It's Nikki Haley, who's still in the GOP presidential race for Joe Biden. For President Joe Biden, it will be a test of the division in the Democratic Party over his support for Israel. As many Arab Americans who live in Michigan are planning protest votes, like writing in uncommitted campaign volunteer Varunda Patel. These are the same people that are so vocal about what's going on, so clearly they care. She says many Democrats aren't paying attention to the primary. In Detroit, voter Terry Johnson has this view. The latest now on actor Alec Baldwin's troubles. The AP's Marjis Areletta with this story. A date has been set for the involuntary manslaughter trial against actor Alec Baldwin. I'm Marjis Areletta with the latest. A judge in Santa Fe, New Mexico has called for jury selection to begin July 9th for Alec Baldwin's trial with opening statements the next day. The trial is expected to last eight days. In 2021, Baldwin was pointing a gun at cinematographer Helena Hutchins during a rehearsal for the movie Rust when the gun went off, killing Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza. The weapons supervisor on the movie, Hannah Gutierrez Reed, is currently on trial for involuntary manslaughter. The proceedings of that trial hold implications for Baldwin. He faces up to 18 months in prison if convicted. For C's, a Dutch court convicted 17 suspects today in the trial of an underworld gang that planned a string of killings. I'm Rita Foley, AP News.
