The college football season is at risk. After months of keeping our mouths shut on the topic, it's finally time that Vince DeDario and I (Bryan Driskell) let our voices be heard. In our latest show we discuss why this push to cancel the season, or move the season to the spring, is misguided and based more on emotion, feelings, fear and agendas than it is data and putting young people at greater risk.
We talk about the data and science behind the need to let them play, how players are actually at greater risk if they don't play, and what is really driving this push to end the season. And simply saying "Play in the spring" doesn't address anything, because what will change in the next four months?
