Seattle Police arresting three teens, two 14-year-olds and one 13-year-old during the Chinatown Seafair Parade. They had and were displaying loaded guns. Multiple people at the event witnessed them brandishing the weapons and called the police. Officers quickly arrived and detained the three juveniles. One teenager had a handgun that was modified to equip a 30-round magazine and an auto-seer for automatic firing. Well, an armed good Samaritan saved a pregnant woman. Police in Seattle report this good Samaritan came to the rescue of a woman during a domestic violence incident and shot her attacker. It happened Sunday at West Seattle's Lincoln Park, an adult male witness that was armed with a gun. He intervened on the in-progress domestic violence assault of a pregnant woman inside a vehicle. Police said the woman managed to get out of the vehicle. The man shielded her from her attacker. He tried to retreat while protecting the pregnant woman as the suspect kept moving toward them. He had retreated 40-50 yards into the park, telling the suspect to back away and stop pursuing them. Officers say ultimately the male shot the suspect while he was protecting the felony domestic violence victim, the woman, four months pregnant at the time. We recently talked with Cam Edwards from the Second Amendment Foundation about what he sees the direction of the Second Amendment rights according to who wins this year's election. And if Trump were to win, would, or could he, repeal some of the firearm control laws that were put in place by Joe Biden? In order to repeal laws, you're going to need support in Congress, right? The President can't do that himself, so you're going to need Republican majorities in the House and Senate too. But what we see with Joe Biden is that, obviously, the President does have a lot of executive authority, right? And so when you look at these ATF rules that have been promulgated under Biden's administration, I think we would see a complete stop to that under a Trump administration. But in order to claw back some of our rights that have been taken away via legislation, you're going to need to see Republicans gain control of the Senate. You're going to need to see them keep control of the House. And you're going to need to see Republicans make that a priority. And that's something that I think some governors are concerned about. You know, we saw this revamping of the Republican platform this year. And I know that there's some pro-life advocates who are unhappy that abortion language was taken out. There are some Second Amendment advocates who are unhappy that there is not detailed support for things like national right to carry reciprocity. And so I think between the two candidates and I assume that Joe Biden, as of the time of this airing, is still going to be the Democratic nominee, we'll see. But between Donald Trump and whoever the Democrats nominate, there is going to be, I think, a clear difference when it comes to the support for the right to keep their arms. And Donald Trump wasn't perfect. He actually called for the ATF to institute a ban on bump stocks. A ban that the Supreme Court has struck down. So I would like to think that Donald Trump, if he is elected in November, will view those guardrails against government overreach in a little bit different aspect than he did the first time that he served. And at the end of the day, there really is just no comparison between the track record of Donald Trump, imperfect as it might be, and Joe Biden, who has declared the firearms industry the enemy, and who has made it his mission to try to criminalize the sale and possession of the most commonly sold rivals in the country right now. That's just a stark difference between the two candidates. We better wrap things up, I've got an angry rooster right in front of me. Always kind of fun to talk to, Cam Edwards, along with his angry rooster. He finished running the bases and scored the Mariners only run on Cal Raleigh's single. However, he then was replaced by Dylan Morritt, shortstop top of the second inning. Luke Raleigh taking over for Morritt first base. He suffered a hairline fracture in his right pinky. Got hit by the pitch. It came around and scored, but now he is going to be out for a while for the Mariners. Tonight, 540, the Mariners. Game number two coming up, 530 pregame, 640 first pitch.
