AP News, I'm Ed Donichu. A huge wildfire in Texas is getting even bigger. It's now rivaling the biggest fire in Texas state history. Here's the AP's Haya Punjwani. Christian Rangel, a meteorologist from the National Weather Service in Amarillo says the weather conditions lined up to make the fire spread further. We reached critical wildfire conditions like the weather for the area. So basically, all of the meteorological conditions lined up to help fire spread during those days. Critical fire conditions include heavy winds, low humidity, and dry grass or weeds. Rangel says the rest of the week should be relatively cooler. I'm Haya Punjwani. An appellate judge in New York has refused to stop collection of Donald Trump's $454 million civil fraud penalty while he appeals. Rejecting the former president's request, he'd be allowed to post a bond covering just a fraction of what he owes. Hunter Biden told lawmakers in a house impeachment inquiry of his father, President Biden was not involved in his business and accused Republicans of trafficking an innuendo, distortion, and sensationalism.
