Thank you for listening. Oh, it's appreciated. Text line, be in touch with the show 251343 0106. You need to be contacting me, whatever it is. Your best bet of getting through is the FM talk. 106.5 Text line, once again, 251343 0106. Cut up on today's program, Jennifer Fiddler. So she's going to be out of town next week, so we just kind of doubled up this week. She'll be with us in about a half hour. Also, the program change stringer, that's in the 10 o'clock hour. And then our usual, what should we call it? Visit, maybe that's the right word, I don't know. When Dale Jackson and WV&N, Y'all Amber News, is in the 11 o'clock hour. In the meantime, 251343 0106, like I said, that's the text line. I'll start out here, we'll do Paris Olympics in the weird, I don't know what, the drag queen last supper, which was just, here we are, I just like thought the French would have been a little more clever than just your run of the mill, like shock value, New York City, social justice minded, artiste, but they weren't, and I guess it was kind of. Well, anyway, I'll speak of that in a minute, and thinking about this, though, so we're in the throes of the Kamala Harris honeymoon, which seems to be going on a lot longer than I would have expected. The media and the establishment of the Democratic party is betting the farm here, guys. No, no, I mean, like, I know how cringe it is. I get it. I know these people. I know that they feel like they're overstepping at times. Look, here's the deal, though. If they lose, if they lose, this is, this is not like, this is their second chance. Don't forget, and, and this is probably more chances than that. If you could sit there, they could have had like Bernie Sanders or whoever it is, the radical crazy AOC left wanted Peter, booted judge, but they didn't get that. They got Joe Biden in 2020. I mean, that was not a, I don't think that Joe Biden was ever really the would have been the voice, the person who Democrat voters really wanted if he, if he came down to it. They're okay with Biden, but truth be told, we would like to have somebody who really wants to change this country in a significant way. So this number, what, but so Biden said it, yeah, we haven't have a do over. We got to, we, we missed it this year and it's almost like I said this last week. They wanted Harris all along, but they couldn't get to the, they couldn't, they knew she couldn't win a Democrat primary. So this is the end around, get her there this way. Well, whatever it is, but man, what if, well, if Trump chances her and it's entirely possible that this is a landslide election, I don't think it will be, I think it'll be much closer, but what if one of the things get out of control here, what if something happens and all of a sudden the, it's a blowout for Trump. Consider that for a moment. I mean, if you're a Democrat in this country and he, I mean, like you really, you really trust your, your party elders and they lose, then what are you going to do? I mean, what do you think is going, what do you think the reaction is going to be? Why did we listen to these people? Let me try to do this with Trump a little bit, but initially the, the modern Republican party and modern Democratic party is the Republicans just haven't figured out how to rig their elections, not that they'd want to. I think the difference is you don't have a Trumpian figure in a Democratic party. They're too divided, but they're easily manipulated. They're all like four or five different ways. So anyway, I was just thinking about this. I mean, if they lose, are you, are you think, what do you think it's going to look like the day after the election? They're going to be upset. They're going to be talking revolution and all that nonsense just like they were last time with Trump were one, but like the, the people who put up with this, the people who tolerate what the Democrats are doing historically, are they going to be as receptive to listening to the same, the same establishment because it feels like this to me. Okay. We didn't really want Mitt Romney. Okay. We really want John McCain, okay, we really didn't want Bob Dole. We didn't really want any of those people, but we, we, we said, okay, we're going to listen to our leaders and then this is what we got and they lose. I think you have sort of a similar sort of backlash against the establishment in the Democratic party because right now, I mean, it's all in voter enthusiasm. Now, yeah, I'm not saying Harris can't generate enough enthusiasm to win, but if it's a loss, if it's a blowout loss, especially, I mean, this is a big bet for these guys. They're making a, they're taking a risk here. They're always been good at risk mitigation. They say Obama's a once in a lifetime candidate. John Kerry, I don't know, Hillary Clinton, and here's a question for you guys sitting here today, July 29, 2024, what was the better candidate for the Democrats? Now, we know Hillary lost, but who, who should have Republicans been more fearful of? Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris? I think Hillary was a much, much better candidate. She, she had the, she, I think just had a little more time, a little more experience. They were both U.S. senators, she's Secretary of State now, Kamala was Vice President, but Clinton was out and about it felt like more, kind of like more in your face, more at least doing something compiling her resume, having achievements, even though they were kind of dumb, like the reset button and whatever. So, anyway, think about that, where would you rather be if you're a Democrat? It's hardly inside the minds of a Democrat. Now, look, it's a different time in the Democratic party. They're much more, they're much more woke or whatever than they were when Hillary ran in '16 and when she ran in '08, when we have hideous displays of, along the American national television, it doesn't matter that it was in France. I mean they have nudity, different nudity laws in France, apparently they have them for the Olympics too, but it was NBC. This was the big, yeah, but it's a different time in the Democratic party, a different time in America, and I still would have said Hillary's better than Kamala, Hillary, 2016's better than Kamala Harris, 2024. I don't know how much longer this honeymoon goes on until a lot of people don't think it will. So, we'll see, Texas, I had 2, 5, 1, 3, 4, 3, 0, 1, 0, 6, what else we got here? So JD Vance, the pile on JD Vance is, well, they're trying to share a pale in JD Vance, I don't think it's going to work, I think they're insane to try this actually. Just seems like a bad idea, because he's too smart for that. Let's see attack that he does stuff with couches. The sexual degeneracy is on the left right now, trying to project that is not going to work. I mean, they're trying to turn him into totally superficial that he's not. He's a creep, he's weird, these are the talking points you're using. What is this? High school? I guess that's the average voter, the way they interpret the voter that they can make him out to be the weird kid that eats his boogers or something, it's not going to work. It's also interesting to me that they're taking their ammo off of Trump, and I don't know if that's because of the assassination attempt at the media, clearly trying to downplay right now, and taking on Vance, but Trump would still be the target. But they invent, they manufacture controversies, guys. Project 2025, so the machine, the machine doesn't work. We know it's at work. You see it at work. Is it possible to be a living, breathing American in 2024, and not know that some of this is just manufactured, Selena by the left, who's finally got something to run on. They finally got a candidate that's not terrible. Well, we'd say she's terrible by our standards, but at least she knows what zip code she's in. Well, probably not even that. At least she knows what planet she's on, and it is boring slate of vice presidential candidate that she has. It feels very Tim Kane-esque. That did wonders where the Hillary Clinton ticket did it, bringing on the boring white dude, whatever, the violence out the ticket. They keep showing these slate. We're supposed to be excited about that, and then just the Sunday shows are just insufferable yesterday. Chuck Schumer just making up things that Trump was going to drop J.D. Vance. It's so, it's so hairy reed. Do I remember hairy reed when they submit Romney didn't pay his taxes? That's what this seems to be. We're just playing another round of that, and then it'll all be forgotten or if somebody does bring it up. Who cares? We would. Or in this case, we lost. But that's the question. I mean, if you're right now, who's the better candidate on paper? Hillary Clinton circa 2016 against Trump. Turned out not to be a great candidate at all. Well, doesn't that kind of feel like we're being told with Emily Harris here right now? Let's get a break in here. We'll be right back. This is the Jeff Moore Show at FM Talk on 065. I'm somehow on and on I close, I keep on rolling with the flow. Folks said that I asked me how I voted to token him on Reddit that he just smiles. I'll never forget him. Daddy never was. But Cadillac had. He said something. Look back to the Jeff Moore Show at FM Talk on 065, they're sticking around on this Monday morning. 2513430106. Hit us up on that text line name text or what will your reaction be after the Trump beat down? Why do you why do you believe that will be a Trump beat down? What what evidence what like you're not making a case other than, uh, Republicans are dumb. I hate listen to talk radio, uh, Toscers, they installed by now Harris. They will give up power easy. They will give it up easy. But they're not infallible. Mine would never have made it as far as they had an a texture, Kamal is a hundred times better than Hillary, who's just a classic Republican. We can hear the fear in your voice. This is a honeymoon. Kamal is going to win. It's a total honeymoon. Why? If it's not a honeymoon, then why would she to get it in all along? Why weren't we talking to schoolingly about her six weeks ago? It's a total manufactured astral turf honeymoon. There there's no reason like all of a sudden, oh, it's like we just discovered this new thing called Kamala Harris and she's really awesome. This just dumb. Because you never had. You never had this kind of affinity for Kamala Harris. Not even when she ran in 2020, if she were so great, well, what changed? So here's, we're on the verge of jumping to shark guys. They don't know what you're doing here because they just think that they can get out of the front of New York, New York magazine, sitting on top of a coconut. These people, when they get a good hand, I don't think they have a good hand necessarily now. When they get a good hand, they overplay it. They sure are overplaying it right now. I don't think they can do this for the next 99 days. There will be Kamala fatigue if they try to sort of next 99 days. And then there is a, there's another fight on the text line that I am not a party to. 2513430 would, 06 is how you get in touch with the program. If you so choose, I'll see what else. We got to go in here. Katie Brick got in a dust, well, she didn't really get in a dust up, but she, she was very outspoken about the display at the Paris Olympics or Friday night. The opening ceremonies, it was just weird. I go tell you, this is why we had to bail out the French in two world wars. Those of silliness like this, it's, it's like there's Paris and then there's the rest of France. They showed the map was a Marine Le Pen and then to like one in the entire country except for like Paris and Paris is just dark blue. So I think this is like a, a phenomenon around the country right now, around the world. You just have the urban, in the West at least urban, liberal and then like traditional value types, you live in the rural areas. And people don't like to see that kind of stuff. There's some people who will celebrate that, but you know, but I think most people look at that as, what's about weird, like trying to make J.D. Vance to be weird. This is very strange, two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six, coming up here shortly. State Representative for Fiddler. Stay tuned for that. We appreciate you listening. This is the Jeff Pore Show with a flip talk, one, zero, six, five. Excuse me, man, but where's the door? I'm Carolina, down to Georgia, smell the Tasman and Magnolia, sleep is sweet home, Alabama, roll tight, roll, muddy waters, Mississippi, blessed, graced land whispers to me. Look back to the Jeff Pore Show with us to talk, one, zero, six, five. They just stick it with us on this, on this Monday morning, look, it's a text line, two, five, one, three, four, three, zero, one, zero, six, celebrating. How are you celebrating the Kamala Harris honeymoon? Let me know. That's sad. Who's better? Hillary or Kamala Harris, Hillary, 2016 or Kamala Harris, 2024, because I, I, I found Hillary to be way more formidable as an opponent. I would have thought 16 that I do this vice president, but I'll see where this goes. It just feels a little like the feeling, these guys are starting to feel way overconfident to me, and Democrats tend to jump to sharks sometimes. You just wait, they can't do this for 99 days, but joining us now on, well, here in the Fair Hope Bureau, always a pleasure, getting there in a week early here, just to juggle with some vacation time and sometimes away, a state representative, Jennifer Fiddler, representative, good morning. How are you? I'm doing great. How are you doing, Jeff? Doing well, doing well. Thanks for coming by. We appreciate it. So since we last talked, any new developments in your world, just a busy week last week, we did a, I was at a couple of different Republican events, South fallen Republican women met last week. The point clear Republican women actually put on a fish fry Saturday night. Oh, Ocalo is Ocalo raised thousands of dollars for the veterans court. We had probably 20 elected officials that handed out food, gave out food, and was dishing out the food for all the people that came to the Ocalo event and raised a lot of money. That's good to hear. I've been meaning to get to one of their meanings. I just always forget the point clear. I mean, there's so many groups, right? Well, we're now there for because North ball and Republican women have now branched off and started their group. They're in their infancy stages, but all these Republican women groups are very strong. Lots of times the South ball and Republican women and the point clear Republican women meet on the same day, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. And then we've got Eastern Shore that meets on a Thursday, and then they've started a night meeting. Yeah, they had the sheriff the other night, I saw they got the speaker coming next week from Thursday. I'll be out of town, but speaker Ludbutter. So if anybody can go to that, speaker Ludbutter is our speaker of the house, and he is going to be speaking at Eastern Shore, Republican women. We have a big conference here at the Grand Hotel. Our lawmakers will be coming down to BCA BCA, but they get excited about that. Business business counts of Alabama. There's a lot of lawmakers that'll be there, a lot of the business, large business lives of those lawmakers, man, I'm telling you, whatever, I'm in some gathering. Oh, yeah, I love it. Oh, yeah. I loved it. The grand the BCA and we love everyone coming down and shopping and supporting some economic development, our downtown Fair Hope, and I know lots of folks go over to Magnolia Springs to Jesse's and enjoy Jesse's restaurant when they're down here. So we appreciate all that. Jesse's, Jesse's is hard to beat it, representative. It is. It's upscale, fine dining over there, not to to upscale because you can still get a hamburger for 15 bucks, I think, but, but it's, yeah, it's, I got to eat there last week. We had the commissioner of Alabama Department of Economic Development down. Commissioner Boswell was down and we were able to eat at Jesse's just last week. Magnolia Springs is doing some new things and asking for advice. And so we were down hosting him and I was able to see him last week. That's good to hear. Well, let's kick it off here and we were talking sort of during the break. This has been a theme for a while now, maybe even years, the, the overwhelming, the overwhelmed Baldwood County corridor and what happens in Baldwood County guys is it's, it's obviously a tourist destination one or a destination snowbirds or a temporary destination to hole up for the winter to the weather gets back to, I mean, to summer and then they head back north or whatever. But you have a kind of a transient population, at least to some degree. And when the end of life comes, unfortunately, it does happen. You have a coroner here who is just grossly overwhelmed, it seems, and not prepared for this sort of population. We have so many folks coming down from other areas vacationing in our areas and really does burden a lot of different departments. The coroner is one of them and we should pride ourselves in making sure that we know causes of death and they are thoroughly investigated. And right now we're, we're at a point that we are being overwhelmed, the capacity of what we have currently needs to be upgraded. And thankfully we have a coroner who has a vision that, that seems to be something that would be able to work in a regional manner, developing a building that has forensic capabilities more so than we have now, actually working with community colleges and the college system that, that in mobile and regionally. So he has really a plan to get on top of this surge in deaths, about 15% of the cases that he looks at are not from here, they're not from Baldwin County. And I think along with any tourist destination that's here in the, in the, in the, in the state of Alabama, if we're, have so that much of an influx, we should be somehow helping some of these agencies. I mean, district attorney's office, sheriff's office, this is the coroner's office. But those, this is, the funds are needed to really got to get him up to where he needs to be to really do the service of coroner and making sure these investigations of death are done in a thorough manner and timely manner and be able to get back to the loved ones of the people who died. And how much of it is just the growth of this county? Well, I mean, of course that's a, that's a huge factor too. And I do have those stats right here. Let's see. And I mean, it's just, and I'm not being out, I've got a couple of pieces of paper here. So there were 2,337 souls who were lost last fiscal year. There's 260,000 residents in Baldwin County and about 6 million people come in as tourists. So the population increase, well 260, you know, we see that in the census, how much it's increased. But yeah, a lot of that is population. And FY 22 and 23, 625 of the 2,337 deaths that were lost. The coroner took care of 27% of all those deaths. And so that rose from in 2018, it was 24% of the deaths, but 479 out of 2,067 deaths. So if you could keep up with those numbers. But quite a bit, just on population. And then the tourism on top of it, 15% of all deaths is our tourists, our people coming here from out of state and Baldwin County has been taxed with making sure those deaths are processed correctly. So the fix is it's a funding fix or well, we're hoping we'd like he has asked. And I just think we're fortunate to have a coroner right now that has the passion and the vision to be able to really consider doing something regionally. If we could partner with mobile partner with Washington counties, can be counties and some of our lower counties here that do not have the availability to be able to put a building in place that we can work with, you know, some of our neighboring counties. And then we have a college system here that we could actually, could be an educational thing, you know, in North Alabama, Jack State does an absolute fabulous job there in North Alabama, you're probably familiar with the criminal investigation units up there and how they work with Jack State and the forensic science they have there, the police academy, the state police academy that all our police officers go to and be able to go through training. And right there in those buildings, they have state of the art forensic got I got to visit some of that last year. I'm so impressed with the what they've got going on and how they do their crime scene investigations and how they actually track down criminals in their area. And you know, the north, southern part of the state, we're at that point where we really need to up that. I know the county commission is interested in really seeing this building to fruition. I feel like they are of her good reports that they are, but they probably need some help with funding. Well, I mean, are you thinking like that you need a, like the education, like the teaching, like something that's south Alabama or coastal or wherever or is it just, hey, we just got to get this guy some fun so he can upgrade his facilities and have more space and maybe more staff or what do you, what do you think there? Well, if there's a tie into education, I believe that it's justified and even, you know, an appropriation of the Ways and Means General Fund if the chairman and the, you know, the committee so fits in the and the legislature so fit, you know, so Jesus, it's definitely a need for the area and for, you know, for the service to the Alabamaans who come here and for our visitors alike. So I'm not a state representative for Fiddler here and the Fair Hope Bureau, I'll see what else here we got. I know we spent a lot of time on this last week talking about ag in this state. Well, what does it look like? And I tell me a Parker Griffith on, it gives us kind of a North Alabama report. What are you hearing from your farmers because the weather has been kind of weird, I don't know. And is it what's really struggling, what's really coming in this year? Well, the, we've had this not like last year, you know, we had the terrible droughts last year and family thought small farmers and were really hurt if they didn't have irrigation. This year, you know, we're not having that issue depending on what your souls are. So last week, we talked a little bit about prime agricultural farmlands and a lot of our soils about four foot deep, three and a half foot deep, you get into a really hard pan where if we get about 40 inches of rainfall that that rainfall doesn't have time to seat through that hard pan, and you will have, and this is why a lot of septic tanks wouldn't, you know, wouldn't work or haven't worked in the past decades because there's this hard pan. And when we get those 50 inches of rainfall, which were not uncommon to get in this area, the water just sits, you know, between the hard pan and that 36, 38, 40 inches of soil surface there. And if we have too much rainfall and if you, those farmers have that type of soil that they're trying to farm, their crops are going to rot, you know, they're, they're just not going to do, but you can run cattle on it. So when I say prime agricultural farmland, I'm talking about the farmland that actually drains and that we can turn over a crop that any kind of crop, even though it rains 50 or 60 inches here, if that makes sense. Well, the mosquitoes are so bad because a hard pan is just a standing water. I got it really bad this year. I just, okay, Jeff, you know, I was the public works director and I was over all the mosquito spray in at the city of Fairhope at one time. So any standing water, mosquitoes will breed in anything like half an inch to six inches of cup, like 80 magnolia leaves. If you have water just sitting anywhere in an old tire or container within a hundred foot of your yard. Well, the first, all my neighbors are fruit and nut here are having the same complaint that we have. Like it just, they just seem to be a lot worse than they've had been the last couple of years. There, well, it was a drought last year. So that was one reason why. But the, any type of standing water, magnolia leaves, leaves, debris, containers, saucers out there that you, because we had some rainwater, you may have a half inch or, you know, a quarter inch of rainfall, you know, just within a hundred feet of your back door, just kind of case that and look. And then if you've got standing water, you can't get rid of the larva side tablets is how you take care of the eggs. And then the city is supposed to be spraying. And whenever I was in charge, we did cedar oil, which was that it encouraged the lightning bugs, but it didn't, it took care of the mosquitoes as well. I don't know that we're getting that same kind of treatment this year, but I, I just started to, to digress on you there. A real quick before we get a break here, are you keeping up with this police bill and to what your colleague reading room and wants to do with the takeover? I've, no, I have not. So I can't. And I've been interested in reading some more about it because I did. We did talk about it last year in session or this past couple of months ago in session. I do believe that there's a need, uh, you know, we've got to figure out how to address it. I do agree that there's a issue that needs to be, we need to look at it. I have not read his bill, um, and hadn't talked to him in the last month or so, but like I said, about three or four months ago, we were all sitting around and talking and know that there is something that has to be needs to be done. Uh, well, anyway, we'll just get a quick break in here. We'll pick it up on the other side because I want to finish this discussion against state representative Jennifer Fiddler here with us in studio. Stay tuned. This is the Jeff or show one at the talk, one of six, five people said it was useless. I saw the light, I saw the light, no more darkness, no more night. Now I'm so happy, no sorrow inside. Look back to the jump more show. If I talk about it was six, five days or stay with us on this Monday morning still with us. Stay representative Jennifer Fiddler sitting in for just a few more minutes. So we were talking about the police bill or what reading or would have, which essentially guys to catch you up, um, failing police departments, not so much mobile. Steve Prichard would fall into this category Selma Bessemer, but Montgomery and Birmingham seem to be the ones that are getting the lion's share, the media attention. If you have a failing situation where public safety is in peril where you have a high violent crime or murder rate or something in the, the police department, the local police department just can't hire enough police. Well, representative Ingram's bill would have the state come in and take over that department with a, they would appoint a police chief who would try to get things in order. I don't know. It's sort of like the accountability act with education and when failing school systems, the state comes in. But what's interesting to me representative was waddling a van, uh, not exactly a tea party. John Birch, society conservative, like came out and supported this that the, I think these lawmakers are hearing from constituents in these cities and they want the state to kind of take the lead here because some of the municipal governments can't get it done. Well, I mean, and the, the conversations that we had several months ago were we've got an issue in this state and we don't need to let it get out of hand. And once a city municipality county reaches a certain percentage of, you know, should that be a trigger to do something? Should we get in there and have this? And, um, just assuming that that is, you know, see the, some of the stuff that, you know, we, those conversations, and now we've got this bill and representative Givian. I did get to read her, or the article in 1819 news and she knows she has an issue there. I mean, there's an issue and it's undeniable and it affects the safety of her citizens. And we all should be concerned, you know, anywhere in Alabama where we have the safety of our citizens that are in jeopardy. I don't mean to make this self serving, but Montgomery, where, where state government has to operate. It has to operate safely and what would they, I mean, like when I saw the bullet holes in that building with the green rooftop, one of those RSA office buildings, and do you think, well, that's, that's really close to the state house. I mean, does it spend a lot of time there and does it, does it feel unsafe to you or? Well, we know that we've had representatives just a few years ago that were mugged on the in downtown. Um, and nobody really wants to talk about it, but when it happens to your senators that are actually just walking downtown and thankfully there were these, you know, farm boys, so to speak that, you know, they didn't get the muckers didn't get the best of them. But if it happens to us, any of us that are up there, it's happening to everybody. You read it on Facebook, you read it in the news. These people that are just in regular, ordinary areas, neighborhoods that should be safe that are, you know, that are getting shot. It's not. Yeah, we got it. I mean, that's, that's not right. I mean, it's kind of forced the state to do something inevitably. I feel like we should. Um, you know, we've got a lot of people moving to our area and why, you know, look at the reasons why they've left. When I talk to people that have moved here for mobile, it's crime. Presented if they should come in, we'll do it again in a few weeks, but we'll talk to you soon. Thank you, Jeff. All right. This is FHIP Talk, 106-5. From Bucks Pocket to the shores of Orange Beach, at all points in between, an insider's perspective on Alabama politics. It's the Jeff Porsche show. I don't think Hank done it this way. No. We'll go back to the Jeff Porsche show that I'm talking with, oh, 6-5. Thank you for staying with us on, on this Monday morning to 5-1. And 3-4-3-0-1-0-6. That's how you get in touch with the show. If you so choose coming up on the program today still to come Shane Stringer, the state representative of North Mobile County, he'll be with us. So please make sure you tune in for that. Also on the show today, Dale Jackson, WVN, Yell Amber News, live local Dale Jackson. That's coming up in the 11 o'clock hour. So by all means, please stick around. The 2-5-1-3-4-3-0-1-0-6 few things kind of hitting on the day. As Hillary Clinton are, Kamala Harris. Her Hillary Clinton 16 or Kamala Harris 24. Now, and think of it like this. What are you more scared of? What are you more afraid of? Especially at the ballot box. Maybe not as president because I think Harris is just, she is just a puppet of whatever the so-called deep state is. But that being said, like who's more of a threat at the ballot box and I guess it always thought to me the Clinton's, the Clinton's machine, the Clinton's do what to do. They had a bigger network. But as it turns out, some of you are saying you're much more scared of Kamala Harris. I'll see here, Paris also thinks it's 1750 and they are a world power. And Napoleon's not walking through that door, is he? Ah, fire dog. JD Vance is weird. He grew up in front. He grew up in upper middle class. No, he didn't. So upper middle class home, he took golf lessons as a kid. No, JD Vance, maybe he grew up in a home where a mom who is a nurse, but she had like a flavor of the week, apparently, I just, this is, this is your, your manufacturing fiction right here, a name texture with the 251376 number or actually this is 251239 number. Anyway, the green Texas morning have become, I, I, is there like a concerted, somebody put the Jeff Pore show on your liberal message board this morning because there's a bunch of you on named textures, identify yourself. Does it have been in the opening of the Olympic Games or full satanic blasphemy against Christian's cow will not be mocked. So I said Friday night, we deserve whatever we get after seeing that. I just disappointed. I don't know. I just, it's supposed to be a time when the world comes together and you got the North Koreans and the Malaysians and you got over here, you got the Canadians and then you got the Guatemalans and you got the Sherlockins or whatever. I mean, you have all these countries and everybody's supposed to speak unifying moment and they go culture wars on you. They couldn't just like save that for some, some other time. They had to go drag queen and last supper and now they're trying to do this course correction thing. I'm buying it. I think some of these American companies need to pay a price for it. The spots of the Olympics that enable this. Ephraim doesn't have meta. Are they textures? Oh, I guess Dan is still fighting on the text line. Let's see. Paul. Might as staying so you can pardon Hunter. Oh, we go back here. The short narration campaign could have been by design. I think it's entirely possible. I don't think it was by design because it gives Harris some kind of strategic advantage against Trump. Probably what happened, probably. This is the Jeff Moore sort of rationalization of the moment. Why did we get to where we are on the Democrat side of the ticket? I think they were willing to give Biden a shot. I think they said, well, we got a backup plan here. I know how to do fine. He was OK in the state of the union address. They'll just dose him up with whatever they'll just dose him up with whatever medication that he needs to make him OK for the next two hours during the debate. OK, and it grossly overestimated his ability to look, just get through the bar with solo. They thought he could survive this debate. But if he does it, if he does it, survive it, then we have a backup plan. And we'll just force--we'll just force Biden out. We'll threaten him with the 25th Amendment or whatever we got to do. And we'll take a shot with Kamala Harris. And at some point, they pulled the rip court and they said, no, this is not good. But also, they had to know in the back of their mind that once they got settled on somebody that we would have this all hands on deck, Kamala Harris is the greatest thing to ever walk the earth. Do we just discover this new thing? It's called Kamala. James, the official troll of the Jeff Porsche. Jeff, of course, about voting for Kamala are Trump, however, with that being said. I don't think this is going to be a close race for the president. The Republicans keep the racists undertones going, and we'll sink them. But see, like, James, the problem is everything Republicans do, just by virtue of being Republicans, you guys call them racist. You just--everything is racist, there's--and you guys are the guys on the left that have something to gain. They're not--they're not fair arbiters. They're going to call everything racist because they're the refs, they have all the flags. They're going to be the ones to call everything racist. So I'm not--I think it could be close. I think it could be a blow. And I don't think it'll be a blowout for Democrats, then they got started too late. They're still losing it in Arizona, Pennsylvania. I mean, here's the difference. Democrats, the last two cycles, have had a lead in the popular vote at this point. At best, right now, they're tied in a lot of polls they are behind. If it's even close to the electoral--I mean, in the popular vote, it's an electoral college blowout. I mean, they got to squeak by some of these swing states like they have in the past. But there may not be the votes there, especially this time around, where full-as-what's shame on you, full-as-twice, shame on us, and they're not going to be full-twice by the COVID protocol of voting with the mail-in voting and the extended absentee balloting. And also, like, whatever you think, I mean, people are--they're going to be watching them like a hawk. And they text her, "What does the mosquito spraying do to our bees? I don't care." Tuscers, "Who's more of a threat to my bank account?" They installed Biden now here, so they won't give up power easily. "Who's more of a threat to your bank account?" We'll tell y'all a secret, and might not believe me. The pencil--if your bank account is just a bank account, you're worried about inflation. Probably the Democrats, but when Democrats get elected, certain stocks perform better. I mean, certain tax stocks, some of these environmental stocks. Heck, watch the fence contractors. Like, I'm not trying to give you all financial advice, but the dirty little secret is, certain sectors of the economy do perform better because you have a big government-democratic office who spends a lot of money. Well, that money is going to these--going to benefit certain parts of the economy. At least it's going to benefit in a way, so make that share price go up. It's a hedge against inflation. I'm not an expert by any stretch, but you can't put money in places. There is an avenue to protect yourself, to shield yourself. Nothing is understep foolproof, but there are areas of the economy where we're big government go hand-in-hand, I mean, we have a very corporate-esque climate in America right now, tuskers. How much of the $550 million would we have at the Eastern Shore MPO had stood up against the pushback against Governor Ivey and John Cooper's I-10 bridge plan a couple of years ago? The answer is zero. It's true, the Governor Ivey and John Cooper, it's almost like they don't. They did never want to spend a lot of money on I-10. There is this old school view of Alabama, and yes, it's cool to have a coastline with a beach and a port, and it's a little mobile, it's just a little different than the rest of the state, but that I-10 bridge is going to be used by those folks from Texas and Louisiana. Why would we test the Alabama taxpayer with having to pay for a new bridge across the Mobile Bay? That's the prevailing sentiment. It's always been that way on public works projects for the last hundred years. You have two old-school, Ivey has been in state government, she's been in Montgomery forever. The Birmingham power structure that runs the state just looks at Mobile, I mean, it's overly useless cliché as a redhead stepchild, a very expensive one, every part of the state feels like they are the redheaded stepchild, you go to the shoals, you go to the wiregrass in particular, they really feel like that of the mix a lot. If you want a coastline, if you want a coastal economy, all that comes with the tourism, the commerce, all of the different businesses associated with having a coastline in your state, guess what, you've got to spend some money and invest in it, and a lot of state policymakers don't get it because the coastal counties, there's only two of them, where is it a lot of states, what Alabama has the shortest coastline of any state in the country, where in other states you have a coastline and they can kind of band together, there's a lot of population here, but it's always been that way, and I joke when I say this, but I'm serious, I mean, I've lived in every corner of Alabama for some time in my life, well exception, well, they're related to the wiregrass, but the rest of the state, yes, and mobile is just viewed as something different, Martin, did I say you didn't care what spraying does to the bees, are you that too, but I really don't care what it does to the bees, honestly, checking, do I care that mosquito spraying can harm bees, nope, I don't care, that's what you heard, Martin. Maybe I should, but I don't. 25, what, 3, 4, 3, 0, 1, 0, 6, let's get a break in here, this is the Jet Force Show at FM Talk, 106, 5, affordable dentures and implants, practices in the mobile and Pensacola area make new smiles affordable every day, so you don't need to wait another day to get your smile back, visit us in mobile or Pensacola, call 1-800-DENTURE, affordable dentures and implants, go ahead and smile. So the comm, Shane Stringer, come up in the next segment, so stay tuned for that. And then in the 11 o'clock hour, Dale Jackson, WVNN, and Yell Hammer News will be with us, something else I want to talk about in this presidential election. There's no question about it, Kamala Harris had a good week last week, she had a good week, it's a good rollout, it's better than I expected. But I, you ever watch like sports and how teams can have like a very good start to the season, or even if it's like say mid-season, and all of a sudden they start rolling off like a 10-game winning streak or something in baseball or whatever. And the team's just really jealid, say late July, August. It is hard to maintain that momentum from that point all the way to the World Series. I've seen this Auburn basketball where the team sort of comes together, but then they have a big letdown, injuries or whatever it may be later on. University Georgia football goes undefeated, they didn't play their best ball against Alabama in the SEC Championship game, they were left out of the playoffs, even though it got undefeated up until that point. So the point is like, is this Kamala Harris peeking too early? We haven't seen a lot out of Trump this week. He did a rally in Minnesota, I thought Vance was just spot on. I mean the media is being so dishonest, but if you just, if you do your own critical analysis guys, turn off the media just for a few days and watch, watch Vance respond to the media and into Harris. I mean you'll be like, yeah this guy is on a different plateau. They're trying to Sarah Palin him but it's not going to work. They still got to nominate their nominee to the general election the Democrats do. We don't know what's going to happen in Chicago next month. I mean seriously guys, do you not think there's going to be any turmoil on the Democrats side? Is this amazing to me that all of you seminar Democrats out there are just okay with the, hey we're going to pick your nominee for you approach. What was the last time you had like a real honest to goodness competitive primary on the Democrats side? It had to be Hillary versus Obama in '08. John Edwards, but he told us Obama he was the nominee because he was the incumbent. 16 it just, it felt stage for Hillary Clinton. Weird times with all of the debates. Debbie Wasserman Schultz clearly clearly and when those emails were leaked, WikiLeaks showed that she was putting her thumb on the scale for Hillary. As soon as I came out, they made her resign the first day of the DNC in 2016. 2020 Biden, what did he do to make you think that he was, he lost the first two primaries and we ever had a major party nominee lose the first two primaries as bad as Biden had and then all of a sudden South Carolina rolls around and he's the nominee. Did you get Democrats get tired of the elites picking your nominee for you? Don't you get tired of that? But maybe, maybe you liked me and told what to do and that's why your big government liberals, I don't know. But this is what happened this time here with Harris. We'll be right back. This is if you talk, but it was 6-5. We'll go back to the Jeff Porchola. If you talk about those 6-5, they just stick it around on this Monday morning, 2-5-1, 3-4-3-0-1-0-6. I guess I have upset the B, the B lobby or the B, whatever they are with my lack of caring about Bs versus mosquitoes. But if you want to somehow join the fray here, 2-5-1-3-4-3-0-1-0-6 is the tax lie. Joining us now on the line, we hear from him every other Monday. We'll move some stuff around, but I'm always appreciative of a state representative Shane Stringer coming on and making time for us. Representative, good morning, how are you? Hey, doing great. Thanks for having me again. Hey, thanks for making time for us. We'll start here, Representative. This really got kicked off last week a little bit more. Colleague Wanda-Lingavand kind of surprised a lot of people when she said she liked this read-a-ingworm proposal to do some kind of a straight-up state takeover, but it's where the state would come in and appoint a police chief and get some of these Bull eager police departments back in order. I think Birmingham and Montgomery are the two biggies. Probably, I don't think though, in Selma, Prichard, Bessimer, there's some other places where the police protection leaves a lot to be desired. You said you're kind of open to the idea. I think we last talked about it, but the reaction to it's been sort of mixed. Now that you've had a few weeks to hear or think about it, what do you make of it? Well, like I've told you before, one of the things I'm seeing is you've got mayors across the state, not just around here and other states, that are making appointments to their top positions, whether it be the police chief, fire chief, chief of staff, different positions. They're making those positions based on friendships, and instead of putting the right people in those places that can run the departments and run them effective and efficiently, instead they're being put in there because of their affiliations or something. I think that's problematic. I think the more you see that, the more likely you're going to have to do something like Reed's looking at in trying to come in there and maybe take over a foreign chief and an administration to help that chief accomplish the goals. I don't think the state's in the business of wanting to run the police departments across the state, but I also think that the citizens in those areas deserve adequate protection and taking care of them. I essentially, the governor is really on board or kind of interested in this proposal, but what it tells me is just people aren't finding the answers, they are seeking the desire from municipal government. Now, or was on my friend Del Jackson, she's just like, "Well, look, you don't like the way the city's handling your police protection did elected to mayor, you just reelected a year ago." Stephen Reed. But such as it is, I mean, how much of it do you think is just, "Hey, elections have consequences?" And I agree with that. You know, that's one of the things I've said all along is that, you know, if the people would hold the elected officials accountable for the people they hire and the actions that are taking place, then you would see some differences being done. You know, like I've told you before, there's got to be consequences to some of these actions. I mean, we have got to hire the right people, and if the current mayor of our city is not able to accomplish those goals, then it might be time for the citizens to replace them. I don't think it's all the responsibility of the state, you know, to have to come in and clean up and fix their problems. You know, you've got departments we've seen year after year after year, no matter what administration, they just seem to struggle and have problems. So I think, you know, we've got to come up with some solutions, but also think that we need to force the hand of the cities to do their job and to do what's right before we take that step. Well, and I want to talk about Montgomery, and I hear some of your colleagues, but representative, I mean, like you and I are talking off air, even in the, so you've been going there since 2019 on a regular basis. I mean, the city seems to be into the decline. Ever since the read administration took over, but look to people the government could vote in and they could do whatever they want, but state government still got a function. We saw the RSA buildings up there with the bullet holes in the windows. And I mean, if it doesn't feel safe, if you can't function state government, then maybe there is justification for something. Yeah, you know, and I stay two blocks from the state house, you know, in Airbnb, and it's not uncommon for me to be getting out of my car walking in or walking out or, you know, something like that to hear gunshots really close to the state house and into where I'm staying. So that's not uncommon. You know, I don't know, you know, if the citizens need to consider maybe a recall vote or something on some of the mayors, if they're not able to do that, because the number one primary function of local government and in any government is the safety of its citizens. And if they're not meeting that goal, then they've got their balance off and how they're handling things. And they really need to look at it. Among governments, just they've got some problems. And I'm not sure, you know, I'm not involved in it to be able to say exactly what it is, but they've got problems. But I mean, if you guys don't feel safe, I mean, sort of, Washington DC for a time and then Washington DC is kind of heading back in that direction. But if if you have lawmakers getting mugged, the state senators getting robbed on the streets there, that's going to I would think even if not even based on like looking at this from a, you know, is this is this a good use of government standpoint? I mean, there's there's going to be an emotional response to that. Yeah, you know, my thing is whether it be a legislator or a citizen ain't no different man, we don't deserve any more protection than anybody else, you know, and I've been a law enforcement my whole life. And, you know, I stand up for the people and I put myself in danger for people. So I would much rather that citizens be safe before me, but still, we all deserve safety and security. And that's the primary function of our government and whether it be on a local state or a federal level. And, you know, it's kind of like, I guess, kicking the problem down the road or passing the buck along to the state government is not exactly the first auction or best auction. I think that we should hold the locals accountable and, you know, as long as they're doing within their means that there are cities that struggle financially and, you know, in those scenarios, they may want to look at dissolving it more than they can handle, but there's got to be options out there other than just, you know, putting the burden on the state or, you know, on a legal. Or what about these county sheriffs? And, you know, I mean, they, they're, they got a different, it's sort of a different sort of scenario. You elect them directly, they're not accountable necessarily to like a mayor or whatever, but they seem to be at least having to handle some of this burden around the state. Yeah, they really are, you know, and that's luckily our state has got a lot of good sheriffs that's willing to step in and help out other agencies that are struggling or having something. But, you know, it ain't their burden either. You know, I think the, we've got to come up with a way to hold even the sheriff's departments that are not able to do their job. We've got to come up with a way to tackle that and address that. I mean, the citizens of every county, every city throughout the state deserve, you know, protecting and the service that we offer. Well, in kind of talking about that, the sheriffs, as you probably will remember, the, the constitutional carry bill, they were against it. But are you surprised to see the way some of these people, particularly the left, some of the mayors, but also some of the so-called talking heads blame your bill for this? I'm not surprised at all. You know, you know, people always trying to push the burden off or blame off on somebody else other than taking responsibility and ownership and meeting that. I mean, we've, we've shown right there in Mobile, Alabama, where your since constitution carries past the crime, it's been the lowest it's been since 19, I think they said 84 or 94. But I mean, the lowest it's been in 33 years. So that tells you right there that the law Biden gun owners are absolutely not the problem. You know, we've got to, we've got to address the criminal element and the thugs that are running our communities. I mean, I, as a law enforcement, also try to arrest them and make it hard on them as much as they do our good citizens. I'm not going to sit back and let them take advantage of our citizens or our communities to to increase their crime and their, their profits. Joined by state representative Shane Stringer here on the program. Something else, some pre-filed bills, but one by all your colleagues, we have Democrat colleagues and, and, and assault weapon permitting. And, and then they kind of defines a, let's see, representative Hassel Montgomery says he wants to require a permit as a assault weapon, which he says is an automatic rifle with the capacity to accept the tactical magazine to possess at least one of six attributes among them being a folding stocker or second hand grip. And I guess there are a bunch of scenarios here. I mean, I don't, I don't foresee this seeing the light of day, but you see, you see proposals like this. What do you think? Now, I'll fight it tooth and nail. I'll fight it with everything I've got until they, unless they change the constitution, I'm going with the constitution and the constitution don't say nothing about having to get a permit or rest of your, your gun, regardless to whether it's a pistol or whether it's a assault weapon or, or a hunt rifle. I'm not gonna, I'll do everything I can to stop that kind of legislation. I don't agree with it. And I, you know, we see it coming from just about every Democrat and every facet. I mean, it's just, to me, it's somewhere, somehow they have forgot or either have not read the constitution. Well, and it's this too, right? It's, um, such as Democrats, it's Republicans, but, you know, I guess these guys are just looking for solutions or looking for something. And then, you never hear this representative. You never hear these guys talk about, why don't we just repeal the second amendment, make gun ownership a privilege in this country and not a right because until you can maneuver the second amendment and whatever these fixes are, don't really guide with the second amendment. I mean, that's, that's the issue. They never go anywhere. Absolutely. That's the problem is the legislators and that have enough sense to listen to their constituents and follow the constitution are going to do what's right. The ones that, that want to do, you know, try to find shortcuts to solutions are going to, to try to circumvent the constitution and do that kind of stuff. But the fact of the matter is, elected officials need to start listening to their constituents. We, we are elected by them to represent them in our offices, whether it's in Montgomery or DC or wherever. And I personally just don't think that there's enough that's listening to their constituents. You know, the elected sheriff, whenever we went through the constitutional carry, I reminded a bunch of them. I'm like, you need to go back and listen to your constituents because we were polling 70 plus percent every single time we polled the, the constitution carry legislation. And even, I even had some of the sheriff that said, well, but they don't know what's best for them. And I'm like, well, that's a typical big government answer. You know, regardless, we have got to listen to our constituents and what they got. Well, are you surprised to see this? It's just this is, and there's, it's this these laws that you guys pass the legislature by to the entire state. But we're just seeing these pockets of places where they're having a real struggle right now with law enforcement. And you're being scapegoated here. Like, like you're being particularly the constitutional carry bill, but some other things as well. And there just, this seems to be the default mechanism that we're going to go after guns and firearms. And I don't know that that's because you're in a red state in Alabama. Is that really even a solution we're discussing, because we know where this is headed. It would be just like any other liberal policy that this, this is a waste of time. Yeah, you've seen in blue, blue states and blue counties across our state where they, they, they try to go in there. They don't put a priority on their law enforcement. They try to defund the law enforcement. They, they do things to cut their law enforcement. They don't support the law enforcement. You lose them around in your departments. The, it's hard enough to recruit, retain and hire new officers as it is. And then if you get the reputation of not supporting your, your law enforcement and, you know, not being there for them, then that makes it even harder. So this is a complex problem. And, you know, I've said this before, this is, there's a lot of issues related to the assets, you know, from social issues to home raising and issues to the economy. I mean, there's, there's just lots of issues that play into the automobile county. We have a lot of industry high-paying industry at that that are, you know, came in and it's awesome for our area, but they're also hiring up a lot of the good candidates that we would normally have as law enforcement officers. So that's taken from the hiring pool. There's just lots of problems that, that relate to this. And to the crime and the issues, I mean, you got jail overcrowding. You got judges that, that use the jail overcrowding to, to not do something. So I think that, you know, it's a complex problem with that's going to take a lot of wise people to, to put some answers to. I mean, first and foremost, we have got to build more prisons. We've got to come up with, with a way to, be able to do that and afford to do that to put things prisoner somewhere. Yeah, I think you're right, but that's, that's going to be another fight in the, in the future. I guess we will have to talk more about that later. Representative, we got to cut it short here, but I appreciate you making time for us and we'll talk again soon. Yep. Thanks for having me Jeff. Y'all have a blessed day. Change, Stringer, ladies and gentlemen, we'll be right back. This is F.B. Talk, one of six, five. My heroes have always been cowboy and they're still on the scene. Sadly, they've searched out one step in my heart for themselves and there's look back to the Jeff Moore showed up and talk about those six, five ways high, high gas lighting, seizing for conservatives here. Liberals just telling us what we see with our own eyes. Don't believe that we liked Kamala Harris all along. There were no direct, that was not a drag queen displayed. That was not blasphemous. Always going on at the Olympics on Friday night. No, no, no, that wasn't meant to be insulting toward Christianity. It was something totally misinterpreted. What are you talking about here? Okay, sure guys. I don't think people are going to believe you though. Yeah, no one's really going to believe you. 2513430106, we're wide open until the bottom of the next hour. So keep them coming. I'll see here a name text or great commentary. That's why we should not be in Alabama in the first place. You know what you're talking about there. Context always helps, but maybe maybe not dirt nigger. Good morning, dirt nigger. Jeff, I hope you and your family have a great trip vacation. I deserve to appreciate you all for keeping us informed. Your show is three hours, but you put in way more hours to make this the greatest political talk show in our state. Be careful. I am here for the until next week. So we're just it's just going to be the three year old that I before I start school and it is school daycare. But the idea we're going to do kind of a cool trip is to come quite a little traveler. Please excuse me while I digress here. We're going to hit a Braves game and I think dirt nigger. I'm going to try to drive the entirety of the Blue Ridge Parkway. That's where I'm from originally where I was born. I'm not really from there. I haven't spent a whole lot of time on it. But I was born at Western North Carolina. That's where my family, a lot of it's at right now showing them around there. But we're going to try to drive the Blue Ridge Parkway begins in Cherokee or Carolina going to try to drive the whole thing up to Virginia. It is Waynesboro, Virginia. But then in there, it crosses over, becomes Skyline Drive. And then it proceeds on up more farther to the northeast to the Shenandoah over the Shenandoah Ridge there all the way to Front Royal Virginia, which is only about an hour. So from D.C. I take you to D.C. Show them a few things. Probably too young to really get it, but we'll hit a Nats game and the thing he's really excited for is a NASCAR race and Richmond that next Sunday night. So yeah, it'll be a whole week without no Jeff Moore. I feel an host. We'll get more to that later in the week. 2-5-1-3-4-3-0-1-0-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-6-5. From Bucks Pocket to the shores of Orange Beach at all points in between, an insider's perspective on Alabama politics. It's the Jeff Moore Show. I don't think Hank done it this way. We're back to the Jeff Moore Show at FM Talk 1006-5. Thank you for staying with us on this Monday morning. 2-5-1-3-4-3-0-1-0-6. Dale Jackson, WVN. Yell and Purdue is showing us here in about a half hour of one of your favorites. So please stay tuned for that. Talking at Olympics or Zippick, what do they call it, her? Olympic Jesus, but oh, Zippick Jesus. That's out of bounds. We should not make fun of people for that. They're out early appearance, shouldn't we? I'm going to talk about that and what happened? ale.com. Jeremy Gray might be one of the one of my least favorite human beings to ever walk to earth. I've been very facetious, but he's got a story. They just went and ale.com does this. They found some random business owner who just reinforces their worldview. They said, "Ah, there's no blast for me. There was nothing to be out. No offense to you. You Bible thumping, Klinger, Christian." It was just all a big misunderstanding. You just don't understand history. You need to, you're just a dumb ruby. That's why you were offended. That wasn't the last supper. It was meant to be offensive. It was, it's shock value. I think it's some point the shock value is aware and off in our culture. Especially in a society that's increasingly narcissistic with social media, but how do you get attention? You do something shocking. It's harder to do that because everybody's outshocking one another. It just feels like this is what is going on here with the Olympics. Maybe the adults in the room should have said, "No, this is a little too risky even for our taste." You have a protected class of individuals with these drag queens, and they could not dare be told what to do. It's the world we live in. Text slide 2513430106. See me, Carl, did you know the mosquito spraying is there to make people how don't feel and how don't know any better? That's all about it is good for it has a little effect on mosquitoes or whatever. I mean, I just, I don't like mosquitoes to do something, but also aware enough that you can't expect a government to fix all your problems, or you can't rely on the government. Let's say, I don't know. I mean, it's like they were given much. See me, Carl never given much thought to you. What you do here? I'm just telling you this, and maybe Representative Fiddler was right, it's because of the rain, but my neighbors and I noticed an uptick in mosquitoes this year. I've had this House in Fair Hopes since 2021. We bought it in summer 2021. We cut down a bunch of trees. We've done a little hard work, not enough to my liking, but going in the backyard and walking around, and we've had a pest control come out here and treat. We tried a bunch of different contractors, but this year, 2024, for some reason, has been a really bad year for mosquitoes, where they just blanket your leg when you walk outside. Well, maybe we have some standing water nearby in our yard somewhere. It's the south. It's been raining a lot, but apparently I am told like there's been a lot of this in our neighborhood. And if you familiar with Fair Hope, the south of downtown sort of residential district is called Fort Nut. And our neighbors in Fort Nut, including one JD Crow and others, I know Ben, you know what I'm talking about. I mean, they have just said that the mosquitoes have been worse in our neighborhood this year. And that was just an observation. I don't care what it does to the bees. I don't like mosquitoes. I don't think about bees. Or maybe I should, but I don't. Okay. Jim, Jeff, where to travel around the state, tell us, Lucid, Aniston and back in the 90s, surprised at the low P.D. folks had a mobile. I seem to think mobile is a smaller version of New Orleans and all the negatives in detail, not religious party, love and et cetera. Good show. Jim, Jim, you know, this is probably more of a more of a perception that worked against mobile in the rest of the state 20, 30 years ago, but it was the Catholicism. But yes, just where religion was more of a make or break thing for people. And mobile being so Catholic, it was frowned upon by a lot of people in the rest of the state. We've always had these denominational skirmishes right throughout our history, especially Christianity. But I think a lot of people in the state, once you get past a certain point, they look at Catholicism as a pagan religion. And that worked against mobility in the eyes of some people. But then I think that that's died off slowly. We're more secular now, but it is this perception that it is a place where you go where crazy things happen. But you're right, Jim. I mean, it's it's changed. Historically, though, there's been that problem. Alabama is a very tribal state. I say this all the time. And it's some of its culture, a lot of its economic, some of its just geographic, and talking about the different divisions in the state and how certain parts of state look upon other parts of the state. But you can go read to Killamocking Bird and read about how Scout Finch is used Winston County, Alabama. The long, all, you know, free state of Winston sided with the North in the Civil War, always Republican. But there's other examples of that. I mean, up North Alabama, you didn't have the agriculture. It was too hilly, too rocky, the soil just, you know, you didn't have these big giant cotton plantations or big soybean or corn or whatever they grew in these plantations. So the economies are different. And the kind of people that were working in around there and the education opportunities, the economic opportunities are different. And then all sits that whole group of people, the entire demographic in these towns all over the state in different directions. Whereas, like you compare Alabama, like Kansas, or where they grow wheat, but there's so much wheat there, Iowa, the corn, Nebraska. But the diversity of this state has made it very tribal for that reason. And some of it's religion and culture, but a lot of it's just economic. It just makes people a little different. And somehow it all comes together. You guys just think of it as a big old jigsaw puzzle. It all comes together in Montgomery. It's kind of fascinating to watch. But the puzzle piece that doesn't really fit has always been like the coast, different economy, different culture. Well, they celebrate Mardi Gras there. And yeah, you're right. There is this perception that it's a miniature New Orleans. But we know the truth. Gene, GOP does have a minority issue, only 4% of representation at the convention. So much are getting out the black vote way to throw in a red herring there. And I don't know where that came from, Gene. As Kamala Harris is, the people are going to go vote for her now. Paul, I don't think female, there was a better female country vocal than Barbara. I'm talking about Barbara Mandrell. I named texture accountability. We should all stand for this. I named texture letters D and E, and I all concur of the word mediocrity coincidence. I'm just being trolled this morning. So two gauges to do a stadium last summer. I see the bridge at Fulton Turner in the new stadium, and I could say the new one is my favorite by far. Looking forward to that really. I haven't had a chance to go to the truest park. And it's been open a while. My wife's been, I haven't been. This will be Little Man's first major league baseball game. We watch it on TV and talk about it. Did you go to school at three? I did not never heard of three or four-year-old school growing up. Well, it's a different time on named texture. Let's go. I mean, like, you want to get your children kind of coached up for later in life, but so the school they need trying to teach them to read at a very early age. I mean, yeah, there's some of their usual, like, take care stuff going on. But like, we have a five-month-old a day care and that's take care where they change diapers and they have snack time and nap time and all of that. Like to actually do like learning a curriculum. Where you haven't established curriculum, I'm going to call it a school, okay? I know the difference. There are distinctions between the two. Heavy kids. So he starts school. He's on the young side of three. I mean, since our three-year-old was born in January, all his classmates are much older than he is too. Every parent needs your kids smart or whatever, but we're going to call it a name texture. I know you don't like it, but I don't care. I'm going to call it school. But maybe they didn't have it when three or four-year school, when you were growing up, and they probably didn't have iPhones or they probably didn't have maybe in your case toothbrushes. I don't know, but things change, buddy. Ma's. Hi. Jeff, my father's from Waynesboro, that's Central Home is now in a museum on the list of historic places. Stop. And if you get a few minutes, plumb family museum on mainstream Waynesboro, one of the last battles of the Civil War was fought in my backyard or in the backyard. A few mini balls were made from the old house siding, the Blue Ridge Parkway Skylar Drive was great driven at many times. Yeah, let's try to do the whole thing. It's like been on the bucket list. There's bucket list routes. That's one, the A1A all the way from the top of Florida, the Key West, Pacific Coast Highway, you know, like a Route 66. We're going to ease our way into I think good, good medium sort of type excursion there. I think we can knock it out in three days and still see some stuff. But that's the plan. A name texture with Trump loses a good number. Be able to say it was cheated like he always do. Republicans are like little breading brother who never accept video games. Auburn does the same thing. It's always the rest ever because they suck. What happened when Trump won in 2016? What did you say? A name texture? I'm looking at this. I'm kind of scrolling back through your you've been you've been texting since March at least. You've called me a liar several occasions. What's it like having to like wish cast with your politics? Not able to have any critical analysis of your own side. What's that like? How about things that suck? I bet you're a prisoner of your own head. Let's get a break here. We're back. This is the Jeff Porchola for talk one of six five. Do you want to do it for me? When you don't believe a word I say up late again watching TV with my best friend laughing at late night show. I don't know what's wrong with me because I know I need my wrist but I'm going to stay about sleep on day and my best. Hey, yes, we are. We're back to the Jeff Porchola for talk one of six five programming. Come up tomorrow. We got John Wall. We have a member Republican party couple of guests to be named later. I have a better idea better sense of things probably tomorrow and we will. It's always twitter.com/Jeff_Porch, if you want to know what's coming up. Let's get through these textural quick rapid fire shots as the silver ponytails are going to get Zika now. Leah, good morning Jeff to you and your neighbors need to put up some bad houses. Research it. I've heard that before. I believe right now is Tucker Carlson. Maine was a big proponent of the bats. Sam, good morning Jeff. Mrs. Biden said that it was spectacular. Why didn't we spend millions of dollars for her to go there? I kind of appreciate something of nature. The same ones that think that there isn't anything wrong with Mr. Biden. John, for every national election, the government should require that social media accounts and political candidates be shut down for six months prior to the elections. This would make candidates that much easier. No, it would take a way. It would de-democratize the media. Right now, social media conservatives at least can respond to like Politico or some of this revisionist history about Kamala Harris. John, at least they can do that right now. At least candidates can respond to the media to get all of this stuff wrong. I mean, they just get it wrong and there's no remorse. I don't like that idea. James, the official troll that Jeff Moore showed published have an identity problem. He had the president totally emasculated JD Vance by saying he does his kiss ass. The Trump little loyalty, but for my client, I don't, James, get your, get your spell check out or get your grammar check her out. Our Republicans have an identity problem. I think we know what the Republicans are in 2024. If you don't, then you're not actually listening to the show. You're just too busy sending tweets or text. So Renelle Tony, I think it's funny when the Democrats get a tiny leg up, the liberals come out of the closet on the text slide. Guess what? Liberals, it'll be crickets. So I don't think they have a leg up. I think it's this perception they've, they're many, it's all manufactured guys. If Kamala Harris really were as awesome as they said she is, why wasn't she the nominee all along? Why did she win in 2020? Why are we pretending like this is new? And she's new on the same. When she's old, she's been tried. She has been, she has failed as a candidate. She is cringe. I am telling you, they think they can keep this up for 99 days. I have my doubts. Uh, so I don't think they have a leg up, Summerdale Tony. I name text your Trump 1 2016 loss of 2020 with the help of COVID voting laws. The 2020 election is on Trump for losing it and not taking advantage of the COVID voting laws. The Trump loses this election. It's on Trump. As soon as the debates was over, he knew that he had to run against the VP and campaigns. He's to be dragging their feet on getting running against her. I don't know. I mean, we always say Trump plays like 3D chess or whatever. But is it is now the time to smack around the new candidate? Is this what you want to spend your money and your resources? Because he's doing this. He's having events and he's saying a lot. What do Republicans have to do? And this is, this is JD Vance has to do this quit responding to the dumb, manufactured attacks of the left. Quit talking about Project 2025. Quit talking about sexual couches. Quit talking about all that. Don't talk about any of the childless cat ladies, because guess what? They are childless. Some of them are childless cat ladies who are trying to tell us how to run our lives. It's all fair game. Stop responding to their attacks and go on offense. I know it's easier said than done. The human impulse is to try to respond to everything, but if you're explaining, you'll lose it. Make them explain. They probably won't. The media, it's hard to get traction in the media, but we have our own media now. They have Fox and talk radio. They have their own internet and their own websites. Just start sending some solos their way and make the employee defense. We'll be right back. This is it from Talk 10065. Welcome back to the Jeff Moore show. Welcome to Talk 10065. They just stay with us on this Monday morning. Text line 251343 0106 is how you get in touch with the program. Joining us now from Neil Hammer News and from WWE and in Huntsville, Dale Jackson. Good morning, Dale. How are you? I have never been better. I'm glad to be here. So super excited. What a great day. What a great life. What a great world. It's getting a good night's sleep. I did. It was amazing. Is she did any recreations of the last supper that really worked the last supper or anything like that? No, you're such a uncultured boob. A Dutch historian has explained that this was not a depiction of the last supper, even though it's called the last supper opening ceremony or whatever they referred to this as. But it's actually a recreation of the Olympic gods. And that's obviously what's happening here. So how dare you suggest otherwise? And I swear you are a monster. And so what if it's just drag queens as well, guys, testicles hanging out? That is something all of our kids should see. It'll make them better, more progressive people and more likely to vote for someone like Kamala Harris. So it sounds like you're a racist too. We've lost. We've lost. I mean, like the big McDonald's and I don't know IBM, big sponsors, not bothered by this in the least. The culture wars. I don't even know why we'd bother fighting anymore if we can't win one or something as big as the Olympics. Oh, yeah, I know. I agree to completely the one of the things that I find to be most bothersome about this is that the people promoting this are the same people that if you dared do something like this, with Islam, which I would think would be insulting. And there's no reason to do that either personally, meaning intentionally reference their God and stick it in there in a mocking way in a situation that is not made for parody and things like that. Like if you do it on South Park, whatever, I got less of a problem with it. But if you're doing it like like this and you're using drag queens and you're doing during the opening ceremony, the Olympics where there might be kids with a lot of kids watching and stuff like that, just why? What is what is the obsession of the, I guess, international left with drag queens in degeneracy? What is their deal? What is it? I mean, am I to believe like Kyle Whitmire just loves taking his children to see drag queens and things like that. And it's the most important thing in his world. Is that what I'm supposed to believe? I mean, because I kind of do, but is that what I'm supposed to believe? Here's what it is. And they won't admit it. I mean, we're just, we're just going for the biggest shock value to these people. And are for a, they're going for shock value to us. But then they're apologists like, what are you talking about? They're not trying to do that to you. How dare you, sir? How dare you, you uncultured boob? Yeah. And you're just a monster for daring to suggest that anything else is happening. And, you know, you just need to sit down and shut up and get back in the kitchen, Katie Britt. Oh, speaking of threats to democracy, I just, a week ago, we were sitting here talking about Biden dropping out and, you know, everything looked like it was in shambles. But boy, these, these, these, the institutional, the media, I mean, they, you got to give it to them. I mean, it was team ball this week. Yeah. What do you expect? They, that they are in full on reclamation project. They have dredged up the garbage from the bottom of the ocean. And now they're trying to fix it. I mean, that's what they're doing. And it's working. Pole numbers indicate that that's they're being pretty effective at this. Does it last? I, you say no. I say they have a hundred days where they're going to try everything they can to downplay all of her negatives and upplay both of her positives that she's black and female. And they're going to, they're going to make that happen. And Kamala Harris is going to be the person that is going to be on every magazine cover. We're going to told she's a trendsetter, a history maker, someone who is going to transform this country. There will be white dudes for Kamala. There will be white women for Kamala, black women for Kamala. I haven't seen the black guys for Kamala thing yet, but I'm sure that's out there. Asian women for Kamala, I'm sure is going to come out at some point in time. You got to ghettoize all of your supporters. And I think I heard that you were kicking off white dudes for Trump. Is that right? I mean, this was like a double standard, but what can you say? I mean, just imagine if you did do white dudes for Trump, what would happen? I mean, be it be proud boys or whatever. They would say you're a Nazi or that or every possible thing. And they would, they would pretend that we don't do this in this country. There's no way though they can maintain this right. I just, I mean, they're doing good, but this is a, I mean, this is some high level, very intense, but it's not just Jeff. This is where I think you're wrong. It's not just her. They now they've got Biden out of the way. It is now Josh Shapiro, Tim Walz, who do you never heard of Tim Walz until this week, but now all of a sudden you're supposed to be all about the Minnesota governor. Mark Kelly, everyone but Gretchen Whitmer, Whitmer, no more one woman only, please. You're supposed to care about Roy Cooper, I believe his name is, out of North Carolina. Yeah, they're in the process of rebuilding and trying to figure out exactly which one of those will be the most historic. I think they're going to go with the guy from Pennsylvania, because I think what they're going to, their calculus is going to be, see, we don't hate Jews. Look at, look at these guys on the top of our team. What are the people that that love Hamas going to do vote for Trump? Do you think they're, well, do you think they're crazy, look, base, wing pro Hamas? Yes. Guys are going to buy it. Yeah, you will know they won't buy it. They will hate it. However, what they will do is they will eat it. And that's their premise. I don't know. I mean, this is like a very intense full court press. And I don't know where it goes. You can't ramp it up from here. Can this last 100 days before it's like all the diminishing returns? I think so. I definitely think, I definitely think that's it. I think they're absolutely going to be able to keep it up. I mean, they have to dishonest and like cringe. That's the way it is. It's not, I mean, like, I'm used to them being dishonest. I'm used to like, you know, the the literal and not taking it Trump seriously, but taking him literally and taking it just like way too far and in the hyperbolic statements. But like, this is like a different sort of like, it's a level here. Here's an example. Let's cut to it real quick. Okay. This week, over the weekend, we've witnessed a couple of things happening. Kamala Harris's position on fracking is now completely different. And she now she's not forebending fracking, even though she said so repeatedly, not 20 years ago, like four years ago and probably more recently since, but she's again. So she's her position has changed on fracking and we're just supposed to accept it. There's also this whole like, well, Joe Biden has deported more people than Donald Trump did also, not true, but it's an argument they're making crime rate. They're handling it fantastically. The economy, they're handling it. Fantastic. All these things to funny the police bailing out criminals. You name it. Kamala Harris's record is being rewritten and the media is going with it. At the same time, JD Vance apparently had sex with the couch, which is not true, but the media can't get enough of that story. You also had Donald Trump say, I'm not a Christian when he garbled his words. And you know, this is Trump's own fault from waiting into these things. But that's his fault. And when they know exactly what he was saying, and they're not gonna get a benefit of the doubt, Donald Trump told Christians, Hey, look, things are gonna go so great. You're never gonna have to vote again. We're gonna set the country right. You never have to worry about this, which turns into he's gonna be a dictator in end elections. I mean, yes, the answer is they will absolutely continue this. And they will continue it for 100 days. And you're saying, well, won't Americans get sick of it? Yes, you and I will get sick of it. Well, not you and I, because like, here's the thing, like, I don't know, think of your favorite sitcom in the past, or are you for you? Like, you're what are your favorite moments in wrestling? Where they just, they took the they took the WWE superstars things a little too far, that jumps the shark at some point. I mean, you kind of run out of ceiling there, you run out of runway. And then at some point, it just doesn't hit like it used to. And this is this is the whole point though. 100 days is a long time maintaining this kind of momentum for 100 days is hard. You have no idea how accurate what you just said is. And I'm gonna give you a lot of credit. They basically had Kamala Harris do a face turn. She was a heel. They hated her. She was bad. She was awful. She did a face turn. Now she's a baby face. She's a good guy. And I think her baby face run can last 100 days. So yeah, do you need to use your wrestling analogy? I absolutely think it can last. They've turned her. Now she's good guy, crowd cheers her. That'll be fresh for 100 days. Now, it will be 100 straight days of obvious lying in BS. But, you know, Sergeant Slaughter tried to burn an American flag ahead of WrestleMania seven, I believe it was. And by SummerSlam, the next year, him and Hulk Hogan were teaming together. So, so I mean, you know, once you turn, you decide to turn the guy good. Well, then maybe you can get back on the same. Yeah, but so so you have all the pay per views and the Thursday night, the Monday night or Sunday night or whatever it aired back then shows. But but this is 100 straight days. This is every night. Every night is an episode every night. Back then back then, you only saw the superstars once a month. Yeah, now it's every night. I don't think maybe it lasts till September, October, but but the world just cannot. The world moves too fast now, the internet and everything. There's going to push against it. They're going to over accelerate it. Okay, there's push back against it. That's true. That's true. But they're going like all this, you know, white women for Kamala and stuff, that's just silly nonsense. That doesn't play to real human beings. Yes, they'll they'll promote it on our on our favorite channels and all this other stuff. Fine. But that doesn't play to real people. What plays to real people is Kamala Harris is gaining in the polls. You'll see that on ABC and NBC and CBS on the on the nightly news tomorrow. You'll see that when 13 million people or whatever tune in. The old people who are are gettable. Those are it's not the people who watch morning Joe tomorrow to see Joe Scarborough cucked by his wife on national television. That's that's not what those people already got. It's the it's the people who will just see people like Kamala Harris now. And now they're learning about her record and it's all the focuses on her and they like her and they'll say, Oh, they do. I guess she's not that bad after all. And that's exactly what will happen. I sure do love David Mir says my mom. Yes, then that's that's exactly what they'll run into. J town J town. Perfect example. Guests on my show today. Right. He tweeted out last night 42% an increase in violent crime from 2022 over 2021 15% increase in violent crime in 2022 over 2021. Now it's come down a little bit, but they're now claiming victory on bringing down crime. They're lying. Yeah. And they're getting away with it. But but it's it's like a there's a sports analogy here too. And I don't know. It's like a I know you're not like really, really super into other sports besides football, but like college basketball and you hit your you hit your stride a little too earlier or baseball and you're hitting you're playing your best ball and like July and August when you really want to be playing good and playing well in September and October. And I mean, that's just it feels like they're hitting the stride way, way too early here. And there's not going to be much more room. How could she go any higher? Yeah, I tend to agree, but isn't there something also to be said about the idea that if you're number one at the beginning of the season and you lose a game, you don't drop all the way out of the top 25. Instead, you drop maybe down to 10 and you can fight your way back in. But she's sent herself up to lose a game at the end of the season. She sent herself up to be the Georgia Bulldogs at this point, right? My my yeah, maybe. But the point I'm making is that is if she is able to get out in front, all she's got to do is play defense. And that's a lot easier for them to do. But I don't think she could get like a big, big lead. I mean, I don't think that she's capable of that. I think marginally she could take the lead from Trump. That that'll give her some momentum. Just, you know, that's a big deal. But I don't think you go see 10 point lead or anything like, I think this race for either of these candidates going into election day is going to be within reach. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I think I think Trump's in far more trouble than than I think some on conservative talk radio and in the conservative Twitter space and whatever want to believe. But Trump, the Trump, his credit, though, is not running a bad campaign right now. I mean, he's had he's had some things happen that have been in his favor. No question about it. But he is not running like a 2020. It's better than 2016 even, I think. Jeff, in the last 48 hours, Donald Trump has said, I'm not a Christian and I'll end elections. Now you and I know exactly what he's saying. We went over it already, but it doesn't matter. You got to can't do this kind of stuff. They're going to use every aspect of it against you. It's just one of the things like Republicans, especially Trump can show up at McDonald's and they're going to use it. I mean, there's nothing he can do that's going to be right, but he is not running a bad campaign. Jeff, I agree with everything you're saying. I agree with that. I want to put the candidate aside. I mean, the candidate is going to do what Donald Trump always does, right? But I'm telling you, okay, how about this? Okay. You don't like that argument. How about this? J.D. Vance is now in again, this is the media doing this. They're in the process of pulling him down. We're lifting up Kamala Harris. That's as simple as it is. They're in the process of destroying J.D. Vance to the point where now we've got all these stories. Oh, I guess we're going to have to take J.D. Vance off the ticket. I mean, what are you talking about? Is that serious? No, no, it's not serious. Hold on. Hold on. But you're getting story after story of that. And where's Trump? Trump should be out on the same bill. If we're not taking him off the ticket, what are we doing? This is the media is lying to you. Just say that. Now, my point is this campaign structure itself, take, you know, don't get caught up in the media cycle 24. I talk about having people in the States and registering voters and doing things that you need to do to win a presidential election, which the Biden campaign infrastructure is there too. But if we're just looking at Trump and we're comparing this to his last two presidential campaigns, this one by far with the foundation, put the media cycle aside and all the nonsense on the news are going to do what they're going to do. And that's going to play itself out. This campaign is much more solid in its ever been. I agree with that. I absolutely agree with that. I have no problem with that. I got it. I agree with all of that. But that does still doesn't mean it's running at top speed and can fight a media that has to destroy that it has to destroy. It has to it has to beat the media and it has to be Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris, by the way, Kamala Harris is her name. He's beat the media before. He also had them beat him down in 2000. Hey, who do you think? So who do you think is a better candidate? Hillary Clinton or Kamala Harris? All right, Bill, I want to find you online. They want to check you out. How can they do so? Okay, before I do that, I'm going to answer your question. Kamala Harris is going to get the Barack Obama. They're black help from the media and the Hillary Clinton. It's a woman help from the media. Now they'll know how to define a woman. So that's my answer to that question. So maybe Kamala Harris. All right, so you can find me anywhere at the Dale Jackson. That's the simplest way to find me. Facebook, Twitter, everywhere I am, YouTube, I'm working that, growing there. So go check out those videos. Yeah, the simplest way to do it at the Dale Jackson. Now the actual ladies and gentlemen, I'm going to ask you to find him on adult foot finder. I died. Oh, yes. Yes. Yeah. I'm going to break it here. We'll be right back. This is the Jeff for show. What I've been talking about. Oh, six five. That was the craziest game I've ever saw today. Was the craziest game I've ever saw. But I'm not going to quit.
