Today we'll have Tyler's July 4th Disney World trip. That's kind of fun for this episode 419 of WWE Prex, we go. Hello and welcome to WWE Reprobs ago, where we talk strategy and ideas for people playing their Disney World trips. I am your host Shannon Obert from wdwpropschool.com. Thank you for being here for episode 419, which happens to be another trip report before we get into that. Oh, as always, a reminder to follow on social media, especially Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok where we tend to be the most active. And if you want to be a trip report guest, like Tyler, the only way to do that is by using the SpeakBipe information, which is in the show notes of every single episode, basically just need to leave a voicemail with the details of your trip. And if we're interested in getting you booked, somebody in my team will reach out to you to do that. I also wanted to mention that I have previously said on here that we have an upcoming trip to Marceline and going to the Disney 100 exhibit in Kansas City. And I've had some podcast listeners reach out to say, hey, do you ever do like podcast meetups or anything like that? So I thought this would be a good time to mention that not only do we do meetups, but this entire Marceline trip is with patrons. We have about 30 people that are meeting in Marceline to do the tour of the city and museum and all that, as well as going to the Disney 100 exhibit. So we do a lot of meetups during every Disney World trip. I went to Nashville last year and met up with 10 or 12 patrons there. Heather has hosted patrons in her house. And I am going to be scheduling a patron meetup in the Dallas Fort Worth area in the near future as well. So we do a lot of meetups. It's just that it is focused on the patrons. It's one of the perks. So if you want more of that kind of in person sense of community, as well as having an online private Facebook group, then that is the way to go. In addition to all that, there is patron exclusive content going out multiple days per week, including a whole separate podcast that is super casual, that is me and Heather. And we're going to start a new series where I'm interviewing the patrons about their lives because there's a lot of interesting people out there. And as well as just the bonus content that is in addition to the main feed podcasts like the after chats and the video versions of the trip reports and things like that. So if you want to be a patron, please find the link to do that in the show notes as well. Today's episode is interview with Tyler. And I wanted to mention that I don't give the guests any guidance on how to do the trip reports or how to record the information during their trips. Nothing because I figure everyone's going to have their own way to do it. And so a lot of our guests are very data focused as am I. And so they will write down, you know, I got to this ride at this time and waited this amount of time and then I went here and I went there and it's very data driven. And I think that's super helpful because it gives people a good idea of, you know, how much time things take and how much they could fit into their trips and that kind of thing. Tyler is a different kind of guest where there's a lot of emotion around the plans. And I just really appreciated it because he is newer to planning trips. And he has that new energy that I feel like some of us that have been around a while kind of lose over time. So he is very fun to listen to. And I enjoyed listening to how his pre trip and post trip plans played out. So without any further ado, here are my chats with Tyler. Welcome to the podcast, Tyler. Hello. Hi. Good. You and I are talking on Tuesday, June 25th. And I'm assuming you have a trip coming out. Can you tell me, are you going to Disney World? I'm going to Walt Disney World in Florida. I lead on June 30th. Actually, this coming Sunday. Okay, June 30th. And before I hit record, you were saying that your first trip was in December. So this is your second trip. This is correct. Yes. This is my second trip. Our first back, our first trip back in December. We were just so loud by the whole experience that Disney had to offer. We're being park veterans, but we've never experienced that. At the expense of Disney year. Pretty amazing. Yes. It is a whole other level. And I feel like maybe you're hooked now. I'm really hooked now. And so is my bank account. So yeah, it is a whole budget. And it's like a hobby. Like part of your time gets dedicated to it. 100%. So if your trip starts June 30th, what does it go to? So it goes to the six. So we'll be there from Sunday to Saturday. You are not afraid of a holiday trip. No, the reason being is because these are the times I can get off of work. I'm a hairdresser. So it's like, it's hard to take random times off during the year. But we had this a lot of clothes from the 4th of July read and from after Christmas. And these are the times I travel in how crazy I am to do this. And I am mentally prepared for it. Yes. Your previous trip was the week, a few days between Christmas and New Year. So we were talking about how you had to be a planner for that. It was quite an experience, I must say. I was not prepared for how busy it was going to be. I knew it was going to be busy. But when I got there, I was like, oh my god, this is crazy. And we were up at 7 a.m. every morning booking that lightning lane up at 12 a.m. every night buying that Junie Plus, but we somehow managed to get a G plus for every ride. And it was pretty incredible. So the good news is that everything is probably going to pale in comparison to that in terms of crowd. I am totally unprepared now. You got it. Because I'm telling you, the summer travelers, they are not as savvy about like using Junie Plus and ordering some of these things. So you'll have a layup. So let's start with Sunday, June 30th. And are you driving or flying? So we're flying. We live in each other for New Jersey. So we live by New York City. So the closest airport to us is by EWR, which is more international. We're flying United. Our flight leave, I believe, at 11.23 a.m. And we'll probably get there around between, I think, around. I came into the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa for a little bit. Nice. And how are you getting from the airport to the Grand Floridian? Probably from via Uber. Last year, we will actually, previously in the summer, we decided to take one of those taxis, not having experience of really any airports. We are new flyers as well. So we took a taxi that was outside the airport. And the cost of the taxi was quite exponential. It was about $140 to take us from MCO all the way to the wilderness lodge. And I must say, the driver did not know how to drive. And I was holding on for a year, the entire time. Yeah, that is not good, especially for $140. No, it was crazy. You should have like expert level driving for that, right? Oh, about 100%. Okay, so you're going to the Grand Floridian. So you'll probably be there by dinner. Do you have plans to see me? Yeah, so when we get there, we'll probably just check in, settle in, unpack, unwind, enjoy our room a little bit. And we planned to head off to your Disney Springs for a couple hours. We missed that total thing. Last time, we landed pretty late. Now, it's pretty tired last time. So we just got a label in the room. But this time, I really love the opportunity to go and eat Disney Springs. And I'm a huge shopper. So I would like to look around and stop and go to the Disney shop and maybe buy a hundred pairs of ears for those. Well, you plan to see the internship? I was planning on it, absolutely. So we have reservations after Disney Springs at the California Grill at 7.30. I tried to get the latest time slot as possible. So it was possible to be the fireworks from our restaurant. But 7.15 was all they had. I couldn't believe I booked 60 days out. And there was no limited lots. Immediately when they opened, they went so quick. And I really think it was because of the time we're traveling. Yeah. People want to see the fireworks from there. Oh, yeah. And I've heard wonderful things about the California Grill. And I'm classably after we'll go see the Grand Show. Okay. Then maybe the Grand Show. And I forgot to ask, are you traveling with your partner? Yes, we are. We're traveling together. We're smiling. Got it. Okay. So now you're there. You have hopefully a good dinner at California Grill, maybe a drone show. What is Monday, July 1st? Well, Monday, July 1st, we're actually not doing a Disney park that day. We are doing the world, actually, that there were huge thrill seekers. We love roller coasters. We did Universal a couple of years ago, and we did rely on Universal. But after we sit on Disney property, we're like, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah." Disney property. So much money. So Ben's Universal. So we're going to do the world for that day. And we're probably going to dine in the park as well. We're going to do as well a dolphin encounter while we're there. And we also bought the quick cues for the day. So we won't be winning in any of the lines there. And I know their system is a little bit easier than Disney's system. I'm just skipping the lines for that fact. Okay. And so does that complete your Monday, July 1st then? Pretty much. So probably, yeah, that's the hotel menu. EPCOT is actually doing extended evening hours that night, I believe. So we get back early enough. We'll rest a little bit. I would love to get a chance to go over to EPCOT and marathon guardians of the dogs as much as I possibly. That would be fun. So I know that we only get to like 20 minutes or so during extended evening hours. That would be an awesome opportunity to do that. Getting that virtual cue is almost impossible also. Yes. And you don't have to pay for individual lightning lean or anything. No, absolutely. But we do plan on swerving on every individual lightning when you do the hard pop. So we're really going through this, but we have a certain budget, but we try to go pretty much just let it flow because I think that's just the way to do Disney, right? And that's the way to in mind. Yeah, well, it certainly makes it easier. So on that topic, you said you're planning to get individual lightning lanes. So that means you're planning to get jay plus and all of that. Every day. Okay. And this is one of the last times we're going to get to use these terms because today they just announced everything's changing. I am not actually I was like, well, that's interesting. July 24th and start saying to both the days in advance. So that's like really interesting. I'm kind of curious to see how that played out. That's how it used to work in the before in the before time. So kind of excited about that. Because because the ability to book things and you get to pick your times, so you could, you know, you're your dying reservations and you can pick your ride times. That's that that works better. Yeah, that's fine. And honestly, planning so far in advance, I feel like it was so much more useful because you know what to do. Very good. You know what you're expected to do when you buy that genie bus, I feel like it's very unpredictable and buying it. And it's almost not an insurance policy that you're going to get on every ride in the digital bus. Yes, so yes, lots to learn before it launches. But I think it's going to be good long term. But you're going to still be working in this system that you have learned. Yes, yes, yes, yes. So you have one more time to put that knowledge to use. So to say July's second. So to say July's second, I'm looking at our itinerary right now. It looks like we're going to be doing animal kingdom, rope dropping probably early in the morning, and we're probably going to be per copying that day. And we're going to buy both lightning lanes for lighted passage and guardians of the galaxy that day. Okay, so you're hopping up. And then try to hop on the virtual queue again for guardians. So we can get on twice. Okay, so safe to say that you went on guardian on your last trip and you liked it. It was actually one of the best roller coaches I've ever been on in my opinion. It was just so it's thrilling, but not who's thrilling, but enough to your blood pumping, the graphics, the screens, it's so immersive. I have never experienced that in my life on a roller coaster. I love it. I love your fresh energy for these things. I don't like the new Disney adult energy over here. No, it's fun. Your energy is the reason I like doing single rider lines sometimes because it puts me next to someone who it's their first time maybe. And so it's so it's like, I've done things so many times that it's not about my enjoyment all the time. It's about watching other people. So I think that's fun. Boy, one hundred percent. Like you're like the smiles people get and the reactions are products less sometimes. That's that's right. So on this day where you're doing animal kingdom and hopping to upcocks, do you have anything else to mention? Do you have any diem reservations? Absolutely. So that day we're actually going to be, we missed a lot of rides the last time you were at Animal. We actually missed the Pillimanjaro Safari. So we'll probably be doing that. We missed a Navi River journey. So I would love to do that. I picked up a million dollars and which one I said everybody talks about is really worthwhile. I really like to go see that. All right, we have no particular dining reservations. Actually, that day we'll probably grab a snack and on we'll clean down one of my favorite snacks over there is the Buffalo chicken chips. I don't know if anybody's ever tried those, but they're out in this world. And I've been craving them ever since. And then we'll be park hop over to EPCOT. We'll probably be there until dinner. So we'll probably just eat around the world, grab a couple snacks, maybe and drink a little meal. I'm just going to roll with it that day, honestly. There's no dining reservations in play. So yeah. Okay. And what about? We actually missed a few rides too. We missed our journey in some imagination. We missed mission and space, which I'm a little hesitant about because I've heard a lot of people not feel so great after, but we miss Remy. We miss Station Earth. And that's about it for a crop. Well, you have a lot to catch up on it. Oh, yes, we did 100%. Okay. So then Wednesday, July 3rd. Wednesday, July 3rd, we actually are going to be rope dropping Hollywood Studios. We really are not great people. We just keep going. We're going because that's just in our blood. We'll probably be breaking in between parks at certain hours, but we're going to do a park every day. So yeah, so we'll be rope dropping Hollywood Studios very early and we'll try to go on rising resistance. We're going to get the lightning lane for that. And then possibly do Tower of Terror, which is my favorite unfortunately, rock and rollercoaster won't be open when we go, but I am totally cool with that. It's a great ride, but there's so much more that they need us to offer Hollywood Studios. So we've planned to go see Beauty and the Beast, and we also didn't do the Millennium Falcon last time. So here we go. Well, at 10.30 a.m. that way, we'll probably take the bus back to the Carling Eastern, and we have a 10.30 a.m. reservation at Aurora. Okay. So we got a jam-packed morning, that morning. Yes. So you're going to go do all these rides and then go to O'Hanna at 10.30. I like how you said I'm taking the bus because I always ask about the transportation, but going from the parks to the resort, I mean to the yes, the resort is pretty easy, the resort to resort I get. So we're about to get so confusing. The last time we were in, we were seeing at Wilderness Lodge, we had reservations at the Yachtman Steakhouse, and I was so confused on how to get Yachtra from Wilderness Lodge. And I asked everybody, and everybody was like, quite frankly, I don't know, but the best way to do it is go to one of the parks and we'll take your, their bus or boats and the resort. And that's what we did, and it's totally figuring it out, but it's a journey. You know, it's totally a journey. Yeah. I think that whole boardwalk area is kind of an advanced level knowledge because it's so hard to get there. But hopefully what you just said totally works, take a bus from the theme parks. And I think what we did last time, we took a bus to how we went studios, and then we hopped on the bow to the Yacht Club. That worked soon. That was such a pretty bow ride. I would have preferred that any day. Even if it took a little bit longer, I just thought the journey of it was fun. Yes, and the Skyliner, another option. That is another thing we did not do. Our last trip, we did not get a chance to ride the Skyliner, and I'm definitely doing it. Bye. We only had a few days on your last trip. So, and it was like one of the busiest weeks of the year. So, it's hard to fit it all in. Absolutely. What? What is after Ohana? So, after Ohana Republic and the breaking at the hotel for a little bit, the digester food, and just chill out, I would say by the pool, I do have a pedicure reservation at the Graham's already in Spa. I'm not sure if I'm going to keep it yet or get rid of it, because depending on how hot it is, we might want to hop over to Taco Lagoon that day. Enjoy a couple hours over there before we go back to Hollywood studios at night. That is going to be a little bit full day if you do all of that. Absolutely. Absolutely. We're very ambitious people, but we really tend to get everything done in the day. I don't know how to do it. Um, youthful energy. I'm just going to chalk it up to that. Um, okay. So, after time with the Graham's food, and you might go to the Graham's tech family doing it, and then you said you're going back to Hollywood studios. Yeah. Yeah. It's possible. It's possible. If we're a little too tired, we'll go back to Hollywood just another day for a little bit. There's not too much to do in Hollywood to use. I feel like, I mean, there's a lot to do, but we covered a lot of the ground by some of the red Hollywood all day there last time, and really only missed a couple of the shows and the Millennium Falcon. So as long as we get to do those things, we're set for Hollywood studios and the tower where I believe it's our guitar at least. Yes. I think you will probably be able to do it. There's only eight rides open in Hollywood studios. So plus the shows, which are a whole other thing, but okay. So that's that. And then with Ohana, what made you want to go to Ohana? Is it that you want to meet Stitch? Do I have to probably stitch his last favorite character? I read Disney movie Lilo and Stitch. It was like, I used to do it at Disney all the time as a kid, but going as an adult was very different. My memory is very vague when I was a kid. But when I do remember if as a child, we stayed at the Polynesian one time and did the Ohana breakfast actually twice during one of our trips. And it was such a fond memory I had, and I would love to go back and relive that moment for my adulthood and just kind of bring back all those good memory. There's a special place for me there 100% and the music and the ambient and the Polynesian resort is absolutely incredible. So I want to go. Yes. Lots of good reasons to go there. Totally. Totally. Totally. Okay. So are we ready to move on to July 4th? So what's there? July 4th is a fun day actually. So life work is actually our magic kingdom day. Oh, I forgot to mention on July 3rd as well. I'm reading the wrong itinerary. Great. I apologize. We changed it around. We will be doing extended evening hours at night on July 3rd at magic kingdom 11 to 1 a.m. That's what we're doing at like. Okay. So instead of going back to all of these, you'll be doing magic. I'm so sorry. I apologize for that. Okay. But July 4th, we'll be back at magic kingdom and we're definitely 110% going to try to genie bus and everybody could guess. Yeah, his body would remember that is our must to attract for more. We didn't cover a lot of ground bus time in magic kingdom, but we missed a couple of things. We missed jungle crews, which I couldn't believe we missed that last time. The last time we were there, the way I think was about 120 minutes and we couldn't get the genie for it. It was impossible. That's definitely a must. The many adventures of Winnie Poe, we would love to do. We miss spell our magic and we miss Peter plot last time. For those who definitely must do a catch it was. Yeah, I mean, there's a lot going on at kingdom. Yeah. And for the amount of ground we covered in one day at magic kingdom the last time you were there, I was very proud of myself. It's it we were there from we got there maybe at 8 a.m. almost at road truck, maybe a little bit after and we were there till about five. We took a little bit break when back to the resort and then we came back and finished the park if you were there for about one day. Wow. Long long long days is a long day for us, but absolutely incredible at furry. So on on July 4th, you are going to prioritize tianas as well as some of the things that you didn't guess to you last time. Totally. Totally. And then Franklin Lane, Seven Dwarfs, and Phon as well. I am anxiously awaiting what you're going to say about the evening. I know. I am so I've never been to extended evening hours before. On July 4th? Oh, I'm sorry, July. So we'll be there for the evening on July 4th as well. So they're called the fireworks there. I am so beyond excited because I've heard so many amazing things about the July 4th fireworks, I imagine Kingdom. I've heard they're just unbelievably magical and probably gratitude to your I bridge. I won't be the one crying in the crowd because I always am. They're they're big. They're so big. Whereas like the normal fireworks are so focused on the catful, right? Yeah, it's just big. And that didn't come up all the day. Do you have a strategy because a lot of people will be wanting to watch those fireworks? You know, I don't break out. I didn't really think about that part advanced, but well, I do know that if it is too crowded and we feel too clustered, I do have a few park room, you know, from the ground floor. I was thinking possibly maybe watching them from our balcony at the ground floor already, and so that's a possibility as well. But I would really love to be there in the moment. So I will say that although the space in front of the castle is going to be the most busy, as it always is for fireworks, you don't have to be there. So that's the good news for this. You're not going to miss anything if you step back. Okay, this is good. This is good information because that's why I got that theme for a view of room. I want that chance to see those fireworks also renamed. There's something that touches my heart about it. But being in that magic kingdom all the time during those crowds, it gets a little tough. I'm not going to lie. On downside about those fireworks. Once those fireworks are done, takes you about 25 minutes through that crowd and back into the song of things. Yes, if you plan to leave afterwards, I would consider watching from the front of the park. Yeah. And then leaving. And because you're at the Grand Authority, you can walk. You can take a boat. You can take the money. You have so many options. Well, that isn't that's another thing too. We have the monorail access to the Grand Authority. And I know this sounds crazy, but I didn't even know that either. When I booked the Grand Authority and I thought them all for some reason, they only saw the monorail only once they come temporary in the party. And then I was like, wait a minute, it goes to the Grand Authority and like, this is great. So I'm glad we have all that access as well. Yeah. I feel like you were having a flashback to when the park opens. And those were the only two years, but the Grand Authority is right there and you have multiple options. And we have the, I think the boat goes there as well. So yeah, yeah, we have a lot of transportation options. So possibly now that I'm thinking about it and now that you tell me there, it is, I will probably watch fireworks in my room. So I think that's how I get to go. Or or just the front of the park. I, I wouldn't say I have the most crowd anxiety, but those fireworks crowds do something to me, especially when everybody is leaving. That's where I don't, I start to get really anxious. Actually, that early thing, I feel panicky, like I can't get out of the situation. And when I can't do that and I don't have access to that, I immediately, with my anxiety immediately. Yes. I try to avoid that as much as possible. One of my frustrations with Disney as someone who's been doing this for 20 years is that the old fireworks used to be big. And so you could watch it from so many places and then they just started making them smaller and smaller and smaller. And I'm saying smaller to mean like the viewing area because they're relying so much on those projections, but you could only see the projections if you're close to the castle. That's the thing. That's so frustrating. Like, why wouldn't you want more people to be able to see it? I agree 100% because when I was a kid, the last time I seen the fireworks, they were, don't get me wrong. Christmas fireworks were, oh my god, they were unbelievable. But when I was a kid, I remember them being so much more grand and exciting. Not that they're not exciting now, but bigger. I remember them so much bigger when I was a kid. When I seen them in person narrow, I was like, wow, I was like, it was slightly underwhelming, but I still had a great thought. Yeah. I think you will get that. I think you'll get that on the July 4th fireworks. Totally. Totally. Okay. So what are you thinking for a Friday, July 5th? Friday, July 5th, it looks like we're going to be going to typhoon lagoon for most of the day. And just chilling out and relaxing. I've never been to a Disney water park before, so this is a very first train. And so excited for this. You were debating actually during the H2O glow. Wednesday, I wasn't 100% on that. I just love being in the sun and being in the water park when it's warm and the sun hitting me, the whole vibe of it. I wouldn't probably like it at night time, but I'm going to be there during the day. Yeah. And when I had Heather Felicia on to talk about their trip, that was one thing that Felicia really emphasized, was that she really likes being in the sun. I do not. I prefer, because I'll get burnt. I have high partner too, my partner's very pale, so being in the fun for a little bit of time can really quite impact. You're going to go test it out. It's I from lagoon. Totally. Totally. Totally. So you said that's most of the day. So is there anything else? Absolutely. So we'll be there for most of the day. I actually do hyper reservation that night at five o'clock. It's a surprise to my partner. It's actually his birth day on July 2nd. I tried to get the reservation on July 2nd, but nothing was open at that time I wanted. We'll be also doing Cinderella's Royal Table at Magic Kingdom as well. So so five o'clock, Cinderella's Royal Table for his birthday. Yeah. Yeah. And then I'll probably from rope drop at Titan Lagoon to like four, most of the day, we'll be at Titan Lagoon, go back teams, and I just let over some magic kingdom. That will be really, really fun. I know I'm so excited for that. I've never dined. I've heard so many wonderful things about Cinderella's Royal Table. I was actually debating exploring and doing Victoria and Albert's, but then I really thought about the price tag, and I was like, I agree. I don't want to do that. Or do I want to save that money for something else? And I decided to save that money for something else and do something else. The terrain number is amazing, but if you want to keep going, you'll have plenty of opportunity to do that. That'll be an excellent thing for sure. I think I think Cinderella's Royal Table is sort of a must do. Well, at least once. I agree. And I hear mixed reviews about it, but I don't know how to go wrong. I mean, you're with all the fabulous Disney princess. We're all this castle. We've had good experiences there in the last year. So I'm just going to assume that you will too. I think I'd certainly want one bigger. And that'll be a fun birthday. I think so too. I think I don't know if they do anything like Bethel or the birthdays, but. You can certainly say you can certainly call Disney and have it noted on your reservation. And when you check in, they just don't do as much as they used to. So yeah, I feel like, you know, as much as you'd pay for Disney some time, just like you would think. Yeah, but you can mention it and see if anything. Totally. I actually did call Disney today. And I mentioned to them, I would like a higher floor. Because I'm not a huge fan of, for some reason, I never loved the Broward floor in a hotel. I always like the higher floors that had about me to go out and overlook everything. And I like to see all like perspectives of my view. So I was a higher flooring woman said no problem on phone. Everybody I speak to at Disney is very pleasant. Very nice. We have lots of resources. Yes. Hopefully it will be a good birthday day. And you'll get the room that you wanted and all of the things will come true. Is Saturday, July 6th, do you have anything planned or is that just a departure day? So that's just sort of the car today. We'll probably be leaving around looking right nine, fifteen-ish or flight leaves. I'll go and then go, I think in the morning. And we'll probably get back around then like two o'clock or so and we'll go over back home and we'll probably have a Disney group. You're just, you're ready to stay based on everything. We're all recently, mentally prepared by software with Disney. So a little bit, a little bit. Yeah, you just, you did just give me a little bit of anxiety about your timing with an 11 o'clock flight. Do you have a CSA pre-chat? Yes, we are actually, we're clear. So, okay. That helps. Very, it's very easy. We're, anytime we go to the Air Corps, we're always there so early. We're waiting there for like maybe an hour or so. I'm like, we should have come in a little bit later. He never hit lines with the clearing. No, you don't. And I don't think about it. And I always have this shop. Now I don't have so much of the airport anxiety. That's kind of society. A little bit with the airport anxiety going through TSA is a little high sometimes. Yeah. Yes, yes, yes. I'm usually two hours early at the airport and I also have a CSA pre-chat, but just a kid. Maybe that's a good idea. That's what, that's me. Some people don't like to have all that time to wait. Well, I've never had that time to miss a flight. Yeah. I, my reward is my favorite Starbucks order. So if I get through TSA pre-chat, mobile or that Starbucks order, and that's my reward for getting there. That's awesome. That's awesome. That's awesome. And then I don't worry about it. So, okay. All right. Well, is there anything in your plans that we haven't talked about yet? I don't think so. I think they pretty much covered all aspects of my trip and I hope it sounds amazing. Yes, it sounds good to me. So I will talk to you when you get back in July and see how it all went. I am so excited. Thank you so much, Charon. You've heard of Pizza Hut $7 deal lovers menu, right? We all have somewhere we're trying to get to. As the largest energy producer in Colorado, Chevron is working to responsibly meet rising energy demand so everyone can get to where they want to be. You've arrived. That's Energy in Progress. Visit chevron.com/tankless. Welcome back from your trip, Tyler. How are you? Good. You've actually been back for a little while, about 10 days. How? How did it go? It was the best experience I've ever had. Really? Yeah, we really had a wonderful time. I was so happy with everything we planned. Now mind you, the things we did plan, a lot of things changed in accordance of events, but I feel like that's the beauty of a Disney trip is sometimes things aren't just going to go as planned and you last minute do something else. That's why we do the pre-trip, so we can compare. Exactly. Okay, let's start walking through it because you told us that on Sundays, June 30th, you were flying from Newark to Orlando in the afternoon. Yeah, that is correct. So our flight was supposed to leave at 11/23. It was about an hour delayed. We probably took off around 1210 maybe and going there, we were as we were edging close to Orlando. They shut down the Orlando airfield because there was severe thunderstorms over Orlando and they wouldn't land the plane. So we were just going around in circles in the air for about, I want to say an hour. Did you see Disney World at any point? We were circling. You were flying around the beach. I'm like, oh, I think we're getting closer. Oh no, that's the same beach I saw before. I think we were close to like, I don't know. I want to say Palmby. I don't know where we were, but I was trying to look for Disney the whole time because I had a window seat and I didn't see it. I was like, I should have seen Disney. Yeah, you would think and all that time maybe. I know. And we finally landed maybe around 3.30. So it was a lot longer of a flight than it usually takes to get to Orlando from EWR. It usually only takes around two hours and 30 minutes maybe, but it was taking up about like three and a half hours. So almost like a four hour flight we were in the air. So when we landed though, I was so happy. I was like, thank God we're finally in MCO. And I feel like you know, you're officially there when you walk that green carpet in the airport and the smells of the Disney shops. I was like, I'm so happy right now. And then after that, after we landed, we waited for a luggage, which that was delayed as well. So this wasn't really starting off very well, but it was totally fine as we were waiting. This is a cute little story. I met this little girl and a family. And she just comes up and starts talking to me. And she's showing me all these little skateboards that she made, these little tech decks. I asked her if she was going to Disney. And she said, yes, I am. And I asked her, you're like, you're like, I'm a magician. How did I know? Right? So she gives me this little skateboard. And she's like, I always want you to remember me and remember this story because later on in the interview, she will come up again. It's very ironic, actually. That is funny. Is it like a finger skateboard? Yeah, it's like one of those tech deck things. Yeah, okay. And it was all decked out and stitched and stitches my favorite character and our favorite character. So we really like just head it off. And it was it was cute. It was it was honestly, and made it up for being delayed for hours. I wrote it down in case you forget. So we'll circle back to perfect. Perfect. And so I assumed your bags eventually came out. Our bags eventually came out. I was getting a little nervous because I was like, what if they lost our bags? And but then I realized as I was looking around me, I'm like, oh, this is everybody from our flight. So if everybody's bag is missing, that's an issue. That would be a nightmare. Yeah, absolutely. But think that wasn't the scenario. So did you get rideshare to Grand Floridian at that point? Yes, that is correct. We got an Uber. It was about, I think I was about, it was pretty expensive. It was about 65 bucks to get to, we were saying at the Grand Floridian. So it was $65 to go to the Grand Floridian. I was getting a little nervous because we really wanted to do Disney Springs before our dinner reservation, which was at 710. But we did not arrive at the hotel till at least 510. There was a lot of traffic going there. So unfortunately, our Disney Springs clan kind of fell out. But no worries, we had a full week to look forward to. And I tried to just keep a positive mindset about that. And I knew we had the dinner reservation. So I was really looking forward to that. Yeah. So did you get a text that your room is ready in the afternoon at some point? I did. So actually, right up when I landed, it told me the room was ready. And I was like, oh my God, we're not even close to being there yet. And I wasn't nervous or anything because I know nothing would happen. But I was like, it's okay, the room was ready early, but no big deal, no big deal. But we got to the Grand Floridian around like 510. We checked in, we had a really, I forgot his name. I think his name was Robert. He worked at the Grand Floridian. He was at the lobby front desk. And he was just telling all these spectacular details about our room. And he was saying, what a great room we had. And must I say, boy, did we have the most spectacular room at the Grand Floridian? Tell me about it. We had a theme park view. We were on the fourth floor and we were in the new DBC villas. And they were absolutely beautiful. I was no sweet or anything, but the whole fireworks view was just unbelievable. And just hearing the boats and all the ambiance around the area really just made you feel like you were a part of Disney in that moment. You're finally, you had arrived. Yes, I was just so happy. We just as soon as I walked in the room, I looked right out on the balcony. You seen the contemporary, straight across from us. All in the Asian was on the right. And then looked like I could have touched Cinderella's castle. That's how close it was. I couldn't believe how close we were to the Magic Kingdom. It was pretty amazing. So then you had enough time to make it to the California girl? We did. So we had a very interesting experience here, actually. We had a 710 reservation at the California girl. So we just relaxed a little bit in the room. We both showered, got changed, because we wanted to get that plane ick off. I don't know if anybody else feels like that. We took them on a rail to the contemporary. We arrived there a little early, maybe around seven o'clock. We got the confirmation that our table was ready at 710. We walk up, they bring us up on the elevator. That was really interesting how the California girl has its own separate elevator. I thought that was pretty cool. And it takes you all the way up to the 15th floor. We arrived. They seated us. And we kind of were sitting there for a really long time. You were sitting there for about maybe 30 minutes without a server even coming to acknowledge us or... What the heck? Yeah. So I was looking around and this guy, the server, I didn't know his name. And I don't think I want to say his name because it just didn't seem like he fit into the Disney cast members status because he was ignoring us the entire time. It's so unusual because if I had to name the place that I've had the best service, it would be there and a lot of the staff, not that I don't believe, but a lot of the staffs been there for like 10, 15 years. Yeah. So I said something to somebody and the manager immediately came over. This is where we got the best service anywhere. I was very nice. I'm a very nice person and I acknowledge. We've been sitting here for a little bit. I'm sorry to bother you. I know you guys are busy, but we just need a server. Immediately, the server comes, brings free drinks, free malt cocktails, and we really had a really wonderful dinner there. The food was outstanding. So besides the waiting the 30 minutes was completely worth it. Yeah, but like just remember that this was 745 that you're looking for a server. So it's already pretty late. It was. You'd be having dinner? It was. And we really wanted to see the drone show too with Disney Springs that night. And I knew that wasn't going to happen either because our dinner was already going to run into the fireworks that were happening. But we did really have a wonderful experience. We did. And the manager was super apologetic. He gave me his business card and yeah, we ended up having a good experience there. I would back for sure. Good. And with the timing of you being there, did you get to see fireworks? So we debated. We were like, do we want to go to our balcony into the fireworks or do we want to stay here? Because we ended dinner probably around 850 and it was cutting it close to the fireworks. And I was like, well, if we hop on the monorail, I feel like we can get back to the hotel in time and see the fireworks from our balcony. So we hopped on the monorail to back to the Grand Floridian and we hop to our room. I think it was like nine, ten and we're running to our room and that resort is so huge. So your room is not close. Especially with the monorail station. Yeah, exactly. All the way on the other end. So we were running all the way to our room. And we watched the fireworks from our balcony that night and wow how magical. It didn't matter every day that was fireworks or magical. I never got tired of them. Never. And I cried every single time. Vibe I get talking to you is the same vibe I get when I ride single rider next to a first timer. I hope that's a good thing. No, no, it is. It's the enthusiasm that is so fun to witness. I mean, Disney is really a place like no other. There's no place for you. You can forget all your troubles and you're just happy all the time. Yeah. I just I think that when you've been around a long time, you hear a lot of complaints because people think I liked it better that way or I like it this. You know what I mean? So there's a lot of like complaining, but you have that like fresh enthusiasm for everything that I love. I'm so glad I'm so glad. But we also found on the TV channel that we could sync the music to the fireworks show. And then I knew there was a way because I knew I seen somewhere that somebody turned on the TV and you can listen to the music and the fireworks at the same time. So I didn't even care who is next to me. That music was full volume all the way up. So the entire fourth floor could hear what was happening. Listen, maybe they were tuned in too. Exactly. I mean, if you have fireworks for you, what's the point? You know, you got to use it. Totally. Okay. Well, this sounds like a pretty great first day. Amazing first day. And the next day was Monday, July 1st. And you were headed outside of Disney World to start the day. Yes. So this was interesting too. So we actually decided I know this isn't part of the podcast usually, but we actually decided to take a day trip to SeaWorld. So we decided to take an Uber from the Grand Floridian to SeaWorld. It was about a 25 minute ride and it cost about $36. We bought just general admission tickets. They were about $60 each. The quick queue was about $125 each. So yeah, the quick queue was really expensive. I feel like we need to compare different fast-pass systems. Oh, totally. Deside curiosity. Totally. Because they all cost kind of the law. And people, I will say this, I'm a theme park veteran. Every time I go to a theme park, I am a fast-pass user. I buy it. The people that complain about Disney fast-pass prices have no idea how much more expensive fast passes are outside of Disney. They range anywhere between $100 to $200 a person. And considering Disney's is only $29 a person, you're getting a pretty good deal out of that. I think it's just $29 is more than zero. I agree. I agree. Totally. I think that's the issue. That's the issue. That's exactly why does he change the name because they think somehow you're not going to know. Fast-pass list was free, Jenny plus cost money. Okay. But you're right. It is a lot less expensive than most places. They were very sneaky about that. But yeah, it's very expensive, the fast-pass at SeaWorld. Granted, did we really need it? It did buy us a lot of time because we got there around 10 a.m. And there was one ride I was a little scared of, so we decided to do that. It was a flying coaster called Manta. You lay on your stomach, they raise you up on your stomach, and it takes you up about 135 feet into the air. And it was pretty intense. It was really scary for our first ride, but I really enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun. David, on the other hand, was holding on for dear life and couldn't wait for it to be over. Much more intense than Disney rides. Oh, 100%. These rides are pretty extreme. We rode another ride called Mako. That's their Bogur Mabyard hypercoaster. That means it goes over 200 feet. You drop down, you go over a couple airtime hills. That was a very graceful, fast ride. As crazy as it sounds, it was probably their Hey, Mr. Ride, I would say there. And then we both got on their newer edition called Pipeline Surf Coaster. And that's where you stand up on the roller coaster. And your seats have hydraulics on them. They go up and down. So your feet kind of come off the ground sometimes. That was a pretty cool experience. It made you feel like you were surfing a little bit. We got on another roller coaster. It was like a family launch coaster. Icebreaker launched back and forth a couple times and goes over this big hill and round these turns. That was cool. Cracking. That was, I called a hunk of junk. It was just really rough and really rattly and gave me quite a headache. And there, one signature ride we did was Journey to Atlantis, which I thought was pretty well themed for Sea World Ride. It was a water coaster slash log flume. I would say, I wouldn't compare it to Tiana's or anything, but it's somewhere along those lines. And that was probably their best water ride there, for sure. So it sounds like some pretty good rides. And as a theme park guy, I'm sure that's what you were after. But also, you also got to do Dolphin Encounter? Yes, we did. So we did a Dolphin Encounter, which that was pretty expensive too. For both of us, that was about $150 for both of us to do. But it was a wonderful 30-minute experience. You do not get this from a them, but you get to feed them and touch them and play with them. And they splash you and do some really cool tricks. And it was a really, really hot day that day. So getting splashed by the Dolphins, I really didn't even care that a little fish water was on me. Would you do that again? Oh, totally. That was very, that was very worth it. Now, would I go back to SeaWorld again? I think it's a one and done for me. I liked it, but I wouldn't go back at all. And as someone who does a lot of different theme parks, how would you rank it, I guess, in terms of the rides? So the rides are thrilling. There's not a lot of, if you're a family and you're coming here for the rides, it's really not a great option for you. A lot of these roller coasters are very dynamic, very thrilling. I don't think any one of them goes slower than 50 miles an hour. So if you don't like that kind of thing, I wouldn't recommend SeaWorld. And another thing I'll bring up about SeaWorld is how expensive everything was when I was there. And you can't bring in your own water like you can too in Disney. So I had to buy a cup and everywhere I went to go to refill the water, the water was absolutely disgusting. And I went to try to maybe get a sprite out of one of the concession stands and the sprite tasted like flat, seltzer water. And then we decided to get a little lunch while we were there because we were starving. David got a $15 hot dog that was all crumbled up and looked like it was two days old and it was pretty terrible. And I got a pretzel, which I didn't think you could mess up, but that was $18 and that was even worse. And an $18 pretzel. An $18 crappy pretzel. That is a lot. That was pretty depressing. So at that point, it was probably about $3.30 and we both had enough. The heat really got to us that day. I think it was like $95 that day with matching humidity. The sun was out all day. And then it's a bummer when it happens. Yeah, the sun was out all day. I was actually praying it would rain a little bit that day, but it's fine. We were just done. So we decided to Uber back to the Grand Floridian, which was $35, which wasn't terrible. And this is an ongoing theme with us. We got there and I was absolutely starving. So we had a late lunch at Dasparillas. That was probably one of my favorite places I ate a whole Disney trip. That place was unbelievable, no matter what you got there. And it's right at your hotel. And it was right at our hotel. It was so convenient. I believe I got the chicken fingers and neck and cheese. I wasn't eating very healthy, by the way, on this trip. So don't judge me. No judgment. Your trip. You do what you want. And David, I think just got a side of french fries and we just ate a little bit and we actually had an Instacart delivery that was supposed to come on Sunday. But since we arrived so late, I really didn't have time to pick up the delivery. And by the time I rescheduled it on Monday, I had a little bit of issues with the delivery. They couldn't find any drivers within the area to deliver my order. I probably will never do Instacart again with this. But somebody else told me about a really amazing recommendation called either the Kroger delivery service or a small business called vacation delivery service. And they'll deliver right to your hotel room. And I'll probably go through them next time. I just didn't have, I didn't give them enough notice this time around. I tried to get an order in and I was a little too late to that game. We have an article about grocery delivery that I will link, but Kroger is the one that I use as well. And what's confusing about that is that they don't have Kroger stores in Florida. No, that's what's so confusing. I'm like, wait a minute. But they do have delivery, so. That's awesome. Okay, that's going to be definitely my next time. But other than that, we just walked around the resort a little bit, toured it a little bit. I really wanted to see the upstairs where the enchanted roses and where Victoria Alberts is. Um, they have another restaurant. See, trickos, I think it's trickos. The trickos, yes. Um, so we seen that, uh, and then we walked around and everybody was raving about this restaurant and the grandfather being called narcoses. So I originally had a reservation at Cinderella's table on that Friday. So I canceled that for David's birthday and I made the reservation for eight, 15 on his birthday at narcoses instead because I thought that was just a better birthday flare for him. And then after I, oh, God, I was going to ask if you were able to make it to Epcot extended evening theme park hours. Well, honestly, we were so exhausted from the heat. I think I really didn't feel well after SeaWorld. I don't know if it was all the crazy rides I did mixed with the heat and a little bit of dehydration. I really just wanted to stay in that night. So we did not get a chance to do the evening hours, which is fine. Totally cool. Um, we just ate dinner in our room. We saw the water pageant go across a couple times. Um, I really enjoyed that every night. They went around like three times every night and that was probably the highlight of my night every night, including the fireworks too. And we watched the fireworks that night too around 920. So that was a good, it was an eventful, good day, just very hot. Um, and I like SeaWorld, but I wouldn't go back. Okay. Um, the next day was Tuesday, July 2nd, you have plans to do a mix of inward kingdom and Epcot. Oh, yes. This is, this day went really well to plan. Um, so we purchased the Gini Plus or midnight that night. Um, and at seven a.m. we made our first selections and we bought the individual lighting lane for avatar and guardians of the galaxy. Um, I was so excited for that, by the way. Um, I knew this was going to be a good day. And this was also David's birthday. And I was just in such a great mood this day. I was in a good mood every day, but I was in an especially great mood this day because I love celebrating his birthday. Um, and it was also your first time this trip in a Disney park. Like, I hadn't been into the park show. Exactly. Exactly. So this was like, this was, I knew this is the official start to the Disney theme park trip. Um, we bus from the Floridian to Animal Kingdom around, we got up at really early this morning, we got up at like, I got up at 530, David was up at like 630. We caught the bus at 7 a.m. Um, and we broke drop there around 730 a.m. And walked right on to Nabi River Journey. We did the standby queue for that. We, there was nobody in there. We were the only ones in the boat. And that was my first time doing Nabi River Journey. And I must say that there's a super underrated ride. I thought that was an amazing ride. The, the detail, the immersiveness, the everything about it. I loved it. I loved it. It's pretty. It's so pretty. I think it's more enjoyable when you don't have to wait. I wouldn't wait for it. That is a good point. Yes. For it. No. So while everybody else is going to fly to passage, you went to Nabi, which is a great plan and a good reason to buy the lightning lane for a flight of passage. Exactly. Totally. So we did the Nabi, loved it. Um, and then we had a genie plus at 810 for the safari. Um, before the safari, um, David didn't have his coffee yet. And I know he is a coffee person. So we stopped into the Starbucks and got him a cup of coffee and a little breakfast sandwich because we had a few minutes before our genie plus. Was that line long? No. Actually, not at all. I think we probably waited maybe five minutes in the start. Not bad. Sometimes the Starbucks locations have the longest line. That's what I know. I forgot where I was and the Starbucks line looked like it was, it was longer than the frozen ride. I was like, what's happening? It's true. That's why I asked because I was just curious, you know, what it looked like. I was actually really shocked with how short that line was because right as I walked it, there was like nobody in Animal Kingdom this morning. I was actually really shocked. The park was pretty empty. Um, we had our Starbucks. We just sat there and looked around a little bit. There was some monkeys in front of us. So we were watching the monkeys play. Um, and then 810 came around. Um, and we hopped on the safari and that was my first time on the safari in so many years. And that was David's first ever time on the safari and we had a really good experience on it. Um, most all the animals were out. Most of them, I will say, were awake. Um, and moving and active. Uh, we seen some giraffes. Uh, we seen some hippos. Um, we've seen the rhinos. They were rolling in the mud and playing with each other, which was, that was really cool to see actually. Um, we've seen, we also, we've seen some crocodiles. Uh, we've seen the lions sitting on top of a rock, which I thought that was very cool because it kind of reminded me of the lion king a little bit. Yes. Um, and then we got off the safari and we decided to do the gorilla falls walkthrough because we had another genie plus at 910 for Everest. Um, so we decided to do the gorilla falls walkthrough. Cause why not? And I thought that was really amazing too. Um, I'm like, I don't know what it is, but I think gorillas are my favorite zoo animal. I think there's such intelligent creatures. And just looking at, um, all of them in the distance and they actually had just had, um, a few babies. So we seen that a few of the babies walking out. Um, and they were next to their mom and dad, daddy, like gorilla. It was just so cute. It was adorable. It was adorable. We loved it. Nice to get out there and walk it before it got like peak heat too. Yeah. And it was cooler this morning, which I was surprised. Um, it was probably, it was like 75 degrees and not bad at all. No, we were really lucky. But this day did not take very long for it to get really hot this day. Um, so after we did the gorilla falls walkthrough, we, um, started walking, making our way to over to Asia, uh, to ride expedition Everest. We had a nine, 10 genie plus, um, we got right on. I think the wait time was by this point, it was almost the 25 minutes, maybe. And that was hoping it would still be 25 minutes. So after the genie plus, we can get right back on. Um, we got off and the wait time reduced actually after we got off. It was only 15 minutes. So we hopped right back on, waited not even 15 minutes, maybe like 10 minutes. And this wasn't your first time on the ride, was it? No, no. Um, we rode this back in December when we went. And I will say, this is a really thrilling roller coaster. Um, I'm actually surprised with a lot of these rides that Disney puts in their parks because I did not think it went that I forgot how fast that ride actually goes. And it is. It's why it's in the trifecta things that people can accidentally traumatize their kids with because the high requirements not super high there. Wow. And so you think, Oh, my four or five year old can go on this. They're tall enough. And then it's really big ride. It's really intense too. Very, very going backwards through that dark section. Those G-forces like really push you into your seat and it could be like very intense, you know, they do. And I will tell you as someone who is older than you, that it is the thing that makes you want to age out of rides because the G-forces, they just hit differently. I know. I know. It does. It is part of what makes it so thrilling too. And going backwards and not knowing where you're going in the dark, that's, that's like a ride on its own, you know. Um, and then the drop out of the mountain is just awesome. I requested the back row both times because I just loved to get yanked over that drop. It was just the cool, it's the coolest feeling. And then just riding through the mountain going so fast. I loved it, loved it. And it moved wrong. And does David like it as much as you? Yeah, David, that's one I think that's David's favorite roller coaster there. He's actually wearing an expedition over a shirt right now. They have great merch. They really do. And they had the Yeti backpack and I was like, do I buy it? No, don't do it. Yeah. But it's pretty impressive. They have that whole little shop. It's every, every single time I want to stop and look at it. I know me too. I'm like, I can't help but the look, even the second time off the ride, I caught myself just looking around because there were, there were things in there that I didn't catch before. Mm hmm. Like that's a really neat shirt. I love David's shirt. Actually, it's this yellow shirt has like different colors on it. Has the Yeti on it, has the mountain on it, has a Disney's expedition Everest on it. I think it's like, I totally were. I totally rock that. I think what I like about it too is that it's sort of subtle. It depends on what you pick. And so it is. Only Park Sands are really going to know what it is. Exactly. I love that. I love that. It doesn't scream, you know, Mickey Mouse. No, that's what I love about because it's a different, it's so not Disney related. That's the thing. You know, it is Disney related, but it's so far fetched from what Disney actually encompasses in their parks. Right. It's more of a, if you know, you know a thing. Exactly. That's what I love about it. It's like little, it's like little hidden treasures. That's what I love about it. I love it. Okay. What was after expedition? So then we decided to, this is another underrated ride. I know it's old, but I really enjoy it. And it brings back a lot of memories when I was a kid. We went to ride Dinosaur. I think that ride's super underrated. I think it still holds up to its name considering with how old it is and how they made that ride. It's pretty impressive. How are you going to feel if it goes away? I'd be okay. I'd totally be okay with it because you know what? It is a little dated compared to Planet Passage, of course. I just want to emotionally prepare you for this very real possibility. I'm totally fine with it. And I've heard the rumors of an Indiana Jones theme coming to it. Who knows what will happen? I don't know. You would love, you would love Indiana Jones. I bet they haven't, in Disneyland, California, don't they? Yeah. I heard wonderful things about it. Quite frankly, I'd rather that than Dinosaur. Maybe they'll do something totally different. Honestly, the one thing they need to work on with that ride is the vehicles and how jerky they are. That can really give you whiplash. I will say that. If you're not holding on for dear life, it's pretty rough. And being in the dark and just not knowing where you're going at all and whipping around like that can be pretty jarring. Yes. But we enjoyed it. It was fun. It's a fun ride. It brings back nostalgia to me because when I was a kid, that ride just opened up. It was Dinosaur and Expedition Everest that were brand new. That was the last time I was in Disney when I was a kid. And my grandma took us on Dinosaur thinking it was a very tame ride. I was telling you, this is in the trifecta. Yeah. X which never is in the trifecta of things that can trumpet place gives dinosaurs. Totally. Totally. The other ones. I think God, I wasn't traumatized as a child. I was like screaming and laughing and loving it. But I thought my grandma was going to have a hard attack on that. She did not love that at all. She couldn't wait to get off. She was these poor Disney parents around us. She was cursing and yelling and telling them to stop the ride. It took me 17 years to ride it without screaming and covering my face. Like for some of us, it's very important. I think they've dialed it back though. I think the effects of the dinosaurs aren't as intense because I don't struggle with it anymore. And at first, I thought, "Oh, look at me. I'm so brave after 15 or 17 years." But I think they really just turned it down a little. I agree because I remember being a kid and the T-Rex coming out and it was so much more aggressive and loud. And when you go by the T-Rex point in that point of the ride, it's just not scary, but it's not in your face. I think they had to tone it down. I think they were like, "Oh, hold on, guys. Remember, we're Disney here." Yeah, but they had it intense for a very long time, which is why I kept hiding my face. Oh, totally. Anyway, we'll see what happens in that space. I'm curious. I'm curious. But yeah, we did that. And then after that, we had a 10.30 AM individual lightning lane for Flight of Passage. This is one of my favorite rides I have ever ridden. Motion simulator rides in my entire existence. This ride is really the definition of incredible, in my opinion. Now, David will have a different opinion than me because he gets so nauseous on this ride. In fact, there was a couple times where I was looking over at him, and I really thought he was going to hurl on the ride. And I just thought to myself, please don't hurl on the ride. That would be a bummer. Did he try closing his eyes? He did. And he said he still felt motion. Yeah. Because actually, I closed my eyes for a second, and I didn't realize, but it actually drops and moves side to side. And that's why you get those tickly sensations in your tummy when you're going down all these valleys and over the mountains. And I feel this ride is just really emotional in some ways, with the fact you can feel the banshee breathing in between your legs makes it feel so real. And anybody that can pick, when I first rode this, I asked this veteran of Flight of Passage what this ride was. I did not know what it was. This was back in December. And she told me it's just like soaring. I got on this. And I'm like, this is nothing like soaring. This is like soaring on steroids. This isn't credible. Have you ever looked to the left and right when you're on that? Totally. And you can see everybody. That's what's really cool about it too. It is. And so that does look a little bit more like, soaring when you do that. But you do. It is much more intense. It's much more intense. And there's a lot of people I've noticed that don't really realize if you're really motion sick, you really shouldn't ride this. And David's definitely one of those people where he can ride all the roller coasters in the world. But as soon as he gets on these motion simulator type rides, he gets a little nauseous. I'm pretty motion sick free. Comes in handy on some of the rides you have booked on this day. Oh, yeah. Totally, totally, totally, totally. But yeah, Flight of Passage was just definitely one of my favorite rides out of the whole trip. Unfortunately, we were only in Animal Kingdom for a day and we only got to ride it once. That line gets crazy long. I think the line got to almost four hours the day we were there. So I was so grateful that that lightning lane did its job. It saved you a lot of time. Yeah, it did. But now at this point, we got off Avatar. And it was about 11. And it got really hot, like really, really, really hot out of nowhere. So I told David, we are not leaving here until I get my Buffalo chicken chips from, I think it's called Dino Bites. It's the solo stand. It's by Dino Land. It's nothing big, but these chips are the best thing I've ever eaten in my entire life. And yes, it was 11 a.m. and I didn't care. It was still breakfast time. But it doesn't matter when you're in Disney. They come with these homemade potato chips, this buffalo chicken, this sour cream, the celery. I ate the whole thing by myself. And I'm so thin people don't think I eat and I'm telling them I eat. But yeah, we did that. And then we, after I got my chips, we walked back to the bus and we took the bus back to the Grand Floridian and took a little bit of a break in the air conditioning. This is ongoing theme throughout our days because the week we went was really, really hot. So anybody that's going this time of year, I'm just going to say lots of cooling towels, portable fans, and a lot of water. Yes, and break and break and break and break. Do not be afraid to break at your resort because the heat is intense. It feels like you're wrapped in tin foil walking on the surface of the sun just as people describe it. So it's pretty intense. We took the bus back to the Grand Floridian and I chilled by the pool for a little bit, did a little swim time. David was a little too tired to go by the pool and hot. So he was just in our room chilling, taking an app, enjoying our balcony. And then we had, we were going to parkop over to Epcot, which David booked us a Soren Gini Plus for 240. So we took the bus, I mean, we took the monorail over to Epcot, got on the transfer station, transferred on to the other monorail. We got into Epcot maybe around 130-ish. So we had a little bit of time. We walked around the creations gift shop a little bit. And then 240 came for our Soren Gini Plus. We rode that and I unfortunately got the last row where you can see everybody's feet dangling in front of your face. So that was a little disappointing in that, but it's still a great ride. We got off of that and this is a really interesting part. David made, gave me a Gini Plus for 345 for Mission Space. Now I've never been on this before and I am a thrill seeker. I do not have motion sickness. I do not experience any of that. And I chose the orange mission. Those G forces are coming back. I have more experience. This is just, I am so shocked. Disney has a ride, this intense in the park. So initially I walked in and they split you up into groups. I was completely alone in my capsule. So I was really nervous. I was really, I was nervous because they were telling me all these warnings and I was walking up almost thinking like maybe I should just do the green mission. But then I was already there and I was like, "No, I'll be fine. I'll be fine." But the fact I was alone, I was a little nervous. It starts and I'm on my back. I don't know what to expect and all of a sudden I felt the craziest pressure on my chest. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I think I was panicking mixed with the G forces and I started to feel so disoriented. I didn't even know what was happening. So the warnings they give you on this are no joke because I normally do not get motion sick at all. And I got motion sick on this. I came off of this not feeling too well. So that's just a heads up of anybody that wants to try the orange mission on mission space. Just go for the green. You'll be happy. I will tell you the green's really boring. The green's boring. It's so boring. And it doesn't have to be. They could make something that's interesting. But it's just kind of, you don't really do much. Do you enjoy the orange mission? Yeah, it doesn't bother me too much. I don't know why it bothered me so much. But it does bother a lot of people. So you're certainly not alone in that. I just didn't understand the physics behind that because I normally don't get motion sick. I don't know if that was just so anxious or I don't know what was happening. Yeah, it's what we see the most and this wouldn't apply to you, especially because you were by yourself, is that when people are traveling with other people, they tend to want to look at their other people in the party. And that's what looks great. You're supposed to look straight ahead because when you start looking around at other people with you, that's when it can be very disoriented. They tell you that in the video though, don't close your eyes and just look straight. Look straight ahead, don't look at anybody else. No, no, that's what I did. I just kept my head straight and I was just like, okay, it took me like 15 minutes to like calm down after the ride because I was like really shaken up. And David's like, we have a 420 frozen genie plus and I'm like, okay. Okay, I could do it. You can handle that. You just got to walk there. Yeah. And then on top of that, we had an individual lightning lane for Guardian's end of the galaxy at 445. A lot of walking. Believe it or not, the more I started to walk, I started to feel back to normal again. I just started sipping some water and I'm like, okay, I'm fine. I think I just worked myself up. I'd probably do it again. No, I'm not going to lie. Yeah, maybe maybe you wouldn't be alone next time. I think that's I think being alone on that ride's kind of weird. Yeah, totally was. And I was pushing everybody's buttons. Yeah. See, if you're pushing everybody's buttons, then you were exactly looking around. Exactly. Because I didn't know what was going to happen. I was like, but I'll push the button. You don't have to. But I can understand why you thought so. I felt very nervous. Yeah. They make it sound like you do. Yeah, absolutely. So we walked over to frozen. Mind you, the world showcase in Epcot has no shade at all. It is all just sun. This was probably the hottest experience being David experienced on our entire trip here. The sun was just beaming on us. And as we were walking to frozen, it was just so hot. I was like, I cannot wait to walk into into this air conditioning right now. This was our first time on frozen. So I was super excited for this because I heard a lot of great things. And I really loved this ride. This ride was so adorable. And I didn't know there's two drops in this. Spoiler alert. One goes backwards and the other one goes forwards, but it's like, yeah, yeah, different kinds of declines. Yeah, but it's fine. I was like, I didn't expect it. And I thought it was, I thought it was a really great well-themed ride. And then we got off that and we started walking over to our Guardians of the Galaxy individual lightning lane for 4.45. That ride is just, oh my god, incredible. I don't know if you're Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind fan, but that is hands down the best roller coaster in Disney. Or if anything in the world, going backwards, spinning in space, I just 100% awesome. You get off that ride and you're just full of like adrenaline. And I think we got, we got this going for now the first time we rode it. And that was like a perfect song to ride to, honestly. I feel like everybody has a different favorite song because like, I think Euphoria is the feeling that a lot of people get on that ride. Totally, yeah. And different songs can make that more prevalent or a stronger feeling of Euphoria. I agree. And my feeling of Euphoria on that song is definitely September. And mine is every, everyone wants to rule the world. Oh, that's a good one too. Yeah, totally. That's my favorite. But everyone has a different thing. It's either Euphoria or Nazia. So you and David were fine. Yeah, totally. Totally fine. David loves this ride too. We both love this ride. This ride's really weird. I read a lot of like mixed things. People either get really nauseous on this or don't get nauseous at all on it. And I guess that's why there's garbage cans outside the ride. So it used to be more of them and doggy bags and benches and all kinds of stuff. So it seems like you either rated 10 or 1 and there's not much in the middle. To me, like, if you can handle a rock and roller coaster, you can definitely handle this. This ride's awesome. It's so much smooth. It's smooth. And it doesn't spin uncontrollably. You're kind of just you're going with what the ride's doing. And as long as you again, as what we were just talking about before, if you're just looking straight ahead and what it wants you to look at and not looking all around, you'll be totally, I think you'll be totally fine, depending on who you are. The pain on who you are, because some people I've been, I've been with them. It's very, very nauseating to some, but really fun for the rest of us. It's so fun. Hands up the whole ride for me, totally. After Guardians, we had a 515, another genie plus at 515. We were stacking these genies for Remi's. So we walked all the way from... That's a hot walk. Jesus, you're telling me nothing? No. I was dying. I was like, oh my god. And it's a far walk. And we never did this either. And this was on the list, so we just had to cross it off. And I liked it. I thought it was super cute. I think Mickey and Minnie's is way better. But I still enjoyed it. I still thought it was a really cute ride. I don't think I would do it again, though. If you don't love it, it's a lot of work to get it. Yeah, exactly. I wouldn't wait for it. And I wouldn't stress about getting the genie for it. If you have little kids, I think it's perfect for them. But me and David probably just wouldn't do it again. It was nice. It was cute. But it was me. I could skip it. After that, we started walking all the way back to the Monorail now. And I couldn't wait to get there to get into the air-conditioned Monorail. And we took the Monorail back to the Grand Floridian. And this was the day of David's birthday. So we had an 8-1-T reservation at Narcoses. And I did take your advice. And I got a Mickey birthday cake. Nice. How did you do that? So I pre-ordered it when I made the reservation. It gives you the option when you make the reservation if you want a Mickey cake. I think it was an extra $39. So I just selected that. Mind you, I will say this. The Mickey cake looks about this big in the picture. And he is holding up his hands to look like maybe four inches tall by six inches wide? Not big at all. Not big at all, right? This thing came out and it was a monstrosity. It was like the actual Mickey Mouse head on my plate. And I was like, oh my god. I was like, I did nothing. That cake was not big. So me and David took our slices of cake. And I was like, what am I going to do with the rest of this cake? And our room was already stored with snacks and water and Gatorade and liquid IV. I'm like, we can't take this back. So I gave the rest of the cake to the table across for me. And I'm so glad because I made their day too, because it was this girl's birthday at that table that day too. And I didn't order a cake and I felt really good to kind of do that for them. You know, that's the magic of Disney I feel is giving back sometimes too, you know. I'm glad somebody would eat it. Oh my god. Good to know. Do you have any concept of what the actual dimensions were? God, what would you say? What is that? Like, I think I'm big. So a picture like a soup, a giant soup bowl upside down with these giant, maybe triple sized chocolate chip cookie ears on the sides. It was just massive. So if you do order it, make sure there was at least four or five people at your table. And quite frankly, it could probably feed at least seven. Good to know people could feed a group because the picture doesn't make it look small. Oh my god. I thought I really thought it was the size of like, no, like you said, no more than like four inches big with these little ears. I'm like, oh yeah, that's cute, whatever. I couldn't believe that my jaw drops when he brought it out. And I was like, oh my god. And then I didn't even think like, oh, it's just me and David, what are we gonna do? And the end of our dinner came and I was just like, just give it to the table. The waiter we had was absolutely, we had the best service. This was one of the best restaurants we went to on Disney property. We had really, really great service. They gave us an amazing seat. We literally had a window right in front of the fireworks while we were eating dinner. And we were just face to face with the fireworks while we were finishing our dinner. And it was unbelievable. It was very romantic for David and I and his birthday. And I kept telling him how magical is it this is this on your birthday to see fireworks outside of your restaurant at the Grand Floridian. This is this can't get better right now. Yeah, that's really cool. I'm glad you I'm glad you'd have to go there. I mean, you're staying at a resort with, you know, the best food and and some would say some of the best food in Florida, Victoria and Albert has that Michelin star now. We will get there just wasn't quite in our budget. Yes. Well, and you have a ton of options. So we do we do. I totally I was I was really debating it on this trip. I really was. I just and it was a special occasion. But I really think we will probably eat there on like an anniversary or something. It's very but everything there is so good. I know. I'm glad that you got to go to our QC's because it's just one of the good ones. It was. I live in the New York City area and I will say this out did a lot of these restaurants around here the food. I will say everywhere we age regardless of where it was. You can tell there is a culinary expert behind all this because there is some kind of creativity and artistry with the food. I'm a complete foodie. And as I was eating at Narcoses, you can just taste all these different flavors all together, whether they're sweet or savory or regardless of what it is, it all just corresponds and marries really well together. And it's they should give themselves a pat on the back because they really out do themselves there. Absolutely. One thing I said a lot is that I also am a huge foodie. I love fancy food and restaurants and experiences. But what I like about doing them in the theme parks is that you can never be too pretentious. No, you can't. You're the theme park. Yes, this is like award-winning and amazing food, but you are not going to be snobby about it because we are a Disney world or Disney crew. Amen. Amen. I love it. It's like non pretentious fine dining. I don't care what anybody says, but we didn't have one bad meal in Disney. I didn't care. We didn't have a bad meal in the park. We didn't have a bad meal in the anywhere. All the food is delicious. Mm-hmm. It is. I mean, to be fair, you've chosen some really delicious places. We did. That helps. We did. So that really helped in our advantage, I guess, so I guess you're right about that. Yes, but you also like the dino bites. I do like dino bites. You like dino bites. You like dino bites. I have a girl. I have an open palate. I really do. Me too. I love it. I eat Taco Bell and Victorian Albert. Girl, amen. Me too. It's all good. I'm right there with you. It's all good. Me too. So that sounds like a really lovely ending to his birthday. That was awesome. We really had a wonderful, wonderful day, and I even asked him. I'm like, I really hope you had a wonderful birthday because you deserve it. We both worked very hard, and the fact I could do that for him, I'm very grateful for it. Seriously. Good. Good planning, then. You've heard of Pizza Hut $7 deal lovers menu, right? All these delicious items for only $7 each when you buy two or more, but something's off. So the next day was Wednesday, July 3rd, and you had plans to go to Hollywood Studios. Yes, this was so exciting, actually. Hollywood Studios. So we were so lucky that rock and rollercoaster opened early. Early. I was so freaking happy. I was so happy. So we got our Gini Plus at midnight as usual. This was like a routine for us. 7 a.m. We booked our first selections. We purchased the individual late evening for Rise of the Resistance, one of my favorite rides. We took the bus from the Grand Floridian to Hollywood Studios. We left about 7.55. We did the Tower of Terror standby queue, which was a 15 minute wait. And then we got back on with Gini Plus at 8.45. So we wrote Tower of Terror twice because that is my favorite ride. And I'm wearing the shirt. Speaking of Great merch, another one. Love Tower of Terror merch. So good. I will say this, I am so mad about it too, and I should have gotten it. There were these years, these Tower of Terror years during Christmas time, and they had the clock in the middle of the ears. They'll be here when I get back in July. Nope, they do not have them anymore. They were limited edition, and it was so disappointed I didn't buy them the first time. Why did you do it? It's one of those things. If you see something you like, get it. I know. I know. Now I know what this is. It's so hard. Sometimes the stuff repeats in the shops and sometimes like that. It doesn't. Yeah, it doesn't. It doesn't. It doesn't. So we did Tower of Terror. We really tried to get the rock and roller coaster Gini Plus, but it was gone in seconds in the morning, and we're really good with the Gini Plus. So that was really shocking. But we did do the standby line. The standby had a 50 minute posted weight, and I was like, I don't know if we can do it because we had a Ohana breakfast at 10.40, and it was already nine o'clock. So I was like, you know what? Let's just wait it out. The line only ended up being about 35 minutes. And we got to ride the new and improved rock and roller coaster. Which can you tell the difference? You could tell they really cleaned everything up and made everything look a lot nicer. It looked nice before too, but we just amped up everything. The lighting's a little bit different on the ride. You can kind of see where you're going upside down now, which is pretty cool. As before, it was really dark in there. The signage is kind of looks kind of new when some of the areas, other than that, the ride's still the same. It's still is a little rough. My suggestion is, I know they tell you to keep your head back, but if you just lean your head a little forward in between the shoulder harness, you won't bang your head around. If you just lean your head a little forward, you won't get that head banging headache off the ride. But I love rock and roller coaster. I can go on that ride all day. So at that point, did you have to leave for O'Hanna then? So after we got a rock and roller coaster, it was about 9.45. And yeah, we had to start bucking it to the Polynesian. So thank God we were on Hollywood Studios because it is so easy to take park transportation to any resort. So we just took our bus to our usual bus. I think it goes to the Poly and the Grand Floridian. So we took the bus to the Poly. We got there a little early. We got there maybe like 10-20. We checked in and they said it was we were right on time and our reservation was at 1040. So we decided to just look around the gift shops because Stitch is my favorite character. And I am really surprised by one thing that Disney does not have Stitch ears. That actually really surprises me. I was really on the hunt for them but I don't think they exist and that's totally fine. Then we got called back to our table around 10-30. It was an early, we got called back pretty early. We got seated. The food was very good. We had the traditional Mickey Waffles, scrambled eggs, ham. They give you that pineapple like pull apart bread kind of which was I thought was so good and I would love to make that at home. I've been trying to buy some of these recipes to see if I can kind of mimic them at home to make me feel like I'm at Disney. You can probably Google it. I was tempted to but then I was like do I want to ruin every time I put a Disney now but I miss it so much so. You're not ruining it. You're being inspired. That is true. That's a good way to play there. Sometimes people will Google the copycat recipes and Disney also has cookbooks. Disney has cookbooks for some of their recipes. I don't know if that's in there but it could be. Oh I have to find that then. That's awesome but I love the ohana breakfast. I would totally do that again. The little dance they do to Hawaiian roller coaster ride. I was in awe because Lilo and Stitch is one of my favorite Disney movies so I was really in the moment and I was living back my childhood because we used to go there all the time when I was a kid and it really hasn't changed. I remember it exactly how it was and we got to meet Stitch. We got to meet Pluto and Mickey and Lilo and got pictures. It was a really, really lovely breakfast. We had a great time. Now before we move on because I know you had some like reservations and things. I feel like there was a lot of stuff at Hollywood Studios that you didn't do. So this is where we go back to Hollywood Studios. So we took a break. Oh okay I forgot David's reminding me of something right now. So going back do you remember this little girl I seen at the airport? Yes. Okay so I'm sitting there and somebody taps my shoulder and I turn around and it's the same little girl I seen at the airport and I'm like so I can hear and she's like I think you're following me and I'm like no I think you're following me. So we kind of rekindled, I got the mom's number and everything so we kind of just stay in touch which is really cool. That's cute. I mean you guys were at Ohana at the same time? We were at Ohana at the same time not planned. Yes that's so funny. Very ironic. But yeah after Ohana we went back to the Grand Floridian just for a little bit to digest. And then maybe around like two o'clock we took the bus back to Hollywood Studios. We had a genie plus for Millennium Falcon at 250 and we had a slinky dog dash genie plus for 310. So I never did the Millennium Falcon before and I was so excited for this. Me and David both got to be the pilot. That's so cool. That is so cool how you get to fly. I don't know. I was speechless about that. That made me a little dizzy. I'm not going to lie. I got off of that and I looked to my right afterwards and I'm like was I really moving? I'm so confused. You were moving. It really feels like you're spinning and dipping and it's so cool. And the fact that this steering actually goes with the simulator is wild to me. Yeah when you have a five-year-old that is the pilot you can really feel the effects. Yeah because of going up and down and around. And they can't reach all the controls. It's a different experience. Yeah me and David aren't experienced pilots so we were probably like the five-year-old pilot. There was one other guy behind us and I probably I think he wanted to kill us because I don't like we knew what we were doing. My only contribution on that ride because I'm rarely the pilot is I will shout at the pilot to pull the lever. Right because a lot of pilots don't know and it's kind of a key part of it. So I'm like bullet. And we didn't know that and he pulled the lever the one time and I'm like that's how that's what's supposed to happen. Yeah that's a cool part of it. Yeah it was really cool. We enjoyed it. And we got off of that. This day was really hot too. We started walking over to his Toy Story Land to ride Slinky Dog Dash. Which is a very hot land. Jesus you're telling me nothing. I know. It's so hot and as we walked over to Slinky Dog Dash this is going to sound crazy but getting literally smell the metal like cinging on the roller coaster. That's how hot it is. So we rode that and I'm like oh we'll get a nice breeze on the ride. You don't get a breeze. The ride is fun. I love Slinky Dog Dash. It's one of my favorite it's another one of my favorite roller coasters there. But it was it was really it was really hot to ride that ride that day. It was just I enjoyed it but not as much as I normally would I would say. I think it's a good nighttime right? But due to last night. I second that. That was the last time I mean the last time we did it in December it was a lot cooler out too. It was actually cold the night we were there. And that was the last memory I had of it. But I don't think I would ever ride that ride in the middle of a hot summer day in Hollywood studio. Snow way. And it opened this time of year as well. So all the first impressions of it were oh my god it's so hot in this land. I'm surprised he didn't make an indoor queue for that ride. It didn't even use they I think they've even added some fabric coverings and some fans. Like it used to be worse. I guess it could those they need to put something in those fans like a coolant or something. Oh man. Even I was standing in that line for I felt bad for those people sitting in a line for like 50 like 125 50 minutes. You know I mean we waited. Sometimes I'm convinced the people that design these things and things like Gini plus have never been in a park. No way. And as a spreadsheet lover I'm like you sometimes you have to get out of the spreadsheets and go see what it's really like. Totally. Because designing something like that is just not a good experience in Florida. No. No. And the fact like most of the queues in Disney are indoors. Smart. To have a queue in Toy Story Land in the middle of Beaming Sun. No bueno. Not smart. I don't know whoever thought of that. Not a good idea. They'll argue that it's on theme and there's reasons they can't do it because of Fitz and Andy's backyard and all this stuff. But we're still people that have to experience. We we yes exactly. We're human beings. We haven't followed it to though. After that we had a rise of the resistance for 10 reservation. I don't know what it was but I was I know I keep saying this but I was so hot after I got off that ride. Like I could. You're hot after a raise resistance. No. Slinky. Slinky dog. Slinky dog. Right after we got off slinky dog I was so boiling hot from being in that sun. I was and I don't get to that point rarely ever. So I was like I'm getting a pretzel and I'm going into I don't know where I went into and it was like this little theater where they had all these little displays of the rides at Disney and it just gave me like a little history. It was like a little mini museum kind of and it was it was air conditioned. It's Walt Disney presents. That's it. Yes Walt Disney presents. It was awesome. I really enjoyed it. I'm a history buff. So I we spent a little time in there before we had to walk all the way back to rise to the resistance. And I enjoyed my pretzel on there and cold water in the air conditioning and just kind of dried my sweat off my shirt a little bit for a little while. This is what I call it lily patting. You're gonna find the ikulare. Amen. That's that's a good way to put it. And then we started walking four o'clock. We started walking to rise to the resistance our individual lightning lane at four ten. Which ender cue? Endor cue. Thank you God. That ride's just amazing. The cast members on that ride. Everything about that ride. Even the Wi-Fi is is top notch. I'd write. I know I was hooked up the Wi-Fi on that. I was like, wow, this is great. You would think it would have bad Wi-Fi because you're in such a building that is it feels like it would block out the signals or whatever. But it's really good. You would never think you would have good Wi-Fi in there ever. I think it's because you can use the Play Disney Parks app in the queue so they want you to be able to use it. But I'm like, well, I'm just gonna upload my Instagram pictures all over here. That's a good idea. I think I actually uploaded to my story while I was there. That's a good point. Like, yeah, that ride's just amazing. That ride's, I think that's probably one of the most immersive rides you'll ever ride anywhere. Before you even get on the ride, it's an experience because the pre-shows are unbelievable. I'm not a huge Star Wars fan. I can appreciate it not being a huge Star Wars fan. The visuals on Kyla Ren when you're in the jail cell is just, oh my god, this feels so real. It actually feels like you're there in the moment. I mean, if you've never done it, definitely do it. It's a must do for every Disney trip. And I feel like even people with motion sickness can probably ride this. It's not that intense. Yeah. I think the scariest part is that the resistance, it can be, it's dark and intimidating to kids. Totally. Totally. Totally. But other than that, an amazing experience for most people. A great ride. We actually do that later. We do it again later in the trip, but we'll talk about that in a bit. But after that, we took the monorail back to, this was a really eventful day. We took the monorail back to our hotel and we were doing the extended evening hours for Magic Kingdom that night. So at six o'clock, they did, they opened up the virtual queue for Tron. So I booked the virtual queue for Tron for the extended evening hours. And we just really laid low at the hotel for like four hours before we ventured out. Did you cancel your spa reservation? Oh, I did. Yes, I did. I did. There was just, you know, there was too much going on. And you know, I'm okay with that. Because I will get there eventually. This is only my second Disney trip out there, you know, it gives me something else. I think the Grand Floridians probably going to be our home resort for sure. I've never been to a spa Disney World, I don't think. And I go every six weeks. I mean, listen, that makes me feel a lot better that they canceled. So there is just so much to do. There's like, I'd rather, I know this sounds crazy to some people, but like, you won't understand this unless you're a Disney person. But there is no time for relaxing at Disney. I mean, if you want to do it, you can. Exactly. If you want to save me, there's plenty. Exactly. But I am, I go, I like the rides. I'm a ride buff. So, um, yeah, we just chilled by the hotel for a little bit. We, I think we made sandwiches in the room that night. Um, I booked that virtual queue and we headed over to Magic Kingdom around. Okay. So this is really interesting because this was July 3rd. Um, so July 3rd and 4th, the Magic Kingdom was doing their July 4th celebrations. So they were doing the July 4th fireworks that night and the 4th. Those fireworks, like you said, are no joke. They are big. I mean, big. And when you can feel it in your chest, like when they go off, they're so loud, but they're so extravagant, they really go all out. It was pretty incredible. And you walk into Magic Kingdom and there's a DJ right in front of Cinderella's castle. I'm just playing all this great, like house, electronic dance music. And there's all these lights and the castle was lit up with the American flag on it. Um, yeah, it really felt like the 4th of July. Um, pretty. Where did you watch the fireworks show? So believe it or not, we were on our way to the Magic Kingdom, uh, when the fireworks started and, um, we literally watched them outside the Park entrance outside the Magic Kingdom entrance. Cause you know what? It was fine. You can't read that. Whatever. You can't. You absolutely can hear it and see it. Yeah. Like it's right there. I'm like, why bother just walking into the park when this is a great view right here. And from our, what's Hell Room, they were shooting off the fireworks from the island across from our balcony. So we could really see them from our balcony too, but that's another story. Um, but yeah, they were great. Those fireworks are unbelievable. So good. So good. Um, so we got there, like nine o'clock, we had a genie plus at nine 45 for Space Mountain. So we hopped on to Space Mountain and, um, I love that ride too. That ride is so good. Um, it's such a classic. Um, I love how dark it is in there. I don't know why, but I really don't remember being a kid and riding that and it being so dark. Has it always been that dark? Yeah. It's even darker, um, during the Halloween party. Oh my God. It's just hard to imagine, but it is. It's so good. I love not being able to see where you're going. It's so good. Um, wait, that was awesome. And then David begged me. He was like, please, can we ride one of the poo? Cause he loves one of the poo. And I'm like, of course we can. So we got the 10 15 genie plus for that, um, rode that and I was adorable. Um, I really enjoyed that ride too. Um, and we just walked around a little bit. Um, we had an 11 PM individual lightning lane. I mean, a virtual queue for, uh, we got called back to our group for Tron at around like 11 30, I want to say. Um, so we walked over there. Uh, and we got on Tron and boys at a fun ride too. That ride's awesome. I wish it was a little longer. Um, it's very short. Um, it's very short, but the Pete, like you and I like the thrill rides and the people that don't, I feel like Tron is that sweet spot for them. Yeah, totally. Cause it's like a thrilling ride, fun launch, but not too long. No, it's like just like, I, I feel like a lot of people, that's like a really good starter roller coaster for you. Cause it's going to go upside down. Um, there's no big drops or anything. There's just a lot of twists and turns and that launches so amazing. It's so cool. And when you're sitting in that position on your bike, just waiting to be launched, it is the coolest sensation of speed. You'll get going down that little launch way right there. And then it's over. And then it's over. But we rode it at night and it was so cool at night. Cause the last time we rode Tron, I was during the day, the whole grid was lit up. So. Riding along the grid outside when it's all lit up, I thought was a much cooler experience than during a day by opinion. So if you're going to ride Tron, night is the way to do it. Totally. Yeah. And that's why the, the, the genie plus or individual lean lanes for that are so competitive at night. Because people, people do like it. It's so good at night. Um, yeah, it's definitely a night ride for sure. Um, uh, we also did, uh, space now and one more time that night. Um, that was just a literally a 10 minute wait. And by this point, the extended evening hours were like almost ending. So we did that. Um, and as we were walking back, we went to the confectionary and David got a Mickey Rice Krispy treat with like M&M's on it and all that sugary goodness. Uh, one o'clock in the morning. I mean, how good could that be? You know, why not? Why not, right? Um, and this day, uh, we took the boat back to the gram 30 and, and went to bed. And well, before we went to bed, we bought the genie plus for the next day. So you were already out. Um, so this will be your last trip having to do all that. Exactly. Exactly. I can't believe it. Um, yes, it's going to be different now that you've learned the genie plus system. It's all going to change. Um, the next day was Thursday to life force. This was this day was amazing. Um, as well, all our days were amazing. Um, so 7 a.m. I was knocked out from the night before. And I don't know how my alarm went off four times. I didn't hear it. And I opened my eyes at eight 30 and I panicked. I was like, and David's like, don't worry. I got us a Tiana's virtual queue and I got us a Tiana's, uh, genie plus. So he was up. Yeah. He got both the virtual queue and the genie plus for Tiana's. I was so excited. I got to ride this twice. And you got to sleep. And I got to sleep. Uh, thank you, David. Um, uh, so we woke up a little later because our first, uh, lightning, we bought the lightning lane for seven dwarves and Tron again. Um, so our lightning lane for seven dwarves was until 11. So we just slept in a little bit, kind of recouped a little bit from the extended evening hours and we got breakfast at Gasparellas, which was amazing. Amazing. Amazing. I got the Mickey waffles and the sausage and bacon and it's delicious. Um, and then we took the monorail over to the magic kingdom around 10 30. Um, and we got into the seven dwarves, uh, individual lightning lane queue. And we rode that and I love that ride. That's a good ride too. It's very short too though. I'm so, I was just getting ready to say, I'm so disappointed with how short that ride is. I'm like, it could go on a little longer, but it's still fun. It took four years to construct. And it's, and you would, you know, you would, there's a lot of details. Really powerful. It's great. I just wish it was a little longer. Big center mountain is pulling through with that long coaster. That's about the same intensity. I agree. I think Big Thunder Mountain is a little, it's a lot rougher than it is rougher. It's older. It doesn't have that smooth track, but it's about, it's a kind of similar, um, thrill. But I like, but I will say I like it better than seven doors. Mine. Yeah, it lasts a lot. It lasts a lot longer. Um, but it's so fun. It's so great ride. Um, really good starter roller coaster for those. Um, just kind of getting into the thrill rides. I feel like, um, there's a little bit of speed there. There's a little dip and it's fun. Um, and then after we got off seven dwarves, uh, my dad's girlfriend's daughter was there the same week we were dad's girlfriend's daughter. Okay. Um, so and I'm close with, I'm close with my dad's girlfriend. Um, I lost my mom a few years back, but that's fine. Whatever. Um, and, um, we met her there and she was with her husband and kids and they're huge Disney people. So we met up with them at Casey's Corner. Uh, just sat, ate a little bit, talked, catch up. Um, kind of just exchanged memories from our vacation so far. Um, it was nice. It was well-curring again that day. Um, it was an ongoing theme that week. Um, uh, didn't, it rained one time at night the whole time we were there. And, and except for when your plane was coming in and the storm, yeah, the, the severe thunderstorm hits, right? And believe it or not, the one night it did rain. We were under a tornado warning and there was a funnel cloud like pretty close to contemporary and it was nighttime and me and David were on the balcony and it was, we're from New Jersey. We don't see weather like this ever, but you can literally see the black clouds just rolling in and the lightning happening. And that was like, and the wind started to pick up temperature drops about 10 degrees and I'm like, oh my God, this is amazing. Yeah, you needed more of that. Totally. Maybe not tornadoes, but storm. No, no tornadoes, no tornadoes. Um, but yeah, uh, getting off topic. Um, uh, so after we ate lunch, we, uh, we actually had, we had no choice, but the stop because there was so many, it was crowded. The parade was started, um, which I really enjoyed that parade. That parade is awesome. That Maleficent flow is unbelievable. I was like in awe when that came along. I was like, wow, this is really, that's really something else. It's interesting. I think the only downside of that parade, the festival of fantasy is just the time of day because you end up being the sun a lot, but the floats themselves are really incredible. Really great. I mean, they're so well made. Um, all the characters on the, I mean, all the cast members, incredible. Um, so we, I like when Maleficent comes by, I like here in the crowd sort of hold their breath. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like waiting. I think it's going to happen. Is it going to happen for the fire? Is the fire going to? Yeah. Yeah. And when it does happen, everybody goes, ooh, exactly. It's fun. It's cool. Yeah. It's definitely a vibe for sure during the parade. And you almost kind of forget how hot you are because of all you kind of do. I know you're hot, but like you almost kind of forget it because of all this amazing stuff happening in front of you. It almost distracts you, you know. Um, I had your mentality on my last trip because it had been three months since I was there. And so I was like, oh, it's been forever since I was here. I immediately went to Magic Kingdom and went to Festival Fantasy Parade. And it was the same vibe that you just said. I was like, I don't care that it's 100 degrees. I'm just happy to be here. Yeah, man. Me too. That's how I felt. And you know what? I think like, this is how you really have to put it and we could edit this out. It's fine, but there are so many people in this world who would really love the opportunity to go to Disney World. And they don't have that chance. You just have to remember that you're there, you're with the people you love, and you're in the most magical place on earth. So regardless, if it's raining, if it's hot, whatever it is, just be happy you're there and live in the moment because it really is magical. If you just push aside how hot you are, it really is. It is. Yeah. Yeah. I totally get it. And I think it's a good reminder. I think people that listen to this podcast generally tend to be people that appreciate it. But when you're there, you definitely see people that are that not great, not remembering. No, it's a privilege. That's the beauty of this podcast. So it's because everybody that's honest, they're just they're people like me. And it's like, thank God there's people like me out there that love it just as much as I do and have the same passion for it. You know, it's so funny though, because sometimes when guests come on, they are afraid to mention criticisms. And I'm like, no, criticisms are allowed. Yeah, totally. Totally. Totally. We can't have the whole thing being negative, but certainly criticisms are allowed. Totally. But overall, usually things are pretty good. I agree. Yeah. Where was the parade? Okay. Little, then we did, after the parade, we walked over to the little mermaid because there's a 10 minute wait and that's another one of my favorite rides in Disney because I love Ursula. Oh, yeah. So if you like Ursula, that is a fantastic one. Also, it's inside. Yes. And it's air conditioned. So I was like, yeah, we're doing that for sure. So we waited 10 minutes for that ride. There was like no line. I don't know why there's no line for that ride ever. It's a really good ride. Yeah. And do you see how big the queue is? Yes. And I'm like, why is it empty? They, they were thinking the lines were going to be long. It's really depressing, actually, when you go in there and I'm like, why is there nobody here? So the ride in Disneyland is the exact same ride, but without the queue. So you can walk crazy. Like, I know, like, if it says there's a 15 minute wait, I'm like, yeah, just because I have to walk 15 minutes for the queue. That's it. Probably you're not waiting 15 minutes. You're walking to 15 minutes. That's it. It's crazy because everything else that day was July 4th. It was packed that day. Yeah. Everything else had a 50, 60 plus minute wait. And that has 10 minutes. And I'm like, what? Like, how is this a walk on? You know, of like, whatever, I'll go with it. I'll ride it again. If I want, I don't care, you know. So while we were on the little mermaid, David scored a Peter Pan genie plus for 115. So that was literally maybe 10 minutes after we got off the ride. We started walking over to Peter Pan. I haven't been on that in a while. I actually haven't been on that since I was a kid. And I will say, I have this memory of when I was a kid of getting stuck on Peter Pan and we had to get evac off the ride. That was an, that's an interesting one to be evac from like, do you remember how that worked? I don't remember, but I remember climbing out of the car on this like platform thing. And we walked along this really skinny thing that you couldn't see unless the lights were on. Yeah, that would be, I like the idea being evac from a lot of rides, but that one feels like it would be true. It was, that was a little traumatizing for me. It's remarkable. Yeah. I don't know if that one's, I don't know if that would be as fun as some of the others. No, no, that wasn't fun. I remember we were stuck there for like, 20 minutes. And I was, my grandma was just like a handful when I was a kid. And she was like, cursing, yelling, and she's mad. And she was like, I can't get out of this car. What do you be talking like? It was just, you know, what did you think about it as an adult? I liked it. It's very short. It's very short, but I like it. It's really, it's classic. And that's what I like about it. I really enjoyed it. I don't care what people say about it. I like it. Well, it's, it's very popular. It really is. I wouldn't wait for it. I'd get the genie for it and do it at 100%. But I wouldn't wait for it. I will say that. It's going to be close. It's got a long closure. So, yeah, it's going under refurbishment, I think. Yes. See what it's like when it reopens. But yeah, that's a popular one. They have a lot of rides going down. They got jungle crews going too. It's good, though. Yeah, they need that. I know, I know this is a total side topic, but I would rather they do that than have the rides break down all the time. Amen. Me too. Me too. Anyway, after we got Peter Pan, we did it the small world of that ride. It's such a great ride. You're classic. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. I could ride that ride all day, honestly. And then we had a 145 big thunder mountain, genie plus. So we walked over there, did big thunder. We got front row and big thunder. That's another cue that's really hot. Oh my gosh. I was in that genie plus line and I was like dying. But that's fine. I love that ride. I could ride that ride all day. And then we had a 220 genie plus for Pirates of the Caribbean. We were really stacking these genies today. You are nailing. Yeah, lightning lanes. Yeah, we're nailing. We didn't wait in one line. We got 220 lightning lane for pirates. Did that love that ride too? Awesome. And then, oh my god, the best part comes are 240 genie plus for Tiana's. And that was really because we were still in the virtual queue and we didn't get called yet. So I was like, all right, let's do the virtual queue. Let's do the genie plus and then we'll get back on in the virtual queue. I'm so impressed with what they did to this ride. They did a great job. I love the princess and the frog. I thought the animatronics were great. I thought the theming was great. The whole ride was a great experience. Is the ride different? No. It's splash mountain, but splash mountains are classic. And they turned it into something a little bit more modern. And I think it's really well suited for magic kingdom 100%. And that 50 foot drop is so fun with your hands in the air. But something different about this ride, I've noticed, you get drenched. You did not get this wet on splash mountain. You get drenched. We were so felt so good to get that wet. But we were in this first, the first time we were in the back row, we were soaking wet, walking off. I was soaking wet, walking off. And the second time you were in the second row drenched, absolutely drenched. So just keep in mind that you are going to get really wet on this ride. That was okay for you guys. Oh, I don't care. It's a what you have to expect it. It's a water ride. You know, quite frankly, I kind of wanted it to be drenched in that 100 degree heat. And honestly, by the time I got on to the monorail back to the hotel, I was dry. So there's that. It didn't last long. Oh, so we took the monorail back to the hotel around like three o'clock, just take a little bit of a break. We had dinner at Gasparillos again. That's just right in the hotel. It was so easy. So that's what we did. And the food was just outstanding. We, I got this, David got this Korean chicken bowl. And oh my God, like, I love my Chinese place that I take out from over here. But sorry, that was all much better. That Korean chicken bowl was out of this world. And I'm so sad. I'm not going to get it until I go back. Things to look forward to. Yeah, exactly. And then July 4th, they were doing the fireworks, of course, at 9/20, the special July 5 of July 4th fireworks. So we thought, do we watch the fireworks again? Or do we take advantage during this and do standby queues with no weights? So we took the standby queue option. You would see the fireworks the night before. Yeah, we seen the fireworks the night before. So I was like, you know what, let's do this. Let's go ride a ride. So we got to the Magic Kingdom around like nine o'clock. We walked right on to, we went into Tomorrowland, we walked right on to Buzz Lightyear. I love that ride. That ride's really cute. It's, that's a classic too. And I love that you could spend your own car. It's so fun. And then we did space, mount in again on Gini Plus at 9.15. And then we did it again at 9.30, because it was a walk on. So in total, we did space mountain like six times, I will say. That was, that was a great ride. Not bad. No, not at all. And then we had a 10.05 Gini Plus for Jungle Cruise. This is where it got really hairy this night. So it was freaking out a little bit. We had an individual lightning lane for Tron at 10.30. And we had the Gini Plus for a Jungle Cruise at 10.05. And I'm like, are we going to make it? And we did. We did Jungle Cruise. I've never, I haven't done it in so many years as David's first time. I love Jungle Cruise that night. That is so cool. I would totally do that at night again, 100%. So did you have any trouble navigating from Jungle Cruise to Tron because of the crowds or no? Believe it or not, by this point, the crowds have like cleared out for the most part. Because it's after fireworks. Yeah, it's after fireworks. So the crowds are pretty much dispersed everywhere around the park. So that's why I was really worried about was navigating to Tron from Jungle Cruise with the crowds. I wasn't sure how that was going to be. I think thought it was fine. We made it to Tron at like 10.40. Park closed at 11. So I was like, thank God, we made it. And that was a great night ride too. I loved it. So cool. So good. So good. So was that your last ride? That was our last ride for the night. By the time we got off of that, it was like 11 and something at night. Took the monorail back to the hotel. Oh no, this night, we didn't take the monorail back to the hotel. We walked back on, this was really interesting. David is looking at me really funny right now because this is really funny. So as we're walking back to the hotel, we're so tired. And the bus, the line for the boats and the monorail were just astronomical. So we're like, let's just walk back, whatever. It'll be a nice walk back. So we're walking back and we get stopped by the drawbridge. And they were letting the water pageant into the drawbridge, which took about 20 minutes. We were standing there. Oh my gosh. And we just wanted, we were hot. It was humid. We were tired. We were just like, I just want to lay down. And the water pageant is happening that late, huh? Yeah. And they were letting it back into the drawbridge, I guess, where they like store it for the night or what? Oh, it's indie. Okay. Yeah. But they, it was closed off for like 20 minutes. And it was so funny because you could so tell this one dad was just so exhausted. And his cute little five year old was just asking him a bunch of questions. And that's dad, but he just had it. He goes to me, turns around and he's like, it's great to have kids sometimes, but it's times like this where I just want to turn the volume down a little bit. I know whenever I hear little kids with like cute voices and they're chattering, I think it's so adorable. But I know that that is really difficult on the parents. Yeah, totally. I could never, I couldn't even imagine taking children at Disney. A lot of people do. Oh my God. I'm so happy I get to go. It was an adult and not to worry, aren't you? Yeah, but we got back to the hotel probably around like 1240. So it was, it was a long day. It was a long day, but it sounds really fun. I sat on a balcony a little bit and I brought my likes, my Nintendo switch with me. I'm a gamer. So I was just switching away and I almost fell asleep on a balcony and I'm like, okay, time to go inside. You've heard of Pizza Hut $7 deal lovers menu, right? The next day you have plans to be at high feeling like you and is that what you ended up doing? Yeah. Okay, so we booked the genie plus at 12 o'clock again. We were going to do Taifun Lagoon, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT that day. And we did. We weren't at Taifun Lagoon for very long, and I'll tell you why. The bus to Disney Springs does not come that often to the Grand Floridian. If you miss that bus, you're waiting like another 45 minutes to an hour for that bus for sure. And the reason you're mentioning it is because to go to Taifun Lagoon, you have to take the bus to Disney Springs. Yes, you have to take the bus to Disney Springs, transfer on to the Taifun Lagoon bus. It's really, it was really out of the way for us. I didn't mind with how far it was, but it was, it was far. And we didn't really get to Taifun Lagoon until maybe 11 o'clock. And it was, it was so busy. We got a locker, we put all our stuff in the locker. We did one of the raft rides, and we waited almost an hour for the raft ride. And I was just. And there's no genie plus. And there's no genie plus. And I was just like, I don't know. I'm like, I don't know how I'm feeling about this. And the raft ride was like literally 30 seconds. I got wet, which was I was happy because it was so hot. And then we went over to crushing gusher. And we got on the pineapple plunger side. And I thought that was really fun. And then we got on one more, we got on the other raft ride where it takes you up the chain lift. And we were kind of just done after that, because all the lines were like an hour plus. And I will say this, we were kind of overtight from lagoon, but we had the best food, a type of lagoon. I will say, I got this barbecue chicken flatbread. Oh my God, I'm still dreaming about it. The water slides weren't the highlight of my trip of type lagoon. The food was the highlight of my trip, the type lagoon. I think if there was a list of best, quick service at Disney World, I feel lagoon would be on it. Wow. So you think it was good? Yes. Yes. I was so surprised. I was like, if the food here will be all right, it's a water park, you know, but like, I was really, my expectations were like really blown away. I was like, wow, that was really good. But we headed, we were in type lagoon, I think, for an hour and a half. And that was maybe two hours at most. And that was it. You were like done. No, wave pool in a lazy river. It was so packed. Yeah, you couldn't even move. And like, if we went in the wave pool, you couldn't even move, there was a line to get into the lazy river. So we were just like, wow. Yeah. The wave pool feels like it'd be really dangerous with them. That's what I was, that's really what I was thinking about because you can, I don't know, God forbid something like somebody fell on top of you during, I was just having a lot of thoughts. And I was like, I don't think it's a good idea to go be here right now. So you know what, let's just go back to our own pool at our hotel. You know, those life guards were stressed. Yeah. And I felt bad. I felt bad for them. I really did. So we went back to our hotel. Meanwhile, we were going to Hollywood Studios in EPCOT that night. So we had a genie plus, we had an individual lightning lane for rise again, and an individual lightning lane for guardians again that night. So I went back to the hotel, did the pool. I didn't even gone down the water slide yet. So I was like, got to go down the water side. And when we tell you something, that water side at the ground is already in, you fly down that water side for some reason. I don't know what it is, but like I was flying down that water side. It was really fast. I think we had another trip report gas recently that said that I've not been on that water side. It's a little crazy. I was like, wow. So we did that for a little bit. And then we took the bus back to Hollywood Studios. We were going to go catch the Beauty and the Beast show at five o'clock. We were, oh my God, we literally made this by the skin of our teeth. We got into Hollywood Studios at 450. And we booked it to the Beauty and the Beast show at five o'clock. Because we also had a genie plus for Tower of Terror at five 30, a rock and rollercoaster five 45 genie plus six 20 rise of the resistance individual lightning lane. And guardians of the galaxy at 720. You had quite a stack. Yeah, we had quite a stack. So I must I say that Beauty and the Beast show was really amazing. I've been seeing a lot of the shows at Disney. I should really take the opportunity next time to watch some more of the shows. I know this was all about the rides. But I was, I really thought that show was so adorable. It was so cute. Very heartfelt. And then we did Tower of Terror, five 30 genie plus amazing rock and rollercoaster. Again at five 45 rise of the resistance at six 20. And this is where it got a little hairy. We had the individual lightning lane for guardians of the galaxy at 720. So we haven't taken a Skyliner yet. And I said we were going to take the Skyliner this trip around. So we took the Skyliner over to EPCOT. And wow, what's I say? That is a really nice form of transportation. I will definitely be doing that again. And we got on guardians at 720. And that was the end of our Disney parks. Took them on our back to the Floridian, had dinner at Gasparillas again. And we watched the fireworks from our room. What a marathon day. At least at the, at least in the evening. Oh my God. It was the evening was a little crazy, but like we did it. Yes, you did it. I went, when you listed that out, I was skeptical, but you did it. I don't know how, but we did it. So the next morning, Johan, to leave pretty early to go to your flight, right? Yeah. So I was so sad. So Saturday, July 6th, we, I think our flight was at 11. I think it was 11. 40, our flight was at. We got to the airport at like 10. Went through security. And honestly, no delays. We actually got home a lot sooner than I thought we were going to be home around like left at 11. 42. We walked into our door at 3.30, which was pretty, no, it is pretty impressive. Yeah. So overall, it sounded like an incredible trip. I'm curious about two things. One is the resort. How did you feel about seeing the graffiti? That is definitely my home resort for sure. I love the luxuriousness of it. I love how it's very upscale, the very Victorian vibe. You feel very taken care of there. And I love that they have room service in your room. And I didn't take advantage of that this time, but that's totally fine. All the cast members there are phenomenal. I love being on the monorail line. The buses were great. Definitely highly recommend the grandplarity and 100%. Okay. And then how did you feel about traveling this time of year? Would I go back during the summertime? I don't know. It's very hot. It's very, very hot. And I just want to say for the record as someone who's been doing this for 20 years and all of my early trips were this time of year, it's hotter, right? Can I tell you? I remember going as a kid this time of year. I don't remember it being this hot. It is factually provable that it is hotter. It's really hot. And so when you take an already hot thing and make it 10 degrees hotter, now it's painfully hot. It's just crazy, though, because everybody I talk to, I would talk to people on the monorail and there'd be people from Florida and they're like, this is really just unseasonably hot. I know which to lie, but this is really hot, hot. It is. But it was that way in May, it was that way in June. It was, you know what I mean? This is just how this year. And I will say this. I live in New Jersey, and when we landed, it was just as hot here when we got back as it was in Florida. And today, in New Jersey, it reached, I think, almost 102 degrees instead of my car. Right. Which is unfortunate because you guys also get really bad mentors. As someone who's in Texas and has a similar weather to Orlando, the difference is that we're not out in it. You're an air conditioning, yeah. In Florida, you are out in it. And it's pretty intense. So you're saying you're not sure if you would go in the summer? I don't know. The thing is with the Grand Floridian, I love the summer vibe there. I loved the summer vibe there. I will say this, and I think this is a really good thing to bring up because this was a Disney podcast. This is a little story really quick. I know we're approaching our ending. You're fine. So back in September last year, my boyfriend and I took a trip to go see, I don't know if you guys ever heard of the view. It's on ABC. We won a Disney cruise on the view. We won the Disney treasure. We will be going on March 2nd, and we have like a deluxe suite on the ship. So I would love to come back and report on that if you would like to have me again. So as we're talking, I had write down questions that I want to ask in the after chat, and one of them was to ask you about Disney Cruise's. Oh my God, I shouldn't. So let's talk about the story of how you want to cruise on the view in the after chat. Because now I want to know more. Okay. But overall, this trip, fantastic planning. I'm glad it went really well. It did. It did. It did. And you did a great job. And I love your enthusiasm. Thank you. Thank you, Shannon. Thank you so much for having me on this podcast. Yes. Thank you for taking the time to my pleasure. Absolutely. Thank you. Thank you. I hope you enjoyed those conversations as much as I did. I was feeling very energized after talking to him and just remembering that sort of new Disney Park visitor energy. As we mentioned, at the end of the episode, he does have a story about how he managed to win a Disney Cruise. It was already on my list of things to ask him about is if he would consider a cruise. So to find out that he actually won one was a delight. And that story, among some other things, is in the after chat up on Patreon. I think that'll wrap up this episode of W. Deripipip to go.
