That's BetterHELP.com. It is Wednesday, Brian, and we know what that means. That means it is buy, sell, hold day, and we've got a bunch of great submissions as we always do from the board. And again, just to reiterate kind of the way we do things for all the people that are currently listening and that we will be listening on the podcast. In order to get your question for buy, sell, hold, you have to be a member of the message board, the premium message board, over at hoursbreakdown.com. If you are a member every week, we put out a topic and you just go ahead and put your question in there, and then we relay that to a card, and we put that on the show, and I know I'm saying we, it's not we, it's you. It's not that. It's something that's being discussed in the chat. Oh, gotcha, gotcha. Okay, fair enough. It's like your face, and I was like, no, that wasn't towards you. Fair enough. Fair enough. So if you've got to be a member of the board to get your question asked, or there is one other option. If you want to throw us a super chat, you can get your question added to the mix as well. I don't know if we've got any of those in the queue yet, Brian, or not. Nope, no. Okay. So if you want to add a super chat, you can do that. If you didn't have a chance to get your question over on the premium message board, but I will say this, if you, if you give us a, a super chat to get your question in, and you're not a member of the board, save your money, put it towards the message board, then you can do it all month. Yeah, every time. Now, if you're a board member and you just want to support us in a different way. Fair enough. Yeah, no, fair enough. But if you're not a member of the board, that's where you need to be putting your dough. All right. So just, just throwing that out there. I'm sorry. I just have to respond to this from Archer in the chat. So he, he got you. He basically said he thinks Mitch 11 is an arms best skill player last year. It's okay. What's your reasoning? Well, he would take Mitchell over to Ohio State tight ends, but he wouldn't take. Well, I know you're buying into the hype about guy average less than five yards a carry last year. Audric was over six the last two years. He is not a better running back than Audric estimate with all due respect. The other thing is those two things have nothing to do with each other. Him, one guy being better than the Ohio State tight end doesn't mean he's then better than the Notre Dame running back. Who may not be better than the Ohio State. That's completely false equivalence there, in my opinion. But I don't know of anyone that thinks that Mitchell Evans was better than. Then a hundred estimate last year. I mean, Mitchell Evans is a good player, but he had five catches in the first four games combined. You know, and part of being good is being able to answer the bell every week. It's kind of a kind of a big deal. And then he compared him to Brock Bowers. So, okay, now, okay, the Ohio State guy is overhyping the Notre Dame guy. I can live with that a little bit. Be honest with you. I kind of dig that. And I hope he's right. I hope that has brought ours ability. This isn't a knock on Mitchell. I think Mitchell is very, very good. I just, I continue to think that Audric estimate was one of the most underrated players in the country last year. Because he's not, he's not like a flashy guy. Just gets the job done really impressively. But, you know, I don't want to make it seem like I'm down on Mitchell because I think Mitchell was very good last year. I mean, very good. I just think Audrey was their best player last year. Right. That's really what it comes down to for me. We can jump back in. I'm sorry. It's had to respond to that. Good. But I mean, it's a good football conversation. I'm not mad at anybody. I'm just like, no, come on now. That's just not. Yeah. That's fair. I mean, yeah, no, that's definitely fair. All right. Buy, sell hold. And I just did it. Irish Gordian not buy, sell hold. Mike Brown will finish 25 recruiting with at least two flips for major programs. Well, I guess I don't really know what he considers a major program. Is that just mean power for in general? Or is he like, does that mean you flip a kid from Bama or a house to hate or something like that? If it's, if it's the ladder, you know, flip kids from power for teams. Yeah, I could probably buy that. They need to. They want to. So last year, they only needed one. So they got Logan Saldate before they only needed one. They wouldn't got KK Smith. This year, they need to. And so I could see that if you mean power, you know, power major programs in like the top of the top top 10 teams. No, not to. No, I don't know that they'll flip any, but definitely not two of them. So I'll buy it in the one sense and sell it in the other. I'm just not quite sure what the question means. Another one from Irish Gordy and not buy, sell hold. The play of the safeties will be significantly improve with Mickens as their coach. Sell sell. Look, I think Mike Mickens is a very good position coach. Everybody knows that. I think he's one of the best in the business. Number one, I'm selling that it'll be because of him as the coach. I think Mike Mickens is a heck of a coach. Number one, he won't be with the safeties all the time. And number two, although I had issues with Chris. So leery is a recruiter. It was a very good safety coach. Yes. Guys, a full time coach in their name for like three years. And he had two all Americans and those three years. Right. I mean, so he was a very good coach. Very good. Yes. Very good. The other part is I am buying the play. I am buying that the play, the safeties will be significantly improved. If you just stopped it there, I buy it because I think the town is going to be a lot better. I think that Rod heard and Adon Schuler to me are going to be a way better. Than what DJ Brown and Ramon Henderson were. Mainly because I just think Ramon was awful last year. And I think Rod and Adon are so much more athletic than DJ. So I'd buy that part, but if it's just because of Mickens as their coach. Because the question just could be like, I took the question, Vince, or the submission as. They're going to be better because of Mickens. All right, if it's just, they're going to be better and he's in, and you're just saying he happens to be the coach by that. By that. Sure. Sure. But if it's just strictly just because of him, I sell that because I think that's a, I, I think Chris O'Leary was, I think they would have been much better if he would have stayed as well. I think they'd still be significantly improved if he was still the safety coach, in my opinion. So yeah, he's an awesome safeties coach and I think people forget about that because of some of the safety recruiting misses and I think they just assumed that he wasn't a very good coach. If you, if you remember Kyle Hamilton raved about coach O'Leary and his coaching and lobbied hard for Baltimore to bring him in as the safeties coach. If I'm not mistaken. If you also remember Jeremiah Usekor Mola had a lot of things to say about him going into, you know, after 2020 because he was actually the rovers coach in 2020. That's right. And so you could look at and say that guy's been a basically kind of working with a position four out of the last four years, he had an all American in three of those four years. It's not an accident. Right. Football season may be over, but the action on the floor is heating up. Whether it's tournament season or the fight for playoff home court, there's no shortage of high stakes basketball moments this time of year. Speeding is a rush on the field in the zone where it matters. As an athlete, I push my limits to win. But when I get behind the wheel, I know the importance of slowing down for safety. Because speeding is illegal. It endages you, your loved ones, and everyone else on the road. Did you know speeding accounts for more than one quarter of all traffic-related fatalities nationwide? Just like we need to focus the score touchdowns and win games, we need to be in the zone to stay safe on the road. Speed limits are in place to protect everyone. No matter what the speed limit is, anything over is not only illegal but dangerous. Like athletes, jobs must stay alert and present because there are no reward for speeding. Nothing is safe about it. Dropping over the speed limit might seem like the quicker option, but speeding catches up with you. Stay focused and the split second, everything can change. Pay for by NHTSA. By-sell hold from Irish Gordy Not Again, Ben Morrison will be outshined by Christian Gray in the same way that Morrison outshined Cam Hart in Morrison's freshman season. Well, that depends Vince. Whether I buy or sell or hold, that depends on how we mean by outshine. If you mean outshine meaning like Christian Gray gets a lot of national publicity because he's making a lot of interceptions, I could buy that. But that would be because of how good Benjamin Morrison is. Nobody's throwing at him. And so they're throwing at Christian. It's kind of like, and so I'm trying to think thoroughly about this question, it's kind of like a couple of years ago, when Kobe Bryant won the Jim Thorpe award over sauce gardener, his teammate. That was 2021, I think it was 2021 is when that was the case, maybe 22, forget what year that was, because nobody would throw out sauce, because sauce was so good. And then that gave Kobe a lot of chances to make a ton of plays. And that's what happened Morrison's freshman year. Right, exactly. Teams weren't throwing at Cam and so they're like, "Hey, let's pick on the freshman a little bit." Yeah, so like when I look at that Vince, I say, "Okay, well, I could see something like that being true where he outshines it from a national perspective because national people tend to primarily just look at stats." Yeah. Yeah. Pretty much. Yeah. Pretty much. And so I just, I think that felt like, so to back up my point in 2020, it was 2021, sauce gardener and Kobe Bryant both had three interceptions each. But Kobe Bryant had 11 pass breakups that season, and he also took one of his interceptions back for a touchdown. That really was what it boiled down to, why he won that award, because a lot of those people don't watch football, they just look at numbers. And Kobe played really well against Notre Dame. They both did. The difference was Notre Dame threw at Kobe and he broke up three passes. They didn't throw at sauce, so he didn't have a chance to break up any passes in that game. So that's really what it boils down to for me. And so in that regard, I could buy that. I could buy that. If you're talking about outshining, meaning he's going to be the better player, no, he won't be the better player. So I don't know how you took that question, Vince. I was deeply offended by the outside and cam heart part, and I checked out at that point. So. I love it. I love it. I'm so offended by the cam heart part. I didn't even pay attention to the rest of the question, nor did I have any desire to listen to your answer. Come on to the next. That's what happens when you say something like that. That's the VP of the cam heart fan club right there. Can't go there, man. Can't go there. All right. A few more from Irish Gordian, not by cell hold. Mil Wagner will reach his goal of 300 pounds and will start against Texas A&M. I don't know. I mean, that is goal. First of all, I don't know the census goal. I think that's a fan goal for him. I've said this a million times. I don't care for meals to 90. I don't care if he's 310. I care about how he plays. I've seen guys get up to 310. Nicholas Pettit Freire was that way to Ohio State. Ryan and I've talked about this in the past. He got up to like 315. And he was a guy that was bigger than a meal, but he had a smaller frame. And he got slow. His feet got slow. And he was not the player he was coming out of high school. At Notre Dame, he'd have been 305, 310 and much still quicker if he'd have played for coach. He stand or even Jeff Quinn, to be honest with you. And so I just don't care about weight. A meal could be 300 pounds and still get tossed around like a rag doll because weight doesn't eat like just throwing 10 pounds on a guy doesn't mean he's going to anchor better. It's just 10 pounds. I mean, give, look, I'll say this, go up the next skeleton and hand him a 10 pound weight and say, throw this like a frisbee and you know what he will, he'll frickin throw it like a frisbee. It's 10 pounds. It doesn't matter. It's about how well he's able to anchor and how well he's able to play. It's the thin lower body that's the bigger concern and I've said this a million times. And that's what's going to be the key. So I don't really care about the 300 pounds. Somebody said that they heard he was up to 310. I have no idea if that's true. I doubt that's true. He'll lose a bunch of that fall camp anyway. I don't care about his weight. I care about how he plays. Right. Now, having said that, do I think that there's a chance I'm going to buy a meal Wagner's winning the right tackle job at fall camp. I'm actually going to kind of bury the lead a little bit and say that I'm buying that a meal Wagner will win starting right tackle job at fall. Okay. I just don't think it's going to have to do with because he got like at least 296. That's not that's four pounds is he's not going to be starting right tackle. You know, yeah, four pounds. And if you stood 300 pound a meal Wagner next to 296 pound a meal Wagner, you would not know the difference. It's four pounds. Like, you know, people get so wrapped up in the numbers that four pounds is not going to make a difference. Yeah. Okay. Maybe he hits his my goal is over 300 pounds and he did he did he played with a lot of power. No, no, he wasn't. He was a light. He was still light in the pants a little bit. Sure. And he had to be my goal. It thrived on technique and leverage and being smart and those type of things. It wasn't like, Hey, I'm 300 pounds and I can throw people around. Right. A meal is going to be stronger at 290 than what Mike Goldick was at 305. That's again, that's not a shot of Mike Gold Jr. It's just just stating facts. Yeah, right. It's your power. The thing with a meal is can he anchor. Can he play well. Can he hold up at the with the makeup of his body is the bigger concern for me than the weight. Everybody's so obsessed with weight. I care more about the makeup of the body. If I come out and fall camp and a meal looks thicker in the thighs and thicker in the behind. That's what I'm going to care about Vince from a football standpoint is like, Okay, that makes me feel better. I don't care about he's got more of a gut now and put on 10 pounds extra pounds because he had a few cheeseburgers. Right. That's not going to or he's even the opposite. He could just be super muscular in the upper body. Awesome. You know, put him in a bodybuilding contest. Right. Doesn't mean he's going to be able to hold up against a 285 pound defensive ends power rushing him because all the weight's in the upper body. That's a concern with the meal. And if he can, if he can build up that lower half, he's going to be really good. Yeah. And I'm going to buy it because I'm being optimistic today. I love it. I love your optimism. Appreciate that. I mean, Aaron Banks was pretty good. He was a second round draft pick. Aaron was pretty good combination of power and size. I mean, I'll say this, he's got a shot to be. Okay. It's hard for me to say that about a guy who's only started three games compared to a guy in Aaron Banks who was an all American and a second round draft pick. You know what I mean? Like he was pretty good. He was pretty athletic and pretty powerful. He didn't look it. You know, because he's a bigger guy but but he was so I'm going to hold it. Honestly, Vince, because I think he has a chance to become that. But if I had to do buy or sell right now, I'd say sell just because he still has his generational though. You got to prove to me you're better than Aaron Banks before we start talking about. You know, and he's not saying he's as good as going to anything else. And I'm just, you know, Alex bars in 2018 was pretty good. He was powerful. Not not as athletic as Billy, but Aaron Banks was. He was pretty athletic. So I'm going to have to, I'm going to have to wait to see him play more than three games. And I'll just say, I'm holding it because I think he has a chance to be the best since Quentin. You know, as far as the combination of power and athleticism. So, I mean, again, Aaron Banks guys in 2020 was an all American in this ended up being a second round draft pick and he's a star in the film now he's pretty good player. By sell hole between Denmark scheme and significantly improved interior line play the offensive line as a whole will appear to be better than last year. I'm actually going to buy that Vince. I don't wonder. Yeah, I don't like the word appear. Either you're better or you're not. I don't know. Well, I will say this. You could take you can appear not as good as you think because you're being asked to do. I think I take the question is. The line being put into some, maybe some bad spots last year doing scheme that they shouldn't have been doing got you. And then also when you look at the fact that the interior should be better. That, you know, they're going to appear. I don't think I took it as a negative way that you took a peer. I just because I think appear better. They may not great out a whole lot higher, but let's say that they're they're more consistent because this the run game has been simplified a little bit. So if the last year's offensive line would have been getting a chance to play in a more streamlined run game, maybe they would have been better. That's kind of how I take it a little bit Vince. Yeah, to be honest with you. And that's why I'm going to buy it. I think it'll be better than it was last year. I don't have a lot of doubt about that to be right with you. And that's that I guess that was where I was going with that. Like, I feel like they're going to be better, not just appear to be better, but I understand where the question is coming from because he's saying Mike Denmark could put the offensive line in more advantageous situations like in the past, where they're just being their heads against the wall against a packed box where they just didn't have a chance to be honest with you. I think I don't believe Mike Denmark will do that. And so I could see how they would quote unquote appear better. I get it. I'll buy it. Yeah, I'll buy it. Christopher Crosby by cell hold. What is going to happen to Duke now that Riley and coach Elco have left has been a forgotten story for this season. Their schedule is not a cakewalk for the new regime by cell or hold. They don't make a bowl game this season. You want to take a first shot at that Vince? Well, I mean, it's been a forgotten storyline because it's Duke. Like, I mean, I don't mean that disrespectfully but it's Duke. They're not a football powerhouse. They're still a basketball school. No matter what anybody says, they're still a basketball school. And so I don't know that it's been a forgotten storyline per se. I just think nobody cares. I love that you said that like nobody cares. It's not a storyline. It's just nobody cares. We don't forgot. It's nobody cares. Well, here's, here's what I'm going to say about Duke. I wanted to grab the magazine because I wanted to kind of go over a couple things here. Yeah. Number one, losing Riley Leonard Hertz. Sure. And I don't think, but they did get Malik Murphy in a portal. No, I don't think Malik Murphy from Texas is as good as Riley Leonard is, but he's not, he's, he's still more talented than your typical Duke quarterback. Sure. You got Joe, Joe Quasmore's back at running back. You're receiving core. Everybody comes back and Eli Pankles back from injury. So they'll have him back. The big concern I have for their offense events is they lose three of their starting five offensive linemen, which is a problem. Here's where Duke is going to be in trouble. They lose their entire starting defensive line from last year and all but really one or two rotation guys. And so they, they lost a ton from their defense. They got some portal guys, but not a ton of portal guys. They didn't have as much portal successes as Mike Elko had. So, you know, I think their offense is going to still be. It's good. Pardon me. It's going to have a chance to be better this year because they're going to be healthier at the skill positions as long as their line can hold up. But I think their defense is going to take a bit of a step, a big step back and that's what's going to hurt, hurt them. Is it, are they going to make a bowl game? I'm going to sell that they don't make a bowl game because I think they'll still have enough to make a bowl game Benson. And I think that their schedule is their schedule is a little bit more. It's challenging, but it's, I'm just going over it now. They've got Elon on there. They've got Yukon on there. They've got Middle Tennessee on there. And then they got home. Yeah, they play at Northwestern. Maybe they don't win that one, but they smack Northwestern last two years. They get North Carolina at home, SMU at home, Virginia Tech at home. Those are all winnable games at Georgia Tech at Wake Forest. You know, maybe you win one of those. So I'm going to say they're going to be a bowl team again, but I don't think Christopher's submission is nuts. Because I do think they're going to be, I mean, look, we saw it last year, Vince, once Riley Leonard went down, that they were a far different team. Oh, 100%. The difference is Malik Murphy's better than the kid they brought off to bench last year. That's, that's the difference. For sure. For sure. I'll buy it. I'll sell it. Excuse me, because I do think they'll be a bowl team. Because I honestly think they'll go four no to start off with. And then over the last eight games, you got to win two. You went two out of the last eight. I feel like they can probably pull that off, because they get to six wins are going to a bowl because there's just so many bowl games, right? So, yeah, I think, I think they'll make a bowl game. But look, they're just not going to be as relevant as they were. You know, you're not going to see game day going to Duke anytime soon like they did last year when Notre Dame played Duke. Part of that was. They beat Clemson in the opener too. They're not going to have that big opportunity in the first four games like they. Correct. So, I mean, yeah, they're not going to be a national storyline and they're just going to kind of be a forgotten ACC team. Sorry, there's any Duke fans listening, but that's just the way it is. Yeah, I actually think their offensive line was pretty good last year. Somebody in the chat said that their line wasn't great. I actually thought their offensive line was pretty good last year. Remember against Notre Dame, they didn't have their starting left tackle who was a first round draft pick. He didn't play against Notre Dame last year. So, I think their old line was very good. They just lost three starters. It was very experienced. Yeah, but and that's going to hurt them. Team like Duke just can't reload on the offensive line like a Notre Dame can. They don't. I said this about Oregon State. Notre Dame that was not hurt nearly as badly by them not having their offensive tackles in the bowl game as Oregon State was by having their not having their offensive tackles. Now Blake Fisher and Joe water much better than the kids in Oregon State. The difference is Notre Dame's trotting out a pair of former top 100 recruits to slide in a tackle and maybe another future first round draft pick slide in the tackle where Oregon State's not does not have that kind of player to slide in there and Duke is more like that. In my opinion. This is a new one. Oh, I'm sorry. I was staring. I was like, there's a lot of these events that people ask multiple questions. Gotcha. Okay, fair enough. And obviously, as long as these were, they're great submissions, but I just couldn't fit them all into one card obvious. No, it makes sense. Christopher Crosby by cell hole with all the hype surrounding which quarterback may win the Heisman trophy this season by cell or hold. We will not see a true defensive player win the award again in our lifetime. So for example, not a Travis Hunter type playing both sides of the ball. Well, I would kind of disagree with the premise. That we won't see a defensive player when the award again. Based on your submission. I don't think that we've seen a defensive player only win. Because Charles Woodson was a was played offense. I mean, Charles Woodson, I believe, caught a touchdown pass against Ohio State. Well, that's why he won the award is because exactly. And he was a returner. He was a putt returner. So Charles Woodson in his Heisman Trophy winning season had 33 putt returns return a three yards in a touchdown. He caught 11 passes for 231 yards and two touchdowns. So I mean, he was playing offense. And as I said, he caught a touchdown pass. I'm actually going to pull up that box score because he, that was one of the craziest, like individual performances like he just destroyed David Boston, one on one. And then he caught a touchdown pass. And I thought he had a punt return for a touchdown in that game too. But I could be misremembering that one, Vince. Let me just pull up this box score real quick. Because Michigan actually on their website has like box scores from like way back in the day. So here, let me go back to this box score here real quick. And see Charles Woodson had a 78 yard punt return in the game. So he did not catch a touchdown pass. It was a 78 yard punt return that he had for a touchdown in that game. And then he actually didn't catch a pass against Ohio State. I could have, Oh yeah, he did. He caught one pass for 37 yards in that game. So yeah, he was very good. And then of course they went out Beto House State that year, 2014. So Charles Woodson was really good. And he just had some crit. Remember that one handed leaping catch yet on the sideline against Michigan State? Like he was a freak. But again, does he win that award over paint manning if he doesn't play offense in special teams? Exactly. He doesn't have three touchdowns on non defensive situations. I don't think that he does. So, you know, based on that now to now to give him a little bit of levered leeway here in his question. Charles Woodson had what did I just say 11 catches for 231 yards. Travis Hunter was a legitimate starting wide receiver. Charles Woodson would play receiver at times. Travis Hunter last year caught 57 passes for 721 yards in nine games. And, and so, you know, I, I, I tend to agree with that. So I just wanted to kind of push back on the premise a little bit, but based on what he said to actually answer submission and buy the heck out of that. Because the Heisman trophy is turned into an offensive, an offensive player on one of the best teams in the country award. That's what it is. It's not even a defensive player award anymore, in my opinion, and it never was. I mean, the year that endama can sue, like, you know, I mean, if endama can sue is not going to win the Heisman trophy, then I just don't know who, you know, who should ever have a shot to win the Heisman trophy. I mean, like Vince, his last year, he had 85 tackles, 20 and a half tackles for loss and 12 sacks. You know, I mean, he was just, he was just insane. And he didn't win the Heisman trophy. You know, and so, I, you know, I just, I just think that award is just so, I mean, Mark Ingram won that award that year. Mark Ingram wasn't even the best running back. And Don Mcinsoo finished fourth in the Heisman trophy that year, Vince, like it just, the award just doesn't mean a whole lot to me as far as it used to. And, you know, that's to me a big part of it, to be honest with you right there, like I'm trying to go through here real quick. Well, was it, was it Aaron, was it 2013 that Aaron Donald had those just that crazy season Vincent Pitt. He was probably best player in college football. Yeah, he had 28 and a half tackles for loss and 11 sacks in 2013. Do you know how, do you know where he finished in the top 10 and Heisman trophy bidding Vince. Eight. Nowhere. Nowhere. He wasn't even the top 10. It was a very much true question. The entire top 10 was it was seven quarterbacks and three running backs. You're telling me that 10 best players of college football that year were all quarterbacks and running backs. It's not a trophy for the best player in college football. It's not an offensive award. And that's basically it. Let's agree. It's an offensive skill pair award because it was an offensive award, then, you know, Quentin Nelson might have got some voting for that in 2017. Right. Right. And I don't, he didn't get any votes for that. Right. So. Yeah. Yeah. By that and buy, sell, hold from Ann Arbor peaked in high school. Great name. While the season opener is a little over a month out, it is already time to start thinking about the menu by one, sell one, hold one brisket sliders, baby back ribs wings. All right. So I'm selling baby back ribs because I just don't get ribs as a tailgate food. Just, that's just me. Just because of the sloppiness of it. The sloppiness. And I kind of like ribs fresh. You know, and it's kind of harder to have fresh meat, like making your ribs out there in the parking lot. Yeah. And then they, how long have they sitting there? You know, brisket sliders. I'm buying. Those are the, those ones I'm definitely buying. I'm probably holding on wings. Just depends on how saucy they are. Yeah. Like if you give me a nice dry rub wing and a tailgate, I'm crushing some dry rub ingredients on the tailgate. If you're giving me stuff that's like got sauce on it and stuff like that, I don't know that I need to make that much of a mess. It's a pass. I don't want to make the mess. I don't, there's just not enough napkins in the world. You know what I mean? And there's no washing hands and all that kind of stuff. And now, if what, what, go ahead, Vince. Home party? I guess that was going to be my, that was going to be my counter. Yeah. So home party, to be honest with you, I'm kind of in the same boat because I just, first of all, I'm never going to have a spread like this in my own house. So that means I'm at somebody else's house watching the game. Why? It's just never going to happen. You can't cook? No. We just don't have people over. Gotcha. So, so basically, we're talking. Okay. Let's try this, Vince. Okay. First game of the year, neither of us are traveling to it. Okay. I'm sending someone else. We're doing this at my house. No kids. Oh my. Okay. So how does that help? Yeah, I know. Now what's your thing? Ribs are still third for me. So, ribs are still the hold. I mean, still the cell. And I would still go with the same order. I don't like it. I don't like getting all sloppy when I'm eating. And I know that that's crazy to some people. I would love a dry rub wing. I think I would dominate. That's what I would probably make. Yeah, I would dominate that for sure. And if you're making it, I would put that in the buy and I would hold the brisket sliders. Although a good brisket slider would be really, really good. Are you a long cooker kind of guy, like brisket ribs, like that kind of stuff? Is that not? I mean, I can and I have, but I'm not. It's not something I'd love to do. I trust your wing making abilities. And so I would put that in the buy category. FYI, I'm making smash burgers tonight. I thought you did those last night. I was going to do them last night, but Angela, she was busy. So I'm doing them tonight. I'm making smash burgers and I'm making her corn and cob. And then I'm also making her sweet potato fries, homemade sweet potato fries. So, just making me jealous two days in a row now. Thanks, buddy. I'm going to have extra burgers and she's going out of town tomorrow. So you want to party at my house. Don't say it if you don't mean it. I wouldn't. Okay, buy, sell, hold a Texas Sam by one, hold one, sell one in their current situation. Jonathan Smith, Michigan State. Matt rule. Charon Moore. Now, buy, sell, hold those same guys. If Notre Dame had to hire one of them to be the head coach. Again, I don't, I don't really want to sell any of those guys like in the submission is saying I got to buy one, sell one, hold one. So I will honor the submission. If I had to buy one. Well, if I had to hold one, it's Charon Moore. He's never been a head coach before. So, you know, I'll kind of go there. I have no idea what what Charon Moore is going to be. So, I'm going to buy Matt rule and sell Jonathan Smith. And the reason I would go that way is because I think Matt rules is more established at Nebraska. I think Nebraska is a school that has a better shot to be a top level program over Michigan State. So, you know, alumni base where they can recruit from things along those lines. I've always said this fence. It's hard for if you're not the number one team in your state, it's really hard to recruit at a high level. The only two places where that really happens is in Texas and Florida because there's such big states. Michigan's not that big of a state. And so I'd probably go there. Now, the second, well, what would yours be for that part of the question events before we move on to the next part. I think Jonathan Smith can find a way to be Michigan State successful. And if he wants to stick around, I think he could stick around. I think Nebraska fans, if Matt rule doesn't put himself in the top quarter to third of the big 10 on a regular basis, I think they'll get sick of him and they'll move on. And so, for that reason, I would buy Jonathan Smith, I would hold on Matt rule and I will sell Charon Moore. So, I'm just not sold on Charon Moore. I know he's never been a head coach before, but I'm not willing to hold on him because there's just too many question marks. Something about him rubs me the wrong way. And it's not the fact that he has the block M on his hat. It's the crime. You know what it is for me. It was it was how he emotionally lost it after the pencil. Yeah, man. Like, come on. And I mean, I love the energy, but I just like here, here's why I'm holding on him because I said, I've said before, I'm never going to doubt Charon Moore again. I've made that mistake twice and he made me look stupid both times. That's where I'm at. That's really what it boils down to for me. Okay. Okay. Now, second part, by so hold, those same guys have noted him had to hire one of them to be deadcoats. Now I'm easily selling Charon Moore because there's no way I'm going to hire him without experience here. The difference is Marcus Freeman had been here as he was already here. He had a chance to see firsthand what he was capable of. Right. No way I'm doing that one. I would buy in that situation for Notre Dame. I'm buying Jonathan Smith. And I'd sell Matt rule. I think Jonathan Smith is a much better fit for Notre Dame personality wise. Yep. I think he's a better football coach. I think Jonathan Smith is an excellent football coach. I think he's an offensive minded guy. I think their name needs that kind of thing. That was my only rub against Marcus Freeman is I think that in today's era, I would rather have an offensive coach that hopefully puts value on defense than a defensive coach who a lot of times they just defensive coaches tend to have a harder time valuing offense the way that some offensive coach. Look, we've seen Marcus Freeman have kind of some issues in that in that department as a head coach. And so I get what you're saying on that one. I agree with you in the order that you went. I like Jonathan Smith. I like what he did at Oregon State. I like when I think he's going to do at Michigan State. And again, like I said, I think he can carve out a niche there. But as a note as a Notre Dame fit. Matt rule is not a Notre Dame fit opinion. So, and he's, I mean, the next time Matt rules been in a place for a long time will be the first time Matt rules for a good time. He just, you know, like somebody said he's a proven winner. I was like, well, kind of, he's proven that he can build a team up and have one good winning season and then go to the next and then bolt. Yeah. Right. I mean, so stain it. Exactly. Exactly. So he had what two good years at Temple 10 and four, 10 and three out. Baylor goes 1117 and 611 and three leaves for the NFL. You know, so part of the issue of Baylor was, you know, he left them kind of in a tough spot recruiting wise he didn't recruit real strong down the stress there and left Baylor and a bit of a tough spot and they struggled the next year. If you can't recruit in the heart of Texas, then, you know, I'm not saying you're going to get all stars. He didn't because he knew he was leaving like he was building Baylor up fair enough to then leave for something bigger. Yeah, that was, well, all he felt was his goal there. Right. So, you know, we'll see. We'll see. But yeah, I think John Smith would be a very strong. If he doesn't miss his eight. Well, I think he'd be a strong hired Notre Dame. Should there ever be a need for one? Yeah, I agree. He's somebody I would have in my short list. For sure. Walmart has the trusted brands and products your kids need for school. Like HP Chromebooks. Yep. Reebok hoodies. Yep. Pokemon pencil cases. I think you know the answer. But just in case, yes. Go back in a style with Walmart. This episode is brought to you by AutoTrader. Look around. Double Bogey buy, sell, hold either Cam Williams or Mike Gilbert will be Notre Dame's next thousand yard receiver. And he hasn't in parentheses, not this season, which I agree with. I'm glad he kind of put that in there. But the next thousand yard receiver. So I think the next and this isn't just to make salty happy. But I think the next thousand receivers a better chance. It's going to be Jaden Gray House than anyone knows. That could be this year, depending on how I don't think this is a crazy submission. I could see it being one of them. Yeah, I do. I think there are thousand yard season comes in twenty six. I think Jaden's maybe comes next year. Yeah, I don't think it'll come this year. I think there's too many guys to spread the ball around to this year. And a lot of those guys leave after this year. And so I think Jaden Gray House steps into the forefront at that point as well. So it's a zone for me. Double Bogey with another buy sell. Hold it down. Shuler is the breakout star for the defense this season, not because other players aren't stepping up, because he really explodes and steps up. I could buy that. I mean, I think if he's if he's a breakout star, it's only because of that. Because I don't think Rod Hurd's going to be bad. I think Rod Hurd's at least going to be solid. At the very least is going to be solid. So if Adana is a breakout star, I could certainly see that. I'm not I'm selling him as a breakout star. I think a Don could could have a breakout season in that he goes from not playing at all. To being a really good solid, you know, part of that receive rotation or safety rotation is the number three guy finishes with 30 plus tackles. That's a breakout for me for a Don. He didn't play last year. But a star. I don't think he's going to be a star, not not this year. I don't think he's going to get the playing time to be a star. And I realize if he plays exceptionally well, he'll carve out more playing time, I guess. But I don't know that he's going to get the opportunity to be a star. So that's why I'll sell it. I think he's going to play very, very well. And I think the fact that he was able to run with the ones during spring is going to help him tremendously going into this season. For sure. But I don't buy him as a cell this year. But it's going to be, it's going to pay huge dividends for next year when he's going to be expected to step into the starting lineup. By cell hold, the first touchdown of the season is a go route to Chris Mitchell. Sell because I don't think it'll be that, but I'd be very happy about that. It'd be great if that was the case. And I hope it's on the first couple of plays, you know, Notre Dame receives the ball, then just scores and just shuts that crowd up immediately. That would be fantastic. But I'll sell it because I never, ever bet on touchdown scores or first to score any of that kind of stuff because it never happens. It's always somebody you don't expect. So. Sell for me. Shaped down the thunder by cell hold, Riley Leonard will set career bests in completion percentage yards and passing touchdowns this season. Easy by. Definitely the completion percentage. I think he's going to throw more than 20 touchdowns. Yes, I agree with that too. Yeah. And yards as well. I think he's going to show people. Yeah, it's a buy all the way around. I like that. Bayside Tiger six by sell hold outside of starters Notre Dame has the best pool of players to be on special teams in 30 years. Yeah, bye. Bye. I'll say the 2018 team was pretty good. I had a friend of mine who coached against that team and he was like, dude, it was ridiculous trying to play against those special teams because they just had a bunch of 225, 230 pound kids five. You know, like Bo Bowers and all those guys. You know what I mean? And they got a better group this time around. Yeah, I agree. Look, we've been talking consistently about the roster and the depth. And if you've got depth, those depth guys are going to be the guys band special teams. And if that's the case, yeah, bye. Huge bye. Irish fan mini by one cell one hold one. Gerby Lambert starts against A&M. Gerby Lambert starts more than one game in 24 and Gerby Lambert takes a red shirt. Buy one cell one hold one. I'm going to sell that he starts the opener. Yep. I'm going to hold the starts more than one game. I mean, I'm going to buy that he starts one more in one game. I'm going to hold that he takes a red shirt. Just because I need to see. And honestly, it has nothing to do with Gerby. It has to do with the meal wagner. Yeah, from we'll Wagner starts the first job, the game that I think you'll see a shot that Gerby red shirts, greater shot that he red shirts. Now, obviously I have no information about how Tash Baker or Mill Wagner have been doing in the summer and all that stuff. Nothing. I'm just listening to Brian talk. I'm, you know, just on the show, frankly, that you all have been listening to as well. And I feel like he's going to be the starter. And if that's the case, barring injury, and I never want to make by cell hold based on if I think a player is going to get injured. That's silly. I'm not going to do that. And so I'll sell the fact that he starts it again A&M. I'll buy the fact that he gets a red shirt and I'll sell the fact that he starts more than one game. The funny part is he could start more than one game and still red shirt. So, you know, if there's an injury, maybe he is the second best tackle and maybe he does get a start because of an injury. And they could still red shirt him, which is mind blowing, but still a possibility. So, Charles started the bowl game last year. And there you go. You're playing a red shirt. Exactly. So, I mean, if Billy Shrout was a freshman last year, and just started the last three games, he's still red shirts. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Crazy. It's kind of crazy. It is crazy. DM in the 13 by cell hold the playoff committee will barely, if at all, punish the losers of the big 10 and SEC championship games in the final rankings that determine playoff seating. No, I will, I will say this, seating and final rankings are different. So those are, I think there's going to be two different things because Notre Dame is not going to be fifth and like, let's say Notre Dame's undefeated, just as just as an example. Notre Dame's undefeated. They're not going to be ranked fifth, but they'll be seated. Right. Fifth. Yeah. I mean, because that's kind of what goes in. Yeah. So, here's my thing, Vince. It just depends on how the games go. And honestly, I'm okay if they don't punish them at all. And here's what I mean, like, let's say, let's say that Ohio State, no, let's use the SEC season example because Ohio State will be hard because it's Oregon and Ohio State play each other. Well, let's just say this. Let's say Ohio State. Let's say Ohio State beats Oregon on the road first game in the right of season game. They go 12, no, Oregon goes 11 and one and their only losses are really close home lost to Ohio State or vice versa. And they win the rest of their games and win by a decent amount. They're clearly two of the best teams in the country. Notre Dame goes 11 and one and loses to Texas A&M. And then both of those teams would probably be ranked ahead in Notre Dame at that time. Better wins, you know, all that. If one of those team, if the team that lost the regular season game wins the rematch by a field goal, I'm sorry the loser that game is still probably a better team than their name. They should be seated ahead in Notre Dame. Because again, the whole point, if the committee does what they say they're going to do, it's not like the polls. The thing I hate about the AP poll and those type of things is they are just, they're reactionary to the most recent set of data. A ranking should be a complete reset of everything and you re rank the teams based on the current resume as a whole, not who won this past weekend. Right, so a team that loses a game should drop between five other teams that that have a loss that happened to win that game if their resume still better than those other teams. Now, if, so if one of those two teams, for example, loses that game in a championship game, in most cases, if it's a shootout or a really good game should probably still be ranked ahead of another team that didn't win their conference championship that had a loss and didn't play in their conference championship. I'm not punishing the two teams that are playing in the conference championship for games that other teams didn't have to play. The only way that I would drop them below is if that loss means they have a worse record than those other teams so like if if 11 and one Oregon is ranked as the four, you know, the five seed, or you know ranked number five and Notre Dame's number six. And Oregon goes out there and loses to Ohio State and now they're 11 and two. Okay, I probably put Notre Dame ahead of them because now Notre Dame's overall resumes better because they have fewer losses. If Oregon's 12 and O and they're ranked ahead of Notre Dame, Notre Dame's 11 and one, and Oregon loses in the big 10 title game by field goal, they probably should still be ranked ahead of a team like Notre Dame. That that's kind of how I look at it and so I will I will buy that if it's a competitive game. That that's how I that's how I view it. If it's a competitive game where boy that could have gone. That's a perfect example the 2012 title game between Georgia and Alabama. Like literally Georgia has a ball knocked down inside the tenant away from tying that game or winning that game actually. That's a great game back and forth to great teams. I wouldn't have punished Georgia going into the play I wouldn't have whatever they were seated before the game. I probably would have seated the same afterwards unless I would have flipped Bama over them let's just say hypothetically Bama was behind. Yeah, that's how I feel about that one. Because this question was about Notre Dame right so I use their name as an example. He wasn't saying that it's like he wasn't taking this is like some anti Notre Dame type of question. I just use Notre Dame example I don't think the big 10 and SEC losers will be punished as much like I think the ACC loser will take more of a hit than the big 10 or SEC loser. That's that's what I think. One of the defensive linemen will have 10 plus tackles for loss. I'm buying the heck out of the one lineman will have 10 plus tackles for loss. I mean that that's been true almost every year for last at least the last three years. You got to sell one of the other ones right which is I'm selling Drake Bowen when making a hundred tackles I'm definitely selling that one and the reason I'm so let me just real quick so the last time Notre Dame had a defensive lineman that had less than 10 tackles for loss or more. It was 2020 because they had two linebackers that had a lot but Notre Dame just doesn't. A couple reasons why I don't think Drake Bowen's going to be a hundred tackle guide number one Notre Dame hasn't had a hundred tackle guys since JD Bertrand 2021 as a will, because the will tends to get a lot of tackles in certain types of defenses. I think you're going to see a rotation align backer. Even if Drake is the guy you're still going to see 25% of the time somebody else where we didn't see that at JD and I also think that they're going to blow a lot of teams out. There's a lot of teams that they're going to blow out on the schedule this year. So I don't see him getting a hundred tackles. I don't. So that was an easy one to defenders will have more than 80 tackles. Let's see when the last time that happened at Notre Dame. So last year no one got to 80. The year before that the number two is 58 year before that high was number 55 year before that the high period was 63 year before that. So it's 2019. Two guys got to 80. Jeremiah Wusukor, Moa and Drew White. I'm going to say that's the one I'm selling for a couple reasons. One I the blowout thing again and the rotation thing again because again we're talking 12 plus one right Vince we're not talking they play 15. I can't do that. I'm going to I'm going to sell that one. I'm going to hold that one because I just don't know if those guys are going to get enough opportunities to have that and we just haven't seen it happen in our name. Because they're going to play more guys going to blow out saying. You know and also the defensive line makes a lot more tackles on this defense than the previous ones that factors into as well. And it's powered across at 66 tackles last year as a defensive lineman. You know I mean that's he was the number two leading tackle on the team last year. So it's just that's so that's how it goes. Do you disagree with any of that Vince would you do it? No, I like the way you kind of walked us through it. And I think that's fantastic. I mean, I think it's kind of a six to one half a dozen another whether you whether you sell or hold the hundred tackles versus the two with 80. You know what I mean because I don't think either one of them is probably going to happen. So it's like, okay, well, which one do you sell and which one are you holding? I could go either way and come up with a pretty good argument for either one. So it doesn't really matter which one to be perfectly honest with you. Hesberg mafia. That sounds like a gang I want to be a part of. By so by so old, Notre Dame has to fourth quarter comebacks this year. Okay, I buy that I still hold. Yep, fourth quarter comebacks. I mean, I wonder how good you are. There's times you're going to be trailing in the four minutes times. You're going to have to come back. I'll be trailing in the fourth quarter. I think they're going to win most of their games. And so yeah, I'll buy it. That's fair. That's fair. You know, I'm trying to think, you know, you go to the 2018 team, they didn't have. They had what? Let's see here. Pit was a fourth quarter comeback. USC was a second half comeback. I don't know if it wasn't a fourth quarter comeback, but it was a second half comeback. Syracuse is a blowout. Florida State was a blowout. Northwestern. They had a lead there. They won that one, Navy, Virginia Tech. The only one that I can think of is maybe Vanderbilt, but they had to lead that one too. So I don't think they trailed a whole lot that year. But I think this year's schedule is better than that. So I'm going to say, yeah, I'll buy that. Yeah, why not? I actually think it's a good thing if that happens because I think you want to be a little bit battle tested. Sure. Yeah. Something that you can go back to. Yeah. Or, you know, like go back to the well, like, Hey, you guys have been here before, you know, that kind of a thing. Yeah. Notre Dame never trailed against Vanderbilt either. So yeah, buy, sell, hold Notre Dame has two more, two or more nationally recognized award winners. Now, I want to ask this question about the question, Brian. Does all America count? That's a nationally recognized. No, because I don't think it's an award. I think it's a team. It's an honor, but it's not an award. Okay. You get an award, usually like a plaque, but it's not an award. So it would be one of the individual positions. So the two or more. I'm going to sell that. I'm going to sell that Vince because I think this Notre Dame team is more about the balance of how good they are. You know, could it happen? Sure. I could see a scenario where Mitchell Evans wins the John Mackie award. I could see a scenario where then Howard Cross or Xavier Watts wins an award on defense certainly. But Notre Dame, this is a lot, Notre Dame fans like love to complain about like media bias and stuff like that, which I think is nuts and most, not nuts misguided in most instances. This is one where they're flat out. 100% is a bias against Notre Dame. 100%. 100%. Like, like the fact that Quentin Nelson didn't win a, Quentin Nelson did not win a single individual award at Notre Dame. Crazy. Not one. Not one. So I just absolutely, I think that there's a lot of bias against Notre Dame when it comes to any individual awards. And because it's made up of voters who are biased towards Notre Dame. Yeah, exactly. You get people that cover other teams and stuff like that. There's, there's a ton of bias. I think Notre Dame fans overplay the whole bias against Notre Dame thing. And like the casual playoff committee's bias, because they're, no, they're not. They're very proud. Yeah, they're there. If there's a bias against Notre Dame towards Notre Dame and the playoff committee, it's been in favor of Notre Dame. Most years that I agree to, you know what I mean? Absolutely. But this is one flat out where there's a, no, so that's why I was shocked when Xavier Watts won his trophy last year. Like, like Tyler Eiffer didn't win the John Mackie award in 2012. Like, you know, it just, I mean, 2011, excuse me. Like he was, he was better in 20, he was better in 2012 than he, or 2011, he wasn't 2012. You know, so, but he didn't win at 2011. Dwayne Allen from Clemson did. It's like he was, you know, the only reason he won at the next year is because Notre Dame was 12 and 0. It's like they gave us so many awards to Manti. Like they're like, well, we're putting Notre Dame on pause for the next 10 years. You know, it's nuts. It's nuts. But yeah, I mean, I, I'm still pissed that Quentin Nelson didn't win the Lombardi award or the outlet. I mean, it's just, it's, it's, it's just ridiculous that Quentin Nelson didn't win any of those awards. So yeah, there's definitely a bias in my opinion towards Notre Dame. It comes those type of awards. Yes. Unanimous all American, but couldn't make, couldn't win a single Ed Oliver won the one. Give me a break. Yeah, break. So yeah, I'm going to, I'm going to buy that. I remember to sell that, but I could see it happening. J Fish by sell hold special teams will have a bigger impact for Notre Dame in 24. Then 22 under Mason, that's a huge sell. I don't know how you can have. That's no shot at Mark Mardi Biage at all. No, but that was just, those are the kinds of years. Special year, man. Like that was a special year with all the blocks and everything that they did. I just don't see it. I don't see any special team season being as good as that one season was to be perfectly honest with you. They did things that just aren't done. You know, on a consistent basis. Like everybody knew that Notre Dame was really good at blocking kicks. And yet they continued to block kicks. Right. Now where it could be like, you know, maybe Notre Dame this year is better at punting than that year. Or better at field goals and better returns. Maybe something like that. But like, I just, there's game changing blocks that season, man. Yeah, there's, there's literally, I mean, you think about events like obviously Clemson. Yeah, that's the one that comes to mind. Right. I mean, that, but it's not the only one. I mean, the Navy one turned out to be pretty huge when they blocked that kick against Syracuse. Remember, they blocked the punt and recovered at the one yard line against Syracuse. And that really helped break that game open. So they, they were just a team Vince that just, I mean, it just was uncanny how good they were at blocking kicks that year. I mean, it just, and like you said, they were, they were game changing plays. They really were. They were game changing plays. And, and then even then it wasn't just that. Like you think about the, you think about the, the bowl game against South Carolina and your special teams gives up that one touchdown, which I think was more about the defense and it was special teams. Well, then that special teams comes back later in the game and they do that shovel pass to bring Lindsey for a big play. Right. I mean, so there were times when the special teams made an impact in other ways as well. Not just, you know, not just, yeah, you know, just the defense. I think the return game could stand to get better than it was in 21 or 22. That, that's one area where I could see if, if we are wrong about this, it's because of the return game is a lot more explosive dynamic. That's where it would be. By sell hold, Riley Mills leads the team and tackles for loss. That's a hope by for me. A hope by a hope by it's a hope by, because I think if Riley Mills leads this team and tackles for loss, it's, and I'm taking this up because it could be, he does and he has six and a half and the defense isn't that good. I'm taking it is I already bought that someone's going to have 10 tackles 10 plus tackles for loss. I just feel Riley's on the verge of a breakout and I feel like him breaking out has such a huge impact on every other defensive line position. Sure. Because of Riley, if Riley figures it out, he's the kind of guy that forces you to double team him. Like, and just he could have a huge impact. He's just got to put it all together and he hasn't done that yet, but the tools are certainly there. By sell hold, Golden Dome is the coolest landmark on campus. Coolest. Hmm. It depends on your definition of coolest. It's not, it's not my favorite landmark on campus, although it's probably the most iconic. I mean, what is your favorite. The grotto. The grotto. I love going to the grotto. Yeah. I don't think that's cool though. I think that's a thing. I think it's like, I mean, I've gone over there. I'm not Catholic, but I've gone over there and prayed. I mean, I don't. I mean, look, the coolest Catholic only prayer thing, you know what I mean? Right. The one of the coolest landmarks on campus is the indoor football facility. Yeah, if you're talking about. I don't know if I'd count that as a landmark per se. I mean, I think touchdown Jesus, the mural on the side of the library is actually pretty cool. I think that's, that's pretty cool. Like, I'm trying to think about like my first time on campus. What was the thing that stood out the most? It was the dome. Sure. I mean, that's, that's when I think about cool. Like, it's like, what's the thing that when you first were on campus like, Oh, my gosh, I'm at Notre Dame. I saw that. It's probably a dome. It used to be the stadium, but I don't, I don't think the stadium, the stadiums like kind of, wow, it's impressive. It's an impressive figures. Like, it's impressive building. Yeah. And the way it was the way that they were designed, able to design buildings on it, you know, like, it's like, that's impressive. Yeah. The way they were able to expand on the original and all that. They didn't just. I will say this. I think the stadium looks way cooler on the inside than it used to. It just doesn't look as cool on the outside. That's fair. That's fair. You know, because it doesn't look like a stadium as much anymore. It looks like a big building with a football stadium inside of it. You know what I mean? But on the inside, the stadium looks way better now, which was kind of the point, to be honest with you. I mean, that's what they were trying to do is they were trying to make it a multi purpose building. Yep. And they did. And they did. It looks much. I love how I actually really like the stadium on the inside now. Yeah. Yes, agreed. Yeah. Yeah, so it's a good one. So I'm going to buy the Golden Dome, by the way, just because I think when I think about the first time I was on campus, that was the thing that's not the most. Was that fair. O&D 15 by cell hold will Howard is not the starter by seasons end for Ohio State and it's not due to injury. I'm going to buy that Vince, but it's I don't feel great about it. It's all going to come down to the Oregon game. If they go on the road and beat Oregon, you can't bench them. You really, you really can't. I mean, you just, you can't bench a guy that that's that's. That one you that game. Yeah. Yeah, you just, yeah, you can't. You really can't. And they'd have to go lose another game. So, but I think also if you lose that game, then that's your, your sort of your push to say, okay, we can make a move now. Sure. Excuse. Right. Cause if you bench him sooner than that, and then that the freshmen goes out and loses to Oregon, you're going to get crushed. Why did you start the freshmen? Why did you do this? Why did you do that? Then, yeah, then you look bad. Then you look bad. So it's probably not a good idea. Buy, sell, hold Penn State and it's just third and the big 10 and makes the college football playoff. I honestly don't remember what my standings were Vince when we did it. Did I have Penn State third? I think I had them third. I don't, I think I did too. And if that's the case, then yeah, I mean, and the committee loves Penn State, which I don't get, but I agree. So I'll buy that. Yeah, I buy it as well. Buy, sell, hold four SEC teams make the playoff Georgia, Texas, Bama and Ole Miss. Hmm. I'm going to hope sell this one, Vince. How about that? I love your hope answers. They're kind of cracking me up. I don't want four teams in the SEC to make the college football playoff, but they probably will. So I'm going to hope sell this one. And if you were to tell me which three would make it, the first three would be the ones that I think would make it. I'm just, again, I think Ole Miss is a very talented roster, but they just got to show me something this year, Vince. They just, their schedules set up nicely for them to get in. I just need to see him prove it. I could see LSU making it kind of a crazy run into playoff spot. I could see, you know, A&M, if they beat Notre Dame, the opener might have a shot. You know, a lot of people in the Missouri hype train. I just think the SEC is going to kind of beat itself up a little bit this year. I really do. And I don't know if those teams after two and three are good enough to really have less than three losses. You know, I just, well, look, it's a math thing for me. Basically, if you assume that the Big Ten and the SEC are going to get three teams each. Okay, that's six spots. Then you've got the two other conference champions, the SEC and the Big 12. That's eight. Hold on a second. So you, three SEC and three Big Ten is what you started off with, right? Correct. So that's six. Okay. And then you've got the two other conference champs. That's eight. Then you've got the group five. That's nine. And then I'm going to say you got Notre Dame. That's ten. So you're saying the last two spots. That's what you've got left. Is it going to be the second place ACC team or the second place Big 12 team or is it going to be a fourth big ten or a fourth SEC? You know what I'm saying? That's why I don't think the Big Ten and it's a great point Vince. That's why I don't think the Big Ten and SEC both get four. Because the math you just laid out. Let's skim three. Okay. Yeah, I think they'll get my name is Kevin. You got the ACC champ, Big 12 champ, group of five champ. I do think a second SEC ACC or Big 12 team is going to get in. Right now, I have and I think there's a question about it. I actually have two ACC teams getting in right now. I could be wrong on that, but I do. Because part of it is, well, I'll wait till we get to that part of the show to talk about why. But, and then it's like, okay, does a fourth SEC team get in or does the fourth Big Ten team get in. And I think the way that the Big Ten, I think if I had to bet between the two right now, I'd probably go SEC right now. You know, like, so if I, you know, like I said, I hope sold it, but if I had to practically say I'd probably buy, then it would be that fair enough because you'd have to, because like, I don't think the Big Ten's great after the top two. And then you could go top three Penn State. Well, who's that for? Is it, is it USC? Is it Washington? Is it Michigan? Yeah, who's that fourth Big Ten team going to be fair? So then you'd have to get into, okay, for that, for there not to be a fourth SEC, then Notre Dame doesn't make it, or you'd have to have two, two each of from the Big 12 and the ACC. And I don't think that's going to happen either. Not saying it shouldn't. I'm just saying. I don't think it will. If Notre Dame doesn't make the playoff, then this is an absolute buy. They'll both have four. Yeah, agree. Yeah, agree. Clear screen, 25 buy, sell, hold the Notre Dame scoreboard operator will develop carpal tunnel syndrome by seasons and trying to keep up with Notre Dame's scoring by. They're going to put a lot of points on the board. You know what? I'm going to sell that because I don't want to wish physical injury on the scoreboard operator. But I think it'll be a, it'll be a risk. Yeah, risky proposition for it. It's funny. I like the question, though. I love it. That's a great way to ask if they're going to score a lot. Yeah, I do love it. That's a really fun way of doing it differently. Yes. Yes. Absolutely. I think the guy who does the video board part of the scoreboard is going to get carpal tunnel from having to replay all the amazing offensive plays that take place. Oh, there you go. J. G. Y. Town buy, sell, hold in the next two drafts. Notre Dame will have blank picked in the first round and the options are zero players, three players, or five players in the next two drafts. I'm buying the first round. I'm selling zero and I'll hold on five. Yeah, I'm definitely selling three. I'm definitely selling zero. So the next two drafts. I think really Riley Leonard is the only guy to me that I think has a shot this year. Yeah. No, no, I'm sorry. Benjamin Morrison. Benjamin Morrison's one because he's a corner. I think Riley Leonard is the only other guy with a shot to make it this year. I don't think Xavier Watts or, and I hope I'm wrong, which is unfortunate. Yeah, you're right. And then you look into next year. You know, you'll have maybe one of the offensive linemen, you know, maybe a Billy Shrout, although I don't think he's a first round pick until maybe fifth year senior's territory, if at all. Because again, to be a guard in the first round pick, you've got to be really freaking good like the guy who didn't get any individual awards. Yeah, but I mean he was top 10, but, but like just the way that the draft is like sure. Trying to think so you got Watts or me got Morrison you've got Riley Lynn or me and Riley Leonard is a potential I mean again Jeremiah love I don't see that just because of the way running back is treated. I don't see any tight ends I don't see any receivers. No D linemen. No linebackers. So, yeah, I'm going to buy I'm going to buy three and sell for the next two drafts it's hard for me to see no I'm getting the five, five big numbers five is a big number over two drafts if you would have said, especially since a lot of their best players are freshmen and sophomores sure. Yeah, that would be some of the most talented players are freshmen. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. (upbeat music) (upbeat music)
