What Is the Proper After Brocha to Make on Cereals Made from One of the Five Grains Ground Up (e.g., Cheerios)?
welcome everybody share number 830 getting back to our health as Brakhos okay I just want to talk a little bit about breakfast cereals but the after Brakhos right we spoke about the Brakhos before the cereals in general we said the it's extremely important to find get a list of the most updated cereals we went through some of the cereals just real quickly to go through again some of the klolum if it's made out of regular plain flour again you have to find out you know each one is different but let's say like for example churios which in general is regular plain flour one of the five grains wheat flour whatever so then though would be a masonos that would be regular masonos including the including the milk and everything else if it's ground up other if it's a ground up grains like for example like corn ground up corn will be a shahakal if it's a pure corn right let's say you have cornflix we have made from cornflix will be a shahakal we spoke about also the fact that if it's whole grains various different examples we gave that will be a hua dama possibly sometimes masonos usually hua dama but again we just stress the fact that one should just find out you know less things are constantly changing especially especially when it comes to cereals morning cereals now as far as the after Brakhos just a few klolum to go through a few important ways to look at it so it's a number one in reference to the after Brakh if you have let's say like churios and it's made out of pure flour right the regular masonos have a regular masonos type cereal or any other material or cereal that one knows is a masonos whereby but we're talking about masonos not the fact where it's a whole grain where it's crap we're talking about a fact when it's one of the five grains right one either wheat spelt oats or whatever the case is rye barley we spoke about but when it's a ground up one of those flowers right usually it's wheat sometimes spelt sometimes oats those are the ones usually I think it comes in but when you have cereal made from that and the person knows it's that that is the masonos it's a real masonos it's one of the five grains ground up flour fine very good it's never going to be hamosi right that's for sure not because it way it's made but be it as a may now the question is what kind of after Brakhadi you make so in general if it's a regular masonos type cereal right like churios I just keep on saying churios because that's like a standard you know run at a mill type masonos that everybody knows is a regular masonos whereby you need al-ha-merja that's regular flour in general I mean unless it's made differently but like from the standard the regular churios box that we know but be it as it may so now in order to make what type of after Brakhadi we make because again eating churios eating milk you drinking the milk eating milk with the churios so we said the milk as far as the first Brakhul right from motion said it's all inclusive in the original masonos that you get to make on the churios unless the person puts a lot of milk and they wanted for drinking they're putting a lot but the regular average amount of milk that a person regular regular regularly puts into their cereal is all bottle and toffle to the regular cereal so we're here you get to make it masonos and so the after Brakhul will be al-ha-merja but you have to keep in mind as long as a person ate the churios and kazayas but they are going to press under four minutes in others as far as the churios itself we don't put together the milk we have to count just the churios and the churios the person ate it let's say they ate a kazayas at some point during that bowl of churios or any bowl of eating five bowls or whatever it might be but if they ate a kazayas of the churios under a four-minute period so then they would make a al-ha-merja what i'm trying to say is that you know you have spoon after spoon of the churios you can say well like eight maybe three quarters possibly three quarters of a kazayas of churios under four minutes birtheicilous process again four minutes birtheicilous process is basically the same thing it's just the question of the amount of time that we've we've spoken about many many times and in general a large majority of the place can say that it's under four minutes between two to four minutes but we try and keep it under four minutes about the brings on sometimes under three minutes but under four minutes there's definitely what to rely on when you eat that kazayas so if somebody knows they ate let's say three quarters of a kazayas right i'll just give an example under the four minutes and but there was extra milk over there right it's three quarters of a kazayas under four-minute period at some point during my breakfast and my my bowl of cereal my bowl of churios so i ate three quarters of a kazayas under a four-minute period but i also had milk so maybe i'll put together the three quarters of a kazayas and one quarter milk so making an alcohol kazayas no we don't say that it has to be in general the halacha is that one does not we're going to learn it in the different simmon actually try and get more into it but in general we don't we're not much star if uh uh ikl and she's here we don't put together liquids and solids to make it um enough whereby one would need a after brought that to be either solids with solids solids with solids or liquids with liquids so in other words if you have let's say let's say i'm eating a bowl of churios and i'm eating another bowl of some other cereal that might be mizanos whereby it's made from flour as opposed to why i say flour because as opposed to if it's um we spoke about in the past sometimes it could be that whole grains might be mizanos usually they had dama but that's not what we're talking about right now at all the um that's strictly mizanos whereby it's made out of flowers have churios we have some other cereal possibly um that's made out of regular wheat flour right and and person knows for shorts mizanos so now even if they take uh they ate a kazayas under a four-minute period at some point a little of this cereal and a little of the other cereal but the cereal pot not the milk pot you know you could have the milk pot but as long as it's as long as it's as long as it's as long as it's a cereal so you could take solids with solids one cereal and another cereal a kazayas under four-minute period if that's what a person ate then they would have to make a al-hamecha that's the point that the point is i'm saying you could put together solid food with the solid food and make it enough whereby you'll need to make a um after brocha but you can't put together a solid food with a liquid food to make that whereby person would need a al-hamecha or or or after broch any after broch in general that that's the concept that's the um halocha so we want to keep that in mind okay so just to sum up today's share i don't want to get it too complicated we're talking about the muzonos whereby those those cereals that a person knows for sure is made from regular flower from the five grains first broch is going to be berry muzonos right and then the after brocha if that's the case that it's made out of one of the five grains um the after broch is going to be as long as a person ate a kazayas under a four-minute period so then the brocha would be a al-hamecha and again it doesn't have to be decazayas i want to explain i know people they ask a lot of a lot um the people of less ask a lot in the past that does that kazayas you have to eat it right away no could be at any point you always like to try and eat a kazayas right away like this you're in the clear right especially when it comes to watching with bread or so on you want to try and eat a kazayas of bread under a four-minute period as soon as possible preferably right away like this you're in the clear um but as long as you eat a kazayas let's say in the case of back to our churios our example as long as a person ate a kazayas of churios uh the churios per se under a four-minute period at some point during their bowl of cereal or even if they had two bowls at some point even there throughout their two bowls of cereal so then the two bowls of let's say churios and then they would have to make a al-hamecha um at the end and of course you don't include the milk um as far as making it the sheer whereby one would need to make an al-hamecha again a kazayas under four-minute period at any point in time in their eating um process in their eating of these bowl this bowl of cereal then they would make a al-hamecha. Thank you for listening us la kombra,
