This is AP News, I'm Rita Folle. It's just an annual physical, but President Biden is visiting Walter Reed National Military Medical Center today for the tests. And the results are sure to be closely watched as he runs for re-election, AP Washington correspondent Sagar Magani. At 81, he's already the oldest American president and would be 86 at the end of a second term if re-elected. After his last physical a year ago, doctors declared him healthy, vigorous, and fit to handle his duties. But many voters worry about the president's age. The AP's Jennifer King on the latest primary results for the president and Donald Trump. President Joe Biden won the Democratic primary in Michigan, but the results highlighted a vulnerability ahead of the November general election. Votes for uncommitted with a campaign organized by activists disillusioned with Biden's handling of the war in Gaza garnered over 13 percent or over 100,000 votes. The AP spoke to Dearborn voter Miriam Mohsen. No candidate will receive our votes if they continue to support genocide in Gaza. Michigan has the nation's largest concentration of residents of air, American descent. Former President Donald Trump won the Republican-Michigan primary. In Tally's early Wednesday, Trump had about 60 percent of the vote versus a little over 26 percent for Nikki Haley. Trump heads into Super Tuesday, having swept all five of the first states on the Republican primary calendar. I'm Jennifer King. A series of wildfires has been burning across the Texas panhandle. People have been running from their homes, powers off for thousands. Parts of the Midwest got fierce thunderstorms and what may have been several tornadoes overnight and into this morning. Power got knocked out for thousands. Some homes were damaged and some gas lines, too. Pope Francis, who recently had the flu, was taken to a hospital in Rome briefly this morning for diagnostic testing. The Vatican didn't provide any details. This is AP News. Now a new report on the number of abortions being performed in this country. The hashtag we count report found that between 81,000 and up to 89,000 abortions took place each month from July through September of last year. But how they are provided is different. A new study conducted for the advocacy group Society of Family Planning Finds. 14 states are enforcing a ban on abortion at all stages of pregnancy, and those states have hardly obtained any through the health care system. But there are more abortions in several other states and far more abortion pills prescribed through telehealth, including some for women who live in states with deep restrictions. I'm Julie Walker.
