He was happy with how everything went. The White House plans to release details later today. Jean-Pierre was asked if the 81 year old president took a cognitive test. The president doesn't need a cognitive test. That is not my assessment. That is not my assessment. That is the assessment of the president's doctor. That is also the assessment of the neurologist who has also made that assessment as well. This is AP news. Former President Donald Trump is appealing his fraud penalty and he is ready to post bond. Trump's lawyers told a New York appellate court on Wednesday that he's prepared to post a hundred million dollar bond to stop the collection of his civil fraud penalty. They say the provisions of the verdict make it so that the former president can't secure a bond for the full amount, which is over four hundred million dollars. To pause the collection automatically, Trump would have to post that full amount. His lawyers also said they are unable to obtain loans from New York banks for three years because of a ruling in February banning Trump, his company and his co-defendants from doing so. The Republican presidential candidate has until March 25th to secure a stay, which is a legal mechanism pausing collection while he appeals. I'm Haya Punjwani.
