in these situationships, and no one defines anything and no one commits. And then we all just have a bunch of situationships that are hard to get over if they feel like a real relationship, but they're not. And that's what's going on a lot with the younger people, right? Where they're just all hanging out in groups, and they all have situationships. Mm-hmm. Yeah, they're all putting their jobs, and they're all not getting in relationships. They're just kind of, you know, hooking up. They're just all going places as a group, and it's a situation ship. Yeah, I just feel bad for the other one-third that are on there trying to find love. Yeah. You know, trying to really meet somebody. Like Winnie. Yeah. It's hard out here. Yeah, good point. And, yeah, go ahead. Answer your question. I can ask this. Yeah. Okay, like anything I want to ask you a question. So, have you found your, do you specifically go on Tinder, specifically for sex? No. Okay. No. I don't need to go on Tinder outside. That's good to know. Well, she goes on there to meet, meet, meet, meet, other-- Yeah, it's a date. We got, it's a date. Yeah, but didn't Tinder start out as the app for strictly sex? Yeah, for hookups. Yeah. I mean, it definitely was one of the first apps, dating apps, sex, whatever you want to call it. But it's really what you make it. Like, if you, if you don't want to have sex, you don't want to have sex on Tinder. If you, if you feel the need or you feel the want to engage in any sex activity with someone from Tinder, there's no problem with that. Mm-hmm. I just think dating has changed in so many ways in the last 10 years, like that people adapt. And it's easier to hook up because, you know, it can be more incognito. You swipe on an app. You don't tell anybody, you meet up, you hook up, and then that's it. So, you're telling me that if I wake up some morning and I want to feel good about myself, I should be on Tinder? Yeah, it helps. But then again, it could backfire. It could make you feel bad. Nothing. Like, what if there's no interest at all? Yeah, it goes either way. No, they'll be interested. The funny thing is, Billy is you're already on Tinder, basically. I am. Because so many people use the picture of you with them. Try to get close and get girls to swipe on them. No, that's really true. I've really never seen it. Yeah. You mean people are on Tinder with their profile picture of me with them? Yeah, so they'll meet you in public and take a picture with you, and then they'll use that picture as their Tinder picture, because people see it in Boston. Oh, my God, it makes it really costly. It gives them instant credibility. Oh, my God. This is why I'm not finding love. I have no pictures of Billy on my Tinder. He's not on your Tinder? No! I'll take a picture, right? Oh, my God. I need to post our pictures. I'll take a picture. I'll post our headshots from the morning show photo. It's just credibility. Wait a minute. So do you think when people see the picture of the person with me, they think we're looking for a threesome? No! Oh, my God, I'm so confused.
