So I was hoping on Saturday night that he would mention Lake and Riley and but I think he just wanted to be sort of gracious and you know and not not be that confrontational especially since he was in he was in Nikki Haley's backyard there in South Carolina. But I I'm told that today he is going to mention it and we played the sound cut yesterday of KJP saying that he couldn't that Biden couldn't call a lake and Riley's family to express his condolences because you know there's a criminal investigation going on and it not that that ever stopped him and say January 6 where he says it's the worst insurrection since since the Civil War which was started by Democrats and you know it's I mean it's total BS and what I'm told is that perhaps Donald Trump today is going to point out I don't know this for a fact but rumors last night that perhaps Donald Trump is going to say that the reason that Brandon has not talked to Lake and Riley's grief-stricken family is that they don't want to talk to him because they know he has the blood of their bubbly daughter as the bubbly the New York Post word I thought it was a pretty good word from what I've seen of her. He has her blood on his hands he has the blood of all these people on on his hands they we're gonna have we're gonna have another we're gonna have Todd Lyons from ISIS emergency removal unit or ERO in and for some reason now let's see if the listeners can piece it together this guy is gonna benefit from the exemption the exemption is that it allows restaurants baking and selling bread as a standalone item to continue paying the current rate of $16 to its employees as opposed to 20 now that's very convenient for Greg Flynn the billionaire owner of these Panera bread franchise locations because Panera bread happens to bake and sell bread as a standalone item you know I think though this is not gonna go the way Gavin Newsome and his pal think it's gonna go because number one they can't get enough people to work in these fast food restaurants to begin with right right so if you have a choice between working at Panera bread for 16 bucks an hour and anywhere else for 20 bucks an hour where are you gonna go Grace yeah pretty clear right the second thing is you know there's so many places now that have their own that have their own hot bread now do you do we really think that they got people coming in at like 3-4 in the morning bakers coming in and needing the dough and you know and mixing up the biscuit mix and all that stuff and no of course not they're just they're just taking it out of the freezer and throwing it in the oven so don't you think that all these other fast food restaurants all they need to do is put in a baking oven and they're gonna get the they're gonna get the same benefit yeah and you can just you can bag up like a loaf or two or if you're Wendy's or something a couple hamburger buns you can put it at the front of the store it doesn't matter if anyone actually buys it as long as you got it in the front you can use it for a couple days and you can keep paying everybody 16 bucks an hour right it's it's like a lot of these places that are used to be in the north end that be drops for bookie joints and then have like a couple of cans of crushed tomatoes in the front that covered with dust and now it's in the bedegas you know and they release that within days and now it's been a year right because it doesn't fit the the narrative and this that this certainly doesn't fit the narrative so I doubt I doubt we're gonna we're gonna see this anytime soon do they have to give a reason when they get a public records request for the 911 call is it just gonna be like oh the investigation is ongoing or things like that would hurt the Howie car show will be right back you're listening to the Howie car show 844 542 42 please explain the sweatshirt logo I'm wearing a sweatshirt here it says fighting Christians on it and I got this sweatshirt I had it made for myself there used to be there there's a college in North Carolina it used to be called Elon College now it's Elon University and I always loved the nickname the fighting Christians sin it's an Elon College Alamance County right in between on the West the demon deacons of Wake Forest and on the east the blue devil's of Duke University so they're great story grandpa couldn't use the damn part of a lot no this is they want someone wanted to know this the fighting Christians I don't you think that's a great name Taylor for for a team a decent name so I went I was taking my daughter down there you know to go there and she said you want to go on the tour and I said no I'm gonna go to the student store and I'm gonna buy some fighting Christian paraphernalia and you know where the stories go and I can tell I know by now fighting Christian was deemed inappropriate terrible I think it's a great name howie I do too I think it's a great and the guy looks like Jed Clampett the fighting Christian and you know what else I think is great what I think if you go to Howie Carter dot com and click on story you can get a really great deal on the even pure biospede vacuum and I think that's great as well might be even better than that name but anyway the that's that's what it is it's the fighting and I just like to wear it every once in a while the fighting Christians it looks like the the fighting Irish guy the leprechaun well he hasn't been banned yet but it's you know what's up he's wearing like a tricorn or hat you know why is that that isn't that stereotyping that that Irish are always fighting it's okay to make fun of white people I know I know it is that was a I was just joking but anyway that's the story behind the sweatshirt 844 and I had to buy this on online and then get someone to what to make me that the sweatshirt because they don't sell these in the in the Elon University student story more they're now the phoenix or some some such silliness Robert you're next with howie car go ahead Robert thank you for taking my call howie I'd like to say one thing about when they take a woman and her daughter and kick them out of the town hotel room and they take a American veteran and kick him into the curb and they so they get more money they're again $200 a day for those folks not again three something a day for the illegals right isn't that property don't they call that profiteering in this well I mean maybe I think profiteering is a word that's usually used in wartime and or or you know if they they instituted windfall profits tax I mean I think all these all these hotels have just decided if they can get a hundred percent occupancy for for five or however many years they probably charge like you say 25 30 40 percent more per per room it doesn't matter if they but the rooms you know the on the bat on the negative side chart Robert the the rooms the hotel is going to be totally destroyed but what do you care if you're you know if you make if you're making you know three million a year instead of a million a year for five years it doesn't matter if you just raise the property and turn it into a parking lot of howie car
