Dr. Abby Miller is the Chief Medical Officer at UnitedHealthcare. She joins The Sheletta Show to talk about prioritizing preventative care as we approach another seasonal change. Dr. Miller talks about how many adults don’t have a primary care doctor. It’s so important to get into the doctor for all those necessary screenings as we age!
Alongside her role at UnitedHealthcare, Dr. Miller is an Adjunct Professor at the University of St. Thomas, mentoring aspiring healthcare professionals. Previously, Dr. Miller served as the Chief Medical Officer and Senior VP at PreferredOne. She excelled as a Physician Advisor during her 11-year tenure as a Hospital and Family Medicine specialist at St. John’s Hospital. She holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Minnesota Medical School, MBA from the University of St. Thomas and a Bachelor's Degree in Biology from the University of Minnesota Duluth.
