Host Sharon Hinton speaks to activist Carrie Mays. Carrie helped organize Boston's largest Black Lives Matter protest, was appointed by Mayor Wu as the first youth representative to serve on the civilian review board of police accountability, and is currently in the running for Miss Massachusetts. She and Sharon discuss social activism, pageants, and the need to act as uplifting role models, particularly for black women.
