Rapid Fire: Sam Hartman Touchdowns And Interceptions, Junior Tuihalamaka, Jim Harbaugh's Practice Plan

Rapid Fire starts with discussion on if we would be more surprised if Sam Hartman throws 40 touchdown passes or if he throws 15 interceptions this season.  Other topics include:

  • With 44 days to go until Notre Dame opens the season against Navy, we debate how many sacks and tackles for loss Irish No. 44 Junior Tuihalamaka will have this season.  * Jim Harbaugh created a unique practice schedule when he took over at Michigan a few years back. Could Notre Dame use the same format to speed the offseason progress of its young and inexperienced quarterbacks next spring? * The MLB Players Association wants the pitch clock rules loosened so they have more time between pitches and the ability to step off the rubber more in the postseason. Do we Buy or Sell that?
  • The NFL has told the New York Jets that they’re going to be the HBO Hard Knocks team this season. Meanwhile, Netflix just dropped a series called Quarterback...which followed Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins and Marcus Mariotta throughout last season. Which of those are we more interested in?  * Jerry Jones just sold the rights to a docuseries to Netflix for just under $50 million, It’s going to focus on the Cowboys rise to prominence in the early ‘90s and has already drawn comparisons to The Last Dance. On a scale of 1 to 10 how much are we looking forward to seeing it?
